I don't own Ben 10.
Chapter 58:
Omnitrix City; Tennyson Tower; June 9th, 2024; 6:44PM
Gwendolyn's cape flapped behind her as she walked quickly through the metallic doors sliding open to either side revealing the command center where Cooper sat behind his desk with its many holographic monitors. "I need a way to Galvan Prime and I need it now," she demanded, sticking her head through one of the holograms into his face, her palms slapping against the flat surface of the desk.
Cooper tilted his head and dispersed the hologram she was jutting her skull through with a single lazy gesture of his hand, "Okay… can I ask why?" he asked, even as he actively began checking his teleportation array with his technopathy.
A blur of red and black and zipped in through the same entrance only having not waited for the doors to open like Gwendolyn had, phasing through them and transforming back into his human base form with a flash of crimson light, "It appears that Ben Tennyson has been summoned to Galvan for some reason-"
Cooper scoffed and put his hands behind his head, leaning back in his computer-chair, "Okay, relax, Ben is a big-boy and has been on other planets before, no need to rush," he insisted, not understanding why their expressions made no change even after he pointed that out, "What?"
Gwendolyn put her hand over her forehead and caressed it for a moment to fight off the headache she could feel oncoming, "Jennifer ended up there with him…"
"Oh," Cooper blinked a few times, looking between Albedo and Gwendolyn a few times before the realization really set in, "Oh, shit…" he announced before sitting up quickly knocking a few stacks of paper off the corner of his desk, "I'm setting up the teleportation array we used to rescue you from Anur Validus but, something isn't right…"
Albedo folded his arms over his chest, "How do you mean 'not right'? Is your system down?"
"The teleportation array is working just fine but," Cooper narrowed his eyes, flickering with neon bright-blue energy that formed circuitry leading from his sclera into his pupils. He summoned another holographic screen for them to look at displaying the readings and a visual representation of Galvan Prime, "The planet's defense grid is keeping all teleportation beams away from the surface, I couldn't get you within a thousand miles of a breathable atmosphere…"
Gwendolyn brought her hands up and slammed them down on the desk once again out of frustration, her strength dented the flat surface and sent sparks out the sides of the highly-advanced touch-screen systems within the desk, "Fine… then I'll make the portal myself," she took a quick inhale and made her way for the door.
"Galvan Prime is tens of thousands of light-years away, the power you'd need for a portal like that… its more than is in the sun," Cooper pointed out, attempting to follow her to the door, putting a hand on her shoulder, "Think this through."
Gwendolyn stopped and turned around, "I can't sit around and do nothing, not anymore, I have to use the Alpha Rune… it has more than enough power to-"
Albedo interrupted, adding his two-cents, "Agreed, when you were Sorceress Supreme it had more than enough power to do what you're suggesting, but it has been sometime since you've taken that title and used the rune," he was right, it had been a few years since she'd utilized the full powers of the Alpha Rune and she wasn't sure she could still manage it, "Maintaining the power of the Alpha Rune isn't as easy as you have let on and we're aware of the risks-"
Gwendolyn was the one to interrupt this time, sick of hearing reasons why she shouldn't help her family, "That's the love of my life and daughter on that planet without me, the longer I wait the worse it gets…" she glanced at Albedo with a knowing nod, "You coming, or not?" knowing that Cooper's last mission with Aggregor was truly his last, with his injured leg, he would only be called into action if the Universe truly depended on it, and they weren't sure of anything yet.
Albedo nodded back at her, not saying another word as he followed her out the door, "We'll retrieve the Alpha Rune from the vault and you can resume your position as Sorceress Supreme temporarily, possibly you'll achieve the necessary power."
As they walked down a corridor and even passed a few workers that were sometimes in awe of them and other times it was just another day-of-the-week to see the heroes nonchalantly walking through the building, "Not how it works, you can draw some power from the Rune but, to use it this way, to use it the way Charmcaster used it… you have to give yourself to it completely," Gwendolyn narrowed her eyes with determination, coming to a conclusion on her own, "I cant just be 'Gwen the stay at home Mom that picks her daughter up from class and goes to PTA meetings' I have to be dedicated; mediation, training… it's a whole different lifestyle."
