Mamoru, Usagi, and Chibiusa were out on a family outing Downtown, enjoying themselves as they spent their time strolling around window shopping. They also planned to go back to Juuban Park to see Chibiusa off for home.
As they did, they took notice of the lamp post banners. They could see a few of them had a picture of a circus tent that read: "Welcome to the Dead Moon Circus." They also caught sight of a few posters on some of the store windows.
Feeling curious, the three went over to one to inspect it.
"The mysterious Dead Moon Circus from the Amazon jungle makes their landing during their world tour." Usagi read.
"And they're performing Mamiana Sakaue Park," Mamoru hummed thoughtfully. "That's close by from here. Interesting."
The two then turned around, and in the distance, they could see the circus tent from where they stood. But Chibiusa saw something else that caught her interest. Just outside of a small knick-knack shop was a display of kaleidoscopes.
Chibiusa picked up one that was colored clear yet sparkling with rainbow colors similar to the color of a crystal. It was also long with a golden trim design and had a crown on top.
Usagi and Mamoru soon caught up with her, and when Usagi saw the kaleidoscopes, her eyes sparkled as she picked up a similar one.
"Wow, how pretty!" the ordango blonde gushed. "Those are glass kaleidoscopes!"
Chibiusa's eyes mischievously glinted as she looked innocently at Mamoru. "You know, something about this kaleidoscope is begging me to take it," she said. "But sadly, I don't have any money."
"Me either," concurred Usagi. "If only there were someone who could buy these for us."
Mamoru quickly realized what the two were getting at as they gave him puppy dog eyes.
"All right then," he conceded. "I'll get them."
He then took the kaleidoscopes into the shop and soon returned with them in bags.
"Thank you very much, Mamo," said Chibiusa happily. "I'll make sure to cherish it forever!"
"Yeah, me too," said Usagi. "It's the first magical gift we've ever received from you. And I've always wanted one of these."
Mamoru smiled. "You're both very welcome," he said.
Soon, they came to Juuban Park, but many people were in the area like the day before.
"It looks like it's still crowded around here," Usagi said. "Sorry, Chibiusa, but I think you should go back tomorrow morning. If you go late at night, it'll be too dangerous."
"I don't mind. I can stay a little bit longer," said Chibiusa. Then, she looked at Mamoru. "But if that's the case, Mamo, can I ask you a favor?"
"What is it?" asked Mamoru.
Later that night, Chibiusa and Usagi were over at Mamoru's place undoing their hair while in their pajamas.
You see, Chibiusa's favor was to sleep over at Mamoru's place, and naturally wanting to seize the chance, Usagi wanted to as well, after getting permission from Ikujko and Kenji. So the two were soon lying in bed playing with their kaleidoscopes.
Mamoru then came in also in his bedclothes. "Come on, you two, it's time for bed," he spoke sternly. "We have to get up early at five tomorrow so that Chibiusa can go home." he looked at his girlfriend. "And Usa, you should be getting home, too. Otherwise, I'm going to look less than trustworthy."
The two immediately turned on the puppy-dog eyes. "But I don't want to go home!" the two whined cutely.
Once again, Mamoru had to give up, unable to resist as he joined them in the bed and turned off the lights save a lamp.
"I swear, once I start raising my daughter, I'm going to be the strictest dad ever," he sighed.
As Chibiusa snuggled up against Mamoru, Usagi couldn't help but feel jealous.
"Man, little kids sure have it easy. They get anything they want," she pouted. "It makes me wish that I was a little kid again."
Chibiusa shot up at this, a bit offended. "What do you mean?! I hate being a little kid!" she huffed. She then stared off wistfully. "I want to be a big, tall, and beautiful woman! Then, Mamo and everyone else will see me as a grown-up!"
Usagi then chuckled. "Sorry, but that's not going to happen, kiddo," she said cheekily. "After all, he's your future dad, and you're his daughter."
"Would you two knock it off already?" sighed Mamoru. "Just try to get some sleep."
Chibiusa flinched, feeling like a dagger stabbed straight through her dreams. But inside, there was a specific reason why she wanted to be a grown-up, but she didn't want to say it aloud as she looked across to Usagi, who was closing her eyes to try and get some sleep.
"What I truly want is to be like Usagi," Chibiusa thought. "I wish I had longer legs, a soft chest, and soft, silky hair like hers. I'm so jealous of her that I truly wish I could be like her. Right now."
