AN: CHAPPY 1 IS HERE
3 year after the CPUs were captured
Location: Gamindustri Graveyard
"So this is the graveyard" IF says taking a good look at her surroundings
"Iffy, this place scares me" Compa says looking IF
"Don't worry Compa, we just have to find Nep and the others and get them out" IF says to Compa as she takes out one of her phones "Lady Histoire, we're here"
"GamIndustri Graveyard, the place where those who have passed go to rest for eternity" Histoire speaks through the phone, "everything that you see here was once an inhabitant of GamIndustri proper"
"R-really?" Compa questions with a scared tone of voice
IF sighs, "you know this is why i told you that it's fine for you to stay behind" IF tells her
"N-no way! I won't agree to that! I want to help Nep-Nep, Ge-Ge and the others as much as you do!" Compa says surprisingly passionately despite the fear she is feeling
"Alright, alright, jeez, i wont bring it up again" IF says with her hands up in a gesture of surrender
Histoire giggles are heard form the phone, "it's nice to see that the both of you are in high spirits despite the situation"
"Lady Histoire, i do have a question" IF states with a more serious expression on her face, "why did you have me bring the weird crystal with me for this?"
Histoire hums before speaking, "i have a theory that as it originated from Nepgear's Sharite crystal that Nepgear herself would be the only one capable of using it, and if nothing were to happen i'll simply have to investigate it further"
"Alright, Lady Histoire, i'll keep you on speaker phone in case you have any more input for how we should handle things" IF says
"Very well" Histoire responds
"Compa", IF calls out to her friend
"Y-yes" Compa looks over to IF
IF hands the multi-coloured crystal over to Compa and Compa looks at her friend confused
"Just in case we run into someone from ASIC when we are saving the Goddesses, I'll be the one who will fight them to stall them so I want you to give this to Gear when she wakes up, kay?" IF says
Compa had a complicated look on her face but ultimately nodded her head in understanding
"Alright let's quickly go find them so we can get them home fast" IF says as they venture off to find the captured Goddesses
A bit later
"Jeez at this rate it'll take us forever to find them.." IF says annoyed
"Kyaa!" Compa lets out a scream
"Compa! What's wrong?" IF asks Compa alarmed
"I-I-I hear v-voices" Compa says scared
"Really? Where?" IF asks her
"O-over there" Compa points in the direction she heard the voices
IF nods and the pair of them head in the direction Compa heard the voices
A few minutes later
As the pair walked in the direction of the voices IF herself started to hear the same voices letting out the occasional soft groan
As the sound of the voices grew louder the pair hurried over to them
Only to find themselves horrified at the sight
There they were, the CPUs and CPU candidate tied up by "Tentacle" wires (some of them were even in lewd positions)
"Nep!" IF calls out to her friend
"I-iffy…? Ngh" Purple Heart manages to say out before she passes out again
"Ge-Ge's here too!" said Compa looking at Purple Sister
Purple Sister however is completely unconscious
"This is horrible, who would do such a thing to them" Compa says with a worried tone
"She's still unconscious, damn it, what's with these tentacle things" IF says frustrated as she is about to try and pry them off
"Stop!" came Histoire's voice from the phone, " don't try to free them by hand, Compa, use the sharicite crystal i've provided"
"R-right" Compa says as she starts to look through her bag, "it's somewhere in here"
"I WON'T ALLOW IT!" a loud booming voice interrupted them
"KYAAA!" Compa screamed in fright
"What the! Shoot, who's there!" IF says looking towards where the voice came from
IF sees a hulking dark robotic warrior with armor blacker than night and an axe that that is as tall as him with a sickeningly green edge
The hulking robot starts laughing, "to think someone will be crazy enough to come here… inconceivable!" he yells as he moves towards them menacingly, "three years, three long years… I've been inactive for far too long, I finally get to destroy someone, I WILL DESTROY YOU!"
