This is going to be pretty dark. This is your only warning.
Summary (Work in Progress): What if Luz went to the camp, but it wasn't actually a camp? Instead of learning how to do taxes or appreciate public radio, she was experimented on. When she finally escapes, she goes on a mission to kill all those that are responsible for this.
It was the middle of October. Camila sat on the couch in the living room, crying like she has every day. She hasn't seen her daughter since she dropped her off at camp. Camila has never regretted a decision more than sending Luz to the camp. Camila wasn't the only one either, dozens of parents from the town were also experiencing the feeling of loss, they also sent their children to camp. Camila was knocked out of her sadness by a news alert.
"We are standing outside of the camp known as 'Reality Camp', the location over a hundred kids went missing. The police have recently raided this on an anonymous report. Now, we have an understanding of where many of these kids have gone, and I'm warning you, some of these images are graphic." The reporter said.
Images of the cages with dried blood in them popped up.
"Cages, chains, and weapons. What kind of camp was being run here?" A voice over said, "The police have done a raid on this place earlier today and have revealed the horrible conditions the kids were under."
Images of the armory and the examination tables popped up on the screen.
"It is safe to assume that these kids were tortured while they were here... and that's not all." The voice over said.
The camera went back to the reporter.
"Now, the police have searched the woods for any clues as to where the children have gone and they stumbled upon something they horrific. Many of you may want to turn away." The camera showed a mass grave with rotting corpses, "Hundreds of bodies litter this hole, each of them are children no older than sixteen. The police are taking the bodies to perform DNA testing, and then turning over the bodies to their families for a proper burial."
Camila looked at the screen in horror, was this where Luz was? Nothing but a corpse in a hole? She felt her heart break from the scene. The reporter listened to something in his earpiece.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, the Police have found more bodies, but these aren't of the kids, they are of the guards." The Reporter said, "It is possible that some managed to escape and avoided execution. The police are actively looking for the ones that set up the camp and are planning on bringing them to-"
Camila shut off the TV. Did Luz do that? Is it possible that she's still alive? If so, why didn't she come home? Did Luz really hate her for bringing her to the camp?
"I can't blame her for hating me, I wouldn't want to see me after going through that." Camila said, "If you are still alive, Mija, I hope you're safe. Maybe one day you'll forgive me."
In another city a few miles away, a group of armed men walked around the balcony of a penthouse.
"Why is he so nervous?" One asked.
"They found the camp, which means the police will be coming." Another said, "It's our job to make sure they don't get too far."
Little did they know, it wasn't the police they needed to worry about. On another building across from it, was a person in black, watching them move.
"Time for him to face justice."
