Volume 3, Chapter 4:
Announcer: Everyone remain calm!
Screams were heard all over Haven Academy and yet no sight of anyone on campus. Until a group of two teams and a Dalek began to walk on sight with their weapons ready and marching on. From inside the academy, the Slitheens were everywhere and disguised as staff members. Down below underground, the Doctor slowly walked towards the Slitheen ship while keeping an eye out for any Slitheen nearby as the loud noises from the people continued.
Announcer: Cause ITSSSSSSSSSSSSSS SHOWTIME FOLKS! For the Annual Vytal Festival!
The crowd of people let out their energy of screams across the stadium for the second round of the Vytal Festival was soon to begin with the quarterfinals and two of those teams competing were Team RWBY (JEDZ) and Team STRQ but they would face other in the last match for they have a much important task that could decide the fate of Remnant: Stopping the Slitheen.
Summer: You think they already know we're here?
Yang: They know we're here. They're just waiting.
Weiss: Doctor, what's your status?
Doctor: Plenty of them over here. They are also guarding the ship. Once you cause havoc, it gives me the opening.
Raven: With everyone at the festival right now for the second round, it'll keep them safe from these creatures.
Ruby: Khan? How many do you detect?
Dalek Khan: I have detected 14 of them. 11 are in disguise and 3 are hiding. They are all watching us.
Ruby: We once had a death battle in the food hall with friends of ours, time for round 2...only this time it's the fate of our planet.
The whole group enter the food hall knowing they are being watched as the Slitheens were lurking and slowly approaching the food hall as well. Down below, the Doctor was hiding and watching the Slitheens working. His Sonic Screwdriver lighted up alerting him that the Eternal Bomb was now processing the formula and soon to be active. They were unable to stop the formula from being complete but onto the next which is to deactivate the bomb.
Willow:*whispers* Any updates?
The Doctor: No, they are very on sight with guarding the ship from- *eyes widened* Willow! What are you doing here?! I told you to stay in the TARDIS.
Willow: I know but in case things go haywire, *holds a grenade* I'm not gonna let you die.
The Doctor: That's actually my duty. To make sure you're back home safe and not in danger.
Willow: I know. But if there is one thing, we Schnees like my father and Kara, we don't back down from anything.
The Doctor: *looks at Willow surprised* How long have you known?
Willow: Not that long ago. I don't know what kind of relation I'll have with Kara in the future, but I know that she's someone who's a part of this family. It wasn't too obvious Doctor, just seeing her and seeing how she is gave me a hunch that she is someone I will eventually know and meet in the future.
Unbeknowst to both of them, Weiss heard the entire conversation from her scroll and felt a mix of fear and comfort that her mother at least knew she was someone in the family down the line.
Ruby: What is it?
Weiss: She knows...Willow knows...
Ruby: *gasps* Oh...Oh no...
Weiss: D-Don't worry though! She only knows I'm a part of the family in the future.
Summer: You're related to Willow Schnee in the future?
Taiyang: It's like she said, she only knows Kara is a relative from the future. And it's best to keep it that way.
Weiss: Guess it wouldn't hurt to tell you guys about it but I hope you keep it a secret. *breathes* My name isn't Kara Eberle. My name is Weiss Schnee. And I am Willow's daughter from the future.
This shook Team STRQ because despite not looking anything like Willow, here in front of them was her daughter from decades later. Understanding that she alongside her teammates travels with the Doctor, knowing more or even telling Willow who Weiss truly is could fracture the timeline.
Summer: Don't worry Weiss. Your secret is safe with us and if possible, we'll keep an eye on her whenever we can. *smiles*
Dalek Khan: ALERT! We got incoming.
Everyone gathered near the kitchen room and saw the Slitheens approaching with Corsac leading the group. The staff members once again pulled the zipper across their foreheads to reveal their true selves.
Corsac: A surprise to see some of you walking. Especially you princess after bashing you to the ground four times. Perhaps I should have just focused on your head.
Blake: You were able to survive heavy impact back in Menagerie. You shouldn't be surprised I could survive something like that too.
Corsac: And you also brought heavy weaponry that is the Dalek. A Dalek teaming with humans to defeat us, what deal did these humans offer you Dalek?
Dalek Khan: There is no deal. These are my friends!
