Well here is a new chapter. I think people might be surprised by what they read right now, but I think it's a good way of incorporating it for the Daihasei Festival Arc. I'm glad that I've been able to update frequently because trust me, it takes time writing all of this even if it does seem short to you guys, but I am writing this for you guys to enjoy so that keeps me motivated.

ptl: I actually do agree with this. Persona users are classified as being talented as they are able to inherit the power, whereas Magicians are 'not' talented. The question is, will Aleister find about Ren?

Blankow: Persona 5 is definitely my favorite game of all time, so I am glad you're playing it. Ren's debonair charm might actually give Touma a run for his money. Aleister might not even know about Ren, maybe he does, we shall see. Thanks for the kind words, I definitely am fine and am far from overworking myself.

Phantom Thief of Hearts: This is a slightly longer chapter, one I hope gets people excited for the next. Kuroko might struggle with a 'civilian' becoming a vigilante later though. I do like the Batman joke though.

Trald1994: You will have to read to find out :)

craytherlay: Touma will be here soon. I also show that to show just how immense Ren's charm is.

BushidoWookie: I will do my best.

Tora Lych: I feel like all Persona protagonists have a fear of being alone.

Guest: How will Misaka react to this though?

Disclaimer: I do not own Persona 5 Royal or Toaru Majutsu no Index.

The lightning from the middle school girl came into contact with the black-haired boy. In a normal scenario, any ordinary Level 0 would have been in a coma for days, maybe even weeks after the millions of volts coursing through their body. The unassuming boy with glasses, much to Mikoto's astonishment, was completely unharmed. He didn't even flinch, he didn't blink, and he didn't even raise a hand to block it.

"A bit rude that you didn't even let me speak," the black-haired boy said. "But either way, that attack won't work on me."

The boy proceeded to raise both of his arms as if he wanted to surrender to authorities. He switched his stance to a less menacing one and allowed his body to loosen up.

Misaka had a look on her face. Shock for just half a second. As if she was experiencing déjà vu.

"Why are you surrendering then?" the Electromaster asked.

"I'm not," Ren replied. "I just don't want you to attack me while I'm explaining myself."

"Oh, and what do you have to explain?"

"I'm not with these criminals. I was helping the victims upstairs and was coming down here to seek your help fighting these criminals." The boy with glasses explained while glancing at the unconscious men. "But it seems like I wasn't needed."

Ren had to downplay the entire situation and get this Misaka girl on his side. She had learned that her attacks were ineffective against him and she might pry into that considering her Level 5 power capability.

"I have people who can vouch for me upstairs if you need any more evidence. Also, I have an acquaintance here that's a part of Judgment. I'd really appreciate it if you could help her too."

Ren had to appeal to friendships as cliché as that sounded. If he could make himself seem like an ordinary person even after what she had seen, it might convince her to calm down and not ask questions.

The girl slowly looked like she was beginning to believe the Trickster. He was giving her good details about people and about the person in Judgment. Ren could tell that the Electromaster was still suspicious of him, so he wasn't surprised when she continued asking questions.

"Who's your acquaintance?"

"Uiharu Kazari." the boy responded.

After hearing that the girl began to relax her shoulders. It seemed that she was probably acquainted with Uiharu. The Electromaster hand now 'deactivated' the lightning she was generating.

"Fine, I believe you," said the tea haired girl while sighing. "But after this is over though, I would like to have a word with you."

Shit.

Ren knew what the girl was insinuating with that. She was going to ask how he was able to deflect her lightning. Because technically what he was capable of should be scarce at best. At least to Ren's knowledge. Ren was also against brainwashing her or erasing her memory. Even if she was a level 5 Esper she was still a middle school girl. He would feel guilty doing something like that to her.

"Very well," Ren replied politely. "I'm glad you came to take down these people."

"They weren't even a challenge," Misaka said, looking at the aftermath. "Although I don't know what they were thinking trying to provoke me."

