With IF, Compa and Linda/Underling
"You broads think you can stop me? Don't make me laugh" Underling says as she get ready to fight them
IF huffs, "don't get cocky Underling, we won't allow you to destroy the Mascot" she says seriously
"Ge-Ge is Counting on us" Compa says with as serious of a tone as she could muster
With Nepgear and Lancio
We pan over to Nepgear and CFW Lancio only to see that neither have moved since we left them
There's a light breeze going through the clearing, carrying with it is a leaf
A leaf that slowly descends towards the ground
As soon as the leaf touched the ground
Nepgear took off straight at her opponent as she summons her beam-sabres from her inventory
While Lancio pulls on the chain and with a spin around him, he sends the ball at Nepgear
'Too easy' Nepgear thinks as a small smirk forms on her face as she goes past that steel ball
Or at least, she attempts to
As what actually happened is that as she attempted to go past the steel ball a strong wind current forcefully pulled her back in front of the steel ball
Her eyes widen as she get hit by the steel ball
"GAAAAH!" came Nepgear's scream
With IF, Compa and Linda/Underling
"GAAAAH!"
"What the…" IF said as she looked over to where Nepgear was fighting the other guy
"NO" Compa yells as she saw Nepgear sent flying after getting hit
Underling takes advantage of the fact that IF and Compa are distracted and go in to destroy the Mascot
IF who saw Linda rushing to destroy the Mascot out of the corner of her vision chased after her to stop her
However she was just a bit slow as Linda swings her metal pole down to break the Mascot, she knew she wouldn't be able to reach it in time
With Nepgear and Lancio
Lancio, who saw that Linda was about to complete their task of destroying the Mascot could only smirk in satisfaction
Nepgear however wasn't bothered by the turn of events as she has a couple of aces up her sleeve
4 aces to be exact, and her aces haven't failed her yet and she trusts that they won't fail her now
As such she focuses on what had just happened as she takes a hard look at the ball
While she cant see much due to the distance she can tell that the ball has grooves on it
'I didn't feel any magic when he chucked the ball at me, so no magic, just a gimmick, if he can use magic however that ball will be deadly in the hands of a trained master like him' She thinks to herself, 'since he is a CFW, chances are that he can, in fact, use magic, at the end of the day, one of the easiest ways to demolish someone would be to give them a false sense of security'
With IF, Compa and Linda/Underling
*Clang*
The sound of metal clashing against metal can be heard as Underling's Metal pipe was stopped in its tracks by what can be described as a curved shadowy rod held by a shadowy figure
The figure pushes Underling away with enough force to send her past IF and Compa
The shadows around the figure recede, revealing Magi, with a scythe that has a crimson energy edge in hand
"Y'know, my lady has a particular disdain for underhanded brats like you" she says as she lets out her killer intent aimed at Underling
IF and Compa started to shake from fear due to the amount of bloodlust radiating off of the red head
"MAGI! TURN THAT BLOODLUST OF YOURS DOWN A COUPLE NOTCHES!" Nepgear yells from her side of the field
"Yes Ma'am!" Magi Squeaks
With Nepgear and Lancio
"MAGI! TURN THAT BLOODLUST OF YOURS DOWN A COUPLE NOTCHES!" Nepgear yells to her familiar
"Yes Ma'am!" She hears Magi Squeak
Nepgear rolls her eyes as she focuses back on her opponent
"Alright, times up for round 2" she says as she tosses her broken beam-sabres aside
Lancio grunts as he pulls on the chain, once again bringing the ball back to him
This time however instead of spinning it around himself and sending it at her like he did earlier, he smacks it with his palm to send it back towards Nepgear at a much faster speed than before
Nepgear on the other hand took a stance, the same stance she took against Judge, as she took a deep breath to calm and centre herself
She kept her eyes closed opting to listen to the sound of gushing wind for the queue to unleash her attack
With IF, Compa, Magi and Linda/Underling