Corsac: So many surprises. It's a shame this will all end soon for we have come prepared as well. We all carry a simple yet deadly weapon that could end each of you in a matter of seconds. Molecular repurposing.
Dalek Khan: A weapon to change anyone or anything into any sort of object, shape, or even disintegration.
Corsac: Correct! And these are well updated, you all will be the first to try it out.
Qrow: We got something of our own as well! THINK FAST!
Qrow lunged and threw a grenade towards one of the Slitheens which it caught the bomb as the others laughed at the fail attempt. Qrow only smirked as he revealed the pin was already pulled which stopped the laughs from the Slitheens as the one holding the grenade was blown up with vinegar and the Slitheen melted into a sticky green puddle which startled the others.
Blake: You may have been ahead of us this whole time but you'll still fall short!
Corsac: *growls* KILL THEM ALL!
Ruby used her semblance to gather all tables and creating a deep layer of barricades to give them enough protection from the Slitheen's molecular weapon while the others began to launch the grenades, Dalek Khan began to exterminate the group of Slitheen while Blake only had eyes on Corsac.
Blake: Let's end this now! You and me Corsac!
Corsac: I would have blasted you already but you're just too fun to kill so quickly. *Growls and charges at Blake*
Underground, alarms rang that the Slitheens above would need backup as numbers of them ran out and teleported to the Academy giving the Doctor and Willow a chance to sneak in quickly. Using the Sonic Screwdriver to track the Eternal Bomb leading to the main pilot room.
The Doctor: They already activated the Eternal Bomb, they're using it to fuel their ship first.
Willow: How much time do we have?
The Doctor: 17 minutes til the ship is filled up. Meaning that when it approaches the final minutes, they're all going to come back for takeoff. If I could find a way to defuse it or even remove it without activating alarms-
Willow: Doctor, what is all this?
The Doctor looked over to where Willow was looking, and he did not like what she was watching. It was multiple screen panels with different footage and information of the past and future. Mutiple names of people who were already born or have yet to be born and those who have died or have yet to die. Historical events that have happened and those yet to happen. The Slitheens were all over in different timelines across Remnant and they were watching events transpire and passing it on to this ship.
The Doctor: Willow, look away and keep an eye on any Slitheens that could come by.
Willow knew by the Doctor's voice that this was serious and something she should not see. The Doctor used his Sonic Screwdriver to shut down every screen and delete all information past and future so that no one, NO ONE, ever gets this information. He continued to delete everything as he tried to avoid seeing future events that'll happen. Only once he jumped to the future of Remnant and that was to see Salem's defeat happen. As 99% of everything was deleted, there was one more file that appeared before being deleted completely...
This file was something he should have not seen but he did...
...No one should know about their time coming to an end, not how, not when, none...
But the Doctor's focus to delete everything cost him into seeing what the last file placed on screen and an empty wound was felt inside his heart...
...Wherever one goes, whatever path they take, it will follow. Never faster, never slower, always coming. They will run. It will walk. They will rest. It will not...
THE DOCTOR DEAD! REMNANT MOURNS DAYS AFTER THE WAR!
He didn't want this. He did not want to go yet. He wasn't ready. He was unsure if this meant by his actual death or simply...regeneration. Either way, he would die, and he was not ready to accept this. Time has placed a countdown for the young time lord and many thoughts came to him but most specifically...his family...how will they take it...how will Team RWBY take it...how will Weiss take it...
Willow: Doctor, what's wrong?
The Doctor: I...saw something I shouldn't have seen...
The time lord returns to defuse the Eternal Bomb but that haunting headline is now glued to his head, and it meant he needed to start preparing for what was to come despite that he is not ready to go.
Lecter: How very kind of you to join us Doctor? But I'm afraid you're too late.
The Doctor moved back quickly, and guarded Willow as the Vice Headmaster Lecter appeared from the shadows in full Slitheen look. Willow however, pulled out a sword she found nearby as the two stood position against the Vice Headmaster Slitheen while the rest of the gang were on top against Corsac and the remaining Slitheens left.