If only she knew about the AIM Jammers. Ren didn't even want to imagine what would have happened to her if he hadn't destroyed it. It's for the best that she doesn't find out about it or that he was also the one who destroyed it.

Miska turned away from the boy and proceeded to the group on the current floor. Ren returned upstairs to go tell the people that they were now safe.

"Everyone!" the Trickster announced. "The criminals have been taken down. We're all safe now, it's ok to come out."

Ren looked to Himegami as she was walking around the group giving them encouragement and not letting fear get to them. He gave her a smile and Ren wasn't sure if she returned one.

"Did you actually take out the criminals?" a random boy said. "I tried using telepathy to call for help but it didn't work until a couple of minutes ago, so how did you do it?"

A telepath. From what he said and how he said it, Ren inferred that the boy could only communicate with others and not read minds. That was a relief considering Ren's mind couldn't be read due to his Persona negating any form of interference which could raise more questions.

"I didn't fight anyone or anyone like that," Ren replied. "I scouted to make sure no one would come up here and luckily Anti-Skill got here on time."

Technically Ren wasn't lying. He had humiliated a couple of grown men and saw that Anti-Skill officers were beginning to enter the building. The fact that he could come up with something like that instantly was truly a frightening skill the Greatest Thief had.

"You were gone for so long though," the teen telepath pointed out. "We were beginning to worry that you were a goner."

Ren did know that the amount of time he was gone was suspicious, but it was still nowhere near long enough to fight everyone without an ability.

"Well everyone is safe now so that's all that matters," Ren replied. "Lets just head home, it has been a long day."

The people looked to Ren as if he was some sort of leader. He remained positive and looked extremely charismatic. He also looked incredibly concerned about everyone and he didn't even know who they were. They were inspired by him, but also didn't want to ask him any more questions to burden him.

"You really are something, are you?" Himegami said.

"Himegami, thank you for keeping these people calm," Ren replied smiling.

"So, what did you actually do?"

"What I said and nothing more. I'm not some superhero that would be able to save everyone. I will do whatever I can to protect people though."

Ren believed those words. He was technically a criminal because that's what vigilantism is branded as. This didn't deter Ren though. He was given a special power that could even face the gods. He intended to use it to save people, that's just the type of person he was.

Himegami seemed to look surprised, but Ren thought it was really hard to tell by her stoic face.

After leading the group downstairs, Ren said goodbye to Himegami as she began to leave the mall. He noticed that some people were already being attended to by Anti-Skill and that others were leaving the mall. He also saw Misaka waiting near the door. When she noticed him, she began walking towards him.

"There you are. Come with me, I want to speak to you in private."

In all honesty, Ren wasn't nervous at all. He had spoken to people who threatened to kill him and completely ruin his life. Misaka didn't have enough power or information to do that so he was calm and collected.

"Lead the way Miss Misaka," Ren replied.

Ren followed the Electromaster out of the mall and began to walk to a nearby family restaurant. The area didn't really look private, but maybe she just wanted to get away from the people at the mall. They entered but Ren was beginning to grow tired of visiting restaurants. It was literally only his second day in Academy City, so much had already happened, but the thing he was growing tired of was going to a restaurant again. Mikoto sat down at a table and Ren followed suit. He did notice an unusual amount of stares, probably from the infamy that came with being a Level 5. This probably meant people would probably listen in. He took off his glasses and gave them a sharp glare. This caused people to turn around and others to leave the restaurant in general.

Misaka noticed this and was actually a bit surprised herself, but shrugged it off.

"I guess I should introduce myself," Misaka said. "You already know my name, but it's still impolite to not introduce myself. My name is Mikoto Misaka."

Ren was somewhat surprised by her introduction. He assumed she was a hothead and wouldn't even bother with something like an introduction, but it looked like she could be sociable.

"My name is Ren Amamiya, it's a pleasure to meet you."

