Hello everyone. And thank you for returning for another chapter of my guest characters list.
Wow, this year honestly went by fast. I mean it felt like just yesterday that I was starting my new job and writing more chapters. But now we're near the end and I have to say this year was… a mixed bag. Still, it could be a lot worse and I am glad you guys stuck by me.
As for how Mortal Kombat is going, I will say it is a surprise to see how Quan Chi plays. Though, I will admit the highly of his reveal trailer was the Peacemaker tease. I won't lie, aside from Takeda and maybe Homelander, Peacemaker is a character I am most interested in seeing. Let's hope we get a second season for his show since it left off with a cliffhanger.
Last time, we saw the last son of Mars battle the Kombat cast. Now, we get to see one of the most popular characters in the Naruto series make his debut.
Ladies and gentlemen… Kakashi Hatake.
Kameo fighter: Might Guy.
If character gets knocked back: Kakashi is sent flying back before exploding in a puff of smoke, revealing it to be a log. The real Kakashi stomps on the log before taking out a kunai, spinning it in his hand.
If character knocks the opponent back: Kakashi pushes the opponent back before delivering a jump kick, sending them away. Once the opponent finishes their intro, Kakashi finishes reading Icha Icha before closing the book.
Kameo fighter: Guy does several stretches before getting in a fighting stance, giving a bright grin that shines his teeth.
Vs Ashrah
Kakashi: To be honest, I've never fought an actual demon before.
Ashrah: Then allow me to satisfy your curiosity.
2nd
Kakashi: Does your kris sense any more evil in Sasuke?
Ashrah: At the moment, no. But do keep a close eye on him.
3rd
Ashrah: Your leaf has much darkness in it.
Kakashi: The Hokage and I are making sure nothing comes of it.

Ashrah: Are you sure your village would welcome me?
Kakashi: Konoha has gotten better over the years.
Vs Baraka
Kakashi: The Tarkatans don't deserve to suffer.
Baraka: It seems even the gods have forsaken us.

Kakashi: If you'd like, I can help you control your urges.
Baraka: That is only a temporary cure.

Baraka: Whispers tell me your village is Shao's next target.
Kakashi: Thank you for the warning, Baraka.

Baraka: The one called Orochimaru wishes to test us.
Kakashi: As odd as he may seem, he has proven himself.
Vs General Shao
Kakashi: Warmongers like you are the reason good people suffer.
General Shao: Only the strong should survive. Weaklings deserve to perish.

Kakashi: Don't trust the Akatsuki.
General Shao: Is that fear in your voice, Kakashi?

General Shao: You could have been a great general yourself.
Kakashi: I won't allow children to be used for war.

General Shao: Danzo's use of the Sharingan interests me.

Kakashi: Is there a timeline where Obito and Rin live?
Geras: Time has endless possibilities.

Kakashi: I can only imagine how much of a strain it is to care for the Hourglass.
Geras: It is a task I take seriously, Kakashi.

Geras: Minato Uzumaki would be proud of you.
Kakashi: I did my best. But it still feels like I'm failing him and Naruto.

Geras: A deity is coming to Konoha. You must prepare.
Kakashi: Is it Kaguya? Or someone much worse?

Kakashi: Are you one of Orochimaru's experiments?
Havik: I am the liberator for all the oppressed!

Kakashi: We can help your condition if you only calm down.
Havik: And become a weapon for the Leaf? Never!

Havik: The Jinchuriki will be released from their shackles!
Kakashi: I won't allow the village to be destroyed again.

Kakashi: Had I not suffered, I wouldn't have become the man I am today.

Kakashi: Many in Konoha feel Ninja Mime is inaccurate.
Johnny: Have they never heard of creative storytelling?

Kakashi: A film about me? I don't know, Johnny…
Johnny: You've got like a million stories! I bet a lot of people would wanna know.

Kakashi: Chakra isn't magic. And I highly doubt you are capable of using Jutsu.

Kitana: Good to know some Earthrealmers have manners.

Mileena: Is this training or playtime, Hatake?

Mileena: Don't mock my illness, Kakashi!

Kakashi: There was someone far more suited than I was.

Kakashi: Orochimaru and Tsunade can take a look. But I can't promise anything.

Kakashi: I've heard of blood jutsu, but this is ridiculous.
Nitara: Don't be scared. I won't hurt you.

Kakashi: Please tell me you aren't one of Orochimaru's old test subjects.
Nitara: Vaternias existed long before your little village was founded.

Nitara: Give me the secret scrolls and I will let you live to be food.
Kakashi: No offense, but you really need to work on your negotiation skills.

Nitara: So much food, wasted on your pointless war.
Kakashi: A lot of my friends died. Don't insult them.
Vs Omni-Man
Kakashi: You don't need to be Thragg's weapon, Nolan. You can be-
Omni-Man: Don't even bother, you white haired freak.

Kakashi: First the Guardians. Then your own son? When does the bloodshed end?
Omni-Man: When idiots with hero complexes open their fucking eyes.

