New Members, Corrupt Marines, & Tangerines
A few days had gone by since Naruto, Hanabi and Shinobu had set sail. Currently Shinobu and Naruto were having a light spar while Hanabi was relaxing back on the Hanahime. They were currently on Dover island looking to pick up some supplies in preparation for their journey throughout the East Blue Sea.
Hanabi was sitting on figurehead with a notebook while see was drawing jolly roger designs for their crew.
On the beach nearby Naruto and Shinobu were locked in combat.
"Even though you don't have a sword you have not been slacking on your training." Shinobu complimented as they blades were locked together as she attempted to hold Naruto at bay.
'He is still monstrously strong,' Shinobu thought as she was holding back Naruto's crystalized sabre.
Quickly disengaging from their blade lock up, Shinobu shifted her body to the left letting Naruto's blade sail by her before smashing into the ground kicking up a whole lot of sand obscuring each warriors vision.
Acting on the opening Shinobu leapt over where she knew where her captain was. With his back towards her Shinobu thrusted her blade forward.
"I don't think so," Naruto called out, as he spans round deflected the thrust with his blade, before swiping at Shinobu dodged once more.
Putting some distance between them Shinobu gave a small smile. This reminded her when she was a child sparring against Naruto back then.
"Somethings never change eh Naruto," Shinobu called out.
"Whatever chibi," Naruto responded with a large smile.
'She has only gotten faster over these years man. I'm so lucky," Naruto cheered in his own head.
"Why you," Shinobu called out before rearing her sword arm back and shooting forward several jabs with her bladed which sent forth purple arrow looking energy projectiles towards her captains' position.
"Hornets Dance: Sokusha Sasu," Shinobu said as she announced her technique.
"Oh shit," Naruto called out as he saw the projectiles heading his way.
'That is a lot faster than the last time I saw her use this move,' Naruto thought to himself. Back when she first used that move in a spar back in the day, she could send three to five projectiles but now Naruto was looking at least fifteen to twenty ranged attacks heading his way fast.
"I can't dodge this fine I will take on head on," Naruto declared as he had gone into a Iaijutsu stance with his sword at the ready even though he had no sheath
Naruto closed his eyes and inhaled deeply.
The projectiles moved closer.
'It has been a while huh,' Naruto thought to himself before summoning his energy and as the air began to get warmer and sparks of electricity began to flare up around him.
Shinobu noticed that the hairs on her head were beginning to stand up from the static in the air.
Naruto exhaled a deep breath.
The rest of the world was silent as crimson lightning danced across Naruto's skin.
Just as the projectiles reached Naruto, he appeared to be a blur to anyone who was not considered superhuman. The projectiles were either deflected elsewhere or slashed through by Naruto's blade.
After a few moments Naruto's lightning died down and his crystallised sabre shattered into pieces.
"Well looks like you win," Naruto called out with a smile on his face.
"Baka! Baka! Baka!" Shinobu shouted before huffing and pouted she hated winning their spars like this.
"Hey, it's not my fault my electro is mega strong," Naruto defended as it didn't matter what weapon he had be it steel or his devil fruit abilities his electro either shattered the crystal weapons on his person or melted the any metal to slag.
"You need to find a quality blade not just some any old junk you can pick up at the store." Shinobu responded.
"I will, when I find the right sword," Naruto nodded.
"Do you think you're ready for Sawtooth?" Shinobu asked as she sheathed her blade.
"Yup, I do hope he is strong I mean if the rumours are true, he fought along side Fisher Tiger. And there is no way he had weaklings on his crew."
Naruto and Hanabi always heard tales of Fisher Tiger freeing slaves and sticking it to the world government.
Shinobu noted that the sun was setting and was feeling quite hunger after their spar.
"Should go and grab Hanabi and get a bite in town?" Shinobu asked.
"Yup. Just give me one second," Naruto nodded.
"Keshō Keshō no Crystalline Toguchi," Naruto announced before creating a human sized violet crystal mirror in front of him before closing his eyes and focusing on Hanabi as his reflection in the mirror began to flicker to show Hanabi with her back to the mirror.
Back on the Hanahime Hanabi was chilling on the figurehead sketching away at possible designs for their future jolly roger.
"Hmm," Hanabi hummed as she heard crystals forming behind her.
As she turned around, she saw a violet coloured human sized mirror formed and her form begin to flicker in the reflection, before it changed to her closest friend.
Naruto began to step through the mirror while pulling Shinobu through.
"You two back from your little romantic get away," Hanabi teased.
Shinobu flushed red at the insinuation.
"We were sparring, and you know it," Shinobu snapped.
Hanabi and Naruto just snickered.
"Shinobu is a tsun tsun," Hanabi teased some more.