Despite the admittedly adorable squeak that left Magi's mouth at Nepgear's order to tone down her bloodlust, Magi turned out to be a beast of a warrior
Her attacks were fast, precise and relentless and once you add the fact that her weapon has a razor sharp energy edge, Underling found her metal pipe getting shorter with each strike from Magi
However Magi was surprisingly passive during the entire time that they were facing Underling, she was defending the Mascot and she was doing just that, nothing more, nothing less
*CRAAAASH*
The sudden crash surprised all four of them and caused IF, Compa and Linda to look to the direction of the battle between Nepgear and Lancio while Magi kept her eyes trained on Linda
What IF, Compa and Linda saw was the the large steel ball used by Lancio in pieces as Lancio's eyes were widened
And Nepgear in the aftermath of unleashing her 1-inch punch
"W-what the heck!" Linda exclaims
"You're surprised?" Magi says with an amused smirk, "my lady has destroyed much bigger and harder things in the past"
She would have said more had a "rock" not hit her on the head, "owie!" she said as she put her free hand on where the "rock" had hit her
With Nepgear and Lancio
Very quickly after Nepgear had destroyed the Steel ball she started to feel a discomfort on her tongue causing her face to twist into a grimace as she kicks up a piece of rubble from the destroyed steel ball and chucked it straight at Magi
Magi looks over to her with a pout on her face and Nepgear makes a zipping motion over her mouth. Magi still pouting nods although she looks like she's going to have one of her dark cloud moments…again
'Honestly, that girl' Nepgear sighs as she thinks relatively fondly of the red head
She shakes her head before ducking and doing a quick sidestep followed by a couple of hops back
Lancio, who had taken advantage of the fact that Nepgear had turned her back to him, had rushed at her and attempted to punch her, really hard from the looks of it
"Heh, not bad" Nepgear says to her opponent
Lancio raised an eyebrow at her comment
"What? did you expect me to say that it's unfair that you attacked me when I had my back turned to you?" she asks with a raised eyebrow, "sorry to disappoint if that's the case, this isn't a moderated battle in a ring, i'm not expecting the slightest hint of fairness from the likes you or her during this"
He chuckles, "you have a better head on your shoulders than most, little Candidate" he says
She Hums, as Ethereal Shuriken, Kunai and Short Swords form around her
"As much as i want to continue this, i'm afraid i'll have to cut this short" She says as she brings her left hand behind her and holds her right hand in a one handed Ram seal
"64-bit Hurricane" Nepgear Calls out the name of her Technique and all of the Ethereal Weapons that have been forming thus far shot themselves at him as hundreds upon hundreds more formed and joined on the onslaught and very quickly created what is essentially a Hurricane made of Bladed Weapons, and Lancio was sent flying like certain pair and cat in a certain anime
With IF, Compa, Magi and Linda/Underling
We cut back to these four to see IF swinging her Katars at Linda with the intention of getting her away from the Mascot
Linda, who was dodging and weaving away from IFs attacks as she is now Weaponless due to Magi cutting her metal pipe into small metal rings
Compa who was standing Guard of the Mascot
And Magi who is curled up into a ball with a dark cloud over her head next to Compa after Nepgear had told her to zip her mouth
They had felt it get really windy however it wasn't bad enough for them to pay attention to it
So it came as a surprise when Nepgear appeared in a flash of Lilac in front of little Underling with an Ethereal Short Sword in hand pressed against Underling's neck
Underling's eyes widened as her current predicament processed in her head
"End of the line little Underling" Nepgear says surprisingly darkly
"Linda Eliza Lilianna, under the order of Planaptune's Oracle and CPU Candidate, you are under arrest" an unknown voice speaks up with complete seriousness as a blue-haired girl in armour handcuffs the Underling
"Nice job, Brinny" Nepgear compliments the blue-haired girl
"Thank you, Lady Nepgear" She says with a small smile, "although, it seems like Magi is spiraling again"