They came upon a vault at the end of a turn in the hall they were walking, she pressed her hand against the scanner, leaning down where it could then scan her eyes, she could have just teleported in but, she was unsure if expending power unnecessarily would be a good idea before going into battle, "Are you sure about this?" he asked as the thick door slid open, revealing a long cylindrical glass casing going from the floor into the ceiling made specially to contain the Alpha Rune's mystical properties.
"I'm sure…" Gwendolyn said with a seriousness in her voice she had not heard since she stormed Prometheus' castle all those years ago. She reached out and placed her hand on the glass with her eyes locked on the rune while Albedo pressed buttons on a security panel behind her, lowering the glass casing into the ground. She grabbed hold of it and immediately her eyes were flushed with a bright neon-turquoise flame that encompassed her pupils and trailed up, out of her eyes, into the air around her face.
…
76,162 Light Years Away
Galvan-Prime; Science-Center; June 9th, 2024; 7:02PM
The magnitude of the powers clashing above them was indescribable, it was as though God and Satan were dueling for the fate of existence right before their eyes; though, this wasn't going in the favor of God unlike the biblical canon. Malware was stepping forward, his beam growing closer to Ultimate Way Big as the bright blue energy became shorter and shorter with every step. The ground at their feet cracked apart forming a massive crater around the collision of their beams, bolts of wild lightning struck the ground as well tearing apart the landscape and setting it ablaze with blue flames. As the Evolved To'kustar took a step back, the wind from his foot stepping down on the flames put them out almost instantly; Jennifer was biting her nails nervously, looking up as her father was quickly losing ground in the beam struggle that threatened to consume the planet below them.
Suddenly, from behind them, a wormhole tore open through the fabric of reality where familiar mystical symbols surrounded a swirling vortex of orange-yellow light; from the portal Gwendolyn in her skintight black and blue battle suit with her navy-blue cloak over her shoulders, cape billowing in the wind as behind her a speedster came through as well. Though it seemed the stability of the wormhole was collapsing in on itself and within seconds, it was gone; Gwendolyn brushed a lock of her short orange-auburn hair out of her eyes but, didn't even look up at the obvious destruction, she immediately knelt down in front of her daughter who was shaking with fear and adrenaline.
"What happened? Are you okay?" She shouted with a concerned tone and expression, grabbing her by the shoulders and looking her up and down, observing for any scrapes or cuts.
"I-I'm fine, Mom, we were teleported away and…" Jennifer trailed off when a loud booming footstep sent a shockwave out across the landscape once again, shocking her from her focused concern on her daughter, and shifting it to her husband.
Gwendolyn slowly turned around, glancing up at the massive battle and beam struggle going on above them, tearing apart the ground as who she had to assume was the enemy closed in on Ben. Albedo didn't address his former boss in the slightest, only transforming back from his Kinceleran form to look up at the destruction being caused before them, "I must help him," he reached for his Ultimatrix and twisted the dial, looking over the crimson holographic image of a To'kustar until Azmuth finally spoke up.
"Wait! You'll only make this worse! He can-" Azmuth tried to explain his reasoning but, Albedo couldn't help but argue like it was an old habit.
"I've grown since last we met, I don't worsen things anymore, I make them better, I help people!" Albedo had been waiting a very long time to say that to his former mentor but, he was interrupted in his angry rant when Gwendolyn pulled on his sleeve, prompting him to look back up at the battle.
"I think he means that…" she pointed up where Malware had consumed the beam Ultimate Way Big had been attacking with and was now struggling to take over the rest of his arms, having enveloped them in his essence as soon as he got close enough. They struggled back and forth for a few minutes until Malware yanked Ultimate Way Big forwards with immense strength, forcing him into a bear-hug of sorts where he slowly began consuming his body with black and crimson ooze. It stretched over his arms and across his torso, wrapping tendrils around Way Big's neck to keep him pinned, "I told you the power of the Omnitrix would be mine, and now it is! Soon all will be Malware!" as Ben was seemingly swallowed whole by the sentient virus, Albedo, Gwendolyn, Azmuth, and Jennifer along with about a hundred Galvan scientists watched the Universes mightiest defender… fall.