"Come on girls we are going into town tonight we are going to grab a bite in town tonight and then set sail tomorrow for Conomi island."
A little later on Naruto, Shinobu and Hanabi were having a good time with the locals at the tavern drinking, eating and were all having a good time. Naruto was flirting with the blonde bar maid who was the apparent daughter of the owner of the tavern they were in.
"So, Naruto was it? What are you doing and your friends doing in town are you sailors?" the bar maid asked as she poured the ruggedly handsome man some more rum and placed a small bowl of ramen down in front of him.
"Thank you," Naruto thanked the woman refilling his drink before glancing down the beautiful woman's top slightly as she leant over to pour his drink and placed his meal down in front of him.
"We are not just sailors we are pirate's," Naruto declared much to the shock of the locals, who suddenly went quiet.
"Well that can't be right, you're not anything like pirates I've heard about. I mean you're a bit of a flirt but not badly mannered or anything like what a pirate should be like." The woman responded calmly.
"Well our teacher had literally beat manners into my head but that doesn't make any less of a pirate."
"Well I suppose not. Tell me, what's your goal."
"Well I'm Uzumaki Naruto, the future King of the pirates." Naruto fully introduced himself before going back to his ramen.
Not a sound was made after that declaration. The silence was almost unbearable until the bar maid burst out laughing.
"Get real, you're a brat like me. You believe you are going to become the king," the bar maid said.
"Yup," Naruto stated simply as he locked eyes with the bar maid.
After a few moments the barmaid broke eye contact.
"You have guts, I'll give you that. I, can see the determination in your eyes. But I gotta wonder if you really got what it takes." Another blonde who was also behind the bar spoke up.
"Well my crew is small for now, but I got a ship, so we are heading to the Grandline to have the adventure of a lifetime, and nothing is gonna stop from reaching the top." Naruto finished talking as he reached for his drink.
The tavern was stunned into silence.
'That conviction, he more than just thinks he will reach the top. He fully believes it like his life could not end up any other way.' The older Barmaid thought herself, but before she could say anything else the doors to her tavern swung open violently.
Several mountain bandits strolled in with grins on their face. The two largest stepped forward.
"Woman, we want drink now. My men are thirsty," the obvious leader demanded.
Naruto glanced over his shoulder to see several guys now entering the tavern with too tall men leading the pack.
Hanabi and Shinobu glanced over at the newcomers watching the interaction.
Before the bar owner could respond there was a sudden slurping noise cutting through tension in the room and drawing the attention of the bandits.
Hanabi just face palmed while Shinobu giggled as they looked towards their captain as he was back at slurping the broth of his ramen.
The barmaid was surprised that Naruto
"Who's this rude lil' bastard," the loudmouth bandit shouted before pointing towards the blonde not paying him any attention.
Naruto was in his own little heaven as he finished drinking the broth of his dinner.
"Hey! My Brother is talking to you!" A tall bandit stepped forward shouting towards the blonde.
Naruto just ignored the world around as he released a blissful sigh.
"Grrrrr," the head bandit growled before stepping closer to the apparent unaware blonde and swung his fist aiming to smash through the bowl of food that was currently close to the blonde's face.
Off to the side both Shinobu and Hanabi eyes widened before they nodded to one another before vanishing in a burst of speed.
"What the?" The bandit who swung at Naruto had his fist blocked by a girl quarter of his size with her palm.
"Trust me bandit-san you don't want to do that," Hanabi stated calmly not even breaking a sweat
The bandit leader was about to draw his blade but was halted when he felt to the point of a blade lightly grazing his adams apple.
'When did?' the bandit leader thought as he attempted to glancing down only to lock eyes with a very short and dainty woman.
"You really don't want cause a scene now do you," Shinobu stated with a smile on her but the threat behind her words were clear for all to hear.
The atmosphere was so tense the local patrons were nervous as what going to happen, but anything else could happen the sound of a bowl being slammed onto a table rang out.
"This is so good. Did you make this heavenly bowl? Did ya?" Naruto said excitedly as leant over the bar and grasping the bar maids' hand.
"Y-yes I did," the bar maid blushed as the blonde pirate got a little too close.
"Then it is decided!" Naruto said before letting go of the bar maids' hands before striking a dramatic pose.
"You will join my crew and make me ramen every day," Naruto declared.
"What!" the bar maid shouted while many of the patrons sweat dropped at the scene before them almost completely forgetting about the tension from earlier.
"Ara our captain is certainly dramatic isn't he," Shinobu commented.
Hanabi just lightly shoved the bandits fist away which caused to fall on his arse, before turning around leaping up and kicking Naruto in the head sending into the nearest wall.
"Hey, ramen freak read the room," Hanabi stated not really annoyed at her captain.