Blake lunged towards Corsac as their clash continues across the food hall while the others took the risks of going out to the battlefield and taking down a few Slitheens in their paths to avoid wasting all of the grenades. Ruby and Yang use a sister slice and double shot combo killing one of the Slitheens while Weiss uses her Time Angel powers to block all blasts from the molecular devices and sending a huge pulse at the creatures.

Team STRQ found an opening between Dalek Khan and Weiss in which they made a full charge and used their ultimate team combo resulting in a Slitheen being sliced to bits while the head was shot off by Taiyang.

Blake and Corsac continued their clash of strength and size against speed and agility. With her fixed up Gambol Shroud, thanks to Dalek Khan, Blake latched the rope around Corsac's neck and pulls him back trying to slice through the thick skin of his as the Slitheen tries to slam her on the wall but continues to hold on. Back down, it was the Doctor and Willow about to clash with Slitheen Lecter as he made the first charge towards them.

Willow blocked the strike with the sword before ducking down and slicing the knee part of the Slitheen causing it to roar furiously. The Doctor takes a turn in using his Sonic Screwdriver to send a huge pulse that has the creature crashing back while the Doctor makes a run to continue defusing the bomb.
Farewell, I've gone to take my throne above
But don't weep for me

The Doctor: It's getting harder to defuse it by more time wasted-
Willow: WATCH OUT!
The Doctor turned around to see a Slitheen claw going right at him, but an ice figure summoned appeared in front of him and blocked the Slitheen's strike as he looked over and noticed Willow using her semblance which was the same as Weiss of summoning glyphs. The Doctor was more in shock of what she summoned, an ice figure that represented that of an Ice Warrior.

Willow: We'll buy you time GO!
Willow and her Ice Warrior Glyph continue their double team on the Slitheen as the Doctor continues working with the bomb. Back at the top, more Slitheens were killed by team combo, Dalek khan, or the grenades but they were running out and more of the creatures continued to show up. But these huntsmen, huntresses, and Dalek weren't stopping either.

Corsac: ARROGANT LITTLE PEST! *Carries Blake and spears her through the wall*
Yang: BLAKE?!
Raven: *looks over then looks at Qrow and nods* You guys continue stopping them! Qrow and I will help her out! *Runs past the wall with Qrow*
Taiyang: We're almost out of grenade!
Summer: *looks over at the kitchen* The oil...THE OIL! TAI CMON!
The two runs inside the kitchen leaving Team RWB and Dalek Khan fighting off the rest of the Slitheen. But they were not concerned about themselves, they were more concerned about Blake and the bomb. But they were faithful, and they were not going to stop. Blake gets back up and positions herself against a rageful Corsac.
Corsac: Enough playing around Belladonna! I will end you here and now!
Qrow: She ain't alone freak!
Raven and Qrow make it just in time as they position themselves as well with their weapons, making this 3 on 1. Corsac laughed at the sight, but it didn't matter to him for all he saw was an endless buffet. Everyone had their battles in different parts, but the goal was still the same altogether, saving their home.