"Thanks. The reason I wanted to talk to you was because of how you withstood my electricity. You're the second person I've met that's been able to do that."

"So I'm not special?" Ren said feigning sadness.

"Very funny. I wanted to know what ability you had that let you do that."

"Sorry to disappoint you, but I'm a plain old Level 0. I don't have an ability."

"What?! Do you have the same power as that idiot?" Misaka murmured.

"That idiot?"

"Forget about that! An ordinary Level 0 would never be able to do that, so you must have some sort of power."

Ren knew he couldn't give a half-assed answer. This girl was shocked that he was the second person that was capable of negating her attack. There was no way of knowing the other person's ability. If Ren told her about Persona power would she keep it a secret? Would telling the truth be the only way to get out of this situation?

"If you do have a special ability, I won't tell anyone," Misaka said. "I'd only like to know so I could fight you. Not because of that idiot."

Fight him? They had just met and she already wanted to fight him? Did mister 'that idiot' have to fight her too?

"Why would you want to fight a lowly Level 0?" Ren questioned.

"I know you have at least some sort of power," Misaka replied. "Which is why I don't have to be scared to go all out against you."

Misaka's drive reminded him of the fierce Panther back on his earth. Ann Takamaki was a force to be reckoned with and Misaka seemed just as fierce as her. Both had a cute and nice girl appearance. But when determined, nothing would stop them from achieving that goal.

"How about I make a deal with you?" Ren asked.

"A deal?" Misaka replied.

"You said you want to fight me right? Well, I'm game. If you beat me, I'll tell you what's special about me. If I win, you have to give me your contact information and have to stop asking me about this 'power' I have."

Under normal circumstances, the rest of the Phantom Thieves would begin to assume Ren was into younger girls. These were not normal circumstances. The girl of thirteen to fourteen years old was capable of killing someone if she pleased with the power she had. If Ren could get her on his side it would make life a lot easier.

"So you do have an ability!" Misaka said amused.

"I never said that," the Trickster said, grinning.

Ren was putting a lot on the line with his statement. He knew he would be able to defeat her, it didn't matter what she threw at him. The risky part was all the information he was giving her. If worse came to worse, he would have to erase her memories, but he still felt wrong about doing that.

"Well then, I don't know exactly what you're capable of, but the fact that you're so similar to that guy makes me want to beat you too!" Misaka said excitedly.

Wanting to escape the situation, for now, Ren decided to leave the fight for another day.

"Well then," Ren said. "It's getting late so I'll be on my way now."

"Oh no, you don't!" Misaka said, grabbing the boy's shoulder. "We're gonna fight right now!"

'Eh? Are you shitting me?' Ren thought.

"Now? It's been such a long day for me and I'm really not in fighting shape." the black-haired boy said feigning weakness.

Ren was expecting this though. Misaka didn't seem like the type of girl to go telling anyone what he was capable of. He didn't know of anyone who could beat a Level 5 and she said that he was the second person who could do that. Maybe he could put a little bit of faith in her.

"Too bad!" Misaka said. "I can't stand the fact that you might have the same power as that guy, because if you do then I'd have to beat you too!"

Mentioning that person again? Ren did grow curious about who the other person capable of negating attacks was. It might also prove to be a useful ally if anything.

"Well then, it's your funeral," Ren said playfully.

"You better be something really special if you're that cocky," Misaka replied.

Going off to an abandoned field, the girl looked really determined to fight Ren. Other than electricity and what it could manipulate, Ren didn't see her having an actual chance against her. He could also make her feel bad by changing to a Persona with a weakness to electricity, but that would make him feel extreme pain and Ren really didn't want to go through that.

"What are the rules of this duel exactly?" Ren asked.

"The first one to concede or stop fighting is the loser," Misaka replied. "If either one of us sees that the other person can't continue then the fight is over."

'Ok Alilat, do your thing' Ren thought to himself.