As Naruto got up and dusted himself off as he looked around the room.
"Good grief, fine getting a cook will have to wait." Naruto before cracking his neck and turning to face the bandits.
"Shinobu play nice let the man breath and give him some space," Naruto said as he locked eyes with supposed bandit leader.
"Only because so nice captain," Shinobu responded before stepping away and sheathing her blade.
"Captain? Are you guys pirates?" the bandit who was knocked on his arse asked as he got up.
"Yup," Naruto responded popping the p.
"Ha, nothing but pansy ass pirates, brother we can take em and show em whose boss." The same bandit said as he received rallying cries from the rest of the men behind the bandit boss.
The bandit boss just nodded his head as his brother moving forward to attack the apparent captain of pirates.
"I can't be bothered to scrap with boys today I'm in a good mood and you should fight directly after a meal so Hanabi you want to take this one?" Naruto said before sitting back down to watch the carnage.
"Glady," Hanabi stepped up while Shinobu sat down next to her captain.
"Oh and no explosion, we don't want to destroy our future cooks' current home now do we."
"Oh man" Hanabi whined before her face made a small grin which came across as sweet.
Hanabi walked up to the bandit that was trying to cause trouble to begin with.
"So, your pussy of captain sends a bitch to fight his battles for him," the bandit ran his mouth chalking the fact that she blocked his punch was a fluke.
"Oh, he shouldn't have said that," Naruto muttered, while Shinobu winced.
Over hearing Naruto, the bar maid gained a curious look on her face.
"Have done what?" the bar maid asked before she was slightly unnerved from the look on Naruto's face.
"He called her a bitch, she hates being called that," Shinobu supplied.
Hanabi's smile hadn't changed one bit but for some reason everyone around could feel a deathly aura surrounding that girl.
Hanabi walked up even closer to the man showing that he dwarfed her frame. She craned her neck up to look at the smirking man's face.
"Die!" Hanabi said before stamping on the man's foot causing him to recoil.
"Argh you little bitch!" The bandit hopped onto his non injured foot.
"Die!" She shouted as she channelled her energy to her eyes causing veins to bulge around her temples.
Seeing all of her targets. Faster than anyone other than Naruto and Shinobu she struck before she launched into the bandits standing behind him sending the bandits back out of the front door and into a heap on the ground.
Naruto whistled his appreciation.
"Well damn you have certainly gotten faster firecracker-chan," Naruto teased.
"You would of known that if you would let me practice on you, like when were kids," Hanabi said before she stuck her tongue at Naruto before she returned her eyesight back to normal.
"Ha no way your little finger pokes hurt."
"What just happened?" The bar maid asked.
"I'm sorry but what is your name Shinobu asked politely.
"Oh umm, my name is Irina Mito," the bar maid introduced herself.
"Well Irina if you couldn't see that she hit him thirty plus times in the chest."
"No way," Irina said as her draw dropped with surprise at that statement.
Hanabi followed the dumbass bandits outside as they began to collect themselves and pick themselves up off of the floor.
The bandit she had struck was out cold, but the apparent leader of the bandits was furious that his younger brother had just been defeated as made his crew look bad.
"Dammit Kugo you are nothing but trash," the boss raged as he got up off of the floor.
"Losing to some little girl I'm ashamed of you," the boss turned to face his brother's assaulter.
"Listen here girlie, I'm worth 4 million Beri, you know what that means I'm super dangerous that the world fears me."
"Hey Hanabi, what's taking so long?" Naruto's voice rang out from within the tavern.
"He is monologuing," Hanabi shouted back.
"Screw that noise your outside now, so just blow them away," Naruto responded back.
"But Naruto he apparently is worth four million Beri."
"Nah not worth the effort carry his ass to the nearest marine base," Naruto said before pausing and turning towards Irina.
"Fine by me," Hanabi said before vanishing from the bandits before reappearing in front of them all before placing her hands in front of her.
"Nito Nito no Saishō Nenshō!" Hanabi declared before a massive explosion blasted the bandits back from whence, they came.
Pleased with her handy work Hanabi brushed down her clothes before turning around and heading back into the tavern.
East Blue Open Sea
A week had passed since the events that occurred on Dover island and Naruto was unsuccessful in convincing Irina to join his crew. Irina claimed she had to help out her father run the tavern as he was getting old, but Naruto did leave a violet crystal shard behind for her to use if she ever changed her mind to shatter it and he will come and get her.
Now out on the open sea the three rookie pirates were right in the middle of a battle with another pirate crew, with a large black and golden ship.
As cannon fire was going off from the large ship. Hanabi was at the helm of their newly acquired craft with her eyes activated, manoeuvring their home out of the way of cannon fire.