Usagi then opened her eyes and noticed Chibiusa. "Having trouble falling asleep?" she asked.
Chibiusa then gasped and quickly covered her head with the covers. "N-No, it's nothing! I'm fine," she squeaked.
"Well, you'll be going back to the thirtieth century tomorrow," said Mamoru. "I'd have a bit of trouble sleeping, too."
Chibiusa then peeked out. "Do you think you could tell me a story, Mamo?" she asked. "A bedtime story like what Mommy would tell me every night. There was one about the ancient city that sank, the mystery of the pyramids, and a cursed diamond. She also told stories about robots, vampires, and one about a mirror and the world beyond it.
"A mirror and the world beyond it?" Usagi repeated curiously. "I don't think I've ever heard of that one."
Chibiusa then began telling the story. "Beyond the mirror, on the other side, there exists a world of darkness," she said. "And they say that's why you shouldn't look in a mirror on a night of the new moon. If you do, you'll get sucked inside into the mirror world and trapped forever."
Usagi was quick to get spooked and let out a squeak of fright. "Thanks a lot, Chibiusa! Now I won't be able to look at a mirror at night again!" she squealed. "I'm going to bed now! Good night!"
She then turned to her side, facing away while pulling the covers over herself.
Mamoru smiled, chuckling as he turned off the light. "What a scaredy-cat," he said. Then, he whispered to Chibiusa. "You know, you're a lot more mature than she can be at times."
Chibiusa smiled, her eyes twinkling with hope as Mamoru lied down and went to sleep. But then, she felt her eyes grow heavy as she yawned. And so, in seconds, she fell asleep too.
In the circus tent, the Lemures were practicing their acts once again. The girls of the Amazon Quartet were also there, hard at work perfecting their tricks, too. They talked about Tiger's Eye and his second failure as they practiced.
"You've got to be kidding. So after encountering Pegasus a second time, Tiger's Eye failed again?" asked the girl in pink. "That's got to be embarrassing."
"Hey, VesVes. The Amazon Trio are your pets," said the girl in green. "You sure those guys were right for the job to find Pegasus? Because I'm starting to think it was a mistake."
"Of course, JunJun," huffed the girl in red. "This has been only the second mission they've been on, so give them a little time. They'll capture Pegasus soon enough."
"Whatever you so say," the girl in green said. "But if they keep screwing up like this, Old Lady Zirconia will be mad."
"By the way, PallaPalla," the girl in pink spoke to the girl in blue. "How's the barrier holding up?"
The girl in blue then summoned forth the same blue sphere from before and closed her eyes. "Everything's quiet," she replied. "I don't sense anything out of the ordinary. Are you worried about something, CereCere?"
"Well, I wouldn't say that," the girl in pink said. "I heard Tiger's Eye say that for the cause of his failures, he said something about these people called Guardians who keep interfering and are strong enough to destroy our Lemures. So, I'm wondering how strong they could be. Hopefully, not strong enough to mess with the barrier."
"You worry too much, CereCere," the girl in red said. "If those Guardians even try to mess with us, we can handle them when the time comes. But, until then, I'm sure the Amazon Trio can handle them. After all, the main show has yet to begin."
"And once we capture Pegasus, we'll be able to conquer this world," smirked the girl in green. "And no one can stop us, not even these "Guardians" or whatever they are."
But the girl in pink still felt a bit unsure.
Chibiusa was dreaming, sleeping peacefully in her bed.
Then, just like before, when she first saw Pegasus, she heard a bell's tinkling sound followed by a familiar voice.
"Maiden. Fair Maiden with beautiful dreams."
Chibiusa opened her eyes and what she saw made her gasp in amazement. She found herself high above the city, riding on the back of Pegasus.
"Whoa! I'm flying on the back of Pegasus!" she exclaimed with wonder.
Pegasus looked back as he spoke to her. "Do you like the view, sweet maiden?"
Chibiusa nodded with a smile as she gazed down at the numerous lights twinkling like stars. As she did, she caught sight of something below. It was an area encased in a strange dark sphere which was the barrier PallaPalla put up a while ago.
"What's that dark area over there?" Chibiusa asked Pegasus.
"It's a part of your city," replied the winged horse.
Chibiusa was surprised. "You mean that's the Juuban Shopping District?" she gasped. "But why is it like that?"
The sound of a bell came again, and Chibiusa's vision became white for a brief second. Then, when she opened her eyes and could see, she stood before Pegasus in a sky blue landscape.