"Ready!" Miska shouted.

"Set!" said Ren.

"Go!" both said in unison.

Ren saw Misaka ready a lightning shot and he decided to close the distance. They had started about twenty feet from each other as a way to prevent a cheap shot. She pointed her hand at him and fired. The lighting struck Ren but was instantly negated from Alilat's innate Null Electricity. He let out a chuckle and kept running. Misaka saw this and had switched to a more defensive stance.

"Just as I thought," Misaka said while grinning. "Electricity won't work on you, but how about this!"

Ren noticed a black sand-like barrier began to form around Misaka. When looking carefully he noticed that she was using magnetism to pull iron sand from the ground and used that as a defensive property. It was incredibly useful and creative.

Ren stopped about six feet from Misaka and stood his ground.

"I see, so you're using iron sand," Ren pointed out. "Sorry to say, but that also won't work on me."

Misaka had gathered a ball of iron sand and shot it at Ren. To her surprise, instead of hitting him head-on, Ren had managed to dodge and completely avoid the shot. His speed was something that she didn't count on, it looked like he was used to fighting and his confidence backed up her assumption.

"You're gonna have to be faster than that," Ren said with a smirk.

Misaka had backed up quite a bit. Fighting at a distance wouldn't be possible against Ren, but she needed a bit of time to develop a strategy against him.

Ren, however, had already come up with multiple ways of taking her down. A lot of them were thrown out due to him exposing his Persona power, but it was still fun to think about.

"Alrighty, Miss Misaka!" Ren announced. "Time to end this!"

"I don't think so!" Misaka retorted.

Misaka had been gathering an immense amount of iron sand using it to make two makeshift swords and makeshift armor. Her appearance was definitely threatening, but Ren would be able to bypass it regardless. It didn't matter how fast or hard the girl swung, Alilat could cancel any physical and electrical attacks, even if they were combined.

"You may be able to negate my electricity outright, but how about a vibrating sword!" Misaka shouted.

Both the Level 5 and 'Level 0' rushed at each other. Ren extended his hand to the girl's arm, both iron sand swords came into contact with his chest.

The swords bounced off the boy and his hand had gone through the girl's armor. He pushed her shoulder with enough power to bring her off balance and proceeded to sweep the girl's legs and caught her bridal style while she fell to the ground.

"I win," Ren states with a smile.

The girl had a blank expression for a solid second.

"LET GO OF ME!" She said as she began to struggle and released her lightning.

Misaka released a tremendous amount of electricity that Ren thought would actually hit the main area of the district next to them.

Ren, although unaffected, couldn't necessarily stop her power from being used so he gently put her down until she was able to calm down.

"Are you alright?" Ren asked.

"What kind of stupid question is that!?" Misaka shouted. "Of course I'm alright!"

Misaka was blushing furiously as Ren had carried her as a princess. He clearly wasn't similar to a certain someone who had no idea what his actions made other girls feel. This boy knew exactly what he was doing that it was incredibly effective. Misaka composed herself and began to speak again.

"Your power is different from that other guy's, but I really don't know how to describe it."

"Anyway, your contact information?" Ren asked slyly.

"I didn't lose! You just threw me off!" Stated the lady from Tokiwadai.

"Fine then, we'll call it a draw. I'll give you some insight on my so-called 'ability', and in return, I get your contact info."

"Fine then, but I'd like an explanation first. How did my iron sand and electricity not hurt you at all? When you tried dodging it I actually got my hopes up that it would work on you."

Ren was beginning to feel more comfortable around Misaka. He felt like he could trust her just enough to tell her about Personas. He had only really just met her, but letting someone know of his situation would really take some weight off of his shoulders. For now, he would explain his Persona power but would leave Persona summoning a discussion for later.

Ren switched his Persona to Odin and felt the different power surging throughout his body.

"Before I answer that," the Trickster said. "What do you think my power is?"

