Exploring Naruto's feelings and the Council's feelings on the matter were- to the best of my recollection- not touched upon but, a lot of Naruto and Anko eventual interactions were. Funny enough the part was Missing and Rouge meant different things came to me on the spot.
Cobalt027: Thank you. Also, I tried the way back machine. Two or three of them. I never saw any results. The only thing I remember is the title and not the original author. I think most computers/phones from that era of Fiction are no more. I think I had a blackberry around that time.

Chapter 3: Healing pt 1

The dark cramped hallway, with the wet floor, was unnaturally silent, something he could never get used to. not even the dripping of a pipe could be heard now.. The red and blue Pipes in the ceiling running up and down with the red pipes currently pulsing red and the blue pipes dull. With the occasional purple pipe connecting the two. Uzumaki Naruto knew this place well. He had come here many times over the course of his training, during the last five years. His purpose was to tame the Kyuubi no Kitsune. Tame wasn't quite the right word. In the words of his fellow Jinchiruki Kira B, Fu, and Nii Yugito, it was more along the lines of learning to live with the creature inside, and get to know them as if they were a person and not a tool to be used for war.
He had to learn to live with it as more than a creature, but a partner. That was easier said than done as even among the other Buuji it was basically confirmed that Kyubi was the most hard-headed of all the Buuji. Even more so than the murdering psychopath that was Shukaku the one-tailed beast.
Naruto took the lesson to heart and began to meditate, learn about his tenet and work out whatever problems they had. A year into his training Jiraya used his connections and called in a favor in Kumo of all places. With the help of Kira and Yugito managed to tame his inner darkness, It had taken weeks just to learn that his darkness was a part of him. That it wasn't going away and would always be with him, that it was him. His darkest desires all locked away. Behind a goofy smile and jokes. Once he was able to accept his Darkness then he was able to become whole again. He no longer needs to use jokes to cope with his pain. Sure, he still did it, but now. Now it was because he enjoyed it.
Accepting his darkness also meant that he learned things about the world around him. Sure he was stupid and allowed Sakura to lead him by the nose and into bed for what could only be called a 'lackluster' first time, but when he travailed with Jiraya. Well he learned that Jiraya wasn't just a pervert for no reason, but that was for another time.
Right now Naruto knew that Yasaka was going to be pissed at him. So he made his way to her chambers. Not cage, but chambers. After many long talks working things out and discovering that Kyubi chose to be a female majority of the time. Kyubi as a demon had no real gender and chose it's own. Throughout it's long life it had been male at times and female. However, because of the many female's that it had inhabited, Kyubi chose to live and be a woman maybe 95 percent of the time. The name she chose for her female form was called Yasaka.
Closing his eyes Naruto pictured Yasaka's area. A forest surrounding a mountain top temple. The air thick with the scent the new life of spring, the main chamber was bigger and then it looked, but at the entrance of the shrin no gate was there only a piece of paper that had several powerful and hard to understand seals. It was the only thing keeping her from leaving the room, but Naruto could enter the room. He had done so many times without fear for his life at this point. He trusted Yasaka.
"Your... a fucking... idio Narutot," came a voice from inside the room.
Naruto looked Inside the shrine and laying on the ground of the shrine was a woman. The word beauty would do her a disservice as no one in the elemental nations could match her demonic beauty. She had crafted her appearance after the Sneju and Uzumaki clans who had the most beautiful women in the entire elemental nations. Sure there were rare exceptions to this, but for the most part it was gospel truth. In this her human form Yasaka appeared before him as a young woman with a voluptuous figure, her FF- cup breasts, wide child birthing hips that screamed to be grabbed, and large behind that jetted out slightly made her someone that easily outclassed anyone Naruto had ever met in his life. Tsunade being a FAR off second place. What would have been a waterfall of long blonde hair was tied in a loose ponytail, reaching all the way down to her her calves endiong up in a spiral, with taut bandages to keep it in place, amber eyes looked at him with her usual energy and playful mood gone. Now she was just tired. She is a woman with delicate facial features and her eyebrows are cut very short and round. From Naruto's understanding of his nearly extinct clan, this was a traditional sign of higher nobility amoung the Uzumaki. He had only seen one woman like that in his clan and that was the picture of the 1st Hokage's Wife. She wore a yellow kimono, a golden obi, and wore a black pelt, with gold skulls and lines printed on it. The kimono features a white interior and it is open at her shoulders, giving view to her enormous breasts. Her hair was held back by a traditional hair ornament, with six golden bira kanzashi and several red kanzashi.
