On any kind of world in the entire universe, there are always never-ending conflicts between two forces that are completely opposite to each other. Good and evil. They have always been fighting against each other in many forms of beings, wether they were living organic beings or something much different. The ones who fight for good, heroes, would usually be the ones to claim victory and defeat the ones that choose the side of evil, villains. While some worlds may be able to move on from these conflicts of good and bad, many more still have the same kind of battles involving these forces as this universe-wide battle will clearly never end.
However, good and evil has the potential to come together and battle against even greater forces that seek to destroy both forces at the same time.
In the far reaches of space, all that was shown was a simple asteroid field before the suddenly slowly moved away to show a large green planet with some blue areas on it and a ring of asteroids surrounding it just like Saturn. Some would think this planet is home to a race of flesh-covered life forms at first glance, but that is incorrect as the beings of this planet were actually a race of technological beings that were descended from two factions of a robotic species that lived on their original home planet.
"For as long as we can remember, our race has always been split into two conflicting factions that have battled for control over the world we live on. It happened with our ancestors, and it also happened with us in the current century." A wise and heroic voice said, narrating things for the readers. "But, we would soon end our long-lasting war when the greatest evil to ever exist in our kind's history finally arrived. There's a legend that proceeds the dawn of our civilisation. Stories about a vile Cybertronian god, so large and so powerful, that it consumes entire planets as fuel to continue it's legacy of destruction. Few believe such a thing could be true. Until the day we saw Unicron with our own eyes."
Just then, something larger than the planet slowly began to move towards it and cast a ginormous shadow. The giant object was revealed to be a even larger planet that was made entirely of metal, with a large orange-glowing hole in the middle to act as some kind of mouth and a giant metal ring surrounding this monstrous metal planet. It also had a pair of horn-like pincers next to it's mouth area and some bright-orange colourings to go with all the silver. Just then, some small metallic pods and a spaceship shot out of the monstrous planet and they descended down to the jungle planet's surface. The small pods crashed on the ground and they unfolded into three big purple shark-like robotic beings that let our ferocious roars. As the shark-like robots tracked through the jungle area to find prey, the spaceship crashed landed behind them and came to a quick halt.
"But he didn't just come to devour our planet and destroy us, he wanted our greatest technology. The great artefact we took when our previous home was obliterated. The Transwarp Key." The wise voice explained. "And he sent his most powerful henchman to collect it. Scourge."
A hatch ontop of the spaceship opened up and emerging from it and flexing his shoulders was a large robotic being with a muscular build and rust all over his body. The shark-like robot minions, more commonly known as Sharkticons, were seen advancing through the large forest with ginormous trees emitting blue glows, shooting some powerful lasers from their mouths to clear a path for themselves. One of them eventually arrived out of the forest as an open ledge and looked around with a low snarl, sensing something else was nearby. Before the lone Sharkticon could do anything, something large and metallic jumped out from the trees behind and it grabbed the Sharkticon by it's tail. This something was a huge robotic gorilla that was mainly black with silver highlights and green eyes. The gorilla robot held onto the Sharkticon's tail tightly and swung the mechanical creature around before slamming it onto the floor. The Sharkticon immediately recovered and roared at the gorilla robot, who retaliated with his own roar while slamming onto his chest.
"I won't let Unicron destroy this world without a fight!" The gorilla robot announced courageously.
But before the Sharkticon could attack, a much more different and louder roar sounded out through the entire area and some thundering footsteps were heard within the forest. Suddenly, another robotic beast charged from out of the forest and it was revealed to be a purple-coloured T-Rex as it immediately bit down onto the Sharkticon's head with it's massive jaws and pulled it off with all it's might, making the robotic sea creature's headless body fall down. The purple robotic T-Rex tossed the Sharkticon head away and turned it's attention towards the robotic gorilla as they gave each other cold stares.
"Optimus Primal." The robotic T-Rex said.
"Megatron." The robotic gorilla replied.
The two of them suddenly transformed into more humanoid forms. Optimus Primal now stood with his gorilla arms and legs shifted into human-shapes ones and his head was now coated in a helmet piece and a face mask. Megatron had his T-Rex head acting as his right hand and the tail was seemingly a physical-combat weapon for his other hand, while he had red eyes and the T-Rex arms were located on his back. They even had a pair of different symbols on them, a wolf-like symbol on Primal's chest and an insectoid symbol in a green gem on Megatron's forehead.