"Please. Hold out your hands," said Pegasus.
Chibiusa did so, and in them, a bright rainbow-colored light shone and changed into a tiny little bell that was a beautiful clear crystal color with a small gold handle in the shape of a heart with a star with wings at the bottom.
"If you should ever need me," Pegasus said. "Ring that bell, and it will summon me."
"But who are you?" wondered Chibiusa. "I don't even know who you are."
"My name is Helios," he introduced. "Fair maiden, I know you may not know much about me, but you can depend on me to help you. So, please, lend me your powers, for I need your help."
Before Chibiusa could ask what, a large cage encased the white horse and started to move away from her. The pink ordango tried to chase after it, but it got further and further away as it began to disappear.
"Please. I wish to save Elysion," the white horse continued to speak. "I must have the Golden Crystal."
"Helios! Wait!" Chibiusa cried out.
But the cage had disappeared, and Helios along with it.
The next thing Chibiusa knew, she had fallen out of bed and bopped her head on the floor, waking her up. She wasn't hurt but was still somewhat groggy.
Then, as she got up from the floor, something fell out, making an audible clink. The little pink ordango looked to see what it was and what she saw made her gasp.
It was the crystal bell, which was the same one she received in her dream.
"So, it wasn't a dream," Chibiusa murmured.
Usagi and Mamoru were still asleep.
Then, Chibiusa got dressed, packed her things, and wrote a little note placing it between her parents, and without saying a word, quietly left the room.
Not too long after that, Usagi and Mamoru woke up.
"I had a weird dream," Usagi mumbled sleepily.
"So did I," Mamoru yawned. "It was about Chibiusa and that Pegasus."
Usagi then gasped. "Wait, Mamoru, you had the same dream?!"
Mamoru was surprised, too. But then, he noticed the note Chibiusa left on the bed. It read:
"I'll go home by myself. Don't worry. I'll be back to visit again. Bye.
From, Chibiusa."
Usagi and Mamoru could only look at each other in surprise.
It wasn't too long before Chibiusa came to Juuban Park. This time, the park was empty, and there was no one around, which was the perfect time to go back to the future. However, Chibiusa now had second thoughts about leaving, but she didn't know why.
Then, she remembered Helios and what he said to her in her dream.
"He looked so serious and desperate for help," she thought.
But she quickly dismissed her doubts, took out her space-time key, and held it high.
"O, Guardian of Time!" she commanded. "Tear apart the heavens and open the Door of Space and Time for me! I summon thee by your true name! Omnipotent God of Time, Chronos! Guide me on my journey, protect this lone traveler, and grant me the path of light!"
The time key began to shine in bright light and shot a beam into the sky. However, instead of the way of the time corridor opening, the light hit the barrier PallaPalla created and blocked it. As a result, it crackled and sparked, sending a bolt of lightning straight towards Chibiusa and striking the ground around her.
Chibiusa jumped in surprise, screaming as she dropped her key and the bell she received from Helios. But she was more surprised than she was hurt.
"The space-time Key! It didn't work!" the pink ordango gasped.
Then, she heard a voice.
"Chibiusa!"
Usagi, along with Mamoru, rushed over to see what had happened. But then, as Chibiusa picked up the key along with the bell, the bell made a single ding sound, and almost immediately, Helios appeared before them.
"It's Helios!" cried Chibiusa.
Then, as quickly as he appeared, Helios faded away, disappearing into the air. Chibiusa then turned to Mamoru and Usagi.
"Usagi, Mamo! Please, help the pegasus!" she begged. "I don't care if I can't go back right now! He's desperate and needs help, and I want to help him!"
"Hold on, Chibiusa. Calm down," Usagi spoke calmly. "Just take a second to breathe."
"Why don't we go somewhere else to talk?" suggested Mamoru. "Then, Chibiusa can explain everything. We should contact Luna and Artemis, too."
Usagi answered with a nod, and the family went off.
Back at their base, Chibiusa's attempt to return to her own time did not go unnoticed by PallaPalla, who used the stone to ascertain the situation.
"Something's happened. I can sense it," said PallaPalla. "Someone attempted to break our barrier. I'm certain of it."
"You're kidding," JunJun spoke. "I didn't think anyone would notice or try to break it."
"Do you think it could have been those Guardians Tiger's Eye was talking about?" wondered CereCere thoughtfully. "That would make them the most likely suspects."