Naruto smiled sadly as he looked at his friend. He walked over and into the cage. Naruto had no fear of her attacking him, not because the seal would react to her hostilities, but because he considered her a friend. He sat with his back agaist the wall before lifting her tired head into his lap. Even though he knew that his body was healing itself, here he was 100 percent perfect just tired.
"I know," said Naruto as he stoked one of her large fenic fox ears making her suppress a moan of happiness.
They sat in the quit for a lnog moment. Just enjoying each other's company. He just glad to not be alone right now and her looking at the man she had knowen since before he was even born. The person she had watched be shaped in his mother's womb, his very life and soul being formed during those nine months, before... before she was forced to kill her best friend. But bitter memories didn't help matters. They would'nt change things and could only cause more issues.
Yasaka sighed as she took her head out of his lap and sat up properly. "That Uchiha did a real number on you. Your body would have quit a long time ago if you were a regular human. Sometimes I wonder how much of a freak of nature you are," said Yasaka.
Naruto looked around and saw that her futon was unrolled. He looked at her with a grin. "Care to ride or be taking from behind?" asked Naruto.
Yasaka looked at him and let out a barking laugh. "HA! As if your man enough to handle me. Maybe you'd like to go back and fuck that little snow piece of yours or how about that Fuma clan girl... Sasaki... no Sasame," said Yasaka with a grin.
Naruto sighed in annoyance. This was an old and rather annoying joke between them. Naurto had slept with three women his entire life. Sakura who was his rather lackluster first time and what he regreated, Koyuki when they had made a stop in the Land of Spring for the better part of a year and he acted as her bodyguard and honorary Jonin of the Yuki Shinobi forces with Tsunades's blessing. And finally was Fuma Sasame during a brief stop and information trading session with the Fuma Clan. With the exception of Koyuki- who practically ordered Naruto to sleep in her chambers when not training or on missions as a Liasion between the Spring and Konoha Shinobi- both Sakura and Sasame had been one night stands.
No aside from that there was a challenge in her tone. While Naruto and Yasaka could be considered friends there was an underline of... dislike on both parts. Both knew that one day they would have to settle up and fight it out,. When it happened nothing would be left on the table. They would fight and try to kill each other. but that was probably sometime off and now was not the time.
"How bad was the damage?" asked Naruto.
Yasaka dropped the playfulness of her voice. "It was bad I knew going into that fight it would be hard for you, but... hell I didn't realize that it would be that tough. Before you two even got to the halfway mark you were already taking on major damage, and I was just making sure your body didn't break. I never should have told you I felt his Chakra when I did," said Yasaka.
"It's fine Yasaka. I'm alive," said Naruto
Yasaka pounded on Naruto's chest. "No it's not. You nearly died and that seal he used on you... it nearly killed you. Nearly did both of us in and I can't lie that
Naruto winced at the mention of the seal. It had been a stupid mistake. On Naruto's part. It happened only moments after Sasuke destroyed Naruto's left eye. Naruto had been in so much pain that the fact that his eye was destroyed barely registered to him. Sasuke had used the Five elemental seal to temporally seal Yasaka's Youkai. While it didn't knock Naruto out like it would have when he was younger, it did put a massive strain on his chakra for several moments where Sasuke took his team to beat the ever loving shit out of Naruto. Naruto managed to dredge up a reserve of Yasaka's chakra and used it to created a super powered explosive clone that did more of the superficial damage to sasuke as he wasn't able to escape with the explosion, but it had been a double edged sword as it blasted Naruto away as well and had scorched his skin. Once away he had spammed 20 clones to buy him some time to use Five elements Unseal.
From that point Naruto and Yasaka combined their chakra into the Unstable, toxic chakra that could kill Naruto if he went beyond 5 tails.
"In fact your still on the verge of death, but I can save you," said Yasaka licking her lips, not in a seductive way, just thoughtfully.
"How?" asked Naruto.
"You have to remove part of my seal," said Yasaka.