"I see that you've survived Unicron's forces, so far." Megatron admitted as he and Primal slowly approached each other, having been mortal enemies for a long time.
"I was about to say the same thing about you." Primal replied, giving his old foe an intense look.
They both eventually stood in few inches away from the other and kept on staring coldly at each other for a few seconds, until they eventually grabbed each other's hands and shook firmly.
"Perhaps this truce was a good idea. Yesss." Megatron said with a sly smile.
"Only as long as we live long enough to make it off the planet." Primal told him as they separated their hands. "Unicron won't stop until we are all destroyed."
"Surely, our comrades will be arriving any moment." Megatron proclaimed. "The Maximals and Predacons shall never be vanquished from this universe."
"That, we can both agree on." Primal said.
But then, the two leaders heard a familiar roar and they saw another Sharkticon charging at them with the intent to attack. Primal and Megatron prepared themselves for battle, but the Sharkticon was suddenly pounced on by a robotic Velociraptor with red eyes, was mainly brown with bright-orange highlights and a Predacon symbol on his upper chest. The robot Velociraptor struck the Sharkticon with his teeth and claws, causing the mechanical sea creature to cry out in pain. When the robot Velociraptor jumped off, a long stream of silk shot itself onto the Sharkticon and pulled it back before the Sharkticon was stabbed in the head by a very long and pointy arm. That arm belonged to a black and gold robotic spider with red eyes, which retracted it's leg from the dead Sharkticon and approached Primal and Megatron with the robot Velociraptor in tow.
"Dinobot, Blackarachnia, you both have precise timing." Megatron complimented as his two Predacon followers transformed.
Dinobot had a blue face, a gold-orange helmet, the Velociraptor top head on his chest, feather features on his arms and legs and the Predacon symbol was on his left shoulder. Blackarachnia was mainly golden and black with pincer-like hands and her golden spider legs were mounted on her back with the Predacon symbol on her metallic collar piece.
"You're just lucky we showed up in time before you two became Sharkticon bait." Blackarachnia replied in a sassy tone.
"We should not be wasting anymore time! We must get to the launch tower and escape from Unicron, immediately!" Dinobot stated, snarling aggressively.
"Not until everyone else has met up with us. We need to stay together if we are to survive." Primal said firmly.
"HEADS UP!" A voice yelled loudly.
Primal, Megatron, Dinobot and Blackarachnia looked into the forest and they saw another being rushing out of it, revealing to be a robotic rat with dark-grey fur pieces and brown metallic skin, along with silver whiskers and green eyes. He stopped in front of the others and panted in exhaustion.
"Oh great, the vermin survived." Megatron said in unhappiness.
"Rattrap, what's wrong?" Primal asked.
"What's wrong is that there's a hungry Sharkticon tailin' behind me!" Rattrap shouted. "And it ain't stoppin', too!"
Rattrap was correct as another Sharkticon emerged from the forest and rushed at it's foes to attack. But suddenly, a beam of energy blasted the Sharkticon from above and it got blown apart once the beam made contact. Flying out of the explosion's smoke was a robotic falcon with light-bronze, a metal beak, green eyes and feathers on her wings. The robot falcon let out a loud squawk as she landed on the Sharkticon she destroyed.
"Nice shot there, Airazor." Rattrap said in relief before he and Airazor transformed into their own robot forms.
Airazor has a female appearance as the falcon head was on her torso, her head had a curved helmet and her falcon wings were located on her back as the Maximal symbol was also on her chest. Rattrap had a silver piece on his head that resembled some kind of metal brain, a chipped tooth like a mouse's, the back rat feet on his back and the front rat feet on his legs, the rat tail wrapped around his torso, a green visor on his forehead and the Maximal symbol was on his arm.
"Are the rest of the gang with you?" Blackarachnia asked Airazor.
"Yes, Rattrap and I saw them just moments ago." Airazor replied. "They shouldn't be far behind."
Right on cue, five more robotic beasts emerged out of the forest to meet up with their comrades. A light-orange cheetah, a steel-silver rhino, a red Pterodactyl, a green wasp with a yellow and black back abdomen and a silver scorpion with six red eyes.
