Mirage was just about ready to throw in the towel waiting for his mate when he received the call from Ironhide. "Mirage, here, how can I help you?" Mirage responded over the comm.
"Optimus isn't acting right. I was trying to bring him back home but something didn't seem right, so I brought him to the med bay. Now he is irate and about ready to throw things. For all of Ratchet's and my sanity, would you please head to the med bay before things get out of hand" Ironhide asked, in a way only Mirage or Optimsu would know was to be pleading.
"On my way" Mirage stated before signing off. He commed a few minibots to watch the precious sparklings before heading out. He could only hope that his presence would calm the Prime down and not rile the bot up more than he already seemed to be.
Meanwhile, in the med bay, Optimus was acting out of sorts and out of hand. He was in pain and his systems were acting all whacked out. "I can see why you brought him in, but I can't get near him" Ratchet replied, having tried to approach the Prime but unable to safely calm down the bot.
"Yeah, he was just in Iacon. Not sure why he was up there, but as we started heading back to his quarters, he started going nuts. I brought him here. I have contacted Mirage, his mate. I hope that Mirage can help fix this mess" Ironhide stated.
"You and me both. I dare not try to sedate him since he is heavily sparked. And with him having that viral problem at the start of all of this, it may make everything worse compared to letting him blow off steam as it were" Ratchet replied. Optimus wasn't making this easy at all, and he was starting to throw items as his systems were that out of whack.
It wasn't too long after that the Mirage made it to what passed for a med bay. Even Mirage was stunned by how his mate was acting. He shot a look at Hide and Ratchet. The look they shot back told Mirage little to nothing about what might be going on. Mirage didn't like this, but fearing that his mate would react worse if approached, Mirage sent pulses out between their spark bond, hoping that they would help calm the bot down.
