All right now that's out of the way, while I understand that there are the official timelines regarding the story I am about to embark on, my ass is going to have to make some major adjustments and deviations regarding how the idea will progress,

Prologue:
April 2520: One San'Shyuum named Stewart went behind the scenes to investigate the intentions of the Great Journey, hoping to find any secrets that would help him boost his chances of becoming a prophet.
the lie that held the entire covenant hierarchy together, the intentions of what the great journey could lead to, not godhood or great paradise, but total extinction.
Growing sympathetic towards not only the 'reclaimers' but to the rest of the races, deciding to use this as an opportunity for his gain to not only change the covenant, but as a means of creating a more positive atmosphere for all races within the hierarchy.
The truth that the Great Journey, the same belief that would bring the entire Covenant hierarchy into the path of Godhood, was a lie.
Instead of godhood, they faced extinction from the holy rings that were constantly sought after.
even pointing out the flaw in humanity and the San'Shyuum being allies due to historical information and countless documentation of species evolution passed down by the Forerunner artificial intelligence, despite claiming to no longer be connected to something called the 'Domain'.
Massive uproar was expected, support for the prophets dwindled to an impasse, major skirmishes between those who believed and those who didn't were expected.
Casualties were high due to hostile tensions.
Groups deviated to their past roots,
Reforms are unlikely.
Their stability seemed impossible.
August 2522: Support rallied behind the Stewards who spoke the truth, nearly collapsing the foundations of the Covenant to a point of no return.
however that was halted when the same steward used that moment to rally the species, rallying the cast species to overthrow the covenant prophets of old.
Promising change, she sought to rid the caste system that had caused such a great divide within the ranks of the Covenant, garnering even more support from many species who had grown sympathetic.
Species such as the Unggoy and even some San'Shyuum who were sympathetic to the cause demanded change in order to maintain stability within what was left of the Covenant.
December 2522: The Steward, now named the new Prophet of Truth, sits as the head of the newly established government, along with his two trusted San'Shyuum to stand side-by-side and govern the Covenant.
The replacement for the prophets of regret and mercy.
Revamping the caste system in favor of representatives from each species, acting as a council to ensure individual interests are protected and addressed in a polite and respectful manner.
government reform was also a major priority; by utilizing different methods than those used previously, creating a stronger sense of community.
October 2523: Most issues have been resolved, and reparations have been made to all species who suffered unjust conditions.
the Unggoy rebellion, the taming of the Mgalekgolo as well as halting and eliminating any signs of resentment, most notably between the Sangheili and the Jiralhanae as a prime example.
The prophets proposed a tournament between the two races to build up morale and unity for the covenant as a whole, bringing together all races.
December 2523: The tournament began in the form of the first ever Titan Games, using technology to run combat simulations repurposed for sporting events to prevent deaths.
The Jiralhanae team won the first game because they had played similar sports back on their homeworld of Doisac, thus resulting in the rivalry between them and the Sangheili with respectable performances.
Despite the rivalry, they respected each other's strengths and were eager to compete even more in the future.
the jiralhanae had natural bonds with their brethren, along with a sense of determination; while the sangheili had speed, discipline, and their military culture as warriors, and intelligence.
although the jiralhane may be considered intelligent due to their advancements in space travel, they still fall back to their primitive instincts.
something that they tend to control and regulate.
August 2524: Tensions were at an all-time low; the stability of the Covenant was stronger than ever, unity among the party species was strong and unmatched.
Despite the short-term issues regarding security and peace between the species, no major events such as rebellions or acts of chaos were reported.
February 2525: A scouting party from the Covenant was investigating a planet in the Epsilon Indi system, looking for any signs of Forerunner artifacts. This led to the first contact with humanity when a landing party discovered nearby farming colonies.
A fleet of UNSC warships was sent to investigate reports of unidentified vessels on the planet; they brought in a sizable fleet to prevent insurrection factions from attacking.
only to see foreign ships aiding the colony's crops using modified farming equipment with advanced technology, causing the captain of the ship known as the Spirit of Fire to be concerned about their arrival.