"Cheetor, Rhinox, it's good to see you both." Primal said in a kind way.
"It is also fortunate that you are here, Terrorsaur, Waspinator and Scorponok. Yesss." Megatron added.
Cheetor, Rhinox, Terrorsaur, Waspinator and Scorponok transformed to stand with their allies. Cheetor was an averaged toned robot with a dark-silver mouth mask and armored plates on his shoulders. Rhinox was silver with a few rust edges, the two halves of his rhinoceros horns were on the back of his shoulders and some small chains hanging from the inside of his shoulders and back. Both Maximals had their symbols on their chests. Terrorsaur had his wings connected to the bottom of his arms, while his face was all white and the Pterodactyl head was located on his back. He also had his Predacon symbol located on his forehead. Waspinator had purple insectoid eyes, a four-split mouth, an extra pair of small appendages on the sides of his chest, bended legs, his wasp wings on his back and his Predacon symbol was on the left of his head. And finally, Scorponok had the exact same head as his scorpion form, his scorpion tail was connected to the middle section of his back, his hands had three claw-like fingers and scorpion legs acted as a ribcage on his stomach.
"We would have been here sooner if Terrorsaur didn't decide to attack some Terrorcon drones." Scorponok commented, shooting an annoyed glare at the Pterodactyl Predacon.
"Hey, no mindless pile of scrap tries to attack me and lives to tell about it!" Terrorsaur retorted.
"Where are the others?" Primal asked, noticing there was only eleven of them when there should be more. "Are they…"
The Maximals and Predacons simply lowered their heads remorsefully, showing that something really bad had happened to the rest of their allies.
"We are all that is left." Airazor said sadly.
Primal gained a remorseful expression after hearing this, while Megatron stayed silent and showed no emotion.
"Scourge started to attack us and they all stayed behind to fend him off." Rhinox informed. "They all perished by his hand before we could do anything."
"Waspinator is just lucky to still be alive." Waspinator admitted.
"None of us will be alive if we stay here." Megatron reminded.
"He's right. More enemies are landing." Cheetor said in concern. "We won't be safe for long."
"Do we have the key?" Airazor asked.
Primal nodded and pulled out something attached to his back, which was an orange-glowing object with a crystalline structure.
"And our ship is ready for departure. We need to leave and keep the key hidden, so that Unicron will never have it." Primal told everyone.
"Getting away from the big hungry Cybertronian god is a great plan in my book." Rattrap agreed.
"Only you would agree to a cowardly plan, vermin." Dinobot insulted. "I say we should stand out grand and bring the fight to Unicron and his Terrorcon followers!"
"As much as I don't like admitting it, Primal is correct. It's better to escape certain death than stand and die for nothing." Megatron proclaimed, much to Dinobot's disappointment.
"This isn't the time for suggesting if we should battle Unicron or not." Cheetor stated.
"The kitty cat's right. Scourge is on his way to kill us all." Terrorsaur added.
"Then let's get to the ship, quickly." Primal instructed.
The Maximals and Predacons started to run towards the large tower that was ontop of a far away mountain, but Scorponok didn't move as he looked back into the forest behind before the others noticed this.
"Scorponok, what are you doing?" Megatron questioned, looking at his Predacon soldier with an annoyed scowl. "We are supposed to escape from the planet, not stand still like frozen Cybertronians!"
"Megatron, with all due respect…I'm staying." Scorponok announced.
Not expecting to hear this from Scorponok, the Maximals and Predacons turned around to face him with surprised expression.
"What the heck are ya talking about, pincer bug?!" Rattrap questioned.
"Don't tell us you're trying to be a hero, Scorponok." Blackarachnia said, shaking her head.
"I'm not. I just can't stand by and let some giant monster continue to undermine the Predacons. Even you stupid Maximals." Scorponok declared firmly. "Besides, all of you deserve to live on more than me."
"What are you going to do, then?" Rhinox asked.
"I'll fight Scourge on my own." Scorponok answered, turning around to look into the dark area of the forest. "It should buy all of you enough time to escape."
"That would mean certain death for you, just like what happened with our other comrades." Dinobot told the scorpion Predacon.
"I'm okay with that. Just make sure you all have a good life without me." Scorponok said.
