Kanda Brigade and the Real Face

As the sun rises from horizon and through the windows, Kenji opens his eyes and sees it morning already. He slowly sat up as he rubbed his eye after having his moment with the Oni. He gets up and puts on his underpants and his shirt on and headed down the stairs.

Kenji sat on the table and contemplating about what Fulst said when he said Edwin is hiding with them.

'What the hell did he mean by that?' He thought. 'Hiding with them? Them who?'

He looked at the portraits of the Kaiju/Titans.

'Soon. Soon you all will make a debut when they strike us.'

His cellphone rang and he answer it as he steps outside in the pool area.

"Hello?"

"Kenji, is everything okay?" Asagi said.

"I'm fine, Asagi. Why?"

"It's about Kosuke. He told me he saw the man who thought to be a nurse while with him was a woman with purple hair until those creatures took them! I think it was Oboro. I thought you killed her.

"I know. Apparently, when I got back with Soku, my underlings brought them to me and I was shocked that Oboro is back from the dead and revived as a vampire."

"Oboro is a vampire?"

"Yeah, I suspect that Edwin Black must've brought her back to life, but I killed her anyway since she wasn't… immune from my Nuclear Breath so she won't cause any problem with us anymore."

"That's a relief." Asagi sighed.

"As for the fat man, his name is Fulst. According from Sokushitsuki, he was an executive of Nomad and a master of demon technology."

"But why would he and Oboro go after Kousuke? Unless…"

"They were planning to use that boy to get to you, Asagi. Damn that vampire bastard, he must've wanted to get his hands on you to fulfill his plan."

"He must be close, isn't he? But what about Fulst?"

"Oh him, I fed him to the fauna Titan, but I acquired more intel from him since Edwin was hiding where I yet to locate."

"Did you find out where is he hiding?"

"No, but he's close. Closer after I've been told." Kenji said before he started explaining to Asagi about his discussion with Hiroo Nonomura. "Asagi, there's something I need to tell you and it has to do with you and the village."

"I was about to ask you, Kenji. What is it that and Mr. Nonomura were discussing about?"

Kenji took a deep breath and told her that she and all the Gosha Taimanins was marked as traitors while the Monster Prince was labeled as a most dangerous criminal in Japan.

"What!? How can that be? I mean, who marked us as a traitor?!" Asagi said, shocked.

Kenji growled. "I don't know but I suspect that this Asai person must be the one who marked us and now you, the rest, and I are being targeted." He then come up with an idea. "Asagi, is there a place we can discuss with you and the faculty members about this?"

"Uh, in the lounging room. Why?"

"Because I have plan. A very big plan and I need your help. There's a good chance that they will send a military force and raid the village."

"Do you have a plan?"

"Yes."

"Okay, meet us in the lounging room lunch."

"Don't worry, I'll be there. Buh-bye."

He hangs up and sighed before walked back inside his home.

As he enters his home, he caught a whiff of scent. A half-demon and human scent. Kenji looked around for any intruder until…

"Quite a collection you have there." He heard a woman's voice and looked to see a her, admiring a portrait he made. "You seemed to have collective of imagination, Kenji Saegusa."

"Hey, who are you?! How did you get in my home?!" He demanded. "And how did you know my name?"

He gets in fighting stance as he study the woman's feature. She has pink-violet hair with bob haircut style and wears a mask on to cover her eyes. She wears a black leotard-like battle suit and a red cape.

"Calm down, Kenji. I'm not your enemy." She said, "I'm only came here to talk to you. If you're willing that is…"

Kenji is unsured that that masked woman can be trusted or not since she enter his home, unannounced. He decided to let her talk to him, but he shouldn't let his guard down so easily.

"Okay, then talk, whoever you are." He said, sitting at the table and not taking his eyes on her.

"Good, because there's so much we need to talk about." She said, sitting down the chair as well.

"Then, what is it you want to talk about this?"

The masked lady is pulling something behind her.

"It has something to do…" He sees a big yellow envelope. "…with this."

She pulls out a paper, a photograph papers. When Kenji takes a look at them, he sees a pictures of Godzilla and the other monsters that attacked the certain areas where he's been to, including the Yamazaki's hideout.