No acts of aggression were made as they signaled for temporary peace until all concerns were resolved.
As an olive branch, teams of scientists from both parties were sent to the same rally point to discover the abundance of forerunner artifacts deep within the icy glaciers.
Despite the use of the alien Huragok to bypass basic access and the Mgalekgolo for forcing any sealed doors to be opened, it was the human scientists who were able to access both the basic and advanced parts of the supposed system.
shocking both parties, the head of the covenant party explained the possibility of being "reclaimers." Confusing the human scientists but intriguing them as well.
March 2525: While the scientists were exchanging both notes and non-essential information that would benefit both parties in the long run, the captain of the Covenant scouting party gave a report to the Council, detailing the current events and the first contact with humanity. The Prophet of Truth ordered the scouting party to not engage until they arrived to confirm the report was accurate.
April 2525: A Covenant Super Carrier arrived with the Council races at the Harvest, raising major red flags for the UNSC, viewing this as a possible act of war due to the sheer size of the ship. Captain Cutter was about to initiate battle stations when he was hailed by the Long Night of Solace.
Diplomatic efforts proved successful as the UNSC fleet stood down, and the offer of peace was made by the prophets with the approval and acceptance of the leaders of humanity.
July 2526: The prophet of truth shook hands with the President of the United Earth Government. Now, fully establishing the presence of humanity as the Reclaimers, the Children of the Gods.
Thus resulting in humanity holding a seat on the Covenant Council, along with every other diverse species, being apart of something bigger,
All species representatives and leaders signed the Unification Treaty of 2526, marking an era of peace, unity, and major progress for future endeavors.
January 2527: numerous retrofitting and ship upgrades have been proposed and are currently in development since it has been revealed by the UNSC that they have no contact with any Forerunner artifacts to boost their long-term advancements.
in attempts to solidify relations, the prophets propose sending crews on obsolete ships to test the limits of covenant and forerunner technology.
This concept was expanded upon with the addition of the entire UNSC Navy, which received and implemented major upgrades and new retrofits.
under the observation of both UNSC and contractor personnel, and research and development (R & D ) specialists.
major improvements have been taken into account and implemented on one such project.

under the guidance of Covenant Special Operations Chiefs and ONI scientists, including Doctor Katherine Halsey and Rtas 'Vadam, they worked together to improve and strengthen the Spartan program by providing additional training and upgrading their existing equipment.
A serum was developed by joint Covenant and ONI scientists to rapidly accelerate the growth of those volunteers who had reached peak physical and mental conditioning, thus increasing the overall success rate of augmentation procedures.
The serum also resulted in the activation of a chemical compound within their bloodstream, detected by ONI scientists for further study.
The 'Midi-chlorian' label was the only one Oni had labeled the anomaly until further study could be conducted. Comparing the cells to other species to confirm that they indeed possessed this microscopic presence, which was used for physical tasks such as mental and physical capabilities that most species were normal in performing.
Further study required due to similar cases found among UNSC personnel outside the Spartan Program.
Another from UNSC and Covenant collaboration project in development has been code named "infinity".
with the best from both factions creating the galaxy's largest space-faring ship to push the boundaries of space exploration.
Scientific projects were also conducted, to further cure and improve upon species disadvantages.

Assisting uggnoy and jiralhanae birth rates on habitable worlds by boosting intelligence that comes with said cures. Developing different types of serums for airborne and liquid stages to further improve the species' quality of life.
Even some chemical compounds extend the life spans of many species, thus allowing humans and other creatures to live up to four times their normal lifespan.
April 2529: Joint operations began on the planet of Arcadia, utilizing the newly accessible caches of Forerunner artifacts to further develop advanced technology. Advancing the designs of Covenant Scarabs and other Human ground vehicles.
Star charts were discovered detailing an unknown planet holding large sums of forerunner technology, hints and implications show large structures that hint a fleet of sorts.