"Waspinator certainly will." Waspinator whispered to himself.
"We won't forget you, Scorponok." Primal said, feeling grateful. "Everyone else, let's go."
"As you wish, Primal." Megatron replied before the Maximal/Predacon group ran off towards the mountain.
Scorponok remained where he stood and looked into the forest, seeing the shadowy silhouette of the same big robotic being that emerged from the spaceship earlier as there was an orange glow emitting from his chest. Scorponok bared his deadly claws in preparation for a fight and his scorpion tail got into a battle stance, while Scourge walked to the side and noticed the scorpion Predacon.
"So you're another one of this planet's great warriors. A Predacon, to be exact." Scourge said as Scorponok continued glaring at the menacing robot. "Mmm…you have such a beautiful world. Filled with an abundance of life. Savoury."
Scourge soon stepped out of the shadows to reveal his full appearance. He had evil orange eyes, a mask that was the same shape as his Terrorcon symbol, a four-fingered hook for a left hand, some truck pipes on his back, a few small chains wrapped around some certain body areas and a bunch of different symbols on both his arms, acting as a collection of trophies from all the foes Scourge has slain.
"My master grows hungry." Scourge said intimidatingly, circling Scorponok as he did the same thing. "Give me the Transwarp Key and he will spare your home."
"That monster already destroyed Cybertron! We're not letting him destroy anymore planets that we can rebuild on!" Scorponok stated in anger, causing Scourge to sigh.
"So be it." Scourge replied before he faced Scorponok and made his hook hand spin a bit.
Scorponok let out a furious screech before he jumped at Scourge, slicing him on the torso four times and then using his tail to swat the menacing Terrorcon. Scourge stumbled back as he didn't show any signs of being hurt and Scorponok leaped at him for another attack. However, Scourge reeled his right arm back and a large crescent-edged blade sprouted out while glowing orange and the Terrorcon swiftly stabbed Scorponok with his deadly weapon. Scorponok grunted in pain as he gripped the blade piercing his chest, but Scourge's hook span and generated a large amount of red energy in the center before Scourge blasted half of Scorponok's torso away with it, making the scorpion Predacon stand motionlessly from the great amount of agony he felt.
"Benefits of serving the almighty Unicron." Scourge said, taking Scorponok's Predacon symbol off him as the scorpion Predacon collapsed onto the ground.
Placing the Predacon symbol on his left arm, Scourge shot some lasers from his fingers and they stuck the symbol onto his arm with the rest of his 'trophies'.
"They never learn." Scourge said to himself maliciously.
"You've failed, Scourge." Scorponok said weakly, coughing out some red liquid as he laid on the ground. "You'll never…get your hands on the Transwarp Key. Unicron will be…stuck in this century with you…forever."
As Scourge watched Scorponok slowly die in front of him, a spaceship suddenly shot out of the tower on the mountain. Scourge turned around and saw it flying into a large cloudy vortex in the sky, escaping from him and his master.
"No." Scourge scowled furiously.
From inside the ship, Primal looked down at the planet he used to live on one last time with a sad expression while holding the Transwarp Key before Megatron approached him.
"Such a shame that we had to go on another exodus, Primal. Yesss." Megatron muttered.
"There was no other choice, Megatron. Once we arrive in this new time period, we'll hopefully be able to start anew." Primal replied as they both walked side by side to the control area of the ship.
"Indeed. You and I have been at odds with each other for so many years, I never actually thought of what we would do if we lived with a fragile peace." Megatron said.
"Perhaps now, we will find out." Primal told him hopefully.
When the two leaders arrived at the control area, they saw Airazor, Cheetor, Rhinox, Rattrap, Dinobot, Blackarachnia, Terrorsaur and Waspinator standing at it while observing the front view.
"We managed to escape." Cheetor said.
"But not without some great costs." Rhinox expressed.
"We lost a lot of Maximals and Predacon, today." Blackarachnia added.
"While I was never really fond of being around them, I shall honour the memory of our destroyed compatriots." Dinobot admitted, placing his hand onto his chest.
"That makes two of us, Chopper-Face." Rattrap replied.
"Their sacrifices will be our oath, to preserve the key. No matter the cost." Airazor declared honourably.
