I'm writing this just the morning after my first ever night shift at Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizza Plex. I guess the main reason I'm writing is to vent about thee stresses this job will inevitably give me, better to start early then leave it too late. Also to keep tabs on the animatronics, and to have a rough timeline of my time here. If I can recap my notes, well I say notes but it's more of a diary if I'm being honest, and if I find that one animatronic is progressively becoming weirder, maybe I can stop something bad from happening before it happens.
Alright, so I got the job! I don't understand why management insisted I start my career working for Fazbear entertainment as a night guard, but here I am. I wasn't expecting much from my first night, and I didn't exactly get much. The main emotion to the whole situation was nervousness, I get that a lot whenever I do new things, let alone a new job. I had heard that the previous night guard here was really good, so I'll try my best to be as damn close to, if not better. Apparently he had fought killers to protect the place, I think that's trying a little too hard. Also, I heard he was dating the wolf, no luck with the real women I suppose. One thing I do hope is that the pay is decent.
Orientation was pretty boring, but definitely necessary. learning the ropes was understandably crucial. Not much to it, just kinda call the cops if anything weird happens and let management know. Hardest part of this job will be staying awake. I had met a couple of the animatronics during my first night, I think they were Glamrock Freddy, I mean who could forget his name and face, and also the green alligator, I forget his name. There are only four of them, I shouldn't be forgetting, yet I am.
My instructor guiding me through the night was a guy named Thomas. Nothing too special with him, just doing his job I suppose. He was kinda cute, nothing too write home about though. He told me the animatronics each have their own personalities and little quirks and triggers, so... I guess I just gotta be careful with what I say around them. Freddy's trigger was Bonnie, understandably, but he had another one, it was Gregory. I looked at Thomas with the strangest glare. And the alligator's trigger was like... Oh, there were two for him as well. I think they were something like, burntrap, and William Afton. For some reason. I guess this place had a dark history or something I don't know. I'm not here to piss anyone off though, I just wanna grab my cash and get out. Nothing good would come from an alligator biting my hand because I was thinking out loud.
He also told me the Wolf's trigger word, Damn, forgot her name again. Anyways, the word was Cooper, again, for some strange reason. Maybe that was the name of the guy that was dating her, actually that would make sense. I don't have a boyfriend but I bet if I did and I suddenly lost him, hearing his name would definitely hurt. Speaking of the wolf, she cries a lot, like, a stupid amount. When ever I walked passed her room she would be faintly sobbing. I remember this one time last night, Thomas was doing something, and I was walking around the place on my own in an area called 'Rockstar Row'. Huh, funny how I remember that. Anyways, I was walking, then I passed the wolf's room. she had her curtains open just a little bit, enough for me to peer in.
For starters, she was cute as hell. I can now see why a human would want to date her. Her hair. Was. Luscious. Not jealous at all. She was a witch who had everyone under her spell. Anyways, she sat in her chair and had her head buried in her hands crying, she kept mumbling the same name through her tears, Cooper. So I guess that's even more evidence. And, I know she's a robot and all, but if I didn't know any better, she's a regular human crying about a heart break. Damn, technology has progressed. But yeah, I felt bad for her. I wanted to go in there and hug her because, A) She's so incredibly gorgeous, and B) She needed it. But I didn't. That might have been a mistake, I don't know. But what I do know is that she will probably be a little bit of a pain if I'm being honest. Having a robot emotionally unstable is a sure fire way of making things difficult for me.
Anyways, all was good for the most part last night. No real dramas, no killers, no nothing. Didn't really know what I was expecting. In regards to the animatronics, Freddy was cool. He just walked with Thomas and I, just keeping us company. He'll be fine to work with, if anything I bet he'll do my job for me. I guess I should've expected the main character to be almost perfect. I say almost because it was only one night. God knows what else this place has in store for me, or what the animatronics are really like. The alligator was a little strange, but mostly all good. There seemed to be something wrong with him, but I'm just not sure what it was. I'm confident Thomas felt it too. He followed us similarly to Freddy, he was Ok during that, but when we met him... Something was off.
Anyways. Those were the only two I had met tonight, looking forward to the rest of the week. Especially nervous about meeting the pretty wolf, like butterflies. Ya know what? Forget the name, that's what she should be known as, The Pretty Wolf. Tear down all the... Roxy! That's what her name was. Should've been easy to remember that one. As I was saying, tear down all the Roxy posters and replace them with, Come see the Pretty Wolf... I'm sure that would do wonders for profits.
Continuing on, Thomas had shown me around a third of the whole entire Pizza Plex. I'll say it now, the place is fucking enormous. I don't know where they get the money for stuff like this, when almost every other Fazbear Entertainment establishment has flopped. It would take like 20 minutes or more to walk from one side to the other. Not to mention it has like a bajillion floors. I've got a map in front of me that one of those creepy map bots gave me, and it has... 7 floors... Holy shit... I have too monitor all this on my own? And I'm not counting those staff bots, they're useless pieces of junk. Speaking of that map bot, I exited the elevator into the atrium and the damn thing silently rolled up by me, before scaring the hell out of me. "WoUlD YoU LiKE a MaP?" No I wouldn't, leave me the hell alone. I took one anyways... Felt like it would kill me if I didn't.
I'm getting side tracked, he had shown me the atrium, Rockstar Row, Fazerblast, and Monty golf. The place is beautiful at night, although I've never been during the day, so it might be what it always looks like. It all looks like a well decorated and lit up Christmas tree, I'm a sucker for the neons. Love 'em to bits. Anyways, that's about it for this first entry, hopefully I don't die while working here, looking forward to the future and I'll update soon.
"How you like her so far?" A thick, American accent spoke.
"She seems nice enough. With time I'm sure we'll all get along fine." A familiar voice spoke back, defeated. The last few nights had been extra depressing for all the mascots. The departure of two, both loved by all, extra loved by some had taken it's toll, alas this was only the beginning of the pain. The new night guard was in for trouble, she was no therapist.
The bear gloomily walked towards Roxy's room. He heard faint crying as he approached. He want surprised, not one bit. He knocked before opening the door, he didn't even wait for a response.
"Roxy. You missed the new night guard." His tone was beyond that of monotone, not to mention he didn't even wait for her to stop crying to speak to her. He left before he heard a response. Freddy heard the crying continue as he walked away, it got louder.
Freddy supposed him telling her that only made her realise there were fairytale miracles, and Cooper was genuinely gone.
Huh... What are you doing here? This is a secret chapter! You're not supposed to read this, you already have haven't you? That was a personal journal entry... You shouldn't have seen that. You need to leave... Now! Go! Unless you want more...