"What's all this?" He asked.

"These are sighting of certain giant creatures that has been seen; especially in the news." She explained, "I heard that this creature with spikes on its back is… what was its name?"

"Mmm, Godzilla?"

"Godzilla. I thought this monster was a myth, along with the rest of them."

"Believe me, they were but somehow, they're pretty angry about something that disturbed their sleep."

"Disturbed their sleep? How did you know all this?"

"Sorry, that info on these creature's origin remains unknown and kept in secrecy."

The masked lady frowned that Kenji couldn't trust her when he couldn't tell her about them.

"Then how do you explain about the sightings on news? The murders of House of Greed, the destruction on King's Pleasures, and other various hideouts?" She mentioned.

"I was merely on the hunt for Incubus King so I decided to kill and destroy their hideouts since they don't even know their place." Kenji frowned.

"What about the Seishu Academy?"

"It was merely a base of operation for a certain disguised demon who was making a microchip for these poor students by turning them into a demon and prostitutions so I destroy that academy with four giant monsters."

"The Dark City and the Yomihara that it was terrorized by giant monsters?"

"The demonic infestations. So I have to do some clean-up by allowing those Titans to do some destruction while my minions kills them."

"Then why did you destroy the Tokyo Kingdom as well as attacking the Chinese Union? We had a treaty with them for decades ago." The masked lady asked.

Kenji growled in mentioning that place.

"You're talking as if you're defending them. That treaty died a long time ago. They were planning to create a clone of demonic versions of Taimanins for themself and setting a trap for incoming Taimanins had I not intervene so I sunk the entire island with Godzilla and the other monsters because everyone is going die there." He explained. "As for this Chinese Union, they ought to be punished and killed by their greed for selfish purpose so I have those space creatures kill them all."

The masked woman became wary of him because of his disdainful action towards the Chinese Union and their misguided crimes. Especially that he's not sharing the information on Kaiju to her.

"Well, I guess you don't have to indulge me any further." She said. "But that's not just why I'm here to talk to you about."

"About what?"

"Ever since the announcement by Asai, he ordered the military unit called the Kanda Brigade. They specialized in illegal activities, closer to the war criminals, and tolerated in murder and rape."

"Geez, and I thought they're supposed to protect this country." He scoffed. "And it looks like the demonic influence has rubbed off on them. So, who exactly are you and… how much do you know about me?"

The masked woman smirked while adjusting her mask.

"Let's just say that you and that certain Taimanin just kill my inferior former body and a survivor told me about you."

"Your former inferior body? A survivor? What do you mean?" Kenji questioned, feeling that she knows something.

She giggled. "I'm from the special force called the USF and we know about you."

The Monster Prince narrow his eyes in suspicion and disbelieved.

"Now don't get too wary about us. Ever since you appeared in the news broadcast, you and those Titans have those demons in fear and killing them. Although we don't have the information about those enormous creatures, but you seemed to know everything about them."

"Look, what I did was for their sakes. Those demons been running around this country and I'm sick of it! If it weren't those humanity's accidental creations, I would've slipped into the purgatory." Kenji said, "So I decided I have to put this country, my home, back the way it was before these disgusting creatures plagued it."

"They? What do you mean 'they'?" She questioned.

"You don't know, do you?" He said, "Their strengths lies with forces of nature. They may look like monsters, but there is more than meets the eye. I promised that when the vampire demon is dead, I will bring them to life and set them all free. Free to roam this world with Godzilla, King of the Monsters, keeping the other monsters in check."

"But if you do that, what will happen to you?"

"I'll just keep on hunting the demons with the help of Taimanins." Kenji then asked. "You seemed to aware that they were branded as traitors while I became wanted criminal, are you?"

"Yes, the prime minister's announcement has thrown Japan into riot, but there was some protestors, saying that Godzilla and the monsters has come to cleanse this world. They all pushed to annex the UFS for protections against you and Taimanins."

"Can't you and this UFS do something about it?"

"We can't. We only follow orders from government officials and we simply can't go against them."

Kenji sighed.