"Ok enough of this," Naruto said as a cannonball would have smashed into the mast if Shinobu hadn't deflected it.
Naruto crouched low and leaped high up into the sky. Once he reached optimal height, he raised his right arm taking aim at the enemy's ship before a dark blue crystal began to form around his arm forming a large sharp spear like crystal.
After the lance was formed Naruto created a small platform made of crystal beneath his feet to kick off of straight towards the enemy ship.
"Keshō Keshō no Piercing Lance," Naruto shouted as was mid-flight.
As Naruto shot down to the ship with frightening speed. So much speed, that when he landed the ship was almost torn in two. As the spear tore through the mast, straight though the ship and piercing the keel.
Naruto then pulled his arm out the crystal and looked at the damage he had caused. He could see a bunch of grown men running around with like headless chicks.
'Huh,' Naruto thought as he back flipped avoiding a beam like attack from behind.
"So, you're the captain of this crew are you," Naruto mocked as he turned to face the dark skinned, with wild red hair.
'He looks like a human cat,' Naruto thought as he got a better look at him.
"Grrr. You will pay for this with your life,"
"Will I? Do you think you can kitty cat?" Naruto continued to mock.
"I'll show you. my name is El Drago, and I'm worth 10 million beri. You're nothing, just a cocky no-name punk."
After he made his statement, he launched himself towards the blonde who had destroyed his ship. With his golden claws he swung one after the other.
'Why can't I hit this guy,' El Drago thought to himself
'Man, this guy is slow, like too slow for me to even consider using Haki,' Naruto thought to himself as he swerved in and out of each of his opponents' wild slashes.
"Naruto there is a crap tonne of gold on this ship in the lower levels," Hanabi shouted from their ship as she pulled up right alongside the ship with a giant shard of crystal running through it.
"I hear ya," Naruto said back before sidestepping another swipe "Yeah, sorry not sorry," Naruto said as he slipped between the flurry of attacks and shoved an elbow deep into the enemy captain's gut, bringing his attack to a halt.
As El Drago was trying to recover from having that last shot. Naruto just placed his hand on the deck he was standing on and crystallised the entire ship.
"Ok so you stay right there," Naruto said as he pointed to the weakling, he was fighting who was still on the floor gasping for air.
Naruto began to sink into the crystallised surface and continued to fall through the ship before he reached the treasury room.
'Four massive chests of gold and gems,' Naruto thought as he began stacking the four crates on top of each other and then created a crystal platform beneath the pile and allowed the treasure to fall into his crystal dimension.
Once that was complete Naruto leapt back through the original crystal back up to the deck just as the room, he was in was flooded.
"Thanks for the gold. Kitty-chan," Naruto mocked as he came back up onto the deck where El Drago had finally recovered.
"Curse you. You won't take my gold," El Draggo shouted as he began to use his devil fruit power and a beam of light began to emit from his mouth.
"Keshō Keshō no Hisui Taberu," Naruto said as he clapped his hands and a large green coloured crystal mirror formed in his hands. As he opened and held his hands out in front of him the beam attack was absorbed into the mirror.
"What the! How the hell are you not dead," El Drago.
"The answer is a simple one," Naruto said.
'What was that Gabba-sensei always said? Oh yeah and pause for effect,' Naruto thought himself.
"Because I'm stronger than you," Naruto said simply thinking it made him look cool.
"Oh, and one more thing, Kitty-chan." Naruto said has he began pointing down to the floor beneath El Drago.
El Drago looked down following what his adversary was pointing to and he could see a green crystal forming beneath his feet.
'Is that,' El Drago thought as he looked up and saw that the blonde still had the mirror that ate his scream blast activated.
"Hansha," Naruto stated simply.
As El Drago looked back down a bright light obscured his vision and the next thing, he felt was pain.
"Wow he put some real force into that attack," Naruto said out loud as he looked up into the sky as his opponent was blasted away into the sky until he was nothing but a speck in the distance.
"Well my job is done here." Naruto stated as he grabbed the four chests and hopped over back to his own ship. As soon as he landed Naruto snapped his fingers causing his crystals to shatter and taking the ship with it.
Naruto turned to his small crew.
"Well that was a fun little distraction, and now we are rich," Hanabi said with a smile.
"To the victor go the spoils," Shinobu commented with a small giggle.
"Yup, shame that crew was weak though," Naruto said before heading to their own treasury to drop off their loot.
A Few hours later the Hanahime was sailing through the open seas back on their original course.
Naruto was at lying down on the crystal fox head at the front of the ship. Shinobu was at the helm of the ship as it was her turn to pilot and Hanabi was hanging out in the lookout at the top of the mast. They had just entered the Conomi islands
'All most done,' Hanabi thought to herself as continued working on their jolly roger.