"There's only one way to find out for sure," smirked VesVes. "Sounds to me that we should investigate."
She then brandished her whip and gave it a mighty crack, and when she did, a giant lion appeared.
"Now, my cute little kitty, why don't you go on a hunt and find the suspicious ones for me?" ordered VesVes.
The lion let out a roar in response and then disappeared.
At the Game Center Crown, with Luna, Artemis, and Harusuke joining them, Chibiusa explained what had happened in her dream and the Space-Time key failing.
"So, that pegasus was named Helios, and he wants to save a place called Elysion," said Usagi. "But he needs the Golden Crystal to do that. Is that right?"
Chibiusa answered with a nod.
"This all sounds completely crazy," said Harusuke. "And not just because this creature has a name."
Mamoru was also perplexed, but he also had a sense of deja vu. "Elysion," he thought. "I think I've heard that name before, but I can't remember where."
"So, what do you think, Sis?" Harusuke asked his sister. "Have you ever heard of this Elysion or the Golden Crystal?"
"I'm not sure," replied Usagi. "I'm still wondering about who this pegasus Helios is."
"That aside, I'm still surprised that the Space-Time didn't work," said Luna. "It's worked in the past, yet it's not working now."
"Maybe we can analyze it when the arcade closes," suggested Artemis. "Until then, it seems that Chibiusa won't be going to the future anytime soon."
Suddenly, there was a loud commotion outside. The group then looked up to see that people were frantically running while screaming with fear. Usagi and Harusuke then stopped a male passing by.
"Hey! What's going on?" asked Usagi.
"A lion's running amok in the city!" was the male's reply.
"A lion?!" exclaimed Harusuke.
Usagi and Chibiusa looked at one another and nodded, silently telling each other that they had to help. The two ordangos then took off running out of the arcade.
"Usa! Chibiusa!" Mamoru cried.
"Hey! Where are you going?!" the male yelled. "You're going the wrong way!"
"Don't worry about us!" Harusuke told him. "Just get to safety while you still can!"
He then ran off after them. Mamoru was about to give chase, but then the sharp pain in his chest suddenly returned, making him hiss.
"Not again! This stabbing pain!" he winced internally.
Usagi, Mamoru, and Chibiusa ran past the panicking people and made their way down the street. And it wasn't too long before they saw the lion, slowly prowling as it made its way. As soon as it saw the three, it growled while barring its fangs, its eyes gleaming with bloodlust.
"Chibiusa! Harusuke! It's time to transform!" said Usagi.
"Right!" acknowledged Chibiusa and Harusuke.
Usagi and Chibiusa then held up their brooches while Harusuke pulled up his sleeve, exposing his bracelet.
"MOON COSMIC POWER MAKE UP!"
"MOON PRISM POWER MAKE UP!"
"SOLAR CRYSTAL POWER SHINE ON!"
Transformation Sequence: Usagi
Usagi's Cosmic Heart Compact opens, revealing the pink heart-shaped crystal inside, waving her hand over it. It flashes twice and erupts in pink light. Usagi is now standing in the middle of a light blue heart spinning to the right. She stands one leg holding up her arms and begins pirouetting in the opposite direction, going faster until, in a burst of light, pink ribbons envelop her torso and midsection, transforming into her leotard. She elegantly stretches out her arms, and pink ribbons cover them, forming into her gloves. Next, she raised her right foot high with incredible flexibility, and pink ribbons cloaked it into her boots. The heart made of blue light then turns into a circle of sparkles swirling around her waist, forming her skirt and bow. Now no longer in light, Usagi spins around a couple of times like a ballerina and takes a slight bow. As she comes out from her bow, a crescent moon mark glows in the middle of her forehead. Then, a tiara appears bearing a gold symbol of the moon, her earrings, choker, and her ordango covers. Finally, Usagi opens her eyes, her transformation now complete, and strikes her signature pose.
Transformation Sequence: Chibiusa
The Prism Heart Compact opens, revealing Chibiusa's Silver Crystal inside it. It begins to glow pink until a heart made of light pops up from it, flipping and overtaking the screen, revealing Chibiusa bathed in light with the Prism Heart Compact in the center of her chest. The compact bursts with pink ribbons that tighten and wrap around Chibiusa's body, making her leotard. Chibiusa then spins around as a red bow appears where her compact is on her chest. Pink ribbons then wrap around her legs, forming her pink boots and around her waist, forming her skirt and red bow at the back. Her gloves materialize next, and white-bordered red circular accents on her odango appear, along with pointed white fittings resembling a rabbit's ears, a golden tiara with a red gem, a pink choker around her neck, and pink studded earrings. Her transformation finished, Chibiusa winks and then strikes her signature pose with a crescent moon in a pink background shining brightly.