"Well, if you can't argue against them, I would like to have a word with him and those sickos." He decided, "As for the Kanda Brigade, let them come. They will be like pigs to the slaughter and once they do, they will soon realize… the village is a dangerous place for them to attack."

"Hmm…" The masked woman hummed. 'This man might not be trustworthy, but he does seem to have personal goal in mind.'

She got up from the chair as Kenji did.

"Well, since you don't want to cooperate with the USF, I might as well tell them that you were trying to restore the way Japan once before."

Before Kenji say anything, they heard a footstep and saw Sokushitsuki, in her bathrobe, is walking down the stairs.

"Master, who are you talking to?" She asked while rubbing her eyes.

He turns to see the masked woman, but she vanished before he looks at her.

"Nobody." He then turns to the phone and start calling Shirunai and told her to meet him at the academy for meeting. "Get dressed. We're going to the academy for meeting."

"Yes, master."

The Oni swordswoman went back to the bedroom and get changed to her kimono battle outfit while Kenji turns to his monster form.

'That woman. What did she mean survivor told here and what former body?'

As he think about what she meant, he smelled a scent and turned to see Sokushitsuki is ready.

"Come, let's go. Something bad is coming over there."

"What do you mean?" She asked.

Kenji sighed and carried her before running out the pool area and spread his wings out to fly over to Gosha Village.

As they fly over to their destination, the masked woman watches them as they flew.

'He's full of surprises, no doubt that Asuka told me about him.' She thought, 'I wonder if he starting his harem or that they're trying to get their hands on his him.'

She went back to the HQ to report her encounters with the Monster Prince.

Upon their arrival, the Monster Prince and the Oni swordswoman flies and teleported inside the academy so they cannot be seen. As they went inside the academy, they notice the school looks empty as if the students was dismissed early.

'Strange, where'd everybody go?' He thought.

He smelled and followed the scent as they made their way to the teacher's lounging room. When they reached the room, they found Asagi there. Sakura, Ingrid, and Murasaki is there as well. Surprisingly, Shiranui and her daughter, Akiyama siblings is here as well with Jet Jaguar.

"What's going on? Did the school closed early already?" He asked.

"I had to close the school early after what you told me earlier." Asagi said.

"She told us that we were being branded as a traitor and you as a criminal." Sakura said.

"Why would the president blame us? What did we do?" Murasaki said, angrily.

"Apparently, Mr. Nonomura told me that I was accused of killing Munechi and Shin." He answered, shocked them. "Along with laying waste Chinese Union and others."

"What?! But you didn't just kill them, you just did what you thought was right to kill them." Rinko said. "Besides, those bastards deserves it."

"I know. They didn't know that they were conspiring with the demons few years ago and it really disgusted me."

"But you did find my mama when she went missing and you found me and Rinko." Yukikaze argued.

"That's right. You help me reunite with my daughter after you save me from Ryuuji." Shiranui nodded. "Even though I was recovering my mind, you still make that promise with me."

"Yeah, don't forget that it was you who made me realize that I shouldn't run away and shouldn't have given up hope when I see you and those giant monsters." Tatsurou said.

"While I'm grateful to you, we seemed to have more problems." Kenji explained. "There's a good chance that this village will be under attacked and this Asai person will deploy Kanda Brigade, the military forces that specialized in raiding, murdering, and raping."

The others was shocked to hear that the president is using them to attack the Gosha village.

"But how did you know that?" Asagi asked.

"There is… someone from this USF. A woman wearing a mask told me about it and they've been watching me as I went around Japan while hunting Edwin Black."

"Who was she?" Sakura asked.

"I don't know. She's smelled like a Taimanin and her voice sounded familiar somehow."

"Then who is it?"

"Never mind that. I have a plan and it involves the rest of you and… some walking disasters."

"A walking disaster?" Ingrid said before realizing. "Wait, you don't mean…?"

"Yes, the prime minister and the Kanda Brigade remains unaware that the Titans came from me, probably thinking that Godzilla and the monsters are just... ghost. Meanwhile, I will go see this prime minister and have few words with him."

"But how? Everyone will still think that you're a criminal." Murasaki said, "You're not planning on killing them, are you?"

Kenji growled at that thought of killing Asai and those who agrees with him.

