Summary: Long ago, the first witch's, Azura and Hecate, brought peace to the Boiling Isles. However, everyone must meet an end. They met theirs at the hand of an Evil King. Their story has become mere legend, a myth. What no one knows, is they have been reincarnated, and they'll finish what they started.
Azura held her hand out and summoned her staff. She ran at the evil king and pointed her staff at him.
"King Es Lob! Your reign of terror is over!"
The king looked down from his throne.
"Well, if it isn't the Good Witch Azura. Come to meet your End?" Es Lob said.
"No, I've come to defeat you and bring peace, once more!" Azura said, "And I didn't come alone."
A swirl of magic appeared next to Azura and Hecate replaced it.
"Stand down now and we'll go easy on you." Hecate said.
The King stood up, off his throne, and the two charged at him.
"What?! That's how it ends!?" Luz screamed.
"I'm so glad this room is soundproof." Amity said.
"Well, sorry, but they just left it on a massive cliffhanger! I hate it when people do that! Whether it be in published books or in Fanfiction. I understand that it's meant to create suspense and make the next part even more dramatic, but I find it annoying." Luz said closing the book, "In fact, there's this one Fanfiction Author that I think is the King of Cliffhangers. He put, like, four cliffhangers right after each other. Oh, what was their name, again? Mr... Hardcor3 or something like that?"
Amity laughed as Luz went on her tangent. Suddenly, she grabbed her head and felt pain. Images flashed through her mind. An explosion, a broken staff, and a burned hat. It looked exactly like Azura's hat and Hecate's staff. Amity groaned when a pair of hands lightly shook her. She looked up and expected to see Luz, but instead, she... Azura. She gasped and rubbed her eyes. When she opened them again, she saw Luz.
"-Okay?"
"Huh?" Amity asked.
"I asked if you are, okay?" Luz said, "I think we should end this book club early; you don't look too good."
"I-I-I think that's a good idea. I'll see you at school tomorrow, Luz." Amity said, quickly walking out of the room.
Luz barely even got to wave goodbye by the time Amity left.
"Huh, that's weird. I hope she's, okay."