"I just want to know where we're going exactly." Terrorsaur said, crossing his arms.
"Yes, Waspinator is very curious about what planet we are going to, as well." Waspinator agreed.
"The same planet our Autobot and Decepticon ancestors battled on many centuries ago." Primal answered as all of them looked at the front view.
The spaceship they were riding in emerged out of the cloud vortex portal and it flew directly towards a new planet. It was Earth.

Meanwhile, Scourge was standing on a metallic platform in front of a large yellow light. He appeared to be inside the monstrous mechanical planet that was Unicron as two miniature Terrorcon predators watched Scourge from afar.
"You let them slip away with the Transwarp Key." Unicron said in disappointment. "Scour the universe and find where the Maximals and the Predacons have gone. When you acquire the key, use it to bring me to you."
"Yes, my lord." Scourge replied, standing up from his kneeling position.
"Once I have the key, I alone will reign supreme!" Unicron vowed, opening his yellow-glowing eyes.
In the orbit, Unicron's horn pieces slowly let out some blade edges and both horns gripped onto the jungle planet the Maximals and Predacons used to live on. Very slowly, the planet was devoured by Unicron as the mechanical dark god would later move on to find more planets to feed on.

Many, many years later in the outer rim…
The scene changes to show a planet that was made entirely out of metal. Some may think it was inhabited, but it was mainly deserted with most of it's people fleeing to find refuge somewhere else. This was mostly thanks to a civil war that has been going on for years. We soon get taken to a ginormous fortress in the middle of a rusted city, where a different kind of metallic being was working in some sort of communication room. He had a red visor, was mainly blue with white front arms and feet and he had a laser barrel gun mounted on his right shoulder. There was also purple evil symbol on the glass area of his chest. The blue robotic being seemed to be typing on a holographic console with some kind of signal being displayed on the screen.
"Running the final traces of the beacon's signal area, now." The blue robot said in a very robotic tone.
Once he presses a button, the blue robot started to see the signal area on a very familiar planet, beeping at a rapid pace. The blue robot knew exactly what to do now and he walked out of his communication room, eventually arriving in a much more larger room with a corridor that led towards a throne that was being sat on by a more menacing looking robot being. He was mainly silver with a helmet piece, had red eyes, black bottom feet and a really big laser cannon attached to his right arm. The blue robot stood in front of the menacing silver robot and bowed respectfully to him.
"Lord Megatron, I come with urgent news." The blue robot informed.
This different version of Megatron gained an interested expression as he stood up from his throne.
"What is it, Soundwave?" Megatron asked.
"After many years of decrypting the faint signal we momentarily received, I have discovered where it had been sent." The blue robot, Soundwave, told him. "It was where we lost contact with Shatter and Dropkick."
"Yes, it has been so many years since they were both reported Missing In Action." Megatron replied. "Where exactly did their signal come from?"
"A planet that is far away from Cybertron. It's identification is…Earth." Soundwave replied.
"If Shatter and Dropkick were lost on such a primitive and distant planet, then that could mean they made contact with…" Megatron said before he gained a look of realisation. "The Autobots!"
"The probability of them seeking refuge on this Earth planet is highly likely, Lord Megatron." Soundwave said.
"Indeed. Soundwave, I want you to prepare a shuttle for launch and use whatever power we have to get our dormant Space Bridge working again." Megatron ordered. "This can be our chance to finally destroy the Autobots."
"Affirmative. Will anyone else accompany us?" Soundwave asked as he stood up.
"Yes, we will need Shockwave and Barricade. And, as much as I hate to admit it, Starscream shall be accompanying us, too." Megatron answered, scowling at the mention of Starscream.
"Very well." Soundwave said with a nod, turning away and leaving to prepare a ship for launch.
Once he was alone, Megatron began to smirk sinisterly to himself as he thought that this might be his opportunity to end the civil war between the Autobots and Decepticons. And a very old foe of his.
"This is it, Prime. There shall be no more hiding for you and your precious Autobots." Megatron said to himself. "Once I arrive on Earth, all of your Sparks will be crushed into oblivion."
Megatron then walked down the corridor to meet up with his loyal Decepticons for a mission to terminate their enemies. The scene then moved up and shot back into space as the title for this story formed itself from metallic space debris and shattered asteroids.
