This was a fic I wrote for my friend Pinkie as a Secret Santa gift in a discord server back in 2021. I'll admit, I haven't seen Hetalia since I was in high school. I think I got Italy's and Germany's personalities down though haha.

Merry Christmas, Pinkie!

"Buon Compleanno, mio figlio," Feliciano walked in with a big smile on his face. His son sat up in bed, rubbing the sleep out of his eyes. "Get dressed and come downstairs, we have something for you."

Emilio yawned and threw the covers off of himself. "I'm coming," he said sleepily as his father closed the door. A small smile made its way onto his sleepy face as he looked out the window. The sun was shining brightly and the birds chirped away.

He headed over to his closet and picked out a simple outfit. It was made up of an orange shirt and a pair of blue jeans. After quickly brushing his hair and teeth, he finally headed downstairs to see what his dads had in store for him.

As soon as he stepped into the kitchen, he was quickly greeted by his other father. "Alles Gute zum Geburtstag, sohn!" Ludwig gave Emilio a hug, which made the boy break into a fit of giggles.

"Danke schon,Dad!" He was let go from his grip and smiled brightly as he looked around at all the birthday decorations that covered the room. Streamers hung on the walls all the way around and a large cake sat on a stand in the middle of the table. "Wow, this is amazing!"

"We're glad you like it, honey," said Feliciano as he wrapped his arm around his husband before looking at him. "Can we tell him now?"

Ludwig nodded as Emilio looked on at them curiously. "So for your birthday this year, we decided to get you something different as a present." He walked over to the table and grabbed three tickets out of his bag. "Your father saw online that there's a superhero convention going on this weekend and-"

"Cat Noir is going to be there!"

Emilio's eyes grew as wide as saucers and he gasped. "Really?! The real life Cat Noir?!" His voice became shrill as the excitement bubbled up inside of him.

"Yes, the real life one!" Said Feliciano. "He will be there tomorrow, which is perfect so that we can have your party today."

The little boy ran up and hugged his parents. "Thank you, thank you so much! It's going to be the best day ever!"

Emilio made sure that they all arrived at the convention center a few hours early. Cat Noir wasn't scheduled to be there until later in the day, but he wanted to spend as much time there as possible.

The hall was filled with people bustling around. There were booths filled with merchants selling comic books and fans selling their own creations. One section was specifically set up for special appearances by actual superheroes.

"Look, there he is!" Emilio pointed to a giant sign that showcased Cat Noir's appearance at the convention. It featured a collage made up of images of the hero, along with a portrait of him smiling and posing like a cat. "I still can't believe I get to meet him!"

Ludwig ruffled his son's hair. "Want to go look around for a bit while we wait?"

The small boy nodded before taking off towards a nearby booth selling superhero action figures. His dads laughed as they happily chased after him.

Time flew by as they walked around the convention center, checking out the various merchandise being sold in every booth. It wasn't long before they made their way to the stand in which Cat Noir would be arriving to very soon.

The line was already backed up into another section, but little Emilio was still so excited. He bounced up and down on his heels, smiling happily at the passerby as he waited his turn.

"Oh, don't forget to put these on," Feliciano reached into his bag and pulled out a pair of cat ears. "Now he will truly see how big of a fan you are."

"Thanks, Dad!" The boy smiled ear to ear as he slid the pair of ears onto his head.

What seemed like hours turned into minutes as the line became shorter and shorter. It wasn't long before they could look forward and get a glimpse of the superhero.

"Look! There he is!" Emilio yelled excitedly. He jumped up and down and clapped his hands as they moved up in the line.

After what felt like hours, he was next in line to meet his idol.

"Here ya go, have a nice day!" Cat Noir smiled as he handed an autographed print to a fan before welcoming Emilio next. "Hi there, what's your name, little guy?"

Emilio's eyes widened as he stood before his all time favorite superhero. "My name is Emilio!" He said, nearly falling over with excitement as he reached the table. "I'm so happy to meet you!"

The superhero smiled brightly at the little boy. "I'm happy to meet you too, Emilio," he gestured towards all the various items laying on the table. "What would you like?"

Emilio looked up at his dads, who immediately knew what he was going to ask.

"You can have anything you want," Ludwig told him. "Go ahead."

Emilio's bright smile returned to his face as he got up closer to the table. "I want an autograph and can we take a picture together?"

"Of course!" Cat Noir said happily as he grabbed a print to sign. "Anything special you want it to say?"

"It's my birthday present!" He told him. "And I like your accent."

The French boy laughed at his comment. "Merci, that means 'thank you'," he grabbed a pen and signed the print for him. "Happy birthday, little dude."

Emilio gasped in awe as he grabbed his autographed print from the superhero. "I love it, thank you so much!" He began to leave, but was stopped by Cat Noir.

"Didn't you want a photo, too?" He asked.

"Oh! Yes!" He ran back over just in time to see the superhero come out from behind the table. His dads pulled out their cameras, ready to snap a photo of the boys.

Cat Noir knelt down to Emilio's height and they wrapped their arms around each other. "Say meow!"

"Meow!", he yelled out and laughed as his fathers took photos on their respective phones.

"It was a pleasure to meet you, Emilio," Cat Noir reached out to shake the little boy's hand. "You'll have to come visit me in Paris sometime."

"Maybe for my next birthday," he said with a smile. "Goodbye, Cat Noir!"

"See ya later!", he waved to the small family as they began to walk off.

For the rest of the convention, Emilio never stopped staring at his autographed print of Cat Noir. His fathers looked at each other in admiration as they made their way to the exit. As soon as they got outside, though, their son stopped them with a hug on their waists.

"Thank you, thank you so much!" He said with tears in his eyes. "This was the absolute best birthday ever! And you're the best dads ever!"

The men knelt down to envelop their son in a hug. "You're very welcome, we love you," they both said together.

"I love you, too!"

And as Emilio grew older, that was a moment he would never truly forget.