Omni-Man: What the Viltrum Empire is doing will save the universe.
Kakashi: I've heard madmen try to justify genocide before. I won't listen.

Omni-Man: The kid with the red and purple eyes was easy. So was the blonde.
Kakashi: As their teacher, I'll avenge them.
Vs Quan Chi
Kakashi: Looking at you makes me glad Orochimaru is an ally.
Quan Chi: How do you know he isn't playing a trick?

Kakashi: Whose souls do you have?
Quan Chi: Your father calls to you. Hahahaha!

Quan Chi: The Sealing Jutsu. How do I learn it?
Kakashi: Like I would allow you to use the 3rd's technique!

Quan Chi: Assist me and I will bring back anyone you've lost.
Kakashi: Don't tempt me, Quan Chi.
Vs Raiden
Kakashi: Gotta admit, I might pass down my jutsu to you.
Raiden: I'd be honored to learn from you.

Kakashi: Liu Kang was right to choose you as his Champion.
Raiden: And I will continue to work hard to prove he made the right choice.
3rd
Raiden: You must be proud of your students.
Kakashi: They've all grown up. Well… mostly.

Raiden: What is this 'Sexy Jutsu' I've been hearing about?
Kakashi: It'd be best if you DIDN'T know, Raiden. Trust me.
Vs Rain
Kakashi: If you wish to make amends, then you need to surrender.
Rain: And allow them to take my head? Never.

Kakashi: You know water Jutsu as well?
Rain: I recently visited the land of the Mist. They were an interesting bunch.
3rd
Rain: Sasuke Uchiha and Orochimaru. Why allow them to live?
Kakashi: Because there is good in them. Just like there's good in you.
4th
Rain: You owe the Leaf nothing after the pain its leaders have caused you.
Kakashi: It is my home and I will die to protect it.
Vs Reiko
Kakashi: I actually admire your loyalty, even if it's towards Shao.
Reiko: He will lead Outworld to a better tomorrow.
2nd
Kakashi: How is it you took down our recon team?
Reiko: They didn't have the strength the general employs!
3rd
Reiko: There are many in Konoha who would be worthy allies.
Kakashi: But none would join you or Shao on your conquest.
4th
Reiko: Why bother staying with the Leaf after they used you?
Kakashi: Because there are still good people there.
Vs Reptile
Kakashi: You didn't deserve to be used by Shang Tsung.
Reptile: I can only hope to redeem myself. For my family.
2nd
Kakashi: You'd be an excellent ninja in Konoha.
Reptile: That is until the villagers see my true form.
3rd
Reptile: Why were the Uchiha slaughtered?
Kakashi: The leaders in Konoha saw them as a threat. But they went too far.

Reptile: You can summon talking animals?
Kakashi: Allow me to introduce you to Pakkun. You'll like him.
Vs Scorpion
Kakashi: Even though he freezes his heart, there might still be a piece of the brother you love in Bi-Han.
Scorpion: Then I will need to thaw it out.

Kakashi: You know, I'm something of a fire user myself.
Scorpion: Let us see who burns hotter.

Scorpion: Sasuke has mentioned you before.
Kakashi: Hehehe. My student sure is popular.

Scorpion: Will Konoha treat the Shirai Ryu as well as they did the Uchiha?
Kakashi: The Hokage would never allow another genocide to happen.
Vs Shang Tsung
Kakashi: Your evil knows no bounds.
Shang Tsung: Not evil. Just curiosity.

Kakashi: How many ninja did you kidnap?!
Shang Tsung: Enough to overthrow your weak village.
3rd
Shang Tsung: That eye would be a valuable addition to my collection.
Kakashi: You sound just like Danzo.
4th
Shang Tsung: Orochimaru's notes have been very useful.
Kakashi: After you're dealt with, I'll burn it all.
Vs Sindel
Kakashi: I understand where you come from, but that doesn't mean your treatment of the Tarkatans was right.
Sindel: Had I allowed them to enter Edinia, we would all be infected.

Kakashi: The love you have for your daughters reminds me of my sensei and his wife.
Sindel: He sounds like a wise leader. My condolences.

Sindel: My sources call you the 'Copycat' ninja. Is this true?
Kakashi: Only one way to find out, Empress.

Sindel: Your eyes remind me of Jerrek.
Kakashi: I'm sorry for your loss. I know how it feels to lose someone you love.
Vs Smoke
Kakashi: It seems you failed again, Tomas.
Smoke: How were Naruto and Sakura able to pass your test?!

Kakashi: I noticed your sparring session with Lee.
Smoke: He's an odd one, but I respect his determination.
3rd
Smoke: Can anyone become the Hokage?
Kakashi: Only those who have the village's love and respect may earn that title.

Smoke: You copied my technique! Kuai Liang was right!
Kakashi: Now, you can focus on your weak spots and how to cover them.
Vs Sub-Zero
Kakashi: Revenge is an unending thirst. You are a prime example.
Sub-Zero: Talk is cheap, Hatake.