Back with Naruto sensed something out in front of them. So, he sat up to have a look.
"Is that a person?" Naruto said to himself as looked on and could a what appeared to be a person clinging on to a plank wood floating along.
"Back in a moment," Naruto called out before hopping off of the ship.
Just before his feet could touch the water, he crystallised the air between him and the ocean creating a small disk like platform under each foot and with every step a new disk was created until he reached the man clinging to life.
"Hello, are you alive?" Naruto asked.
Not hearing a response Naruto frowned before grabbing the man by the back of his grey and soaked shirt before leaping back onto the ship.
"Shinobu, Hanabi. Can I get a little help here?" Naruto called out as Shinobu rushed over and Hanabi leapt out of the lookout.
"Ok let me see," Shinobu said ushering Naruto away.
Naruto went over to the helm as there wasn't much more he could do. He wasn't a healer or a medical expert.
Back over with the unconscious male Naruto saved. Hanabi activate her eyes to make sure he was ok internally.
"Erm Shinobu it looks like he has been badly poisoned the stuff seems to be eroding his lungs.
"Ok," Shinobu said before reaching for medicine pouch and pulling out an emergency syringe that she had already pre-sterilised this morning. She began to draw blood so she can analyse the toxin and maybe able devise a treatment.
"Alright Hanabi lets get him more comfortable," Shinobu said as Hanabi lifted him up with ease and carried him to the room Shinobu used as apothecary room with a mixture of plants and herbs for her poisons.
Back on the deck Naruto was sailing smoothly while Hanabi made her way back to him.
"The guy is gonna live, Shinobu is gonna treat the poison now. He is quite lucky that we found him and have a poison expert with us." Hanabi said as she stretched out.
"Yup and did you recognise him," Naruto said.
"No, why should I," Hanabi asked.
"He has a bounty on his head the Man- Demon Gin," Naruto said. "Remember that last stack of bounties that landed on our island via the news bird."
"Oh yeah, is that really him?" Hanabi pondered.
"We shall see when he awakes," Naruto said before a smile came to his face.
"Land Ho!" Naruto shouted as he spotted the island he was looking for.
"Are you sure we are in the right place," Hanabi questioned.
"I thought the fishman's tower was supposed to be a huge ugly looking tower?" Hanabi continued as she remembered the stories, they both heard about Arlong and his crew.
"I'm going over there now," Naruto said in an excited tone before turning to Hanabi. "Dock at the port then come and find me." Naruto then leapt off of the deck towards the Cocoyashi Village before Hanabi could say another word.
Cocoyasi Village
On the other side of the Village a blue haired woman was helping with the clean up after the celebrations from a couple of days since Arlong had been defeated and her sister had left with the Straw Hat and others going on her own journey.
"I should have gone with them." The woman sighed as she finished sweeping up the front of yard outside of her home.
"Should have gone with who," a voice startled her.
As the blue haired woman looked around, she spotted a young man around her age leaning over her gate.
Noting her hesitance, the young man offered a hand.
"Hi I'm Naruto, you are?" Naruto introduced with cheeky smile.
"Nojiko," Nojiko answered taking his in a soft shake.
"Nice tattoo, wanna compare?" Naruto laughed as he saw her take on a light reddish hue.
"All seriousness though. Have you heard of a pirate? Goes by the name Arlong he is blue and has a mean streak, and apparently has a large murder boner for humans." Naruto said.
The pretty ladies face changed from a relax to tense in a matter of milliseconds.
"Why do you want to know?" Nojiko said frostily.
Not really caring about the tonal shift Naruto closed his eyes and wrapped both of hands behind the back of his head.
"I wanna fight him, he is a fishman, he was born the Grand Line and rumour has it he served under Fisher Tiger, so he has got to be strong right." Naruto explained.
"Well lucky for you he was defeated a couple days ago and was carted off by the marines."
"AWW damn really, who beat him is he here?" Naruto asked.
"No, he departed with his crew a yesterday morning."
"Damn it," Naruto would have continued but Nojiko's stomach growled out loud.
"You know any decent places to eat? My treat." Naruto chuckled sheepishly as Nojiko blushed from embarrassment.
"Fine just wait a minute," Nojiko said as she headed indoors to put the broom away before walking back out dragging Naruto along.
A little while later in the centre of town Nojiko had taken Naruto to a small food stand to eat lunch.
After getting to know Nojiko a little more she explained what had happened over the last few days with Arlong and his pirates being unseated from their throne.
"That's disappointing I thought he would have been strong." Naruto hummed.
"What do you mean?" Nojiko stated with confusion.
"Sounds like to me he was playing the big fish in a small pond," Naruto said pausing while baseline humans are a lot weaker than fishman at their base, but with training humans can surpass that kind of strength," Naruto explained.