After a few seconds of allowing the shock to settle, Gwendolyn gulped some saliva down her dry throat, still staring up at the absolutely massive enemy before her. They had faced larger-than-life villains before but, she had Ben to lean on every single one of those times. Gwen held her hand out into the open-air, summoning her staff into her hands in a glowing golden flash of light, twirling it expertly between her fingers, she finished warming herself up by completing her twirl with a fighting stance and her staff aimed up at Malware, "Albedo, your with me, Jennifer I need you to stay behind and…" Gwen nervously glanced around for a second or two before spotting the First-Thinker on the ground next to them, "Watch Azmuth!" she pointed quickly and didn't allow for any argument before a spinning vortex of golden-orange light opened up on the ground beneath her feet. Gravity took over and she fell through with the portal closing up as soon as she was through leaving Jennifer to fold her arms in disapproval. Being the smartest person in the Universe, Azmuth could use predictive calculus on a massive scale to see the most likely outcomes, all in his head… within seconds, he smiled up at Jennifer without her noticing.
Jennifer raised her right wrist, looking down at the dull-grey lining that usually lit up with a bright amethyst glow, she sighed down at her still deactivated Omnitrix which caught Azmuth's attention for a moment as she pouted, muttering to herself, "Not fair…" she watched as Albedo transformed into Negative Jetray with a flash of crimson light, taking off into the sky.
Gwendolyn's portal opened up thousands of feet above the already towering Malware, dropping her instantly over the battlefield, she narrowed her eyes and gripped her staff like a sledge-hammer wielding it over her head. The decapitated skull adorned at the end of her staff became engulfed in sparkling turquoise flames, using the momentum of her fall and her magic to increase the power behind her swing. She could see her target approaching quickly from her perspective falling towards him, "Hergh!" with a loud, echoing grunt, she swung down on the top of his head sending a powerful physical shockwave outward in every direction.
Malware's monstrous form growled in discomfort as Gwendolyn back flipped over his face; the impact she landed to the top of his head was intended for more than just hurting the villain. As Gwen fell back towards the ground feet first the skull-end of her staff took a massive dark-blue ethereal chain down with it connected to a glowing metaphysical rod now planted into the top of Malware's head. She landed with a furious stomp, her jaw clenched tight, spinning the staff in her hands before slamming the blunt end into the ground upright forming a Bezelian-seal on the grass around her; she summoned with a gesture six more identical thick chains which sprouted from the rod and flew into the ground around Malware's giant feet, digging themselves into the dirt and pinning the villain to that spot.
Negative Jetray transformed mid-air with an explosion of red-light into a massive hulking, evolved Vaxasaurian, heading towards Malware's neck from above at the speed of sound; Negative Ultimate Humungousaur used all of his strength along with the momentum of his fall to hit Malware in the back of the neck with his most powerful haymaker punch. The shockwave sent Malware to his knees forcing clouds of dust and wind to blow back against Jennifer and Azmuth still observing from the ground. Ultimate Humungousaur was shocked when a giant arm and hand formed out of Malware's back, attempting to grab hold of him as well as absorb him like he did to Ultimate Way Big. Albedo avoided this by transforming into Negative Big Chill at the last second, the hand's tightened its grip around him and passed right through freezing over the 'fingers' of the construct. He quickly slapped the dial on his chest with a bright crimson glow shrouding his form, he emerged a second or two later with hot-rod red skin and wings replacing his blue aesthetic. Ultimate Big Chill exhaled a powerful stream of flames that froze over the area it made contact with, he flew backwards leaving massive glaciers of ice atop Malware's neck and upper-back which kept him down on his knees.
Gwendolyn kept her grip on her staff planted into the ground maintaining the spell that kept the chains manifested and locked around Malware's unmanageably massive body; her jaw was wired shut and her teeth grinding in effort as the physical strain of holding this spell against an opponent so powerful was draining her. She noticed a flicker of crimson light in the sky above her, Albedo transformed into Negative Ultimate EchoEcho flying up into Malware's face and bombarding him with sonic blasts, this wasn't going to work without Ben, she needed to find a way back to him.
