It's been a while guys, sorry to keep you waiting. University started back up for me and of course, they decided to give me quizzes on the first week back just because they like to see me suffer. I'm going to be honest, writing this chapter was not easy. I struggled to find a groove which is why it took me so long to finish the chapter. I'm back now and have another fic planned with a group of writing friends that I think will be interesting. I'll mention it in my next chapter which I pray will come out sooner. This chapter marks the first of an original arc that might be incredibly short or could be very long.
Also, I'd like to leave a couple of questions for you guys to answer. What character or interaction would you like to see introduced? Would you guys be open with another Persona character or is Ren alone the way it should be?
Blankow: In hindsight, both have had an incredibly shitty life in their own universe at this point in time. Everything else you mention will be mentioned very very soon:
TheNotSoFantastique: I think Misaki is too in love with Touma and won't even think of another man for her. As to him remembering her, I will leave that up to you guys to see if that should be written in my story.
craytherlay: Not so much a pairing, but just an opening for Ren and Misaka to speak to each other.
thepowerfullkira: Ren is only getting infatuated girls. I will clarify that he does not have a harem, nor will he gain one.
Phantom Thief of Hearts: Trust me, FORMULA is just a group of idiots. Looking at this chapter, Kuroko might hate him more, but unknowingly.
AcceleratorStrongestLvl5: Thank you very much, I hope you continue to enjoy.
Renaxan: Thank you very much, I've tried to do as much research as I can to make sure the story is coherent. As to Ren ending up with Misaka? You'll find out soon enough.
Disclaimer: I do not own Persona 5 Royal or Toaru Majutsu no Index.
The frustration on the girl's face in front of Ren was beginning to show more and more as time went on. He had no idea why she was getting so upset and it was honestly so funny watching her second guess herself as it didn't really seem like something she would do.
"Your move," Ren said, grinning.
"I know!" Misaka shouted. "How the heck are you outsmarting me?"
Ren had grown very used to teasing Mikoto to the point that they felt like family. He was beginning to see her as a little sister and he was thinking that maybe she was beginning to look up to him as an older brother.
"You don't have as much experience as I do," Ren said. "I never did tell you how old I was, did I?"
"Considering you're in that idiot's class, you'd be around fifteen years old right?" Misaka said, looking down. "You do look a bit older than that though."
Ren trusted Mikoto enough to tell her the circumstance as to why he was here and they had really only known each other for about a week. It was strange how much they had bonded in such a short amount of time, but looking back on it, he and Ryuji practically became best friends in less than a week.
"If you manage to beat me here," Ren said, pausing slightly. "I'll tell you more about my abilities and some more things about me."
"Now you're just pissing me off with how cocky you are!" Mikoto yelled.
Mikoto had finally moved her white bishop from F1 to C4 trying to push her piece up and start an attack to beat Ren in their chess match. Ren was up three pieces, having both of her knights and one pawn. Ren had already castled his king and was now using his black queen to go on the offensive.
It wasn't like Mikoto to blunder two knights at the near beginning of the game, but something about Ren just made her nervous and not make her of the right mind. Was there something else that was bothering her?
"You've finally made your move," Ren said, grinning.
The pawns on B3 and D3 were protecting the bishop so Ren decided to develop the G and H sides. Misaka had yet to castle her king and it was the tenth turn, which meant that she would have a harder time defending it from an ongoing attack from Ren.
"Have you ever played chess?" Ren asked.
"Of course I have!" Misaka said. "Stop talking so much trash!"
Ren couldn't help but laugh at the faces that Misaka was making in her struggle to fix the blunder that was the start of the match. Considering both of their abilities with viewing and calculating situations quickly, it wouldn't be a surprise if both of them were considered Grandmasters at chess.
The fact that Ren was already competent at chess, and his Third Eye allowing him to perceive time much slower was pretty much the nail in the coffin for anyone he went against. Though, something was a bit strange. Using his Third Eye he could see his queen glow red and Mikoto's king was glowing white. It felt like a premonition but Ren didn't know what to make of it.
The black queen, the most lethal piece in chess, but if captured could turn the tide of the game no matter what stage.
The white king, the piece that can go in any direction it wants but is only limited to one space per move. If put in checkmate then there is nothing it can do.
Beep.
Misaka's phone had gone off and she looked at it quickly before putting up and standing up from her seat.
"I surrender," Misaka said, snapping Ren out of his focus.
"Really? That doesn't sound anything like you."
It was strange hearing those words come out of the Electromaster's mouth. She seemed really determined to find out everything about him nearly a week ago and now she was just giving up?
"Is something bothering you?" Ren asked.
"Not that it's bothering me, but that idiot sent me a text message from Venice saying how he can't wait to make me play the penalty game," Misaka replied. "Actually, that was a complete lie, I'm extremely bothered.
That's what was bothering her? It's true that after the first two days of the Daihasei, Ren and Touma were secretly working together in order for the white team to pull out a victory over the red team. This allowed Touma to beat Misaka in the bet that they made and now she had to do anything he said. Ren prayed that Touma was kind enough to not do anything illegal.
"Ha!" Ren laughed out loud. "The thought of a boy ordering you around is scaring you? Do you like him that much?"
Misaka had her mouth wide open and her face had become as red as a tomato. Ren could tell the girl was attracted to him because of his Third Eye and the empath abilities it gave him after Igor upgraded it. It was fun to watch the girl go from confident genius to a normal teenage girl.
"IT'S NOT LIKE THAT!" Misaka shouted attracting the attention of everyone near them. The girl had begun to charge up her electricity which wiped Ren's grin off of his face.
"Misaka, there are people here!" Ren shouted.
"Oh, they won't get hurt, because it's going straight towards you!" Misaka shouted.