Mikoto pondered for a bit trying to come up with a reasonable answer.

"It's some sort of negation right? If you were lying about your level that would require an insane amount of calculations."

"Would you believe me if I said I wasn't an Esper?"

"I wouldn't," Misaka replied with a serious look.

"Well I'm not," Ren continued. "My power isn't from the Power Curriculum Program, but I wouldn't call it, something like magic either."

"Are you sure I didn't hit you in the head or anything?"

"Ok then, let me show you something a bit strange. What do you know about Dual or Multi-Skill Espers?"

"They are only theoretical. Espers can only inherit one ability. It could be achieved through other methods though."

Misaka looked upset at that last statement. She probably must've gone through some hardships related to multi-skill.

"Then what I'm about to do is technically impossible right?" Ren said.

Ren extended his hand and allowed Odin's power to flow through him. He then pointed his hand towards the ground and focused a bit of his power on a small Zio.

"Electricity? Did you use that to disrupt my calculations?"

"Nope, and I'm not done showcasing."

Ren then switched to Seigfried and let his power resonate with him. He again stretched out his hand to the ground and focused on casting a demonstrative Agi.

Ren continued showing Misaka, the variety of elemental skills he could use. He showed her a Garu and Bufu spell as well with Vishnu and Satan respectively. He also thought it best if he refrained from using psychokinetic, nuclear, bless, and curse attacks as those really seemed extreme.

"See? I'm not an Esper because I wouldn't be able to use multiple abilities."

Mikoto looked shocked, but it did look like she was beginning to understand.

"I guess it kind of makes sense," Misaka said. "If you're capable of using multiple abilities, and you aren't an Esper, then it would also be true that you don't generate an AIM field and that would classify you as a Level 0."

Ren was impressed. He knew that high-level Espers had to be prodigal geniuses, but he also kind of expected them to be unsociable dorks. He was glad he was wrong.

"But if you aren't an Esper, then what are you?" Misaka asked.

"That's something that's not a part of our deal," Ren said chuckling. "Am I still going to get your contact information?"

Ren showed only a sliver of what he was capable of, but still decided against Persona summoning. It wouldn't make any sense in a real-world application, but with time he would tell her. Something in his spirit said that Misaka could become one of his closest allies.

"Fine," Misaka said with a pout.

"I also trust you won't tell anyone about me?" Ren asked.

"Don't worry, your secret is safe with me," Misaka said, giving a heartfelt smile.

Even though Ren had only known Misaka for a couple of hours, he felt a bond develop between them. He was excited to see where their relationship would go.

Walking back to his apartment, Ren felt somewhat tired. Thinking of everything that had occurred today was baffling and felt like something out of a movie. He had been through worse in the Metaverse but never anything of the sort in real life. It was nearing eight o'clock in the evening and Ren felt somewhat hungry after his fight with Misaka. He didn't really 'fight' her, but the revelation he gave her drained him. He was heading towards a convenience store near his dorm to just pick up a small meal.

"I actually might have enough money to each get a meal for Index and myself!" he heard a boy cry out loud.

Turning the corner, Ren noticed it was the Kamijou boy from his class. Ren was about to say hello to him when the boy suddenly tripped and dropped three one-hundred yen coins. The coins began to roll and fell down the drain. Ren felt secondhand pain from what he witnessed.

"No!" Kamijou screamed. "Damn my rotten luck!"

From what he said Ren guessed that things like this happened quite frequently to the spiky-haired boy.

"Don't worry," Ren said, extending his hand to the boy on the floor. "I'll cover the meal you need for you and your friend."

The spiky-haired boy looked up at the unkempt haired boy.

"You don't have to do that!" Kamijou said, taking the boy's hand to get up.

Ren had offered his left hand to the boy after seeing that the boy's right hand had something concentrated in it. It was definitely something that actually made Ren weary and decided not to take any chances with it.