"You fools have no chance against me now!" Malware's voice boomed above them as Jennifer watched a thick energy collecting within his almost monstrous jaws, "Without Ben Ten Thousand, there is nothing you can do to stop me, once I'm finished assimilating the Omnitrix, I will take this Universe as my own!" Malware fired a powerful blood-red beam of energy which scorched the air as it carved through the sky into Ultimate EchoEcho who crossed his bulky blue-black arms in front of his face, attempting to use a powerful sonic blast to defend himself, however, it wasn't enough and the beam overpowered him sending him back through the air into a cliffside that collapsed upon his impact. Albedo's smoking body collapsed from the cliffside along with several metric tons of tock and rubble; Jennifer had tears forming in her eyes as she watched this, "U-Uncle Albedo…" she gulped down and found now saliva left in her mouth, scared absolutely stiff.
Azmuth sighed, closing his eyes, and lowering his head.
…
Ben couldn't feel anything, there was darkness all around him, in every direction as though he were floating in the middle of the ocean at night; he felt like he was dreaming but, not really… it was such an odd sensation. Suddenly, he felt a comforting hand on his shoulder, the very first sensation he'd experienced since… since… he lost. He was supposed to protect everyone he cared about including his own daughter and he still lost, some hero he turned out to be; the hand on his shoulder turned him around until he was facing a glowing emerald figure made of flames in the form of his wife. She was completely naked with bright-green skin and emerald fire shrouding her more sensitive areas from sight, he noticed her smile was identical to the one he'd known almost his whole life, "You cant give up, Ben…" her voice was the same too, like an angel humming in his ears.
"I'm not giving up, I fought and lost, that's… that's a fair ending."
The figure tilted her head to the right with a bit of concern, "You don't really believe that, do you?" her eyes sparkled from the light of the flames that danced over her skin.
"I mean, that's what happened, isn't it?" he paused as he regained his senses a bit more, "Are we inside the Omnitrix again?"
She closed her eyes and nodded her head, "Indeed," her voice was Gwen's but, the words? Not really, "You were absorbed by Malware's bio-essence, he is at this very moment trying to assimilate me." That explained it.
"Oh, Trix! I haven't actually seen you in a while."
She smiled at him once again, "Be glad, it takes grave danger for us to communicate so closely; the ones you love are still fighting the battle on your behalf, they will not survive," she stated plainly with no inclination of emotion, she looked away from Ben as if distracted.
"How am I supposed to even break out of here? I'm unconscious aren't I?"
Trix floated around him like a projection unbound by gravity, "I can wake you up but, you will still have to escape and defeat Malware."
"I… I don't know that I can win…"
Trix rolled her glowing, flaming emerald eyes, "I could give you access to my full power but, your body wouldn't be able to handle it… you would burn out in ten-seconds," she teased him almost like Gwen used to when they were young, antagonizing him just to get a rise out of him but, they both knew it was what drove him to be who he was today.
"I can handle it, I think I used some of that power when I fought Billy Billions… not that I needed it," he was still as cocky as ever.
Trix, still floating around him in a nonchalant manner, finally came from behind and dropped her arms lazily around his neck and over his shoulders, her lips brushing against his ear as she spoke. It was as if she was the only physical thing around him, like the parts of his body she touched, didn't even exist until she did, "I'm unsure," he heard his wife's voice coo into his ear from centimeters away, "I saw you struggle so I gave you fifty-percent of the power I'm talking about to overload that silly device he was using to suppress me, are you sure you can take one-hundred-percent of the Omni-Energy stored within me?"
Ben smiled over his shoulder at her, "All I know is… I'm a hero, a husband, and a father; if I have a shot at beating Malware, I have to take it."
Trix smiled once again, leaning forward to graze her lips slowly against his cheek, whispering to him, "Good answer," she pulled away and rounded him to strut in front of him, being the flaming-naked visual of his wife, it was hard not to stare as she spoke, "I may have exaggerated but I was not making humor, my power will overwhelm and burn you out after no more than a few minutes. Once you use this ability, I wont be able to transform you at all for several more minutes."
"Got it, I can handle this in under a minute," he asserted confidently and with a bright smile.
