It had been a couple of years since Akria and Izuku had met and became friends. They were now both thirteen years old and they were almost nearing the end of their second year of junior high.

Akria looked over at the green haired boy who was busy scribbling something on his notebook.

"Taking notes again?"

"Yep!"

"I finally got around and did some notes you, akria!"

"Well it better be something good."

Before Izuku could talk, a milk carton was thrown towards their direction but thankfully, akria caught it just in time before it made any impact.

"Well, look at what we have here."

An irritable yet familiar voice called out as the pair looked over at the source to see none other than bakugo who was followed by 2 of his friends.

"Katsuki.."

"That's bakugo to you."

Akria tilted his head at bakugo with a fake smile as izuku rolled his eyes at the spiky ash blonde. "C'mon man, we've known each other for a couple of years! How about we chill with the hostility?

"And become friends with you freaks?" One of bakugo's "friends" asked before laughing a bit.

"And how exactly is akria a "freak"?" izuku asked looking at the black haired boy. It wasn't a secret that akria was a hybrid. His hair was a dark brown, his skin was brown and his right iris was orange.

"If you're calling akria a "freak" for being a hybrid then that wouldn't look good on your part." Izuku stated as bakugo, who gave his "friend" a look.

"well.. n-no that's not what i mea-" the black haired boy felt the wind getting knocked out of him as bakugo elbowed him in the stomach causing akria and izuku to flinch slightly.

"I told you to let ME do the talking." Bakugo muttered as the black haired boy was leaning on his other friend for support.

"jeez katuski..." akria muttered under his breath as bakugo snapped his head at him. "Don't give me that shit! I heard that the two of you are planning on joining UA!"

Both akria and izuku went slightly wide eyed. Bakugo looked at the two before opening his mouth. "Listen you two and listen good."

Bakugo pointed at izuku.

"You're nothing more than a quirkless nobody who's future is to flip burgers for other nobodies who suck at life!"

Bakugo turned to akria who was about to say something until bakugo beat it to him.

"And you're a idiotic dumbass who's wasting his time and Potential hanging out with this loser!" Bakugo gestured towards izuku who was gritting his teeth.

Bakugo then turned to his side, giving the two boys a look. "And the two of you are lucky to have each other because neither of two will make any friends!"

Bakugo turned to look walk away but until he was out of ear shot, akria had to get the last word out.

"And you think YOU have any real friends?"

Bakugo stopped until continuing to walk followed by his two "friends". "Bakugo... man, my stomach hurts.." The Black haired boy groaned as the other one gave him a sympathetic look.

"Oh walk it the fuck off."

"Dude you don't have listen to him."

The bell had rung for the end of the school day. The two boys were hanging out in their treehouse the two had made when they were 11.

"What if he's right though?"

"He's not! Dude you're not "wasting my time" or "my potential"... You're my friend!"

Akria was genuinely telling the truth. Izuku was the little brother akria always wanted but due to bakugo and his loud mouth, izuku always had doubts.

"why I'm i the little brother?" Izuku asked looking confused and a little offended.

"well i am a little older than you"

"yeah by 7 months."

Both izuku and akria looked at each other before laughing a little. Nothing like good ol bickering to lighten the mood.

After an hour or two, the two boys realized that it was almost dinner time. They climbed down the ladder.

"I'll walk you home."

"You don't think I'll walk by myself"

Akria looked at izuku blankly. "Didn't you get chased by that dog a month ago?"

"oh come on! That was one time!"

"Pretty sure i seen that thing looking at you through it's gate."

Izuku seemed anxious now as he groaned and looked at akria.

"Alright... fine."

"I'll walk upstairs by myself"

The two finally showed up to izuku's apartment. Izuku began to ascend the stairs but stopped to look at akria.

"you sure you don't wanna join me and my mom? You're pretty far from home."

"Nah it's fine. I'll just portal myself home." Akria reassured as izuku tilted his head and raised his eyebrow.

"You've mastered it completely?"

"Yep! So don't worry bout me, izu."

Izuku hesitanted before nodding. "Oh and one last thing..."

Akria turned to izuku who's eyes were starting to become wet with tears.

"Thank you for being my friend..."

Before akria could say anything in response, Izuku walked upstairs leaving akria there to ponder what to do next.

He pulled out his phone and began walking towards his home.

He called a number as he waited for the other end to answer. After a second, a voice was heard on the other end.

"Ah! akria, my boy! How have you been?"

"just fine... hey i got something to ask you."

The other end sounded a little intrigued as akria sighed a bit.

"are you.. still looking for a successor?"