Nepgear sighs, "i'll deal with it, just hold on to this one for me, we'll drop her off at the police station on the way to the Basilicom"
"Of course, Lady Nepgear" 'Brinny' says with a respectful tilt of her head
Nepgear makes her way over to IF and Compa
"Um, Ge-Ge, Who are they?" Compa asks about the two girls that have joined them that clearly look to Nepgear in high regard and of course the fact that Nepgear seems to know them
"Well…" Nepgear points to the redhead who still has that dark cloud over her head "that's Magi, and that," she points to the Bluenette that just joined them "is Brin"
"Gear, please" IF says, emphasising the "please", feeling undeniably exasperated
Nepgear takes a deep breath as a method to calm herself down after a battle, "look, I'm not going to go through the effort of explaining just to have to do it again later when we get to the Basilicom" she says dryly while giving IF a flat look before making her way over to the Mascot
IF pouts at Nepgear's response, she understands where the Lilac haired girl is coming from but it doesn't change the fact that she hates being left in the dark, especially in situations like this one
Compa comes close to IF, "iffy, Ge-Ge cant tell us everything, remember?" she asks the she softly asks the Guild agent
IF sighs "i know" she looks at her friend, "this entire thing is going to drive me up the wall isn't it?"
Compa giggles "I'm sure Ge-Ge won't do that to you on purpose…" she says with a smile
IF nods her head "yeah, you're probably right"
As Nepgear got close to the Mascot she couldn't help the massive sweatdrop that formed over her head
Because the Mascot is still sleeping, with light snores coming from it
'Seriously, all that ruckus caused by both the battles that just happened simultaneously and it's still snoozing…' Nepgear thinks to herself 'is Planeptune the Nation of progress or is it the Nation of laziness?'
*TAP**TAP*
the Mascot mumbles lightly before going back to its snoozing
*TAP**TAP**TAP*
The Mascot mumbles and shakes but still isn't waking up
IF, Compa and Brin, hell even Underling are watching Nepgear lightly tap on the Mascot and get slowly more irritated from the lack of response from the Mascot
IF could feel a sweatdrop form from the sight "Gear looks like she's about to explode…"
Compa and Brin just nod in agreement with the blue clad woman
Underling wouldn't admit it out loud but she was getting a kick out of seeing the seemingly unflappable lilac haired girl slowly lose her composure over that fact that she isn't getting a response from the Mascot
Nepgear's eye is twitching
And really, why wouldn't she be
She's been tapping gently, trying to wake the Mascot for the past 30 minutes
*TAP**TAP**TAP*
Once again the Mascot who is seemingly in a really heavy sleep doesn't wake up
"OH FOR GOODNESS' SAKE, WAKE UP!" Nepgear has had enough and finally just yells at the sleeping Mascot
"EEEEP!" the Mascot squeaks as it somehow 'jumps' twice Nepgear's height into the air and thankfully 'lands' without being damaged or destroyed
"Goodness, CPU Candidate, that was uncalled for" the Purple Disk says, if it were capable of facial expressions it would be frowning
"I've been trying to wake you, FOR 30 MINUTES!" Nepgear says with her eye twitching dangerously
"...oh" was all the Mascot could say at that statement, you could almost see redness on it from it being flustered
IF puts her hands on Nepgear's shoulders "Alright Gear, why don't you go cheer up that Magi girl while I talk to the Mascot"
Nepgear frowns at the suggestion but doesn't refute her and goes over to Brin and starts conversing with her
The Mascot sighs, seemingly deflating after Nepgear moves away
"Thank you for that, the CPU Candidate is rather frightening" it says with a nervous laugh
"I could see, maybe we should finish the business talk before she gets too irritated again" IF suggests
While she doubted that Nepgear would get irritated enough to be shouty again very soon but the Mascot didn't need to know that
"Of course, i would very much like to know the reason for this rather impromptu visit" The Mascot says
"Well…" IF started
AN: this'll be my last update for a while, im going on a trip with the family for a week or 2 in a couple of days