Trix came forward and placed a hand on his left cheek, slowly brushing his face with her thumb, "When I first encountered you all those years ago, I was certain I'd made some mistake… now I know you were always meant to be my wielder, you were always meant to be Ben Ten Thousand."
…
The massive chains snapped and shattered upon Malware getting his bearings and yanking against his binds with incredible strength; he straightened his back crushing tons of ice weighing him down. Jennifer scooped up Azmuth with her heart pounding in her chest, she darted off at twice the speed of sound leaving a black and purple blur of colors trailing behind her. Her quick thinking avoided the massive boulders of ice that came crashing down around them from Malware's upper back.
Gwendolyn stumbled back, trying her best to maintain the containment spell as sweat collected over her brow and began to drip down the side of her face; she would need to get back to training most definitely, this was something she could've done in her sleep six-years ago but, now it was pushing her to her absolute limits. As each of the chains snapped, it sent a painful shock through her back and into her heart, it would tear her apart from the inside out to put any more effort into keeping this villain still. She collapsed to her knees with her hands wrapped tightly around her staff, the blunt end planted into the ground keeping her upright, and the skull-end glowing vibrantly with turquoise flames clearly connected to the chains themselves.
Suddenly, the air fell quiet, nothing made a single sound for the next several seconds to the point where it even prompted Gwendolyn to look up at her massive opponent and what she saw felt inevitable, drawing a smile onto her face. Malware's onyx-black torso, lined with a crimson circuitry design, began to light-up with neon-emerald energy below the surface of his skin.
"This… This isn't right! I was supposed to assimilate- how could it have escaped?!" Malware's deeply altered voice echoed with shock and fear, worried for himself for the first time.
From the center of his massive torso, a bright emerald beam of energy pultruded into the sky as Malware staggered backwards from the damage; within the beam, Ben flew out in his human form at a speed so fast it made XLR8 look as though he were moving in slow motion. The beam had struck the clouds layering the murky sky with darkness, the bolts of bright red lightning were flooded with emerald light instead. Ben dashed out and up into the sky above Malware, who wasn't ready to let his enemy win yet either, reaching out into the sky at high speeds to grab hold of his much smaller and weaker human form. Ben retaliated by firing twin beams of Omni-Energy at the forearm of the hand reaching for him, the intensity and output of his beam-vision had been amped to such a degree that it cut right through Malware like a warm-knife through butter. Ben followed this up by flying through the air at impossible speeds, disappearing from sight and reappearing just below Malware's massive chin, landing a solid uppercut that sent a vibrant shockwave through the air even prompting Jennifer to cover her ears. Malware was knocked back several feet, green colored electricity surged over the point of impact on his chin, doing almost as much damage to the enemy as Ultimate WayBig.
Gwendolyn heard the shockwaves and watched with a bright smile as half of Malware's massive building sized forearm collapsed to the ground at his feet in front of her, it would have melted down and merged with him but, the amount of Omni-Energy used to amputate the limb caused it to somehow disconnect from Malware's control permanently. The limb turned dull grey and faded into ash before Gwen's eyes, watching as Ben once again shocked her with his sheer capability. She watched him as he floated closer to the ground following Malware losing some of his bass and shrinking, making it easier to see her husband engulfed by this energy. He looked almost like a deity, glowing with an emerald aura of Omni-Energy flowing over his body and lining all of his features, his eyes, and pupils ablaze with bright neon-green fire, every defined muscle shimmering in the light of this new power.
"How is this possible?" Malware asked in disbelief, reforming his arm from the mass he had left over once finished shrinking down, now not much larger than Humungousaur at full height.
Ben, still floating more than a dozen feet off the ground within his neon-green aura of Omni-Energy, shrugged at the question, "I guess this is me without one hand tied behind my back," he narrowed his eyes down at his hands before lifting his left arm and aiming his open palm out at Malware, "I wonder if I can-" in the middle of his sentence, his aura discharged a massive wave of Omni-Energy channeled through his extended arm and out his opened hand. The beam collided with his opponent, knocking the sentient virus off his feet, tumbling back, and slamming back first into a rock formation. Just as he began to regain his composure, he held a hand up to the back of his head, and glanced up at the hero who was now gone spite being right in front of him a short moment ago. Ben announced himself from behind Malware with a grunt half-a-second before landing a powerful kick to the back of his head. Malware was sent face first into the ground from the impact where Ben took the opportunity to slam his fist into the center of the villain's back, where his spine would have been.
