Summary (Work In Progress): Luz was just a normal girl, until an alien creature fell out of the sky and bonded with her. Now, as a teenager she is about to go on an adventure that will change her life and reveal old, repressed memories.
A young 8 year old girl was running around the campsite her parents set up for her, laughing as she didn't have a care in the world. Her mom and her mom's girlfriend were currently sitting by the dying fire, beginning to fall asleep. The little girl looked up and saw something going through the sky very fast.
"Ooh." She said, thinking it's a shooting star, "I wish I had a friend."
The girl noticed that the star was getting very close to the ground. It hit the ground less than a mile away from the campsite. She looked back at her mom.
"Wow, that weird water they drank really took them out." She said, "I'll be back soon, I'm going to see what that was."
She began to walk away, following the direction it fell in. She looked past the bushes, seeing a medium sized crater. She walked towards it, seeing what looks like a damaged piece of metal. She looked down and saw some kind of black creature moving around.
"What the-"
Before she could finish her sentence, the black creature lunged at her.
Six Years Later:
Luz woke up and looked around. She sat up in bed and got up, ready for another day of hell.
"Last day of school." Luz said, "Let's hope I don't have to deal with any bullies today."
"We can eat them if you want."
"We are not eating them." Luz said, "Holy hell, Venom, I thought we talked about this."
Luz did her usual morning routine, take a shower, get dressed, wonder where her life went wrong. Ever since her mom's girlfriend disappeared, things have gone downhill. Her mom was more depressed ever since then. The worst part, Luz doesn't even remember much about her. All she has is a faded picture of her. She had black hair, pale skin, bright blue eyes, and according to Camila, she had the kindest spirit Camila had known since Luz's father died. Luz grabbed and apple and headed for the door.
"Hopefully nothing bad happens today." Luz said, walking out the door.
Little did she know was that today was going to change her life... well... more than being permanently bonded with an alien parasite.
I have a put up a poll on the next story to write, please go vote, and please don't make it a nine-way tie like last time. I got this from AO3, a very helpful person, named Alchemy_Works, gave me almost an entire chapter to use. I made some tweaks to it, but I think this has potential.