Transformation Sequence: Harusuke (Post Crystal)
Harusuke's hand waves over the Sunstone Crystal, and it begins to pulse with light until it shines brightly. Harusuke, now shrouded in light, holds his hand with the Sunstone Crystal up high and throws his fist to the floor, and his symbol appears beneath him. Light encases his legs up to his hips, and in a burst of light, his boots, belt, and additional armor on his thighs materialize. Then his right encompasses his right arm from hand to shoulder, and his gloves, along with some armor, appear, and the same happens to his left hand. Harusuke then punches his fists together, creating a spark of light, and crosses his arms as his chest gets wrapped in light. Harusuke then throws his arms out, and his chest plate appears, the symbol in the middle glowing brightly. Finally, his helmet appears on his head, covering up his entire head, leaving his face exposed. Harusuke opens his eyes smiling with confidence, his transformation now complete, and assumes his signature pose, with the sun appearing in the background while his symbol overlaps it.
The lion growled menacingly as the three guardians bravely stood before it, ready to take it down. The lion then rushed at them and pounced, brandishing its claws. The three guardians quickly jumped out of the way splitting into three different directions as the lion landed on the ground.
Sailor Chibi Moon then attacked using her Pink Moon Rod. "PINK SUGAR HEART ATTACK!"
A powerful beam of hearts erupted forth at the beast, but with a mighty swipe of its paw, the lion deflected the attack with ease and leaped at the little guardian.
"Sailor Chibi Moon, look out!" yelled Sailor Moon.
But then a beam of light wrapped around the giant cat's muzzle, clamping it shut. It was Solaris using his Solar Binding. Now enraged, the lion struggled to try and get free, but the guardian of the sun stood firm.
"Now, Sailor Moon! Take this thing out before it breaks free!" Solaris yelled. "I don't know how much longer I can keep this up! This kitty's tougher than it looks!"
Sailor Moon summoned forth her Spiral Heart Moon Rod, took aim, and used her signature move.
"MOON SPIRAL HEART ATTACK!"
A massive spiraling beam of hearts shot out straight towards the lion from her Spiral Heart Moon Rod. But unfortunately, the lion was able to break free of the bindings and let out a massive roar, which was so loud it released a powerful shockwave that made the area rumble, deflected Sailor Moon's attack, and blew the three guardians back, sending them to the ground.
Sailor Moon and the others were not only shaken but also shocked.
Now even more angry and bloodthirsty, the lion growled as it stalked Sailor Moon and Chibi Moon, getting ready to attack again.
"Now what'll we do?!" said Sailor Chibi Moon. "We're not strong enough to deal with this thing!"
"This lion is way too strong for us!" grunted Sailor Moon as she got up. "If only we could transform into our Super forms!" However, she remained determined. "But even so, we can't give up now!"
Then, Sailor Chibi Moon remembered the bell she had received from Helios. So she dug it out from her person, and when she took it out, she heard a familiar voice.
"Maiden! I can help you if you summon me! Only you, a girl who possesses a heart wanting to protect beautiful dreams, can do it! I can give you and your comrade my power! All you need to do is call out my name and shout these words: Twinkle Yell!"
Sailor Chibi Moon didn't know what would happen, but she knew that it was the only way. The lion then dashed forward, letting out a roar as it sprung straight towards them.
"Sailor Moon! Sailor Chibi Moon!" Solaris yelled.
But Sailor Chibi Moon raised the bell high while making it ring and shouted.
"I summon you, Helios! Please lend us your power! HELIOS, TWINKLE YELL!"
At her command, a burst of light erupted from above, blinding and repelling the lion as it shone.
Solaris gasped. "That light again!" he gasped. "That means...!"
Then, both Sailor Moon and Chibi Moon's brooches began to shine with radiance as they instantly changed.
Sailor Moon's was now a brilliant shade of pink with gold trims, the pink sparkling and jewel-like with a crescent moon in the middle, a small crown on top, and a pair of wings on the sides.