Before Nojiko could respond shouting erupted from outside the food stall.
Nojiko recognised that voice and ran outside with Naruto quickly following after.
"That's right this village is infested with pirates," a rat like man was barking orders at other marines.
"Nezumi what are you doing. Wasn't that beating you received yesterday enough for you," Nojiko shouted at the marine.
"That dangerous Straw Hat has been reported to marine HQ and he will have a bounty on his head. But it wasn't just him was it this whole town did nothing while Marines were being assaulted so everyone here is guilty of aiding and abetting pirates." Nezumi stated in smug tone as he had brought even more marines with him than previously.
"Well now this seems interesting." Naruto stated as he walked towards Nezumi from the crowd that had gathered so he stood between the marines and the towns folk.
"Who the hell are you?" Nezumi demanded
"Is this person causing trouble Nojiko-chan?" Naruto asked as he glanced behind him making eye contact with the blue haired woman, ignoring the rat looking marine.
"Don't you dare ignore me you punk!" Nezumi shouted before drawing a pistol from his jacket and training it on the young man in front of him.
Naruto raised an eyebrow at the marine as he remembered a lesson Gaban taught him.
'Whenever you take up arms against someone remember you must be willing to stake your life as well,' Naruto remembered.
"That's not a toy you know Rat-san. You shouldn't point such a dangerous weapon at someone unless you are willing to put own life on the line," Naruto said with a small smirk.
"DIEEE!" Nezumi shouted as he unloaded his pistol at the blonde for daring to get in way.
Nezumi stopped firing as soon as he the gun was empty of ammunition. As he focused on the blonde, he noticed that he was still standing with not a single wound.
'What the?' Nezumi thought to himself.
Naruto just stood side on with raised his fist raised and coated in some kind of armour that glinted I the sunlight and as he opened his hand up, he tilted it to the side to show that he had caught each and every bullet.
Everyone was stunned as each individual ball bearing hit the ground one by one.
Before anyone else could react Naruto just calmly placed his hands into his trousers and his eyes took on a dangerous glint.
"Iaiken: Sokusha Danmaku," Naruto announced his technique.
After a moment nothing happened so Nezumi took a step forward thinking the blonde kid was too afraid to move. As soon as he took a step something smash right into his face knocking him back into his marines, before multiple shockwaves signalling all of the marines standing near Nezumi were also getting hit all over.
Once the barrage of shockwaves was over the marines were all covered cuts and bruises in a small pile of unconscious bodies.
As Naruto withdrew his hands from his pockets everyone around could see slight smoke wafting off of his fists.
"Well that was easy," Naruto said before turning back towards Nojiko.
"With that now taken care of should we finish our lunch." Naruto said before spotting his Hanabi walking up through the crowd.
"Hey, over here," Naruto waved her over.
"There you are, we have fully docked. Any luck finding Sawtooth?"
"Nah, he was beaten by some Straw Hat pirate a couple of days ago," Naruto said with a forlorn expression on his face.
"That's unfortunate but we need to pick up some supplies from this island before we move on," Hanabi said as she pulled out a list with all the items that they needed.
"Ok great, we will pick up what we need then go see Shinobu hopefully some of these things can help with our guest's condition
"Hey, I never asked. Why are you going to the grand line?" Nojiko asked.
Naruto smirked before grinning wildly.
"To go on the grandest adventure. To become the man who has the most freedom in world. To become the King," Naruto declared.
After a moment of silence passed Nojiko made up her mind.
'Nami gets to go on her own adventure well I'm about to go on my own,' Nojiko thought to herself.
"Take me with you," Nojiko asked.
"Why should I? You just heard me, right? My crew and I are pirates. The world hates our very existence."
"I'm a pretty good navigator, I learnt a thing or two from my sister."
After what felt like eternity for Nojiko as both Naruto and Hanabi were both staring at her.
"Welcome aboard Nojiko-chan," Naruto said with a thumbs up before turning to Hanabi.
"Look Lil' Firecracker we have got ourselves a navigator our crew is growing for sure," Naruto said with a grin.
"Sure, and it has nothing to do with the fact you find her hot right," Hanabi accused in a teasing manner.
"I have no idea of what your talking about." Naruto said as he turned away not allowing his sister in everything but blood to see his blush.
"Anyway, let's have a party for Nojiko joining our crew." Naruto announced.
A few hours had passed by and Nojiko's goodbye/crew joining party was in full swing.
The townsfolk were out in force drinking and dancing away. The crew of the Hanahime were also partying alongside celebrating the fact they have a navigator. Shinobu's patient had awoken feeling better, not fully healed but whatever she had done had alleviated the symptoms.