Willow: Doctor? Any time now! The Ice Warrior can only go on for a short time!
The Doctor: I've managed to slow the process but it's a very high system to defuse it.
Lecter: Do you truly think that brain of yours and your little device can stop a bomb that could destroy planets. *Chuckles and breaks the Ice Warrior glyph* Pity to call yourself the Doctor.
The Doctor: *thinks and chuckles* Guess we call it quits!
Lecter: Wait. NOOOOOOOOO!
The Doctor goes full blast on his Sonic Screwdriver, jamming the systems and charging the Eternal Bomb a lot faster which enrages the Slitheen and panics as well. The creature made a full charge towards the Doctor, but he moves away causing the creature to crash into the entire system as the bomb was bubbling up.
The Doctor: *grabs Willow* That's our cue to leave. RUN!
The two made a run for it while the Slitheen was still trying to get up not knowing the bomb was about to go off in any second. The two made the exit from the ship and continued running out.
The Doctor: Willow might be a good idea to summon any glyphs that could get us out of here faster!
Willow: On it! HANG ON!
Using the sword she found, she summons a Lancer as the two hops on and fly off. The Slitheen got fully up looking for the Doctor and Willow but was only met with the Eternal Bomb about to go off. The bomb continued to fuel up until a small ring was heard followed by nothing.
Lecter: Oh...sh-
BOOM!
The Eternal Bomb goes off killing Lecter and blowing up the entire Slitheen ship. At the same time, the explosion was felt all across Haven and during one of the matches of the Vytal Festival causing the crowd to roar in excitement thinking it was from the match. The blast continued to spread through the underground as it was approaching the Doctor and Willow.
Willow: FASTER! ALMOST THERE!
Just as the flames were on their tail, the Ice Lancer escapes through a small hole as the two sighed in relief and landed safely on the ground. After taking a few breaths, the two made their run back to Haven Academy to help the others. The Slitheens all felt the explosions which they roared in rage as the heroes took it as a sign that the worst was prevented.
Corsac: NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Blake: It's over Corsac! It's just you now! No ship! No bomb! No escape! You lose again.
Corsac: You fools and that Doctor ALWAYS get in our ways...Menagerie...White Fang Attack...and now here! Very well...if this is it for me...*glares at her* I'll make sure to take you down with me! *roars*
Back in the cafeteria, the gang were still fending off against rageful Slitheens after their plan failed while Summer and Taiyang were filling the oil with vinegar from the grenades.
Ruby: Summer! What's the holdup?!
Weiss: What are they even doing in there?
Summer: The Oil is ready!
Taiyang: We're gonna need a hand to launch it at them!
Yang: Sis! With me!
The oil was filled up and reacting very bubbly as Yang and Ruby grabbed the large container from their future parents as Dalek Khan scanned the entire container and this instantly turned to a bad idea.
Dalek Khan: WAIT!
Ruby and Yang: NOW!
With all their strengths, they launched the oil from the container and onto all the Slitheens left as they were now covered with their oil and the vinegar added as they began to react by shaking violently, which was now worrying the gang. Dalek Khan moved back as Summer and Taiyang ducked for cover and Team RWB were slowly moving away as the shaking got worse until they suddenly stopped, and all let out a
TOOOT!
A Fart. A horrendous smell came across the cafeteria as everyone covered their noses in disgust.
Weiss: BLEGH!
Ruby: Ewwwww! Alien Fart! So Gro-
Until they all blew up. Every Slitheen in that room and covered by Vinegar Oil blew up into slimy pieces killing them all but the wave of green slime and pieces flew onto the three girls covering them up and leaving them frozen in disgust.
The Doctor: *runs in* GUYS! ARE YOU- Oh...yikes...
The three girls were too stunned and disgusted to even let out a word as Willow, Summer, and Taiyang noticed the entire mess of Slitheen organs around the cafeteria and their friends covered in it as well.
The Doctor: Give us a thumbs up if you're okay!
They in fact did not give a thumbs up but rather a thumbs down from how they ended up. As the others gathered and approached the girls, another wall came crashing as Qrow, Raven, and Blake were all thrown to the ground and Corsac marched into the horror of his people killed.
Corsac: N-No...my brothers...my sisters...NOOOOO! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!
The Doctor: This was your doing Corsac. You and your people decided to gamble and try to end this planet and these lives. Look at what came to price.
Taiyang: Or as we say it, Karma's a bitch!
He was all alone, his family were all killed, and their plan failed. As everyone regrouped and surrounded him, Corsac grabs Blake with his robotic claw and holds her hostage to the concern of everyone.
Corsac: Escape is no act of cowardice but survival! You may have foiled my plans once again Doctor, but it's not the last time you'll see me. I'll travel once again, reunite with my people and END THIS PATHETIC PLANET! You included!