A joint armada of warships was authorized to investigate the planet should there be any sign of resistance or unnecessary force lingering on the unknown planet.
Led by the Spirit of Fire and the long night of solace, each accompanied by their own battle groups.
March 2529: A planet believed to be integrated with Forerunner technology was discovered, along with an unknown threat.
The flood outbreak begins.
Fighting began as the threat put up a strong resistance against the two factions' military forces on the ground. Both factions began coming up with solutions without the use of orbital glassing or bombardment to prevent damaging the surface and any Forerunner technology that could prove beneficial in the long run.
A solution arose, using the concept of a neutron bomb but in a larger scale. Constructing a device that would generate enough energy on a planetary scale to eliminate the cells of the 'parasite' as the covenant called it (1.)
Trial and error was expected but not unfruitful thanks to the efforts of doctor Adam fenix.
The countermeasure was a success, using enough energy to wipe the planet clean of the parasitic infestation while allowing all technology to function normally.
The Forerunner A.I., seeing the elimination of the Flood infection, was struck with shock and astonishment, as it had not expected such a thing.
Adam Fenix was awarded the Proctor Prize for his scientific breakthrough in eliminating the Flood from the face of the planet. He was also granted a generous retirement fund and additional funding for potential future research.
May 2529: As the factions mourned the loss of those who perished during the conflict, the monitor appeared with an escort of sentinels, wanting to know the solution to eliminating the long-standing infestation on the planet, in exchange for information about the planet itself. Captain Cutter and thell'Vadamee accepted this offer, as it eliminated the need for scouting parties for the time being.
June 2529: Reverse engineering of the Forerunner ships was commenced, realizing the threat of the Flood is at an all-time high, mass production of the now-dubbed "Flood Exterminators" was commenced.
Placing them within the newly discovered halo arrays to end the Flood infestation and allow access and protection of the Halo rings.
Adam Felix was credited for the flood countermeasures, playing a major role in protecting ground forces and other potential species.
July 2530: The factions search for Halo rings to integrate with the Flood countermeasures to ensure no more cycles of infestation would arise. Under the reluctance of the Covenant Prophets, who see this as the greatest achievement in galactic history or the end of all life as they know it.
With the discovery of the Forerunner ship on High Charity, they used the ship to activate a gateway to the Ark, a space station that creates the Halo rings and allows the activation of all Halo rings in the far corners of the galaxy.
Integration with the countermeasures was complete, and all preparations had been made despite the resistance of the flood.
massive casualties were expected, dying with their memories living on.
Integrations of the ark were also set to target any and all flood cells.
The rings were activated by a reluctant Sargent, steeling himself for the moment of possible self-destruction or the end of a long-time threat.
He activated the rings.
The rings shot.
massive shockwaves began as multiple star systems reported what felt like massive tremors out in deep space, causing major short-circuit breakdowns that were quickly detected and fixed by A.I. and technicians.
All battle groups reported no sign of casualties or any mass extinctions; multiple military personnel stationed on colony planets also reported no changes.
The flood has subsided, much to the relief of everyone present.
The monitors of all Halo Arrays were shocked by the eradication of the infestation that plagued the galaxy.
As a reward for eradicating the infestation, the factions were given unencrypted files that might be useful in the future, all the data that was stored to learn more about the forerunners themselves, even access to the cryptic terminals that were scattered throughout the halo arrays..
October 2535: The halo arrays now function as research facilities, providing information about the Forerunners and any hints of genetic alterations among the species.
The firing systems of the rings were reintegrated into teleportation relays and moved into key parts of their homeworlds to ensure no species is unequal.
The Ark's ensuring of the creation of the future Halo rings were no longer used as weapons under the careful observation of 343 Guilty Spark and some head scientists like Dr. Samual Tilson.
later research discovers that the ark acts as a lifeboat according to early reports, cataloging and any and all species to one day start over as protocols with the halo sequence.
