So much is about to go down in this one. A man who is in need of help from some Nosh, a blonde young woman making her announcement on what she'll do next and another announcement for something big for them this summer. Chapter 685: The Nosh problem and two announcements…
(August 07. The Loud House, Franklin Avenue. Royal Woods Michigan.)
The Lewis' have arrived and also Amanda Bright and they look confused as to why they are even here. Lincoln looks towards Michelle and he asks her. "Mom. What the heck are we doing here today? Did something happen?"
Michelle explains to them. "Leni told me that we have to come here today." She knocks on the front door and Rita opens it. "Hey Rita, so Leni said that we should come here today? What's going on?"
Before Rita could even answer, Lynnard Loud intervenes and he looks panicked. "What's going on?! I'll tell ya what's going on! My restaurant is in deep fried dish danger!" he then cries into his hands. This has them shocked and confused. Even Rita doesn't even know what's happening with her husband.
Amanda then asks. "Lynnard, what are you talking about?"
Lynnard then stops sobbing and he looks to them and he explains. "There is this app called Nosher and it basically let's folks rate the restaurants with either a thumbs up or thumbs down, and there's this user by the name of New_Nosher_123 and the user gave me 30 thumbs down! If I get more then my restaurant is doomed to shut down! I don't even know what to do anymore!"
Lynnard sobs on the ground and they have no idea what the heck just happened. Luna and Lincoln are deep at thought on who this New_Nosher_123 is all about or who it could be. Luna then speaks. "Chances this person could be someone who has eaten at Lynn's Table before."
Lynnard is shocked to hear this. "What?! But I thought folks liked my cooking and my restaurant and everything that changed ever since…"
"Not everyone dad" replied Luan and she shows up. "I have been helping at the restaurant a couple of times when they do actually need some backup, and I have observed everything that goes by. Our possible suspects are either… Principal Huggins, Ms. Bernardo and Scoots. But I feel like Scoots could be the one. We all know how difficult she can be."
Now that one they all agree since Scoots is known as the rude, tough and mean customer in town, but then Amanda then has an idea. "Hang on a minute." She goes to Lynnard. "You're phone please."
Lynnard is confused. "Ummm…okay?" he hands Amanda his cell phone. "But I don't know what you're going with and my phone. I just wanna know who the Nosher is and figure out how to…"
"And found New_Nosher_123" replied Amanda. This surprises everyone and she shows them the Nosher app and the user on the phone is New_Nosher_123. They then look towards Lynnard confused. The father of the Loud's is shocked.
Michelle also sees what is happening. "Okay. So Lynn, you butt dialed, well butt Noshed yourself. So, you're pretty much the reason why you're restaurant is getting thumbs down. You just Noshed yourself."
Lynn Sr. is shocked and chuckles nervously. "I guess I should've looked closely. I also forgot I am also part of the Nosh thing and my account." He's about to take the phone back but Rita takes it. "What?"
Rita looks to her husband sternly. "Honey, you'll get this phone back once you fixed this butt dialing problem you have." The other Loud's show up and heard everything and deep down they are glad this is resolved otherwise they might end up helping Lynnard for nothing.
Leni then speaks. "Everyone. There's something I need to say…" they all look towards Leni, and Kurt Logann is with her as well. Leni sighs and she explains. "Guys, now that the old and ditzy Leni is gone and my mind more focused than before, I have to announce that I have found which college I am going to!" this is a shocker for everyone.
Rita then asks. "Leni, this is amazing! Where is it located?"
Lynnard looks nervous. "Please don't let it be far."
Hearing Lynnard say that has Lori concerned. Leni then continues. "It was a big struggle but I found one, though at first I thought about what Carlota offered about a college in Great Lakes City, but I am not going to deal with being close to Carl Casagrande and that Parrot possibly returning." That one they can agree on
"Then I thought about going to the same college as Kurt which is legit states far from Michigan. But I chose not to." This is alright with Kurt , but the others didn't see that one coming. "But know this, once I do graduate from College, I wanna move to Tennessee with Kurt and be close to him and his life there."
Kurt blushes hearing this and the others are happy for Leni, even Rita is happy to see Leni growing up. Lynnard on the other hand doesn't like the idea.
Leni then continues. "So, the college where I am going to is right here in Royal Woods. The community college, because that's where Miguel and Fiona go and also Jackie and Mandee are also going there. A new course is fashion and business is there and we are totes going to be part of that one." All of them are happy for Lynnard.
Leni then continues before they hug her. "Another thing. I will be staying with Jackie and Mandee in the same apartment building as them. That means, I won't be here in the Loud House, and so I will spend the remaining summer with you guys till I go." Now that one shocks them but they are alright with it.
"Good job Leni" replied Lori. "You're doing the right thing and growing up into a strong, smart and independent woman with choices. We're all very proud of you little sister."
"Thanks guys" replied Leni. They all congratulate Leni and her choice and even Kurt is happy for her. Rita notices her husband has tears, he is not happy that Leni has to leave to go to the community college. Looks like Rita has to hold back her husband once the day has come for Leni to leave.
Michelle sees that this is the perfect time to tell them. "Everyone." They all look towards Michelle Lewis. "Amanda and I have been planning this as the last summer time trip for the month. We are all gonna go on a one week family road trip across the country, well not to some locations. But it will be a one week trip and we have coordinated the places where we're going."
Hearing this shocks them all and they cheer. Leni feels like this is a good time for her to spend some more summer time with her family. Amanda then speaks. "We should all prepare to pack our stuff needed because this is going to be one long road trip." They all head off to their rooms and pack.
Kurt decides to head out and check on his little sister. Lincoln and Luna embrace Amanda and Michelle. The two women also hug them, they knew they would love this kind of trip, but then Rita asks. "This is a great idea and all, but we're going to need a big ride."
Michelle and Amanda smirk. "We got that one handled."
A/N: Yup, Road Trip inbound so who knows what will happen and it looks like Leni has made her choice and it's going to be good for her to go to college and as for Lynnard…. That was too close. I do hope that you all enjoyed reading this new chapter everyone.
