Lilith's pov:

This was just plain torture. All five of us were the only students in this Remidle Goodness class. I wanted to actually send myself to the firepits of Surtar, practically anywhere in the nine realms was better than this. I just sat there staring at my book as Mal answered the next question. "Just pick the one that doesn't sound any fun," Mal stated.

That made sense for this boring class. Just then, a young girl wore similar clothes to the Fairy Godmother. She also had short brown hair that was in a bob-cut style. She squealed in fear when she saw us. She handed the Fairy Godmother a form to sign for an early dismissal for the coronation. She turned to her daughter, Jane to face us to say hello but she just walked away scared. And of course, Fairy Godmother goes back to her teaching which is making me wish that I had stayed on the Isle. Jay practically forced Carlos's hand down so that Fairy Godmother would call on Jay to answer the question.

No more than three seconds later, both boys started to fight each other. The Fairy Godmother tapped on her blackboard to get their attention but it didn't work. "I got this one Miss," I said as I walked towards the boys.

I pulled them apart from each other "Quit acting like children. Honestly, you two are worse than my brothers." I scolded.

Fairy Godmother figured that they could use their type of energy on the Tourney Field. "Lilith, I want you to go with the boys too. You seem to be perfect for the cheerleading team." Fairy Godmother suggested.

"Oh no. I wouldn't be caught in Valhalla wearing a skirt and pom-poms." I said, sternly.

But five minutes later, I'm now wearing the cheerleading uniform and watching Jay and Carlos try out for the Tourney Field team. I'm starting to regret breaking up their fighting. To make things worse, Audrey is the captain of the cheerleading squad and she was giving me glares that could kill. Once the coach blew his whistle, I watched Jay dominate the team just when the whistle blew. He bashed into other players along with Carlos as he scored. He scared off the goalie and started doing a victory dance. The rest of the girls were cheering on him while I just smirked. The coach blew his whistle and yelled at Jay and told him to get over to him. As he did the cheerleaders cheered well, most of them, which was Audrey.

"What do you call that?" Coach asked, "I call that raw talent. Come find me later. I'll show you two something you haven't seen before. It's called a rule book. Welcome to the team."

The coach looked at Carlos and thought that he wasn't good enough for the team but Ben offered to work with him. Jay was ready to practice again but we ended up getting a stink eye from Chad. As he pushed him outta the way he held his shoulder in pain. I guess Auradon wasn't too bad but I still think that I don't even want to be a cheerleader.

Audrey gave each of the girls a copy of the cheer they would be doing at the game then she turned to me. "And why are you here? You don't look like the type of person who would be showing her school spirit." She said to me in a nasty tone.

"Fairy Godmother signed me up. She figured that since the boys are doing the Tourney Field team, I'd be on your little squad just to make sure they don't cause trouble." I explained.

Audrey just stared at me then she told me to make myself useful and get in line with the rest of the cheerleaders. I didn't know what she was planning so I just shrugged and went to my spot. I could hear the girls whispering things about me but I shook it off. Just as practice ended, I went to grab my bag but I ended up bumping into someone. I tried to move out of the way but this person just kept blocking me. "Ok, if this is someone's idea of a joke, it's not funny," I said.

I was losing my patience with this person. He took off his helmet and he stared at me like I was an animal in a cage. "Sorry, but I just had to see you. I'm James, son of Hercules." The guy introduced himself.

Oh great, so now I have to deal with another god. Just how I wanted to start my day. "What do you want with me jr?" I asked.

"Easy there. I'm no threat. I saw you out there and you didn't look very excited to be on the squad." James said.

"What did you expect? Me, the daughter of the God of Mischief being all peppy and cheery? Well, you're wrong! Now move! I'll be late to class." I said as I pushed James out of the way.

I joined up with Mal and Evie since our lockers are in the same place. Evie left for her chemistry class so it was just me and Mal. "So how was cheerleading practice with the Princess of Nightmares?" Mal joked.

"If you're talking about Audrey then yes. It was awful. To make things worse, I just met Hercules' son, James." I explained.

I could hear Audrey talking to Ben about Maleficent just being an evil fairy. Then my so-called cousin Terra walked over to them. I quietly snuck over to hear what Terra was saying.

Terra: "Audrey, I think you're being a little dramatic."

Audrey: "Dramatic?! Oh, and you said at least talk to that boyfriend of yours Terra, 'cause I saw him talking to your evil cousin."

Terra: "How would you know?"

Audrey: "Because Fairy Godmother put her on the cheerleading squad. Though honestly, I think she belongs in the Isla just like her father and those monsters she calls brothers."

Terra: "I wasn't aware that my cousin has siblings."

Audrey: "And have you seen the way she dresses? She's never gonna pass as a real royal. I bet not even her own mother could stand seeing her daughter a disgrace to her bloodline."

No one talks about my mother like that. I might not have known her but no one mocks her or my family. I felt a few tears coming down as I bolted away from them. I just want to get the wand and get out of this school. Just as I was heading to Royalty Mannerism, I heard soft music coming from one of the classrooms. I peeked into the door and saw a few students dancing to the music. I get my love of dance from my mother at least that's what my dad tells me. I learned how to dance from my dad and my brothers when I was little.

I was so lost in thought that I didn't hear someone coming my way. The door opened and I fell into the classroom, everyone just stared at me. I felt so embarrassed in front of everyone. Suddenly, someone offered their hand to me and pulled me up to my feet. I looked up and saw the teacher smiling warmly at me. "You alright there dear one?" she asked.

She looked strangely familiar like I'd seen her before. She asked me why I was there and I just told her the truth that I was walking to my class and I got curious when I heard the music. I heard a student saying that I should stay in the class since I seemed interested in it. "I don't want to impose. I have to get to Royal Mannerism and I doubt you would want a VK in your class." I said, looking down at my feet.

Just as I was about to leave, the teacher put her hand on my shoulder. Something about her made me forget all my troubles. "I think you should stay." she said, "I'll have Fairy Godmother put you in a later class for Royal Mannerism. You remind me of my youngest son. He had that same spark of determination when I taught him magic."

That's when it hit me, the teacher was none other than Frigga, my dad's mother, and my grandmother. I remember the stories my dad would tell me about Frigga, she's the kind of person that you would want to believe in. I just nodded my head that I would stay and she looked thrilled. She had me stand near Ruby, the daughter of Rapunzel who didn't look scared to see me.

I was having a blast in this class, I knew all the steps to the dance in a heartbeat, and for the first time, no one saw me as a monster. Ruby turned out to be really nice. She didn't care that I was a VK and she was willing to give me a chance.

When Frigga ended the class, she asked me to stay back a bit just to talk. I got nervous at first but being around her made me feel safe. "I know your Loki's daughter and my granddaughter," she said.

"H-How did you know?" I asked in a shaky voice.

"Child, I taught your father many things when he was younger, one of them including the dance for royal balls. You look so much like him," she answered.

I guess there was still one person that still believes in dad. I shared everything about my life since I felt like I could trust her. Frigga is a really good listener and she offered to give me private magic lessons. Since Auradon doesn't allow magic anymore, Frigga has been giving lessons on magic to some of the magic-type kids. I told her I would be honored to have those lessons and I headed to my next class.