Malware's body contorted a bit as the force from Ben's amped punch cracked the solid-ground beneath his body, sending a gust of wind out around him from the impact. The dust settled and Malware was not only relatively uninjured but, his back attempted to ooze and reach out at his arm still planted against the villain, pinning him down. The sentient goop tried to cling to the Omnitrix on his forearm but, emerald sparks fried Malware as it attempted to surround the watch, "Looks like your body doesn't like Omni-Energy too much, and in this form, I think I have enough to wipe you out completely…"
The back of Malware's head formed into the barrel of the particle cannon he still had assimilated within him, aiming up at Ben who stood upright and held his hand out, "Don't-" he couldn't finish as the weapon fired, a crimson beam struck Ben's open palm as he floated up and backwards, keeping his opponent at a distance even while effortlessly deflecting his attack. With this new power, Ben couldn't even feel the particle beam he vividly remembered injuring him earlier.
Jennifer was in awe of her father, again. She knew he was powerful but, she was finding out for the first time that he was far more powerful than she'd ever known, even without transforming. The smile on her face was replaced with an expression of concern after she glanced down at Azmuth whose demeanor hadn't changed a bit since he watched Albedo get blown away.
The particle beam split on Ben's palm, striking the ground and battlefield around them randomly; he furrowed his brow, slowly floating in towards Malware who continued to fire the blast up at the hero. His palm closed in on the barrel of the weapon, the crimson energy flickering wildly as Ben grabbed hold of the barrel itself, squeezing it tight and flattening his free hand out. Using his incredible speed and strength, Ben swung his hand like a blade slicing off the weapon from Malware's head. He watched as the weapon's edges appeared to be glowing bright green, almost as though his Omni-Energy cauterized the wound, it took only a few more seconds for the cannon to turn grey and collapse into dust in his hand.
Ben watched the dust slip through his fingers as he glanced back at Malware who was taking more of his mass to replace the amount that had been chopped off in the form of the particle cannon, resulting in his main body shrinking. Malware had recalled most of his remaining essence from the planets core back to himself to battle Ultimate Way Big, now he would have to start all over if he wanted to assimilate the planet and grow even larger. The hero looked down on Malware who slowly got to one knee, looking up at Ben before unleashing a barrage of miniature rockets at him from the Galvan armor he assimilated.
Ben sucked his teeth in disappointment before charging the energy in his aura even brighter with just a flex of his muscles, flying clean through the explosions of missiles detonating on his face and forearms. He angled his body as he flew in at hypersonic speeds, landing foot first in a powerful stomp impacting Malware's torso. Jennifer watched as her father stood atop Malware's broken and defeated body, shuttering under his boot as trails of smoke faded into the air around them. He knelt down and pounded his fist directly into Malware's head with such force that it shook the ground around them, sending shockwaves like booming thunder out across the battlefield. He relayed punch after punch, cracking the ground beneath the villains head, each time his fist made brutal contact with Malware's face Jennifer flinched until he stopped. Of course this was only a brief respite as Ben grabbed Malware's head and stared deeply into his broken Mechamorph circuit-ring; he did this for a few seconds before unleashing a relentless beam of emerald Omni-Energy, burning a hole right through the enemies untraditional head.
Ben stood up once again, dropping Malware's head, and taking a long deep breath, something wasn't right, "Now… to… finish you… off…" he said between labored breaths, suddenly holding his left arm tightly, he tried to collect his thoughts to finish the fight before his opponent could recover but his vision became blurred.
Jennifer gasped loudly as he stumbled to his knees, Azmuth shook his head in disappointment, speaking upwards to Jennifer, "I knew this was to happen, the amount of Omni-Energy used by the Omnitrix in this little stunt has effected your father's physiology… I believe he's going into cardiac arrest."