"You're the new student, umm, Amamiya was it?" Kamijou asked.

"Please, call me Ren."

"Ok, call me Touma then." said the spiky-haired boy with a sheepish smile.

"Don't worry about the cost though, I'll spare you some money. Just go find whatever you'd like."

Touma looked like he was on the verge of tears. Ren thought that the boy was over exaggerating, but felt that the boy was being completely honest.

"You have no idea how much I appreciate this!"

Ren walked into the convenience store with Touma as the boy looked around for something that caught his eye. Ren did note that Touma was still looking at the lower-priced items and felt bad for the boy.

"Don't worry about the price," Ren said. "You and your friend have to eat so get whatever you want, price doesn't matter."

"I just don't want you spending a lot of money on this," Touma replied.

"It's fine."

Touma looked again and was now eyeing a bit more pricey food items. He was still hesitating on grabbing it though, so he went back to the cheaper aisle. He did grab quite a bit of rice balls and sandwiches, more than two people could eat, but it didn't bother Ren.

Looting all of the Palaces back on his world and selling the treasures effectively made Ren a rich teenager. He didn't mind spending money on a misfortunate boy who was now low on funds.

Ren had also picked out a couple of sandwiches and chips for himself. After paying for everything Ren and Touma walked out of the store and began to head back to their dorm.

"By the way," Ren said. "I think we live in the same complex so I guess we'll be seeing each other quite a bit."

"Maybe so," Touma replied. "I'm really grateful that you did this for me though."

"No problem."

As they walked Ren made sure to keep an eye out on the path to make sure the spiky-haired boy wouldn't fall. He had a feeling that something bad would happen to him at any minute.

"Are you ready for the Daihasei Festival?" asked Ren.

"It starts tomorrow so I guess I'm as ready as I can be," replied Touma.

"Be honest. Do you think our class really stands a chance at winning?"

"Maybe if everyone put their heart and soul into it, it doesn't hurt to try."

The boys were about halfway from the store to their dorm. Ren began to feel that they were being followed. Ren didn't want to leave anything to chance, so he switched to Alilat in order to protect Touma and himself.

Ren slightly picked up his pace which made Touma speed up as well. They continued to walk for a few more seconds when suddenly three men came out from an alley in front of them.

"Look at what these two kids brought us," a boy slightly older than Ren said. "Our dinner."

From behind them, four more people showed up and were beginning to surround both of the boys. All boys looked like they were stuck up, but their outfits showed that they really didn't live a lavish life.

"With my luck, this was to be expected..." Touma whispered while looking defeated.

Ren was running scenarios in his head that would lead him and Touma to walk away safely. He could easily just give them the food, but Ren didn't want these people to take away his goodwill towards his classmate.

"I'd walk away if I were you guys," Ren said. "My friend and I here would easily beat all seven of you."

Ren had to bluff in order for them to put their guard down. Reverse psychology at its finest.

"Really?" the same boy from earlier said. "What's your guys' ability then?"

"Oh don't be mistaken," Touma said. "Even if we look like this, we can still defeat everyone."

Good. Ren didn't expect this from Touma but he was actually following his lead. Touma didn't know it but he was buying more time for Ren to think of a way to take down seven people at once.

"Heh ha ha," the 'leader' laughed. "Ahahahaha!"

The 'leader' who was dressed in rags suddenly stopped laughing and raised his arm.

"You're just Level 0 trash!" the boy yelled.

Fire enveloped the boy's arm and Ren wanted to move in front of Touma. Touma reacted quicker than Ren and stuck out his right hand.

The firebolt that was coming hit Touma's hand, and it vanished.

"What the hell!?" the 'leader' said in shock.

Ren understood now. The feeling his third eye gave him of Touma's right hand was now shown. He could negate an ability but only looked like it was limited to his right hand. He was also beginning to believe there was a chance he was also 'that idiot' Misaka was referring to.