"That's the idea. Which is why I'm going there to kill them for their reckless decision they made and that incorporate mercenary that they hired while the lot of you stay and defend this village with some titanic assistants. Any questions you liked to ask?"

The Taimanins didn't say anything and silently agree with him; even Jet Jaguar nodded in agreement.

"Good. Where's the map of this village?" Kenji requested.

"Right here." Sakura brings a map to him and lays it on the table.

"Okay, this village is right here and I suspected that…"

The group gathers around as the Monster Prince explained the plan to counteract the Kanda Brigade's raid.

As the suns sets on the horizon, Gosha Village was quiet and the houses and shops is empty as if the villagers is evacuated to a safe place and Kenji is standing in the middle of the street from few feet away from the entrance.

"For a man who died a long time ago, I'm impressed that you planned it well." He looked to see Asagi is walking towards him.

"I thought I told you and the others to stay in positions." He said. "And yes, in the movie, there was a giant monster attack and the innocent civilians was told to evacuate away from the area to a safe distance."

"I see."

They looked at the entrance, waiting for the soldiers to come.

"Kenji, do you remember the first time you rescue me?" She asked.

"Yes, how could I forget?"

"Ever since I was retired after I kill Oboro, I thought I was done being a Taimanin so I could be with… Kyousuke…"

The Monster Prince understood that Asagi still missed her lover after he saved her.

"If it weren't for you, I would've been captured and being used for her twisted amusement."

"Like I said before, I was only hunting and killing the demons." He said, "Besides, he asked me to end his life before Oboro used him to hurt us."

"I know. You did what you could." She paused for a minute. "Also, I just wanted to thank you for everything you've done for us. We owe it to you."

"Just doing what I always do. Killing all the demons until there's nothing left but to restore the way Japan was before."

"Kenji…" Asagi looked at his reptilian eyes as Kenji looks at her.

Lost in their thoughts, Asagi lift his mask up to see his jagged jaws and moves closer to his face as he did. Before their lips are close, the snake-like Terror-Beast, armed with gauntlet claws, emerged from Asagi's shadow.

"What is it?" He asked.

The Terror-Beast called, Oborahzan, hissed and reported that the army is getting closer as Needlar, Jikiro, Destro-King, and Wargilar appeared from the shadows and reported that more soldiers is surrounding the area.

"Just as a thought." He said, "Now all of you, head back to your positions. Tell them to get ready."

The Terror-Beasts vanished in the shadows.

'That snake creature. It almost felt like…" She thought.

"Asagi, get to your positions and tell the others to get ready." Kenji said, snapping her thought.

"Right. But what about you?"

"I'm going to give them… a nice evening welcoming."

"Fine, be careful." Asagi turned, not before turned to the Monster Prince. "Kenji…"

"What?"

"Nothing?"

The Taimanin commander vanished as Kenji steps in the shadows.

As Kenji blends in the shadow, he sees the soldiers wearing the army uniform and armed with rifles and behind them was an armored soldiers with cannon on their shoulder as they checked around the houses.

'Like pigs to the slaughter!' He mused.

"Major, there's no one here."

"We checked the other district. There's no one there as well."

"They must have evacuated as if they knew we were coming."

"Fuck! How the hell did they go!?" Major Kanda cursed. "Where is everybody!?"

"Major, let's go check the academy. They might be hiding there."

"All units, head to the academy!" He ordered.

As they head to the academy, they stopped to Kenji, in his human form, when he steps out of the shadows.

"Going somewhere?" They see a man standing a few feet in front of them.

"So, you're the one that causes much trouble in Japan? You just make us look bad and you're not what we expected."

"That is not your concern. Cease your raid and leave this village immediately." He demanded.

Major Kanda laughed, hilariously.

"Like I take orders from one man in this village. We saw you and that Taimanin almost kissed. After we kill you and take over this village, we get to fuck your harem!"

"Please, I implore you to leave this village or bad things will come for you."

"Like I care what you said. Open fire!"

Major Kanda and his troops open fire at Kenji. When the bullets reached him, it went right through him.

"What the…!?"

They ceases fire as Kenji turns out he was a hologram.