Naruto looked at her. He trusted Yasaka, but both knew that removing the seal would result in death for both of them. Naruto knew that as a Shinobi his life was forfeit the moment he joined the academy. Naruto had studied the Reaper Death seal as part of his training. He had come to the conclusion of what it was fairly quickly. It was an all or nothing Hail Mary. Nothing in the Elemental Nations was strong enough to break that bad boy. Many people thought that it just converted Chakra into more chakra, but it was so much more then that. In Essene it turned anything that was sealed into something reverse parasite. Yasaka was trapped in him, but he gained majority of the benefits. She was aware of things that happened to an extent, but not by much. She couldn't see out of Naruto's eyes, taste using his tongue or hear using his ears, but she gained enough just though her ability to sense chakra.
"But we've talked about this before. If I remove the seal we'll both die," said Naruto.
"You don't have to remove the whole seal, just a quarter of it. Specifically the bottom right corner. If you remove that it will remove the 'safe' amount of youki that needs to be converted into chakra. It will also speed up the healing process going form advanced healing to regeneration," said Yasaka.
"Any other side effects?" asked Naruto.
"Oh there will be plenty. Your body will also be completely remade. Your bones will be denser and harder to break. Your Chakra should balance itself out along side your control. Not to the same extent as your that big breasted Senju girl, but it will still be much better than it currently is. You'll be a Pseudo-Immortal. You can still die of old age, but you'll stop aging by the time your 24 or 25 and live to be about... 300 years old. I think the oldest living Uzumaki was about 172. Maybe a tail," said Yasaka.
"Okay, time out Yasaka. I can live with everything else, but not the tail," said Naruto.
Yasaka gave a small laugh. "That's a little joke Naruto. It would take a significantly larger portion of Youki to do that. Just know that when you do this... it will be painful, even here in your soul. You'll feel it," said Yasaka as she examined her nails. More to her worry than anything
Naruto nodded before he walked out of the seal and reached for the lower right corner, only for a hand to appear and grab Naruto's hand.
"I wouldn't do that if I was you," came a voice that Naruto had never heard.
Naruto gripped the hand and threw the person who had stopped him and drew a kunai before throwing it at the figure. The figure drew three kunai and threw two on them, before batting away the kunai Naruto threw. The figure vanished in yellow light, just as Naruto caught the kunai and appeared right in front of Naruto and locked Kunai with him. Naruto didn't even think about it before Naruto quickly created a Rasengan in his right hand.
"RASENGAN!" yelled Naruto and the mystery figure.
The two Rasengans collided and exploded sending the two men flying away from each other.
The figure laughed. "I didn't think that you'd be so strong at such a young age Naruto,"
"Who the hell are you and how did you get into my mind?" asked Naruto
"Both of those answers are complicated. But to answer the first... you've seen my face a few times, although considering how much your face is like your mother's I can understand not knowing it's me," said the figure as they stepped out from the shade of the sakura tree.
Naruto and Yasaka's eyes widened. One in shock the other in rage.
"YOU!" yelled Yasaka and Naruto
The man who stood before them was tall even Naruto who was 5'9 was still slightly shorter than this man's own 6'1 frame, fair-skinned, and could pass for Naruto's slimmer older brother, both had blue eyes and spiky, blond hair, only the man's was slightly shorter with jaw-length bangs framing either side of his face. He was very handsome and this was only helped further by the confident look in his eyes, wearing a standard Konoha uniform of a long sleeve blue shirt and sweat pants, with two bands on both of his sleeves, a green Jonin tactical vest, blue Headband, and blue sandals, a short-sleeved long white haori that was closed in the front by a thin, orange rope and decorated by red flame-like motifs on the edges and without even looking at the back both knew what was written in Kanji on the back, in Kanji "Fourth Hokage"
This man was the only Shinobi to receive a flee on Sight order from two Nations, the man who earned the Moniker of Yellow flash and Youngest Kage in Konoha's history achieving the title at the age of 23. This was Namikaze Minato... Naruto's father.
"Hello Son," said Minato with a smile.
Naruto looked at the face of his hero, his father. He slowly walked up to Minato who knew that in the next moment Naruto would hug him and accept that Minato knew bet-
WHAM!"
The punch was definitely not what Minato was expecting and it wasn't something super-powered or anything like that it was just a punch that carried some ump to it!
Yasaka looked at the entire scene before she burst out laughing! "That's what you get dumb ass. Being sealed for 17 years was worth seeing you laid flat on your higher than the clouds ass!"
Minato wiped the blood from his mouth. "I deserved that," said Minato.