"Damn it, Compa, focus on waking them up, I'll handle him" IF says as she gets ready to fight
"O-okay, please be careful" Compa says as she goes to free the captive Goddesses
Compa brings the Sharicite Crystal close to the CPUs as the crystal glows brighter
"Please, Please wake up" Compa says as the crystal glows even brighter although something unexpected happened as all of the energy in the crystal flowed into Purple Sister as she was the only one freed
The excess of Share energy that was absorbed into Purple Sister transformed her processor unit as the white of her unit was replaced by black and the pink replaced by lilac and her hair was pulled up into a high ponytail with a black gear holding it in place and the white circular hairpin replaced by a black gear hairpin
"Ge-Ge! Are you ok?" Compa asks the now free girl happily, despite the fact that the girl in question is holding her head as though she has a headache
"Ugh.. Com..pa..? Where..?" Nepgear, Purple Sister, says as her strength slowly returns to her
She shakes her head and takes a look around "right, the graveyard…"
Compa was about to ask why the girl was speaking so softly when they both heard IF scream
"IFFY!" Compa yells as her friend is sent flying, in her peripheral vision she sees a flash of lilac
IF would have had a nasty landing if she wasn't caught by someone and she and the person that caught her are sent skeeding back, something IF noticed was lilac coloured particles lingering as vanishing into nothing
IF looks to see who caught her only to find herself baffled as Purple Sister is the one that caught her, a quick glance over to where Compa was to see that the same lilac particles from when Purple Sister caught her were there as well
Compa had run over to them, "Iffy, Ge-Ge are you ok!?" she asks them with a worried tone of voice
"'M'kay, what about you IF?" Purple Sister answers before deflecting to IF
"More or less" IF gives her answer, "He is stupid strong though"
Purple Sister hums softly as she opens her right hand to summon her Gunblade to her hand only for a small light to form and then fizzle away, Purple Sister looks to her hand and frowns slightly, 'desync? Why is there desync? Damn it, not good'
"WEAK! So Pathetically WEAK! Come on! Make this interesting! Make me feel alive!" the robot bellows out
"Ah, Ge-Ge here" Compa hands Purple Sister the weird Crystal and Purple sister accepts the crystal with a curious look on her face
As soon as the Crystal is in Purple Sister's hand the Crystal turns into the gauntlets and grieves formed around her arms and legs
Purple Sister's eyes widen 'Light-Gear? Why is it here? Why did they have it? What the hell is going on?' Purple Sister grimaces, 'damn it, i don't have time to think about these things'
Purple Sister places a hand on both IF and Compa's shoulders and whispers to them, "can we get anyone else out?"
Compa shakes her head "the sharicite crystal got completely drained waking you up Ge-Ge" she says sadly
Purple Sister hums, "then get ready to run, no point staying here longer than we need to be"
IF and Compa nods as Purple Sister stands up and moves forward to face the hulking robot
"HEY! Why don't you pick on someone your own size" Purple Sister yells out to the robot
The robot laughs, "you? A mere candidate? Face me, CFW Judge, will you even have the strength" the now named Judge says gleefully
"Let's just see…" Purple sister whispered before she disappeared in a flash of lilac. Judge blinked and the girl vanished from where she was. He looked around confused until she appeared instantly in front of him.
Her stance indicated that she was prepared to strike with her left arm pulled back as her right hand, open with the tip of her middle finger just barely not touching his chest.
"What the…!" was all Judge managed to get out before Purple Sister, in one fast fluid motion, clutched her right hand and punched Judge with a surprising amount of force sending Judge, who was caught by surprise, flying back (had anyone paid attention they would notice that Judge was sent approximately halfway across the graveyard)
Immediately afterwards Purple Sister turns 180 and starts running
IF and Compa, understanding the very obvious signal, start running in the direction they arrived from with Purple sister following behind them
On occasion throughout the run back IF would glance at Purple Sister and see that she is lagging further behind them only to speed up and return to the distance that she had with them
They heard a roar of anger from CFW Judge just as they reached the portal back to the Planeptune Basilicom
The trio more or less dives into the portal to escape the graveyard
Location: Planeptune Basilicom - Histoire's office
IF, Compa and Purple Sister enter Histoire's office through the portal that the diminutive oracle had created for IF and Compa to go save the goddesses in a spectacular crash landing
"Goodness! girls! Are you ok?" Histoire asks the trio soon after they crash land in her office
"More or less" IF responds
"I think so" Compa says
"Ngh" Purple Sister groans out before she passes out and her CPU transformation gets undone
"Nepgear/Gear/Ge-Ge" Histoire, IF and Conpa calls out to Nepgear as the girl suddenly passes out
Histoire quickly activates a diagnostic spell to see what's wrong with the girl
The oracle's eyes widen, "IF, Compa, Help me get Nepgear to the Sharicite Chamber NOW!"
"R-RIGHT!" both girls say as they spring into action immediately
Location: Planeptune Basilicom - Sharicite Chamber
A short while later
The group is now watching as Nepgear's unconscious body is floating in front of her Sharicite Crystal whilst being bathed in its light
"Lady Histoire, what's wrong with Gear?" IF asks while she does her best to console the peach haired girl
although she looks composed she is afraid of what could be wrong with Nepgear
"De-sync" Histoire says, "it's a special "illness" so to speak that is only applicable to CPUs and CPU Candidates"
Seeing the confused looks she's getting from the duo she elaborates further, "Think of it like a lag spike in a game because your console is incapable of handling the amount of things happening on screen, in this case however, the mind is moving faster than the body and as such the mind will feel sudden spikes of resistance as the body does not move as the mind wants it to and if there is enough resistance then the CPU won't be able to battle by the way of not being able to summon their weapon"
"Those spikes of resistance can cause the CPU to get headaches and if the CPU pushes themselves hard enough they will pass out from the mental strain, the only known way to remedy a de-sync in a CPU is to let them bath in the light of their sharicite crystal, thankfully the illness is rare and there has only been 4 CPUs, including Nepgear, that have ever contacted it" Histoire finishes her explanation
"S-so Ge-Ge will be ok?" Compa asks the tome
"Yes she should be fine after the Sharicite has done its thing" Histoire says