The Doctor: It doesn't have to end like this! You're not going to make it far if you keep this going!
Corsac: And just for that, I'll take her as well with me!
Yang: DON'T YOU DARE!
Ruby: Not on our watch!
Corsac: ONE STEP AND I'LL SNAP HER NECK LIKE A TWIG!
Everyone stood where they were not knowing what to do to rescue Blake from the last Slitheen left. Blake tried to look for any possible thing to use for escape until she saw a meat grinder behind Corsac. Seeing a grenade left on the ground, she merely grabs her Sonic Screwdriver and activates it causing the grenade to explode as vinegar falls onto Corsac's face which begins to burn and melt as he releases her and causing him to scream. She uses her Sonic again to activate the grinder.
Corsac: YOU BITCH! MY FACE! AAAAHHHHH!
Blake: NOW!
Yang, Raven, and Qrow ran to Blake and helped her together in pushing Corsac into the grinder as it begins to crunch and grind through his thick skin as the creature roars in gut wrenching pain as the other side of the grinder came out ground green flesh. Just as the four were about to run, Corsac grabs Blake once again by the leg with his robotic claw and giving a tight grip which the Faunus let out a painful scream.
Yang: LET HER GO BASTARD!
The Doctor ran in as the others tried to pull Blake away while he uses his Sonic to separate the robotic arm from Corsac pulling everyone away as Blake lands on top of a slimy Yang. The Slitheen squealed and screeched in more pain as it struggled to escape until the meat grinder got all of Corsac, killing him for good.
Yang: You okay? *pants*
Blake: *looks at her and smiles* Yeah...thanks...*sniffs* Bleugh...but you do need a shower. *Stands up and looks at the Doctor* Is it over?
The Doctor: It's over. The Slitheen is now gone for good and Remnant is safe. And your long battle with Corsac has finally concluded.
Blake sighed in relief as the long nightmare that has haunted her since returning to Menagerie is finally over. The others celebrated except for Blake's slime covered friends who were still left in disgust.
The Doctor: Now! You three should hit the shower while the rest of you rest up and clean yourself. You got a match coming up.
Summer: What about all this mess?
The Doctor: Don't you worry about it! Khan, Willow, and I will clean it up and leave it tidy clean before everyone comes back. Just do me a favor and keep the match long.
Everyone nodded and made their way out while Raven and Blake teased Team RWB for their slimy looks from Slitheen guts which irritated all three girls. Willow, the Doctor, and Dalek Khan began their operation with one thing in mind from the time lord.
The Doctor: Willow? That glyph of yours...that looked oddly like an ice warrior. How do you know of that?
Willow: Ah...that...well, I met one last year...
The Doctor: An Ice Warrior in Remnant?
Willow: I got lost during a snowstorm...and I thought I wasn't going to make it back. I fell unconscious and the next thing I know, I'm awake in a cave with a huge campfire. And from the shadow came the Ice Warrior with more sticks to keep me warm. For those 72 hours in the snowstorm, it helped me recover, kept me safe, and taught me to be combat ready in terms of weaponry and skills. Once I was found and rescued...it was gone...never to see it again...
This caught the Doctor's attention and he wondered if the Ice Warrior was still out there in the present time. He studied the Ice Warriors how they were considered one of the toughest armies in the universe. So why was it here and why did it instantly protect Willow. Once they would return to the present time, he was going to investigate.
About an hour later, the food hall was all cleaned up and repaired with nothing left of Slitheen or property damage. Once the three were done cleaning, they decided to head to the arena to watch the now showered and cleaned up Team RWBY vs Team STRQ. The match was exciting from the very start and too close to call with Dalek Khan trying to call the shots for Team RWBY which made the Doctor think he be a great combat trainer. They kept it close, intense, edge of your seat, but eventually Team STRQ got the win to move on as well. For Team RWBY it wasn't bad cause they got to compete without any Grimm interference plus they knew winning would mess up the timeline as this would be the tournament Team STRQ wins it all.
But now, as the matches ended and the festival was dying down, it was time to say goodbye. The Doctor and Team RWBY would drop Willow back to her place but wanted to say goodbye to Team STRQ first which was more bittersweet for Ruby and Yang.
Ruby: Guess this is it, it's gonna be a long while...til we see each other again.
Summer: And I hope that we do meet again Lindsay no matter what happens. Always remember this, stay true to yourself and be strong. Your mother is proud of the girl she has raised. You are amazing just the way you are.
Ruby: *sniffs and hugs her tight* T-Thank you...Summer...
Raven: Keep in touch if we're still around? *Fist bumps Yang*
Yang: As long as you don't go ditching out on us. Take care of yourself Raven, someday the people closest to you are going to need you very much.
Raven: I got my team right here and whatever the future holds, it won't keep me down. Your mom is missing out on the wonderful woman you are becoming and if I ever get to meet her one day, I'll give her a knuckle sandwich of reality.