"You deserve a helluva lot more than that!" yelled Naruto gritting his teeth.
Minato sighed. "Yeah... I probably do. You have to understand Naruto that... When Kyubi was freed from your mother there was very little I could do. And what Leader could ask someone else to give up their child and not their own,"
"You had options! Leave Konoha to burn! Evacuated the civilians to the border forts and surrounding towns. YOU HAD CHOICES! And even if you had stayed and fought Yasaka alone you could have bought time for the shinobi to prepare an effective counterattack!" yelled Naruto,
"I couldn't do that, especially not with Uchiha Madara using Kyubi to attack Konoha. Lives were at stake Naruto,"
Naruto looked at him like he was stupid. " Aside from the fact that your name dropping with no real explication at this point, you left your son to the wolves to save BUILDINGS! It's just a bunch of buildings! You could have rebuilt the village. Instead, you allowed 47 percent of the Shinobi force to throw their lives away leaving us to the mercy of Kumo. Sure, in the books we won the third war, but we suffered for it greatly. Two S-ranked Rouge Ninja, the Hyuga-Kumo Incident, The Uchiha Massacre, the falling academy standards, and are just the things I know about. You could have changed everything! All you had used that legendary big brain of yours!" Said the enraged teenager pointing to his head with both his fingers as he stood over his father!
"Not if everyone was dead and Madara wouldn't have stopped until all of the people were dead," said Minato.
"Were there any other options?" asked Naruto.
"There was one other option, but I didn't take it out of fear of not being a good father to you if I allowed your mother to seal Kyubi back inside her body and take her to the afterlife with her. Kushina.. your mother she wanted me to seal Kyubi back inside of her and allow her to take it with her to the afterlife, but I couldn't do that. I couldn't allow Kushina to do it," said Minato.
Naruto looked at him. "So, you left me alone because of fear and choosing n,"
Minato looked down. "You weren't supposed to be alone. Jiraya, Tsunade, Kakashi, hell even Mikoto and Inuzuka Tsume were supposed to look after you if they couldn't. You should have been raised a Hero, you should have been treated better than anyone else in the village," said Minato.
Yasaka growled. "So you left a child alone... because you couldn't be a father without a woman to mother him. Give me a fucking break. With how much pussy was thrown at you and how many women you took to bed behind Kushina's back I'm shocked you don't have a bastard or two running around... oh wait your wife put a seal on your sack to kill any sperm that wouldn't react to anything but Uzumaki DNA. Why she never killed you for sleeping around on your Old Sensei's recommendation I'll never understand,"
"That's different. She slept with other men too," said Minato with a blush knowing that he had tried and failed to sleep with a few kunoichi in the past.
"One seduction mission to a rich asshole where she laid on her back for him and you think you know something! Hell Kushina couldn't even turn down the mission like Kunoichi today can! That mission turned the tide of battle with Kumo,"
Minato looked away and knew that Yasaka was right, but didn't want to accept it. He had been right.
"We're not here to talk about that. You had Kakashi to help you and provide for you. Kushina-san and I adopted him after,"
"That's the thing Fourth-sama I lived the first 12 years of my life alone. When I cut myself, I bandaged it alone, when I joined the Shinobi Academy with many civilians calling for me to not be allowed in! I celebrated alone that achievement ALONE. When I became a genin I celebrated alone! You should have been there but you were a coward. If you ever had an ounce of love fo," said Naruto. "You owe me this! I'm not going to let a dead man who feared raising his son alone to dictate my life!"
Hearing his son call him Fourth-sama broke Minato as tears rolled down his face. Missed moments, chances, and opportunities to teach his son. All because he was a coward and chose the village and his wife over his son.
"You may not believe me, but Naruto. I do love you. I hope. Nay I pray that you never have to make the same choice I had to make. I love you son and hope that one day you can forgive me for doing my job as the Fourth Hokage of the Hidden Leaf village," said Minato as he began to fade away.
Once Minato was gone Naruto looked at the spot where he once was with a bit of sadness.
"Come on Naruto. Remove the seal. Don't waste your sympathy for that devil," said Yasaka.
