Despite everything that happened Morro missed the monastery.

Hear him out, is not because of Wu, of course not, not because of the other students or even the fact that he had a warm place guaranteed with food and all the basic necessities.

That's not the reason, well, not completely.

Morro had always liked the monastery because of how high it was.

Yeah, it was hell to climb those stupid stairs, especially considering he had always had very poor stamina, but once you were at the top? There's nothing else like it.

It towered over Ninjago and even over some mountains around it. It was high enough that one could see the birds constantly fly around, to touch the clouds, close the eyes and feel the wind gushing around.

He loved it.

If he ever took a nap on the roof… it felt like flying, or well.. close to it.

If there's anything he misses is that, the freedom one could feel at the very top of the monastery, it was as if it was an open cage, it felt quite oppressive inside, at least in his opinion, but was home, a small place on where to rest whenever the world around became too much, but the door was always open, one could extend its wings and fly away, come back or not.

That's how it felt for him… and he missed it.

No matter how many trees or mountains he climbed, he couldn't get the same feeling, the air around felt dangerous, sharp, as if it he were to let go and fall the wind wouldn't catch him, on the contrary, he would be left alone to float as if he were a loose leaf on the cold winds of autumn.

But he keeps on moving, following the wind currents that are always swirling around, he has nothing else to follow.

By the sixth month of his travel, specifically on one of those days where everything goes wrong no matter what Morro finds himself pathetically hiding on a cliffside, besides an abandoned crumbling nest of some big bird Morro decides his elemental affinity is a curse, the wind doesn't do much to keep him warm, on the contrary, every gush makes him colder and colder and there's nothing he can do about it, is not like he can fly away, not with this wind, he hasn't really extended his wings ever since he left the monastery.

He curls in himself more and curses the wind around him.

Morro ignores the wind, or he tries to, the wind brings him bad memories and most of the time it does everything he doesn't want, if he wants to go north the wind will bring him to the south, the wind is wild, unforgiving and untamable just like Morro and he hates it.

At long last, if the wind doesn't want to cooperate that's fine, because he will stop being the elemental of wind to become the green ninja and then, then he won't need to worry about the wind anymore.

Is not until he finds himself trapped underground, caged between rocky walls as lava starts to rise closer and closer, with no escape in sight, no wind, that he hopes to be able to feel the wind one last time.

To rest on the monastery roof frolicking around with the gushes of wind around him, extending his arms as if he's flying.

But there's no wind here and without wind his wings are useless.

So he closes his eyes.

Euphrasia has always loved her home, the Cloud Kingdom.

Is the place where she grew up so how could she not? Is where all her family and friends are, is where she has made her life so far and where she hopes to continue making it here.

Sure she hasn't really traveled but she doesn't think she needs it, living here just feels enough, good things, bad things, is just… her home.

Her favourite thing around the place is how free it feels, they live in literal clouds! In the sky! It makes her feel free.

If she were to have wings she would definitely pass a lot of her times flying around, she just knows it.

But that's not an option, not really, so she really just enjoys strolling around, getting a bit too close to the edge so she can feel the wind hit her face, run around and extend her arm.

Sometimes she would just.. sit, feet dangling, kicking as a warm breeze would be felt around.

The wind around just makes it feel more alive if you were to ask her.

When the merge happens… her world is turned upside down, just a tiny little bit.

Turns out the archives, her main location has ended up completely separated from the rest, at least true to their name they know where the rest are and would probably be able to reach them with a flying boat, it's fine.

Some are days of travel, but let's not think too much about it, at least she's still with her family and friends, is not that bad.

And… well.. she has discovered some things.

Alright some she might've been running around recklessly when she fell, and well, considering her realm was now merged with everyone else… yeah that wasn't a good thing.

What's most surprising is that she's able to catch herself.

Somehow she… flew… or levitated… or something...

And the wind around her reacted accordingly. At first it is scary, because she is completely sure she couldn't do this before the merge.

But now she can, if she closes her eyes she can hear the wind murmuring to her, breezes constantly passing around whenever she's in.

Is difficult to ignore, she tries, she really does because as far as she can remember there hasn't been an elemental master among the monks of Cloud Kingdom.

But the wind is wild, loud, is part of her now and she can't ignore it forever.