Sailor Chibi Moon's brooch was shaped in a pink jeweled heart with a dark pink trim, a gold crown with a star adorned with a crescent moon, and wings on the sides.
Both of the guardians were amazed.
"My brooch is overflowing with power!" exclaimed Sailor Moon.
"Mine, too!" said Sailor Chibi Moon. "And they both changed!"
They then heard Helios again.
"Your brooches have been transformed with my power. To summon this power, shout out these words: Moon Crisis Make Up!"
Sailor Moon and Chibi Moon looked at each other and repeated the words.
"MOON CRISIS MAKE UP!"
Transformation Sequence: Usagi and Chibiusa.
Both Usagi's Crisis Moon Compact and Chibiusa's Chibi Moon Compact open and their crystals inside of them. They both begin to flash until they erupt with pink light. Usagi and Chibiusa, while enveloped in light with their compacts affixed to the middle of their chests, stand side by side as pink ribbons made of light burst from their brooches, trailing and flapping in the wind like capes. First, as she turns around, they wrap around Usagi, forming her leotard, and the same happens to Chibiusa. Next, the two stood back-to-back, bending backward elegantly as their skirt, boots, and ribbons materialized. As they move around now face-to-face, Chibiusa kisses Usagi's cheek, and as she pulls away, her tiara and other accessories appear along with Usagi's. The two then open their eyes, their transformations completed, they both turn one and strike their signature poses while a yellow moon with a pink with roses on the side appear in the background.
"The Pretty Guardian in a sailor suit!" the blonde super guardian proclaimed.
"Guardian of Love and Justice!" the pinkette super guardian also proclaimed.
"Super Sailor Moon!"
"Super Sailor Chibi Moon!"
"And now, in the name of the Moon, I'll punish you!" the two super guardians said together.
Solaris was so shocked that his mouth slacked open behind his mask and his eyes were wide in awe. "You got to be kidding!" he exclaimed. "They transformed into their super forms! Without the Holy Grail!"
Then, two little balls of light appeared before the super guardians, and in two pops, two familiar objects appeared in their hands.
Those objects were the glass kaleidoscopes they received.
Both of them also underwent a rapid change, becoming two new rods. They kept their glass-like design, only now they had handles with heart-shaped gold guards with a moon on top with wings on the side, and at their tips with a crown-like jewel.
"These are your new weapons. You heard them call before because you're connected to them," Helios's voice said. "They are the Moon Kaleidoscope and the Chibi Moon Kaleidoscope. Now, finish that creature by calling out, "Moon Gorgeous Meditation." "
Super Sailor Moon and Chibi Moon returned their attention to the lion, who growled menacingly and then bounded towards them, but this time, they were ready. Both of them brandished their rods as they did before and, while attacking together, unleashed their new attack.
"MOON GORGEOUS MEDITATION!"
Both of their wands unleashed a might blast of rainbow-colored energy in the form of shards of glass significantly more potent than before. The lion got struck by the attack letting out a roar in agony, and in a burst of black smoke, while shattering like glass, it was destroyed.
"Why to go, you two!" congratulated Solaris. "You beat it! And from the looks of it, it was some kind of Lemures."
Then, Mamoru rounded the corner. "Super Sailor Moon! Super Sailor Chibi Moon! Solaris!"
All three of the guardians then smiled and waved.
Then, Helios appeared before them. "What truly brilliant power," he spoke, a smile evident in his voice. "Just as I expected."
"Thank you, Helios," said Sailor Chibi Moon gratefully.
The pegasus nodded and then disappeared.
Mamoru once again began to feel familiarity. "Helios. Now that I think about it, I feel like I've heard that name before," he thought. "But I don't know where."
As Sailor Moon and the others took a minute to rest, VesVes and PallaPalla stood on the rooftop, having to have seen the entire fight.
"So, those guys are the guardians, eh?" VesVes spoke scowling. "I'll admit, they're something else, but I can't believe they defeated my lion."
"Well, at least we can say for certain that Tiger's Eye was telling the truth about them," said PallaPalla. "And they were ones responsible for trying to break the barrier."
VesVes then smirked. "Normally, I would think that we should go after them for payback, but I say we wait this out for a bit," she said. "I want to know more about these guardians and discover their weaknesses. Then, we can fill them to brim with nightmares and then crush them."
"I like that idea," PallaPalla also smirked. "You can be such a deviant sometimes, VesVes."
The two girls then disappeared from the rooftop, heading back to the Dead Moon Circus.