Naruto walked over to the seal and ripped the corner off. The Cage buckled for a moment before it opened slightly as red youki rushed out and slammed into Naruto. Naruto didn't know if he was screaming in his mind or in the real world all he knew was that the scream that tore from his throat was worse than any scream that he had ever unleashed! Ever nerve felt like it was dipped in acid, his blood was on fire, His skin felt like it was being peeled off layer by layer, his bones were creaking and rearranging themselves at will, and his left eye felt like it was bursting, and reforming at will.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
Yasaka ran to the bars of her cell and began to cry tears for Naruto. "Naruto-kun!"
Naruto heard her as if she was shouting from the shore of a lake. He tried to comfort her to wipe her tears away, but his own tears of blood made his vision red. He rolled over and screamed again. This was pain on a level that Naruto had never experienced before, this was suffering beyond what he thought he could take.
A gentle hand touched his body and as if healing chakra was flooding his body he turned to his back to see two people standing there. One of them looked like Gaara but if Gaara was a beautiful girl and the other... He was dressed as a Monk with sand brown robes, a bald head, and a hat covering his head.
"Gaara?" asked Naruto.
"I'll explain later Uzumaki Naruto, but right now I'm the only person in the world who can help you, the Youkai that is flooding your body had made it to dangerous for anyone else to approach you. Just like that day during the chunin exams when you saved me... I will help heal you," said Gaia as she grasped his hand.
The man sighed. "I miss the Old Gaia. She was a badass murdering bitch and not into all this lovely dovy girly stuff," said the man.
Yasaka growled making the man shiver. "Watch your mouth Shakaku or else i'll turn you into a litter box for Nibi-chan," said Yasaka.
Gaia ignored the sand tanuki and the goddess of a Kitsune in the cage. Her sole focus was on Naruto.

Place: Konoha Hospital, operating room 3
Time: 1500
Tsunade looked at the barrier that Naruto and Gaia were behind the air was tense and only got more so as time ticked onward. It had already been nearly an hour since the explosion. As much as Tsunade hated it she had the entire Hospital locked down and ANBU stationed around the entire peremiter of the Hospital in case the worse came to pass. Anko returned to the room and was seething in rage and baring her fangs at Shizune.
"How the fuck could you let this happen to him Shizune!?" yelled Anko.
"It's not like I didn't try Anko-chan! I didn't expect the chakra blast that was unleashed!" Shizune yelled back.
Anko growled. She knew that she was right, but that didn't help matters to the young woman as she looked at Naruto and Gaia. It wasn't a well-known fact, but before Orochimaru left the village Naruto was taken care of by him and Anko. For the first 3 years of his life 10-13 years Anko watched over little Naruto with the help of Orochimaru. Naruto's first words had been Anki... sure it wasn't anything to spectacular, but it swelled Anko's heart as she felt like a big sister. She watched him over the years. Sure she was under immense pressure herself, but she made sure her reputation was a shield for Naruto. He may not have known it, but she was one of the reasons why he had only been attacked and hurt once.
"That's enough both of you!" growled Tsunade.
The two looked at her and bowed to their leader.
"Hime look," said Jiraya as they all turned back to the barrier of sand.
The sand and chakra barrier fell away to reveal Gaia and Naruto. The former of whom was hugging Naruto to her bosom. Many of the females looked at Naruto and blushed. He was handsome. His face had slimmed slightly, and his once messy blonde hair was now red, his muscles seemed to have reshaped as well being more firm looking. Tsunade walked forward and opened his left eye to reveal that it was closer to Kushina's own purple than Minato's blue, but you'd have to be close to Naruto to realize that.
Two females- coucghankoandshizunecough- in the room felt a wave of jealousy wash over them, Jiraya was furiously writing in his little notebook trying not to giggle, and Tsunade felt both motherly pride that her 'son' bagged a bad bitch like Gaia, while also feeling like a mama bear that needed to rip this girl off her baby.
Instead, Tsunade settled for looking at Naruto and smiling. At him. "Anko go call off the ANBU units outside. After which You, Neko, and someone you trust will guard Naruto until further notice and a proper security measure can be set up Shizune get a security rotation for Naruto and Sasuke. Gaia... I can't order you around, but,"
"As I told you before Tsunade-sama, I owe a debt to Uzumaki Naruto that I cannot repay. If sitting here and guarding Uzumaki Naruto, is the bare minimum I can do then I will," said Gaia.
"Actually, I need you to do something for me that requires me to allow you into some sensitive information," said Tsuande.
Gaia raised an eyebrow at this, but she nodded nevertheless and followed the elder woman out.
