(Author's Note: I want to apologize for not continuing this story for over a year. The college I'm in has gotten in the way, and I was busy working on my other story, wanting to conclude it before working on the other stories. I thank you for your patience and here is chapter 3 after a year of waiting. Sorry it isn't very long.)

(Once the bus came to a complete stop, Gumball stepped out of it. He checked around the area he was in. The sight can be described as a neighborhood in ruins. Broken windows, trash-filled streets, small fires everywhere, skeletons on the road. He saw a couple of kids run past him. He just remembered that his sweater was still on the bus. He tried to reclaim it, but the bus already left.)

Gumball: Dang. There goes my sweater.

(The blue cat begun to walk around the area. Carefully, he avoided drawing too much attention of himself in the neighborhood. Gunshots were heard in the distance. One thing that came in mind to him was the advice he was given when he was 5 years old. If he ever hears gunshots, he needs to run as fast as he can. And that is what he is doing right now. Once he no longer hears them, his running became walking while catching his breath. Checking the paper Linkin gave him, he inspected the address.)

Gumball: 1400 W DeeStreet Avenue. This should be simple enough. Live there for a few days and decide where I will go after that. One thing's for certain: I ain't going back to my old life.

(Later, back at Elmore, the Wattersons were getting ready for the next day. Well, most of them were. After last night's disaster, Nicole yawned while waking up from the couch. She was kicked out by Richard for what she did to their son. She was going to make some breakfast, but found Darwin already eating some.)

Darwin: Breakfast was already made. If you are looking for some, check outside.

(Nicole shrugged while heading outside. She didn't expect to see an angry Anais sitting on the grass.)

Nicole: Honey, why aren't you inside? It's time for breakfast.

Richard: (off-screen) You should know.

(Suddenly, Nicole got hit in the face by a stone cupcake. She was shocked to see Richard with a chef's hat and apron.)

Nicole: Richard? What are you doing? (screams before a sausage made of stone hits her)

Richard: What does it look like? I'm making breakfast.

Nicole: Well, where's my breakfast?

(Richard slams the plate of her breakfast. It was a pet bowl with cat food on it.)

Nicole: This is very ironic.

(Richard suddenly jammed a knife on the table, shocking Nicole.)

Richard: Outside! NOW!

(Nicole was kicked to the backyard. She suddenly saw Anais there too.)

Nicole: What are you doing here?

Anais: You don't know?

Richard: Gumball and Darwin told me what you did to them after breaking my heart! What you did tonight was the last straw!

Nicole: But why are you kicking out Anais? She didn't kick Gumball out.

Richard: Because I'm doing my job as a parent and making the right type of discipline!

(Richard storms off while Anais throws her eggs at Nicole's eggs.)

Anais: Even if I deserve this punishment, I can't keep my appetite with the one who gave him up.

(Nicole felt her upset stomach as her daughter left her. Later, the scene transitions to Elmore Junior High, in the auditorium. Everything was restored to its original state.)

Principal Brown: Alright students, apparently this young robot brought up something that got to my attention.

Bobert: Thank you, Mr. Brown. Greetings, everyone.

Tobias: What is it, Bobert? This better be good?

Bobert: Oh, it is. Gumball Watterson is declared innocent of the destruction of the school.

(This caused most of the school to laugh.)

Bobert: Now, everyone please settle down. I'll provide you all the evidence to show you what I'm talking about.

Jamie: So? We see it already. Gumball is right there, Bobert.

Bobert: Here is evidence one. Gumball's "hands" are paws, not actual hands like in the video.

(This got everyone to stop laughing instantly.)

Bobert: Second, Gumball Watterson's DNA does not match with the scan I did with this video.

(Bobert showing a screen that shown Gumball's One strand of hair didn't match the DNA.)

Bobert: And lastly, the only people who ever wanted this to happen has something against Gumball. That is why I ask everyone to take a DNA test. Everyone here must take it or you will be found as an accomplice to this crime and will be charged with vandalizing the school.

(Everyone looked at each other blankly. Everyone took the test and went into the auditorium to wait for the results.)

Alan: Did you find out who vandalized the school?

Bobert: I am afraid to inform you that none of you match the DNA.

Tobias: But how we will find out the culprit if isn't one of us?

Rachel: Maybe we have to remember some disastrous event that happened to us. The one that caused all that could be the one that did it.

(A few minutes passed by, then Darwin popped out.)

Darwin: I think I know who did it!

Bobert: Do tell, Darwin.

Banana Joe: Who framed Gumball and destroyed the school.

(Darwin clears his throat.)

Darwin: It was…

(The scene transitions to an unknown location. A silhouette was walking on top of a building. Thunder crashed while the rain poured.)

?: Yes. The plan is complete. It has been destroyed. I have managed to make the act of destruction emotionally. But now will be the time to strike with physical action. Gumball Watterson, you have been…

(A spotlight shines on him, revealing to be Rob, otherwise known as Dr. Wrecker)

Rob: Wrecked.
