Summary (Work in Progress): The last thing Luz expected was to be cursed, but waking up and finding her and several of her friends with a curse. Just like usual, Luz is on another adventure to fix this.

Luz, feeling a little weird, woke up. She was back on the Isles after convincing her mom to let her come back. It took until she was sixteen, but here she was, ready for her first full day back. Of course, her mom was hesitant about this, it took almost a year to get her back, but she promised that with a working, and thankfully stable, portal, she could come back whenever she wants. Vee was pretty excited to get their bedroom to herself as, in her words, "Luz snores way to loud" you know, normal twin problems. Luz looked over and panicked, seeing a cobra next to her. Luz may be a fan of snakes, having several of them as pets, but even she won't deal with a venomous one.

"Eda! There's a cobra in my room!" Luz said.

"Shut it, Round Ears!" the Cobra said.

"Boscha?!"

Boscha slithered closer to Luz.

"Give me one good reason I shouldn't bite you."

"B-b-because your fangs are filled with a venom that could kill me."

"All the more reason to do it!"

A brown wolf got between them and growled at Boscha.

"Back off." It said, "She didn't do this."

"Amity? Is that you?"

"Yes." Amity said, "There's something going on and several of us have been turned into animals. Including you."

"W-w-what?"

Luz went over to a mirror and saw it... she was a hawk.

"What happened to us!?" Luz went downstairs, where she saw Eda, "Eda, help!"

Eda, who was drinking her normal morning alcoholic beverage, looked at the hawk on the table.

"Hey, Kid." Eda said, "When I saw your little girlfriend I had a feeling something bad would happen with you."

"How are you so calm about this!?" Luz said.

"Luz, up until last year, I turned into a giant owl. Not much can phase anymore."

"Up until last year?" Luz asked.

"Oh, right, I didn't tell you when you showed up last night. I am cured." Eda said, "My, now fiancé, cured Lily and I. Best part, I still have my harpy form."

"Good for you, but I'm a bird, I need a little help."

"Don't worry kid, I'll find a way to help. My fiancé is coming later, so he could possible help."

I just came up with this last night, so I think it needs some more polishing. Follow, Favorite, and Review for more.