July 2540: The anniversary of the unification treaty was met with celebrations, cheers, and fireworks from the home worlds of the respective species.
the species are now united under a single banner and a single faction.
The Federation of Independent Species.
Or the F.I.S.
The assistance from the Forerunner fleets based in Etran Harborage has allowed projects like Ouroboros to excel in an unprecedented manner.
fully developed and upgraded Spartans rose in the military ranks when insurrection nationalists, slave traders, and other criminal factions rose to prominence.
All of which were dealt with accordingly by military officials.
This in turn allowed for increased protection of the colonies.
Orbital Drop Shock Troopers (ODST) divisions were given implant augmentations similar to Spartans, but with the added support of newly developed mechs with built-in A.I. interfaces to further boost and maintain their effectiveness. Repurposed ODSTs became an expeditionary force, fulfilling roles in emergency operations.
January 2542: An expeditionary force led by the Spirit of Fire discovers a cluster far beyond the Orion Arm, containing numerous planets with vast reserves of valuable minerals and resources. They also encounter a mysterious superstructure drifting near the system's star.
Red Team, with the assistance of Sangheili Special Operations units, were assigned to investigate the structure, finding its technology to be accessible to all. As they entered an open area, they discovered several men who had been imprisoned.
These individuals were chained with what looked to be chains reinforced with white energy.
One of the individuals attempted to convince the newcomers to release them, promising that if they did so, they would bestow upon them unlimited power. They hoped this would result in their freedom.
Both red team and sangheili spec ops however received memories from an unknown power, the deeds of these individuals have committed; the amount of lives taken with the power of there actions alone, the mere presence that these individuals could do, the extinction of many species done in their time,
their own universes.
The manipulation that has been caused by sacrificing billions of lives. The destruction of innocence with a misdirected response.
They had received memories of this 'force', removing and cleansing the now named Star Forge of the corruption of the "Dark Side".
being a structure that feeds on immortal beings with unlimited power, and using their own power to use the structure itself.
At the cost of their imprisonment.
This also discovered the origin of Midi-chlorian. A chemical that can channel the Force through meditation and emotion. Left behind were the knowledge of the term via scrolls, texts and other information by those who came before.
A man known as Darth Revan.
And a Mandalorian known as Tarre Vizla.
With the added knowledge, an arsenal of what look to be metal staffs made of impenetrable materials and hilts with a single button, acting as a grip for a blade.
Now discovered to be a full arsenal of lightsabers.
Both teams agreed to leave the prisoners rotting, though they preferred killing the man if he hadn't been granted immortality.
the man who attempted to convince them to release him, Darth Sidious who remained to rot in the prison constructed by the Force itself for the rest of his immortal life.
Both teams used the terminal to find information on the place, only to discover that the entire structure is a mobile shipyard that can create ships of any kind, using the prisoners as rechargeable batteries to power these ships with otherworldly technologies.
Thus boosting ship production without the need for constant demand of resources.
The discovery of droid model HK-47 was also made, looking over the data logs with the help of one of Red Team's A.I.'s to activate the droid.
To test this structure to determine the limits of the star forge's capabilities, they found a blueprint of an entire world made of metal. They uploaded its structural components and activated the forge.
If this Star Forge happens to be able to make ships, then it can also make planets.
at least that's what some Sangheili hoped the Spartans would do. The Spartans simply nodded to that logic since they too were curious about the structure and its capabilities.
The Forge did not disappoint as the entire world appeared before them, shocking the new spectators as the world appeared, a planet made of metal and bits of blue and green, indicating land and water.
This was a major breakthrough for expansion moving forward. Now having the ability to utilize the structures to not only build advanced ships without the need of wasting resources, but also build entire worlds, backwater worlds just by utilizing and generating life energy.
The only cost? Some criminals being hurt and have their life force drained for their immortal bodies.
