I regret nothing!
They really should have listened to Compa,
"What should they have listened to Compa about?" you might ask
The answer is simple, they should have listened to Compa about playing with their phones while they were walking around the city
They (Nepgear and IF) didn't listen to Compa's advice which lead to this particular situation
The situation in question being that a person had bumped into the brunette causing the girl to lose grip of her phone and for her phone to break after it falls to the ground
"No…" IF says with her eyes wide looking helplessly at her broken phone, "NOOOOOOO!"
Nepgear would privately admit that it was amusing to see how IF's world came crashing down in slow motion as her phone was broken and she turned into quite a crybaby
Nepgear crouches next to IF "IF? You ok?" She asks gently
"Broken… my phone… broken" IF says in a broken tone before she starts sniffling
"Oh no.." Nepgear whispers to herself as she pulls IF into a hug just in time for IF to start crying
Compa looks exasperated, well as exasperated as the bubbly girl can be as this isn't the first time IF made a scene after someone took her phone or something happened to her phone
"Iffy, sweetie, please calm down, everything will be ok" Nepgear says as she works on consoling the dignified woman turned woman-child in her arms
"B-but…my p-phone…m-my g-games…m-my saves…all…all" was all she managed to get out before she starts crying again
Nepgear is rubbing circles into the brunettes back while humming to calm the other girl down
She kept at it until IF's crying was reduced to soft sobbing
"Iffy, sweetie, why don't we take your phone to the repair center not that far away from here?" Nepgear asks IF and IF nods into Nepgear's shoulder "and while the good people at the repair center fix your phone up we can go and get some ice cream, would you like that?"
"Uh huh… thanks mommy…" IF says not realizing what she just said as Nepgear and Compa's eyes widen at how IF referred to Nepgear
Nepgear however was quick to regain her composure, "alrighty, to the repair center we go, come on sweetie, I'll hold your hand ok?"
"Kay" IF says as she lets Nepgear lead her to the repair center
Compa, who was for the most part left out of this scene coz I couldn't figure out how to integrate her into it, giggles to herself after regaining her composure
"who knew Ge-Ge can be so maternal~" She says with a giggle as she quickly follows after them