Ren quickly stood up as the boy readied another fireball and rushed to him.

"No don't!" Touma cried.

Ren decided to mimic the spiky-haired boy and extended his right hand as well. The fireball had the same fate as the last.

"What the-" Touma cut himself off as he turned around and extended his right hand again.

This time it was an icicle. Ren saw how quickly Touma reacted and deduced that he was also used to fighting. He also found it weird that most Espers he had faced so far were elemental Espers, but that only made it easier for him.

The seven boys that surrounded them looked in horror. Ren knew at this point they had no real combat experience and that they solely relied on their power to get results.

"Touma!" Ren called out. "If you know how to throw a punch, do it! These cowards aren't anything without their ability!"

Touma heard this and charged for the closest boy in the back. He delivered a solid right hook and the boy was instantly knocked unconscious. Ren, on the other hand, blitzed the three that were in front of them and knocked them all out with ease. The other three boys that remained who were readying their attack all stopped when watching their 'friends' so easily be taken out. They just stared at the two boys in front of them.

Both Ren and Touma stood side by side, both with grins on their faces. Ren pushed up his glasses and Touma hit his left palm with his right fist. The three poor boys had no idea they were apparently up against some of the strongest people on the planet. As if knowing that, the other three boys began to flee.

Ren looked to Touma who went to go pick up the sandwiches that were thrown onto the ground. They were flattened, but were still wrapped and still looked good enough to eat.

"Thank goodness!" Touma cried. "I was scared that they were gonna be ruined."

"We were technically fighting for our lives and you were worried about the sandwiches?" Ren laughed.

"Hey! Food is essential to life."

"I guess so. But that right hand of yours though. It seemed to come in handy against those guys."

"Yours did too. Your power wouldn't by chance be called Imagine Breaker would it?"

Imagine Breaker? It sounded like a cool name, but Ren had never heard of it.

"No, it's not," Ren replied. "Considering we're both Level 0's with a strange ability I'd say we're unique."

Ren appealed to the generalization of their 'similar' power. He knew Touma was capable of fighting after this showing and that strange power really intrigued Ren.

"Why does your power only work around your right hand?" Ren asked.

"I wouldn't know," Touma replied. "I've had Imagine Breaker since I was born and it's only ever been on my right hand. Although, do you mean your right hand isn't the only place you can negate abilities?"

"My entire body is protected," Ren said, shaking his head. "Although I've only had my powers for a little over a year."

Touma looked a bit confused but continued to speak.

"Just out of curiosity, do you consider yourself to be an unlucky person?" he said with a slight chuckle.

"Nope. I actually consider myself to be quite a normal person. Good and bad luck here and there."

"Of course I'm the only one with solely rotten luck," Touma murmured with his head faced away.

"Well, let's head back."

The boys continued walking to their dorms and Touma decided to explain Imagine Breaker to Ren as he believed both boys had similar powers.

"I'm pretty sure Imagine Breaker is the reason I have bad luck, I was told by a friend that it negates the blessing of God," Touma stated.

"That's kind of hard to hear," Ren replied. "Now that I know your situation, I hope I can be some kind of help to you."

The Trickster smiled as did the Imagine Breaker.

Arriving at their respective rooms, Ren turned to Touma.

"I hope we can get along well Kamijou."

"I hope we do as well."

The Trickster entered his room and ate his sandwiches there alone.

Getting ready for bed, the Trickster took a mental note that the Daihasei Festival would start tomorrow.

He had quickly made friends, a lot of them being extremely powerful in their own right.

Closing his eyes, Ren had one last thought before he went to bed.

'That was quite a day.'

Feel free to leave a review, comments, suggestions, or any ideas you guys have. Don't hesitate to tell me off if you don't like something.

Ren revealed somewhat of his ability to Misaka. He also had his first real encounter with Touma. Where will the story go from here?

Once again, thank you to HelixPenn!
