Summary: Camila didn't want this to happen until Luz was older, but life has other plans. Camila is forced to send Luz to another realm in order to save her from an old enemy. Knowing that she won't be able to see her daughter for a long time, she can only hope her dad can protect her.

Camila won't lie, she fucked up in life. She had everything she wanted in her old life, but then her mom died, and she decided that she wanted to travel. Her father was supportive, but it was hard for him to watch his only child go. Then she got stuck in a toxic relationship that didn't end until a few years ago when she divorced him.

"Mommy?"

Camila looked over and saw her seven year old daughter, Luz. Camila couldn't help but smile at her.

"Yes, Honey?" Camila asked.

"Why is there a weird looking car outside?" Luz asked, pointing to the window.

Camila got up and looked out the window. She saw her ex-husband and several of his friends. Camila grabbed Luz's arm and ran upstairs with her. Camila ran into her room and started to rummage through her nightstand. She handed Luz a key with an eye on it.

"Listen Luz, there's a lot I haven't told you, stuff I was waiting to tell you when you graduated high school." Camila said.

"Mommy, you're scaring me." Luz said.

"Don't be scared." Camila said, before the sound of a door being kicked down was heard, "I was hoping we would one day be able to go together, but that isn't possible now. I need you to take this key and get to the old abandoned house in the woods. When you do, press the eye. It will take you to a place you've never seen before."

"What's going on?" Luz asked.

"We're in trouble, and I need to buy you time." Camila said, "We're going to be separated for some time, but I promise, I will stop at nothing to get to you. Go!"

Camila got up and ran out the bedroom door while Luz went to the window. There was a small bounce house that Camila put outside her window since the last time Luz fell of the roof... long story. Luz jumped on it and quickly ran into the woods. She ran all the way to the abandoned house and pulled out the key. She pressed the eye and a portal opened, making Luz step back. Luz heard the voice of her father and decided to run into the portal. The portal closed and Luz found herself in the Boiling Isles. Luz looked around in fear, she has no idea where she is or what to do. Her mom had to of done this for a reason right? Luz started to walk around but tripped over a rock and cut her head on her fall. She was knocked unconscious and left to whoever or whatever found her first. It was only a few minutes before she was found. A man picked her up and looked at her, noticing that she was hurt and bleeding from her head. The man felt a sigh of relief, knowing that despite being hurt, she was still alive. He knew exactly who this was, as the key only would work if someone of his blood used it, and knew exactly what his daughter would do to him if he didn't take care of her.

"You're just as beautiful as your mother was at your age." He said, "Don't worry, your Grandpa Belos will take care of you."

Well, my break is cut short, because no one seems to listen to what I said. I said, to not contact me. Why is no one listening!?