Raven and Yang share a quick but comforting hug which warmed Yang's heart knowing while this is not the same Raven as her present timeline, she was happy that this younger version was there enough to be the mother she hoped to have. As Weiss and Blake bid goodbye to the girls, the sisters hugged Qrow and Taiyang tightly as well knowing what's to come one day in the future.
Taiyang: You girls behave. We all may be teenagers, but we have a big life ahead of us whether dealing with Grimm or simply living the life.
Qrow: Unless you're us who will do anything stupid or reckless to get things right. Might wanna add that to your notes, it's a real help.
Ruby: Thank you guys. I hope one day we can meet again and give you these same hugs again.
Yang: We'll keep that reckless part in mind very closely. *chuckles*
As the four girls now bid goodbye and headed back to the TARDIS alongside Willow, it was now just the Doctor and Team STRQ outside with the hopes that the time lord can give them important advices for them.
Summer: Well, Doctor, you're a time lord which means you know anything past and future. Any advice for us?
The Doctor: Despite Grimm out there and bad people as well, enjoy life at its fullest...because you never know when one day time will decide to beat you at this game. Never be cruel and never be cowardly. And if you ever are, always make amends. Always stay true to yourselves and always ALWAYS be kind.
Raven: Barbara did say something about you being the Doctor of Hope and Kindness.
The Doctor: Sometimes, the smallest acts or a simple kind saying can bring a big change for good.
Taiyang: Where will we be Doctor? In the timeline they are from.
The Doctor:*sighs and scratches head* I can't say. All I can give you is be prepared for what life brings you, both good and bad.
Qrow: I think we got it in the bag. We're Team STRQ after all!
The Doctor: And do stay together. Trust me, you are a big family than you think. Well then, I should depart now. Goodbye Team STRQ and best of luck.
Summer: *smiles* Goodbye Doctor. And thank you.
The Doctor smiles and waves goodbye to Team STRQ as he enters the TARDIS with coordinates ready to Mantle. The team watched in amazement as the TARDIS disappeared into thin air as they all looked up to the sky knowing the universe is big and more than meets the eye.
The Doctor: Off to Mantle to drop you off and off we go from there!
Willow: I'm guessing I'll still be seeing you six around in the future?
The Doctor: Can't go deep into details but yes. Our adventures are still far from over Little Willow.
Willow: One day hopefully I can travel across time and space just once.
The Doctor: I'll keep that in mind Willow. And you keep being you. That adventurous explorer of a great man. Cause one day, you might have generations after you that will do so much big things.
Willow: Thank you Doctor.
Weiss: Don't let anyone ever make a fool of you or bring you down to the ground. *Holds her hands* I wish I can say so much more but all I'll leave to you is that you're an amazing woman who is going to do impactful things one day. And I'll be there to see it. I know with your mom passing away it stays as a scar but believe me she would want you to keep going forward and following your path. She would be so proud of you right now and always.
Willow: *smiles and hugs Weiss* Took the words out of my mouth but thank you so much Kara. You have your family right here and always stay together. As a whole, you are unbeatable. And just know that I'm very proud of you. The woman you are becoming, and I can't wait to see it transpire.
This brought tears to Weiss knowing the mother she has in this new timeline and remembering the last time she saw her before leaving Atlas. She was grateful to have a strong mother like Willow. As the TARDIS arrived in front of the Schnee home, everyone was greeted by Nicholas Schnee as he and Willow shared a hug which brought smiles to everyone.
Nicholas: Thank goodness you are safe!
Willow: I got two parents that helped me become strong and I'm just getting started dad.
Nicholas: I know you are. I assume that the situation with the Slitheen is now over?

The TARDIS gang all wave before entering inside the police box as the time machine soon disappeared once again into thin air as the Schnee father and daughter waved and watched on in amazement as it never gets old before heading back inside their home.

Willow: Your secret project. I clouded myself because of mom's passing but thanks to the Doctor and Kara, they helped me in finally getting to start my recovery.
Nicholas: The pain never goes away my dear, but the memories of your mother will always live on in our hearts. And for right now, I'm still here and I won't be going anywhere til my girl is truly ready. And if all of this isn't for you but what's out there, you have my support.

Nicholas: Well, I think we have enough to know that there is more of the unexpected than we thought thanks to the Doctor as well. I was thinking of a special group that only focuses on the strange and unknown things across Remnant and the universe.
Willow: I like it! What's it called?
Nicholas: United Nations Intelligence Taskforce. Or UNIT for short.