While Hanabi and Shinobu were getting to know their new navigator. Naruto was having a drinking contest with a few locals and Gin.
"So, you're the whiskered face punk who is going to take away my Nojiko? Don't care if you helped us out today. I won't let you take her unless you can defeat me." A heavily scarred man declared as he stumbled over already quite drunk from the party.
Naruto looked up at the scarred man as he was seated.
"You don't want this fight old man," Naruto responded with a narrowed stare matching the glare he was receiving from the scarred individual.
"Nonsense, of course I want this battle." The scarred man paused for a moment for sitting down at the table were a couple of the Naruto, Gin and the others were seated.
"I let one of my girls go with one pirate, but he defeated Arlong, but I was not able to test Straw Hat."
"If I let Nojiko go with you, you must be able to OUT DRINK ME THE LEGENDARY GENZO," the scarred man drunkenly roared as he stood up dramatically drawing everyone attention.
Hanabi and Shinobu had amused looks on their faces while Nojiko was embarrassed.
"Sit down Genzo you're drunk," one of the townsfolk shouted from the crowd
Gin snort before returning his attention back to his rum.
"Brahahahahahaha, I like your spirit old man. Fine then bring it on I shall defeat you. BRING ON THE RUM!" Naruto roared matching Genzo's enthusiasm.
"I was saved by crazy people again just my luck," Gin muttered to himself watching the scene as even more barrels of rum were brought to the table.
Following Day
Naruto woke up with a pounding headache as sunlight was glinting through the window of the room, he was in.
'One day, I will find a way to blow you up,' Naruto thought as he cursed the sun for waking him up.
Naruto tried to sit up but found that he that he couldn't move as his arm was trapped.
'What the?' Naruto thought before fully opening his eyes and looking to his side a looking at a familiar head of blue hair clutching his arm.
'Did we?' Naruto thought as he tried to recollect memories from the night previous.
Flashback Starts
The party had been going on well into the early hours of the morning and after Naruto had defeated Genzo in the drinking competition Hanabi had decided to challenge the entire village. During the festivities Genzo passed out so Naruto offered to take him home and Nojiko came and helped as he did not know where Genzo lived.
"Here we go, this is Genzo's home," Nojiko stated as she grabbed the spare key and opened up the front door.
"Here ya go old man," Naruto slurred as he fully slung an unconscious Genzo over his shoulder and followed after Nojiko.
After around ten minutes went by and Nojiko and Naruto stumbled out of Genzo's home giggling and laughing. Naruto was holding a new bottle of brandy which he swiped from Genzo's home. Naruto decided to walk Nojiko home after all he wanted to get to know his new navigator and carry on drinking.
Flashback Ends
'Everything fades to black after that, but I don't think that anything happened I still have my trousers on and Nojiko appeared to have her clothes on as well,' Naruto thought to himself.
The sound of groaning disturbed Naruto from his attempt figure out what happened.
As he looked down at his now stirring sleeping buddy.
"Hmmm, Naruto?" An equally if not more hungover Nojiko opened her eyes as she glanced up and locked eyes with a blonde man in her bed.
"Yeah that's me. I got to ask because I have no recollection of last night. Did we, you know?" Naruto asked.
Nojiko looked puzzled for a moment and tried to think back.
"Oh no. That didn't happen," Nojiko said with a light blush.
"We got back to my place and we talked for a bit and then you tried to make your way home before passing out. I followed shortly after I think." Nojiko explained.
"Well alright then sorry about that, I haven't like that in a while." Naruto said before getting out of bed.
"I'm gonna head back to the ship and have a shower and we set sail in couple of hours so we will see you at the docks." Naruto said as he picked up his shirt and made his way out of Nojiko's home.
After she heard the front door close Nojiko flopped back into trying to ignore what had really happened last night.
Flashback Start
After walking her back to her home, she went to kiss her captain on the cheek as a thank you but being drunk does not do wonders for your aim. Naruto happened to turn into the kiss by accident and they ended up locking lips which ended a full blown make out session as they stumbled inside her home.
The duo had made it to her room before they both passed out in a drunken stupor.
Flashback End
Nojiko just blushed at the thought of what happened and what could have happened between them and was kind of relived that Naruto doesn't remember last night.
'Ok enough moping around. I need to get ready." Nojiko said aloud as she attempted to get up and out of bed but soon gave up as the room was still spinning, she was still incredibly hungover.
"Ok, five more minutes then I'll get ready."
Conomi Island Docks
A few hours had past since Naruto arrived back on the ship and it appeared Naruto wasn't the only one feeling the effects of last night as Hanabi was passed out on the deck in the shadiest corner possible. Shinobu was finishing loading supplies onto the ship.
