Summary: Luz's day was going good until a secret of hers rears its head. If she doesn't find a way to deal with it soon, then some bad things are going to happen to her.
Luz was running as fast as she could. She didn't want to leave Amity, Willow, and Gus so early, but she had no choice. She ran into the Owl House and instantly up to her room. She grabbed her bag and dumped the contents. She grabbed a few syringes and looked through them.
"Empty. Empty. Empty! EMPTY! I can't be out! Without them I'm screwed!" She looked at another one and saw it was full, "Yes!"
She put the needle in her arm and injected the liquid into her body. She pulled the sleeve of her school uniform and saw her skin return to normal. She looked at the needle and frowned.
"That was my last one. Now what?"
Luz jumped a little when she heard a knock on her door.
"Luz? Is everything okay?"
It was Amity and she probably had Willow and Gus with her.
"I-I-I, yeah. I'm good." Luz said.
Amity opened the door and her, Willow, and Gus saw Luz scrambling to pick up her syringes.
"Luz? What... are you doing drugs?" Amity asked.
"What?! No. No, no, no! These-" Luz held up an empty syringe, "are filled with medication for... for a problem I have. The problem is... this was my last one."
"So, are... are you dying?" Gus asked.
"Luz, please tell me you aren't going to die." Amity said.
"No, I'm not going to die. It's far worse than that." Luz said.
"What do you mean worse?" Willow asked.
"I... I don't want to talk about it." Luz said, looking away.
"But-"
"I said, I don't want to talk about it!" Luz snapped.
Amity, Willow, and Gus moved back at Luz's outburst. Whatever this problem of her's was, it was clearly bringing up some unwanted memories. Luz seemed to realize what she said as her face softend.
"I-I-I'm sorry." She said, "J-j-just go."
She went back to picking up her syringe's. They left, clearly seeing that Luz needed to be alone. Luz looked at the needle in her hand and her hand started shaking. She threw it against a wall and fell to the ground. She started crying, this damn problem of her's has caused several problems in her life.
"I hope you're happy, dad. You ruined my entire life." She said, "I'm glad you're on death row. It's better than what I would've done."
She cried for a little and went back to cleaning up the empty needles. She put them back into her bag and placed it aside. Outside; Willow, Amity, and Gus were talking about what to do.
"What are we going to do?" Gus asked.
"Well, we can ask her how to make it." Amity suggested.
"She got annoyed just by talking about it, I don't think she'll tell us." Willow said.
"So, what should we do?" Gus asked.
"I might have an idea." Amity said, "Follow me."