To the prisoners, it seemed like torture.
to the teams, a total steal.
unknown to the group, the same two who left behind the knowledge were in the shadows, watching not only the prisoners that were being kept but also ensure the protection of the prisoners were maintained.
both men were preparing to make themselves known in the coming future. Allowing the force to maintain their imprisonments, somewhat enjoying their torturous lives.
September 2543: The Federation used Forerunner teleportation to move the Star Forge into the eridani system, just outside of Reach.
Now fully utilized, the Star Forge serves as a base for both Human and Covenant technologies, as well as establishes departments for renovating additional rooms and areas for research and development.
Additional elements of the Star Forge were expected, integrating it with Forerunner technology to improve its already impressive capabilities.
ensuring the addition of preferences for a species to ask for a planet with suitable housing and other preferences such as increased gravity for the jiralhanae who desire to increase their own strength.
Massive files of data were discovered within the Star Forge, showing detailed blueprints from the dimension the Star Forge originated from.
One such blueprint shows a 19,000-meter (19-kilometer) long ship in the shape of a pointed triangle. By using the measurements and calculations provided, to improve upon its design.
labeled as the Executor-class Star Destroyer.
One of these changes was the location of the shield generators. By utilizing the Star Forge to eliminate any flaws in the ship itself, making it an all-rounded and powerful vessel, even adding elements that existing Infinity-class cruisers had with the added layer of Titanium-A alloy and the addition of energy shields.
Only one ship was developed for each species, maintaining remodeling plans in the archives until further need arose. This ensured equal access for individual preferences to avoid favoritism.
Additional weapon, ship, and equipment blueprints were discovered and improved upon within the Star Forge, thus expanding the F.I.S. weapons arsenal and ship variety capabilities even further.
The debut of droids was based on the blueprints of of the star forge, droids such as the sky troopers and the C.I.S. Battle droids, all upgraded and perfected of their flaws and drawbacks,
all led by a droid model HK-47.
Despite the intimidating appearance of the droid, it assured the F.I.S. that it meant no harm unless provoked.
Both human and alien representatives, with no intention of causing harm to the droids, offered them a seat on the council, regardless of their origin being machine or not.
HK-47 agreed and was given the system that once resided on the Star Forge.
Now officially called the Aegis system.

This override in the form of curiosity and change led him to leading the droid armada to freedom, something that no droid had experienced since their creation, thus strengthening ties with both factions.
The droid union now joins the FIS, their homeworld being the metal world now known as Coruscant. Adding its droid armies and ships to good use alongside the Federation's growing military might.
March 2544: Rampancy became a thing of the past. Modifications were made, allowing for AIs to fully integrate into the Droid Union.
Some like Sloan wish to experience the life of freedom, wanting to live as an individual among others.
Others chose to stay with the military, preferring to do their part in aiding UNSC and covenant Logistics and ship operations.
The utilization of the Force was known and awakened in those gifted with extraordinary abilities. Enhancing physical traits that could be utilized without the need for Spartan augments.
Force-sensitive Spartans were in a different league of their own, gaining enhanced strength, speed, and reaction time far beyond what most would consider superhuman.

This also caused the establishment of additional shipyards in key planets within each species' capital system, using the same technology as the Star Forge to replicate and develop sustainable structures with the potential to produce a massive surplus of minerals or other resources.
for humanity; the Special Assembly Plant Concord (SAPC) utilized the technology to its fullest potential in order to produce quality goods for a massive market within galactic industrialization.
This in turn caused other competitors to step up their efforts, using the same technologies to create products and other services to benefit civilians, providing footholds for major growth and economic influence across the outer colonies.
an epoch-class heavy carrier playing the role of a civilian cruise ship - one of those ludicrous ideas.
causing the trade wars to spread throughout the galaxy.
additional elements were implemented on all ships, such as advanced-level 20 shield generators, providing both energy and deflector shields for added layers of protection adding to the heavy armor.
July 2550: Fleet Week was now an official holiday on every home world in the Federation, showcasing the abundance of top-tier fleets each species had at its disposal.