"Ok, I'm pretty sure you already know because since we saved you will be with us until we get that poison out of you. You do not need to worry about us cashing the bounty on your head," Naruto said attempting to reassure Gin.
"Thanks, I guess." Gin said in response while he did appreciate it, he wasn't going to be completely trusting as of yet.
"Oh, and I want you to think about my offer from last night," Naruto said.
"Wait that was real?" Gin said surprise etched on his face.
"Yup and here she comes," Naruto said as he spotted Nojiko through the crowd with some luggage.
"Permission to come aboard Captain," Nojiko shouted with smile on her face.
"Leave your luggage on the deck for now," Naruto said as he looked at Nojiko's new outfit.
Nojiko was wearing fitted denim shorts that stopped just above the knee, a purple vest top with a dark red shirt over the top, along similar boots to Hanabi.
"Welcome aboard Miss Navigator. Last chance to get off this boat," Naruto said.
"Not a chance," Nojiko responded.
"That's the right answer." Naruto said with the brightest grin.
"Hanabi," Naruto barked causing her jump to awake from her alcohol induced nap.
"Draw in the anchor! Shinobu, raise the sails it is time for to leave,"
"Yes Captain," Both girls responded before getting on with their tasks.
"If you haven't said goodbye now is the time." Naruto added as he empathised.
Nojiko just nodded and walked to the side of the boat.
After reeling in the anchor quickly went and raised the Jolly Rodger she had been working on.
'Hopefully Naruto likes it,' Hanabi thought to herself.
Naruto noticed a new addition to his ship a flag on top of the mast a black flag.
The background of the flag was black standard, then there was a diamond shape in the colour orange. Instead crossbones there were two axes going behind the skull which had his head band on in orange.
'I fricking love it,' Naruto thought.
"Hanabi you are awesome you know that." Naruto shouted from across the ship.
"I know that, but you should tell me more often," Hanabi teased back
"Whatever little firecracker," Naruto snarked back before turning to Shinobu.
"When we get far enough from the island do you mind giving our new crewmate a tour of our lovely boat.
Shinobu just nodded in response.
"I won't say goodbye, but I will say I'll see you later and if I find Nami, I'll tell her you all send your love, oh and I promise I haven't stolen any of your belongings." Nojiko shouted to the townsfolk with tears beginning to stream down her face.
Naruto was at the helm steering the ship and as they began to sail away off to continue their grand adventure.

Technique List:
Naruto- Iaiken: Sokusha Danmaku (Bare Fist: Rapid-fire Barrage)- Bare fist version of iaido (iai pulling of the sword). Naruto uses his pockets in replacement for scabbard and carries out punches faster than the eye can see.
Keshō Keshō no Piercing Lance-Naruto creates a large sharp indigo coloured spear like crystal around his forearm that he can use to impale is target. (It can be thrown as well used up close).
Keshō Keshō no Hisui Kagami /Hansha (Crystal Crystal Jade Mirror/Reflection)- Naruto creates a jade coloured crystal of any size or shape to which can absorb any energy-based attack into Naruto's crystal dimension as long as it is not too powerful. Hansha basically releases that attack back.
Keshō Keshō no Crystalline Toguchi (Crystal Crystal Crystalline Doorway)-Naruto creates a violet coloured mirror normally human sized for him to walk through. He can also bring other people through as long as he remains in physical contact with them.
Hanabi- Nito Nito no Saishō Nenshō (Nitro Nitro Minimum Combustion)- Hanabi just creates a low-level concussive explosion that can knock people away.
Shinobu- Hornets Dance: Sokusha Sasu (Hornets Dance: Rapid-fire sting) Shinobu launches purple energy like projectiles from a rapier-like stance (Similar to Asuna from SAO).
Explanation time
Ok so Naruto's jolly roger think of it like the Red-Haired Pirates jolly roger same skull type have axes instead of swords and instead of the scar there is an orange headband.
Do people want anyone from the elemental nations to show up like I think it would kind of nice if like Hinata could reunite with Hanabi or something and maybe teach them a little more about chakra or something.
Now I normally don't like reading fics that do this mainly because authors either make the shinobi little fucking bitches that get stomped on or they are gods to everyone in the xover universe.
If I go this route I would try and make things balanced and bit more fun to read it's never fun when someone just curbs stomps every enemy in a universe like how is that a fun read.
Same question as the last chapter Logia/Paramecia/Special Paramecia for Naruto's fruit.
(three people gave me answers in last chapter reviews but all of them chose one type I need a consensus on this.)
And yes, I used the cliché mob hunts down Naruto at the beginning, but you know what I don't really care my story my rules. This is fanfiction not canon so you can piss off with 'In canon the villagers were never violent to Naruto' No shit Sherlock its like I never seen/read Naruto before.
