Summary: Cat has been keeping a secret from everyone, afraid of how they'd react, but with how the Emperor seems to be tightening his grip on the Isles for the Day of Unity, it may only me a matter of time before it's revealed.

An eight year old cat was walking across a shelf, knocking things into a potion that her owners were working on. She didn't care, she was a cat, she was doing what cats do, being an independent asshole. As the bottle she was knocking over fell into the potion, it went from green to blue. The cat was about to jump down, when the nails holding the shelf up broke. The cat fell into the cauldron with a splash, making her owners come in to see what the commotion was. They came in just in time to see their cats head go under the potion and they quickly rushed in to help her. They reached in and pulled out their cat... sort of.

"Oh... my... Titan." One of them said, "Rebecca, am I going crazy?"

"No, Penelope, you're not." Rebecca said, "Our cat... isn't a cat anymore."

In Penelope's arms, was an unconscious eight year old girl. She was covered in the potion and was shivering.

"Quick, we need to get her a bath and some clothes." Penelope said.

"We also need a name for her." Rebecca said, "We can't keep calling her Kitty."

"No... we can't... but maybe." Penelope thought for a second, "I have a name."

An alarm went off, causing a teenage girl to wake up and interrupt her dream/memory. She raised her hand and claws replaced her nails. She claws it and it stopped. She got on her hands and knees and stretched. She got out of bed and walked over to her closet. She grabbed a bottle, drank it, and gagged at the taste.

"I hate the way this taste." She said.

Her name, is Catrina "Cat" Medicus, the cat turned witch. No one knows about it, afraid they'll think she's cursed, and knowing that cursed witches are usually discriminated against for "Dishonoring The Titan" enough to get the curse. She finished the bottle and got dressed in her Healing Track uniform, then headed downstairs, where her owne-mothers, that's still a bit hard for her to say, were waiting.

"Morning, Catrina." Penelope said, "How did you sleep?"

"Good." Cat said, sitting at the table, "What's for breakfast?"

"Your favorite." Rebecca said, placing a cooked fish in front of her.

Cat's eyes widened and she began eating the fish. Her mother smiled as they looked at each other.

"You know, you should really invite over that green haired girl you like." Rebecca said, causing Cat to start choking on her fish, "What was their name, Amelia?"

"Mom!" Cat said.

"What?" She asked, "You two would be a cute couple."

"It doesn't matter if we would or not... she likes Boscha." Cat said, "And Boscha likes me, it's a whole love triangle thing, okay?"

Cat just took one more bite of her fish and then headed to school before they managed to embarrass her enough to take one of her nine lives.

'Amelia would never love a cat.' Cat thought.