Kakashi: I was able to see the heart inside Zabuza. You aren't any different.
Sub-Zero: Stop with your peaceful nonsense and fight!
3rd
Sub-Zero: All I am is more ambitious. I have done nothing wrong.
Kakashi: Those who break the rules are scum but those who abandon their comrades are worse then scum.
4th
Sub-Zero: After I kill you, that eye will be mine.
Kakashi: So you can use it to destroy your family? Never.
Vs Tanya
Kakashi: I can see why Mileena speaks highly of you.
Tanya: Nothing will happen to her as long as I draw breath.
2nd
Kakashi: Your attitude reminds me of Sakura.
Tanya: Bring her next time. I would be honored to train with her.
3rd
Tanya: The Umgadi vs the Anbu Black Ops.
Kakashi: That would be quite the battle.
4th
Tanya: Who is this Tenten I keep hearing about?
Kakashi: A ninja I believe you would get along with.
Vs Wolverine
Kakashi: I'm grateful Adamantium doesn't exist in my world. Otherwise, the wars would never end.
Wolverine: Lucky you.
2nd
Kakashi: It seems mutants have suffered the same isolation as Naruto did.
Wolverine: Lucky for both of us, not everyone was an asshole.
3rd
Wolverine: You remind me of a guy that chopped off my head once.
Kakashi: I don't look like a cyborg.
4th
Wolverine: I learned from ninjas, you know.
Kakashi: Then this makes our fight much more interesting.
After Titan saves the character from the evil Kombat kids
Kakashi: Nice work, Kitana.
After Liu Kang's "And they called me the Chosen One" speech
Kakashi: I've dealt with these 'gods' before. We should finish them before they cause more trouble.
Fatal Blow(Sub-Zero): Kakashi activates his Sharingan before he draw a kunai and slashes the opponent in the chest. Guy rushes in and delivers a Dynamic Entry kick on their face, breaking their jaw. He then proceeds to strike them several times before slamming his palm in their stomach, making them stagger. Kakashi uses Lightning Blade and begins striking the opponent several times before turning them around, stabbing his arm through their chest with enough force to destroy their heart.
Victory pose: Kakashi draws out two kunai, coursing lighting through them before doing several swings and kicks, throwing one of them in the process. Guy does several push ups before flipping back on his feet, giving the player a thumbs up.
Fatalities
Kamui(Reiko): Kakashi activates his Sharingan, turning into the Mangekyo Sharingan. He uses Kamui, creating a small vacuum in space. The opponent tries to escape, only for their arm to be caught in the vacuum. They screamed as their arm was forcefully sucked in, followed by their legs, lower half and internal organs. Kakashi deactivated Kamui as the remainder of the opponent's body fell on the floor. They reach out, only for Kakashi to throw a lighting-coated kunai through their skull, splitting their head in half.
Lightning Blade Unleashed(Reptile): Kakashi grabs several kunai, coating them with lightning before tossing them towards the opponent. He quickly uses Kamui, teleporting half of them and causing them to appear on the other side. The opponent was impaled by the kunai, with some of their arms and torso being torn apart. Leaping high in the air, Kakashi uses Lightning Blade in his right arm before lunging towards the opponent, slamming his fist into the opponent's head and tearing through their body. The two halves of the opponent's body fell as Kakashi stood up, holding up what remains of their face.
Kameo fatality(Might Guy)
Asakujaku(Scorpion): Kakashi steps aside as Might Guy walks towards the opponent, activating the Eight Inner Gates. With a battle cry, Guy punches the opponents face so fast, his fists catch on fire, each blow caves the face and torso in. Moving one of his fists a few inches from the opponent's bloody face, Guy jabs it forward, causing the head to explode and the body to fall over.
Ending
"I've seen a lot of wars, ever since I was a Genin. But the war against Kaguya was something else. And it was even strange when a portal suddenly appeared." *Shows Kakashi being sucked into a portal as Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura watched in horror.* "I was so weak from fighting that I couldn't use the Susassnoo to escape. For a moment, I thought I was done for. But what I saw when I woke up shocked me."
*The next scene shows Kakashi waking up in a hospital, with an older woman that looked like a grown up version of Rin healing him.* "It turns out I was brought into another reality. One where I died instead of Obito. Because of that, Rin was never killed. In fact, she was able to control the Three Tails and Obito was even appointed Hokage. It was like I was looking into the afterlife. Imagine her reaction when I told her what happened in my reality."
*The final scene shows Kakashi, with Rin and Hokage Obito opening their own portal, seeing a vision of Naruto and Sasuke fighting Kaguya.* "As much as I wanted to enjoy seeing the friends I lost, I knew I needed to go back home and help stop Kaguya. Fortunately, this world's technology was so advanced that they had something called a Warp Gate. Together, we'd be able to stop Kaguya and make Minato and Kushina proud. They may not be the Rin and Obito I know, but it's something…"
Hope you guys enjoyed this chapter. I will admit there were times I felt a bit off with Kakashi since it has been a while since I watched Naruto. But maybe in the future, we'll have another character.