"What?!" Gwendolyn shouted as she landed next to her daughter and the First Thinker, glaring down at the elderly Galvan, "Why didn't you warn him? Or us?" she looked back out at the battle where Ben huffed on his knees, staring at the ground, most likely trying catch his breath as smoke drifted from his back. His aura now completely gone, it was as though steam or smoke was billowing from his body.
Azmuth shrugged, "The Omnitrix wont allow him die, he's just done fighting anyone for quite sometime," he glanced back at the hero who fell onto his back staring up at the sky, "His muscles will have atrophy and his heart will have to recover from the immense stress flooding your body with Omni-Energy will put on a person."
Suddenly, with Ben down for the count, Malware began to reform himself back into a ten-foot-tall version of the same almost monstrous form that battled Ultimate WayBig, though it was fortunately taking several seconds to completely recover from the beating he was given.
Gwendolyn spun her staff in her hands, aiming the skull-end at her still reforming opponent confidently, "Jennifer, take Azmuth and get somewhere safe…"
"But, Mom-"
"I'm not kidding, go now!" Gwen barked over her shoulder at her daughter who allowed Azmuth to hop onto her forearm.
"Honestly, with how brash you two seemed when you were her age, I was sure you would have seen the final outcome as I did," Azmuth spoke up, prompting Gwen to turn to face him, "You were her age once too, perhaps a little faith in a ten-year-old wielding one of the most powerful devices in the Universe?" he practically scolded her as he turned around on her arm, facing the Omnitrix Ben built just for her. He effortlessly accessed the mainframe of the watch with just a few taps, the activation bell finally sounding at his command, "Hmm, good craftsman ship but, horrid software security, you should tell your father to add at least two or three more firewalls in here."
Jennifer was enamored by his mastery of the device but, Gwendolyn wasn't having any of it, "You aren't going to convince me to let my daughter to fight this battle, none of her aliens would be able to hurt this guy!" she gestured towards Malware who was nearly finished reforming himself, as she glanced at him, she knew they only had seconds left to argue about this.
Jennifer's eyes went down in a disheartened expression, "Yes… and you believe running away is a smarter course of action, I heard," his taps eventually ended up with the Artificial Intelligence making an announcement.
"Transformation 822,413 of 1,000,911 now unlocked and available in active playlists," the voice was an automated version of her father's which Azmuth found a bit pretentious but, who was he to talk?
Gwen looked back and forth from the watch on her daughter's hand and the Galvan sitting atop her forearm, "What'd you- What did you do? Which one did you unlock?" she asked nervously as he summoned the core from beneath the sliding faceplate.
Azmuth smiled for the first time again, "A good one…" he then hopped five or six inches into the air and landed directly on the Omnitrix core popping out, resulting in a bright explosion of amethyst-purple light.
From the light, two profoundly bright glowing-white wings stretched out before the light from the transformation dissipated completely; Gwendolyn was now met with a fully grown women, only appearing to be a few years younger than herself, if even that. Her body was dressed in a skin-tight armored black suit with purple trimmed aesthetics outlining the suit; an aura of flames surrounded her body from head to toe, glowing in her vibrantly pink eyes, and encompassing her hands.
"You transformed her into Celestial?" Gwendolyn questioned as Jennifer still looked over her new form in awe of the power she felt coursing through her.
"The species name is Cosmian, one of the most powerful race of alien fighters to ever live in this Universe; I suppose if a To'kustar cant do the job, perhaps its not size that matters, after all?" Azmuth explained his line of reasoning.
Gwendolyn approached her daughter, making strange eye-contact as it was their first time ever talking at eye level, putting a hand on her shoulder, "Jennifer, I-"
"Harmony."
"What?"
"I decided on a name for the form, Harmony."
Gwendolyn closed her eyes an exhaled through her nose quickly, very quickly remembering that her daughter was not currently the age she appeared to be, "This is still dangerous, I think you should-"
"I had to watch Uncle Albedo get blasted into a cliffside where he's prolly got a bunch of broken bones and stuff and I couldn't do anything about it," Harmony's fists lit ablaze with amethyst flames trailing her hands, up her arms, until her hair and wings were completely, harmlessly, consumed by bright purple fire, "Now I can do something about it."