"You're all going to die here!" Kenji said before vanishing in pixel dust.

Major Kanda and his troops was left baffled by his warning.

"Major, come in! There's something coming out of the shadow! It's-"

"Captain Konou? What happened?" He only gets static feedback from him. "Hello?"

He turns to his troops.

"All units, move in. Kill or capture those bitches!"

Suddenly, something tackled him and lifted him up in the night.

"Major!"

As they look up, the ground is starting to shake.

"Look, what the hell is that?!" The soldiers pointed at something is galloping towards them.

"GRAAHHHH!" Kong roared as it gallops to them and swat them away.

"It's a giant ape!"

"Oh my god!"

"GREEEONNNGRRK!" They turned to see the large therapod dinosaur, Gorosaurus, roaring at them.

"A dinosaur?!"

"Now!" Asagi, Sakura, and Murasaki jumps out of the shadows and start attacking the soldiers.

"Koujinka!" Asagi disappeared in a flash and slice them down to size.

"Ninja Art: Shadow Teleportation!" Sakura teleport through their shadows and appeared behind them before the soldiers was dropped dead.

She sees more soldiers is coming, but Murasaki jumps in and swings her giant axe down to the ground, creating a massive shockwave that wipes out the soldiers.

"Is that all of it?" She said.

"Watch out, there's more of them!" Asagi said

They see more armored soldiers coming out of entrance until a blue stream of light annihilates them.

"Godzilla!" Murasaki gasped.

"SKREEEEONGK!" It roared.

"HHHRREEEEKK!" They turned to see the eight-armed demon statue, Shivamajin with armored soldiers in its hands and crushes them.

"So this was his plan after all?" Sakura said.

"Yes, as if he knew that they would come here." Asagi said.

They heard a numerous loud roar in the distance and saw Jet Jaguar grew into monster size as Mothra, in her imago form, flies around the village while the metal version of Godzilla stood on the hills, Kiryu is the one projecting the hologram.

In the east side of the Gosha Village, Rinko and Shiranui is battling against another brigade units and Raiden with the help of Rodan, Angurius, and King Caesar.

"It's been so long since I was called back." Shiranui said, conjuring her water ninja arts.

"It's good to have you back after all those years." Rinko said as she sliced two soldiers.

"KRRREEEE!" Rodan squawked while flapping its wing, creating heavy gust of winds and blowing the soldiers away as Anguirus rolled over the Raidens by curling into a ball of spikes.

"GRAARRRNNNGR!" King Caesar roared, scaring the soldiers away and shot Prism Eye at them.

The west side of the Gosha Village was dealt by Ingrid, with the help by some Terror-Beasts and Zilla, Baragon, Varan, and Titanosaurus. The soldiers was burnt by her black flames due to her being a demon.

"You lowly scums cannot destroy this village!" She frowned as Baragon breathed Heat Beam at them. "I owe it to the Monster Prince himself."

"RUTAAAAAAAWWRRR!" Titanosaurus bellowed, opened its tail and swings it, fanning the remaining soldiers away.

Zilla is devouring the soldiers while Varan chases them.

At the south side of the village, Sokushitsuki and the two insect Kaiju, Kumonga and Kamacuras, is dealing another Kanda Brigade Unit.

"Fufufu, you're like a moths trapped in the spider web." She sniggered, slicing them away as Kamacuras jabbed its claws at the trapped soldiers. "I promised my master that we're gonna have a child when this is all over."

"SHI-CHAH! SHI-CHAH!" Kumonga chirped as it spewed the webs at the soldiers.

Somewhere on the mountain trails, Tatsurou and Yukikaze was told to escort and guard the villagers as they fend off the soldiers as they could with Jet Jaguar's help.

"How many more of them?" He said as he took cover behind the trees. "They just keep coming."

Yukikaze shoots her lightning bullets at three soldiers. The soldier aimed his rifles at her, Tatsurou jumps down and cuts him down before he shoots her while the Terror-Beasts is killing off more soldiers.

"I can't believe they would betray us and attack our village." Yukikaze tched.

"XXKKIIIIRRR!" They heard a sound and saw Gezora, who held the screaming soldiers by tentacles.

