Lilith's pov:

The next day, I joined up with Mal at her locker to go over the plan. She told me that she had one extra love potion cookie for me to use. I wasn't going to use it at all but maybe I'll save it for a special occasion. I saw some of the girls from my dance class waving at both me and Mal. I walked away from Mal but only to have bumped into James again. "We've gotta stop meeting this way," he said with a smile.

I rolled my eyes at him. I didn't want to get in trouble with my cousin since he is Terra's boyfriend. Something seemed off about him, James just took my hand and pulled me into one of the empty classrooms. I wanted to slap him for acting like I was into him but he stopped me. "I'm not gonna hurt you. I just wanted to say that I believe you about your dad being a good guy," he said.

So someone believes me about my dad, that's a first. I just shrugged and headed out the door, and just in time too, Mal's love cookie worked. The others were gathered around Ben as the love spell took effect to make him starstruck by Mal. I watched as Ben tried to sing out Mal's name but she quickly covered his mouth before anyone could hear him. "I think you used too much love potion in the cookie." I joked.

"Not funny," Mal said.

(Tourney Game)

The game is now tied, one more point and we win against the Sherwood Falcons. I was with Mal and Evie watching the game and waiting for Jay and Carlos to get into the game. Jay asked the Coach if Carlos could play much to Carlos' dislike. He said that Carlos has been training hard and deserves a chance to prove himself. The coach put him in the game and they managed to break the tie as the crowd cheered. I was cheering the loudest for Jay, and my feelings for him finally came out. Suddenly Ben grabbed the mic to get the school's attention "There's something I'd like to say!" He shouted.

The whole crowd died down waiting for Ben to make his announcement. Just then he started to spell out Mal's name for the whole school to hear. "I love you, Mal! Did I mention that?" He questioned.

Almost everyone was in awe when Ben confessed his love for Mal. Audrey on the other hand, not so much. She was furious and stormed off, serving her right. The marching band started playing an upbeat song as Ben and the team started dancing. "What was in the cookie?" I asked Mal.

"I guess the spell was more powerful than I thought," Mal whispered back to me.

Ben practically jumped onto the horse mascot and rode on it. He even took off his team jersey and threw it at Mal to catch.

The team threw Ben into the crowd and crowd surfed to Mal.

The song ended as Ben pulled Mal close to him. Audrey stomped up to Ben and announced that Chad was her new boyfriend and she was going to the coronation with him. She then kissed Chad in front of everyone, I could see Evie boiling with jealousy. Ben didn't even care and asked Mal to be his date to the coronation, she said yes and the whole crowd cheered for them. Audrey walked off in a stormy mood, I guess Mal's plan was working.

But something felt off to me, the whole plan to get the wand didn't seem to make me want to rule over all mortals. I needed some air so I left the game and walked to my locker. Just as I was grabbing my books, I felt someone place their hand on my shoulder. I turned to attack them "Woah, woah, Lily, it's just me, Jay." He said with his hands in the air.

I apologize to Jay for almost attacking him, I had a lot going on in my mind. Then something amazing happened, Jay pulled me in close and kissed me. I swear I felt fireworks going off when he kissed me. He then pulled away from me "Why did you do that?" I asked.

"When I saw Ben confess his feelings for Mal, it gave me the courage I needed to tell you how I felt about you. I'm in love with you Lilith Lokisdottir. I always have been." Jay confessed.

I was blushing so hard, that I confessed my feelings for Jay but just as we were about to kiss again someone spotted us. We didn't know who it was but we knew we had to keep our relationship a secret. If Jay's dad finds out then we're both in trouble. Things got even worse from there.

During Royal Mannerism class, the White Queen was giving a lecture on what was appropriate for the coronation when I heard Terra and Audrey whispering about something. I just ignored them I tried to focus but that became even harder. Audrey asked the White Queen if she could say something, I knew this wasn't going to end well.

Audrey: "Does the rules state that you can bring two dates to the coronation?"

White Queen: "Just one Audrey."

Audrey: "Then I guess Lilith isn't going."

Lilith: "What's that supposed to mean?!"

Audrey: "First James, now you move on to Jay. Desperate much?"

Lilith: "You little spy! It was you that saw us!"

Audrey: "So what? You seem to be having no trouble getting boys to follow you. I bet you brainwashed them just like your dad."

My rage was kicked into overdrive. I stormed up to Audrey and gave her a hard slap to the face.

Lilith: "You spoiled narcissistic brat! Don't ever talk about my father! I am sick of the mind games and the backstabbing! You think I want to be here?! I came here just to make my dad proud and clear his name. He was right about you mortals, you all care about nothing but yourselves!"

Terra: "Lilith, stand down!"

Lilith: "Don't talk to me, Thorsdottir! You and your golden family don't control me! Go back to your golden place with mommy and daddy.

Terra: "Mind your tone!"

Lilith: "No I won't. I'm getting out of this nightmare and going home!"

With that, I stormed out of the class and marched to my dorm room. The others can stay here and complete the plan, I'm going back to my family. I packed my things and head to Fairy Godmothers' office. Just as I was about to head into her office, someone grabbed me and put their hand over my mouth. "Lilith it's just me." The figure spoke.