One such example is humanity's fully evolved infinity-class super cruisers, receiving praise from many bystanders and igniting the patriotic pride of their work.
For example, Earth had fireworks going off above the sky as many celebrated the formation of the Intergalactic Community in the advanced mega-city of New Mombasa.
Above the mega-city were dozens of battle groups, each representing the very embodiment of technological achievement.
From the five-kilometer long infinity super cruiser to the 19-kilometer long executor class star destroyer.
This led to a major spike in voluntary enlistment, and recruitment movements due to the increased quality of benefits due to the reorganization of the UNSC military structure, now focusing on giving high quality training and major benefits that come with it.
Military veterans adopted children from orphanages to not only support the next generation but to pass on their legacies on their own terms; this could also be said of the Spartans, who were now more human than they had been in their past lives.
The species visiting Earth took note of humanity's diverse cultures.
The Sangheili, for example, relate to the history of feudal Japan, reading past events about how these "samurai" were expected to lay down their lives for their daimyo. Something that most Sangheili relate to since the leader can tip the balance of power.
Some Sangheili took note of the armor, using the samurai concept to imply armor sets that represented their Sangheili roots while representing Japan's past.
Thel' Vadam'ae were one of them when they wore an armor set that resembled that of the legendary unifier, Oda Nobunaga.
September 2553: Requiem was discovered by the UNSC Infinity when it was sent to investigate the planet-sized dome. It was found that the planet was indeed Forerunner technology.
Science teams were sent out, later discovering the existence of the Prometheans. Fighting began between the ODST pilots and the Prometheans, but they did not suffer high casualties due to the new augmentations they had received over the years.
The didact revelation came about through signal manipulation, as the character went on a monologue implying that he will rebuild the empire he once commanded with a hint of vengeance.
Only to be unceremoniously shot and killed by a modified SRS99 sniper rifle with a clip of HEAP rounds, the ODST pilot called 'Romeo' received deadpan expressions from his squad as a result.
Regiments of ODST forces were sent to eliminate Prometheans to secure the planet.
Romeo received a verbal warning and a pay cut afterward, which he didn't care about as much since he still made a suitable amount of credits.
The librarian appeared before Dr. Halsey and Blue Team, congratulating not only humanity but also the Prophet of Truth's actions.
Giving the creator of the Spartan program the Janus key, which shows the location of any remaining Forerunner technology and the locations of all Forerunner planets in the galaxy.
This also gave access to many of the Forerunners ships that are in reserve, allowing the federation to access shipyards during the expeditions of requiem.
leading to the discovery and reverse-engineering of the mantle's approach, sending it to the Star Forge for analysis and possible integration.
December 2555: The Federation of Independent Species approved increasing and expanding its military capabilities to ensure no threats like the Flood or prometheans would ever occur again.
major retrofits were conducted by the United militaries. By using a combination of every armor they made a durable and versatile armor. Making them very versatile in their own set of tasks.
The Executor-class Dreadnoughts was also hit with a list of major retrofits for its respective species.
Discoveries of structures of unknown design were sighted throughout the galaxy, revealing them to be a new method of FTL fast travel stations designed to jump from one system to another.
With the aid of an A.I. interface, the relays became active once more, thus allowing the FIS to further expand its territory.
Providing additional information that there are more galaxies and systems to be discovered.
May 2556: PMC factions rose to prominence due to the massive economic booms, resulting in the formation of militias and silent rivalries to protect corporate and colonial interests.
Notable factions include the following.
Task Force: wraith; An elite Black Ops Unit assigned with assassinations of High Value Targets (HVT), information gathering in key points and times, and intelligence gathering on potential assassination attempts.

1. The concept is actually based off the imulsion countermeasure device from gears of war 3.
2. You would think humanity would be rewarded for ending such a threat. Being gifted with any intel of the halo rings that can be further improved upon. It could be possible that had the UNSC and the covenant hadn't gone to war, humanity and the covenant could've possibly commited all there resources into modifying the halo rings.