"A giant squid on land!?"

They heard two more roars.

"Look, there's two more!" Tatsurou pointing at two Kaiju, making his girlfriend looked at them.

"KUAAACCHHH!" Kamoebas chirped as the giant crab, Ganimes, is chasing the soldiers.

In the village, the soldiers was hiding in the ally as he cowering fear of the Kaiju.

"Hello, sir. We are ambushed and we're suffering a lot of casualties! And we-AHHHH!" He called the prime minister before grabbed by Gaira as he screams and dropped the phone, ate him up while his brother, Sanda is chasing the soldiers away with Ebirah and Manda kills the Raiden.

Up at the sky, Kenji, in his monster form, held Major Kanda in the sky and makes him watch.

"No…! Gojira…" He whimpered as the Taimanins and Titans is annihilating his unit.

"And you call yourself an elite mercenary that your higher ups who hired you." Kenji snarled. "I thought you were trained to protect this country."

"Please, Please! Just stop! Stop!" He begged. "Just call them off! I'll do anything!"

"Sorry, as I said before; you're all gonna die here."

Kenji then held his head up in the air.

"No, no, what are you doing!?"

"All I want is your head as a messenger to the higher-ups." Kenji raised his katana and sliced his head off as the body was falling down to the ground.

The Monster Prince flies over to the government HQ as the Kaiju is standing around, looking for any sign of the soldiers while the Taimains and Terror-Beasts is searching around.

At the boarding room, they listen to the recording calls from the Kanda Brigade.

"Hello, sir. We are ambushed and we're suffering a lot of casualties! And we-AHHHH!"

Then they heard Godzilla's roar, along with other roars as well.

"That decision of yours lead your mercenary to death in the hands of that masked stranger and the Taimanins."

As they were discussing, Kenji and the tiger-like Terror-Beast, Tigahrah, and panda-like Terror-Beast, Pandaran is eavesdropping the conversation. Kenji notice the scent that smelled familiar coming from this scent, but shrugged it off.

"Damn it, you didn't tell us the Godzilla and the monsters appeared in the Gosha Village!"

"I don't understand! How did they know the brigade that we sent is coming for them?!"

"What the hell is going on there?"

While they argue further, the head was thrown at the table and the officials was shocked and shrieked that the head is Major Kanda before the lights and power went out.

"Who turned out the light?!"

Before they say anything, something rushed by them and squelching sound. The lights was shined on the corpse of the officials as Tigahrah stood on them with blood dripping from its sharp claws while Kenji stabs the prime minister in the chest and sliced his throat. He looked to see the bright light is dimmed from the optics and drill for a nose, MOGUERA.

"Let's go." He said without a remorse.

As they did, he heard a sound and turned to see the prime minister, Asai, is getting back up as the wound is healing.

'What the hell...' He thought before smelling the familiar scent. 'That smell… it can't be…!'

Asai was changed into… Edwin Black.

"Not very subtle as always, Kenji." He frowned while adjusting his clothes.

"You!" Kenji snarled, remembering Edwin shot him through his heart back in the Chaos Arena. "I should've known that you've been hiding here this whole time! All this time, this genocidal decision was made by you?!"

"You have no idea how long been planning until you and those colossal animals came and ruined everything!"

"Ten years of hunting you and those demonic bastards around the Japan wasted until you here of all the location I've yet to break in!? There's nowhere for you to run from me, Edwin Black!"

"I don't plan on running away from you, Kenji Saegusa." Edwin glowered at him. "If you want to kill me so badly, then come to the Palace of Darkness in the Yomihara. Don't be late for the finale."

Kenji responded by throwing his guandao at him, but Edwin disappeared before it reaches him. The Monster Prince breathed, heavily while feeling angry at the same time before turning to Tigahrah and Pandaran.

"You, rally my minions and tell them to converge to the Yomihara." He instructed it.

The Terror-Beast duo fled in the shadows as Kenji retrieves his guandao and flew out the window. Kenji programed MOGUERA to demolish the HQ. As it finished the demolition on the HQ, it flew over to Gosha Village while Kenji heads to Yomihara to settle the score with vampire demon.