Ren now realized why she could never be more than a little sister. Someone you tease all the time and when pushed over the edge would do anything in their power to make you pay. He did admit that maybe he went too far, but it was just so easy to target her.
The electricity coming off the fourteen-year-old girl was something that scared off the civilians next to them and was something that definitely made Ren worry for them. The shot came straight at him and Ren did little to move or block merely standing with a disappointing look.
"You should exercise caution," Ren said.
"Whatever, 'big brother'," Misaka said, gesturing sarcastic quotation marks with her fingers.
"You wound me," Ren said feigning sadness. "Do I really look that old, little sis?"
Misaka had turned around and started walking off. She wanted to look upset and make Ren feel bad, but his Third Eye told him that she was giving off a big smile. Ren couldn't help but be happy with his relationship with Misaka.
"I know I might sound like a broken record at this point," Misaka said with her back to Ren. "But I swear I won't lose next time."
"Challenge me anytime, anywhere," Ren said. "The result will always be the same."
Ren turned around and began to head off to wherever his legs took him. He had planned to be with Misaka for a significant part of the day but considering her worries she had left much earlier than he expected. Ren didn't know what to do with the newfound time and with Touma and Index in Venice, he didn't really have anyone to hang out with on a last-second warning.
The frizzy-haired boy began to explore and wondered what other things there were to do in the city. He would usually text or call one of his friends to go play darts or billiards but those places weren't really popular in Academy City. He could go to the arcade and pass the time and see if games were any different on this earth.
'Huh, reminds me of that time of playing with Akechi,' Ren thought.
The boy that he failed to save. It would forever haunt Ren and although he saw him again due to Maruki's world, both agreed that it had to be stopped. Akechi may not have been a friend or an ally, but he would forever be Ren's rival, that was certain.
"Watch out!" a young girl shouted.
The sensation of time stopping was something that Ren had already grown accustomed to. The processing and planning he could do were practically infinite and it allowed him to be smarter when coming up with ideas to help people.
His Third Eye showed that there were no eyes on him so he immediately threw down a Vanish Ball and donned his Phantom Thief outfit instantly while he ran towards the direction of the scream. A girl was being pulled down a small stream and it looked as if she didn't know how to swim. Ren immediately summoned Kohryu and commanded his Persona to grab her out of the water. The golden dragon flew towards the girl and wrapped himself around her and pulled her from the river.
Luckily, there weren't a lot of people around, so it was well within his ability to get her to safety and quickly leave as to not be seen.
That was until a familiar twin-tailed girl teleported on the site and saw Joker about to flee the scene.
"Halt!" Kuroko shouted. "I'm with Judgment and would like to question you in your involvement with the situation."
Ren sensed her coming, but there really wasn't anything he could do without making a scene and making himself seem like someone with extraordinary power. He decided to keep still and just talk his way out of it.
"This girl was drowning and I saved her," Joker responded. "That's all there is to it."
"So you think you're some type of hero?" Kuroko asked.
"I was just at the right place at the right time Miss," Ren said. "I think I'll be heading out now."
Ren sensed her about to teleport to his location so he set up a Goho-M and activated the moment she crossed dimensions. Despite being instantaneous, Ren knew he would be able to pull it off with ease.
As the girl teleported where the Trickster should have been, she was met with nothing.
"What the heck?" Kuroko said to herself.
Around five days later, Ren woke up like any other moment. He immediately set off to get groceries, since he hadn't been getting out much other than his daily excursions as Joker. Touma and Index were also back from Venice and didn't want to bother them as Touma looked excited and somewhat evil when asked what he was going to make Mikoto do for him.
After all this, however, Ren realized that he was running out of food and decided to go take a trip to the supermarket to restock his fridge. He was prepared to load his fridge for three people considering Touma and his almost always empty wallet. Index practically ate for a family of four, but Ren hoped that the meals he cooked would leave her more satisfied than actually full.
Leaving his dorm, Ren started on a light jog as he always did so he could stay in shape. The supermarket was about an eight-minute jog away, which Ren thought was a pretty nice distance and he hoped that he would be able to get good quality products to ensure the best cooking in the kitchen.
Ren was solely focused on jogging and getting to the market when suddenly he bumped into somebody.
"Sorry!" Ren said instantly.
Looking at the person he bumped into, Ren noticed his strange white hair and his red eyes. The boy was shorter than Ren and was very scrawny. Ren was kind of surprised that the boy didn't fall over after getting bumped into.
"What the hell!?" the white-haired boy yelled.
Ren noticed that the boy's hand had been near his neck and that there was some sort of device around it. Ren used his Third Eye and noticed that the device actually allowed the boy to use motor ability and practically let him be a normal human being. Brain damage was the reason the boy needed it and Ren was confused as to why he was that upset.
"How did you do that? Misaka asks as Misaka is failing miserably at hiding her surprise!" a little girl next to him said.
This little girl, no older than ten, had a striking resemblance to Mikoto and considering she just referred to herself as Misaka made Ren believe that this was Misaka's little sister. That didn't really make sense though, why was she with a complete stranger?
Ren immediately answered his own question when he remembered one of the files he took from the warehouse FORMULA was operating in. It had mentioned that Mikoto had clones made of her and that there were twenty thousand of them in total. There were fewer now that a majority of them had been killed. Could this little girl be one of Mikoto's clones?
"How did I do what?" Ren said, confused.
"You managed to touch him when he has his electrode on!" the mini Misaka exclaimed. "Only the hero can do that!"
The hero? Something told Ren that somehow Touma was involved with this situation, but he couldn't be certain of that just because of someone who had supposedly saved both of them.
"It's that surprising that I touched him?" Ren asked. "I only bumped into him on accident."
The white-haired boy was clenching his teeth trying not to yell or lash out. This clearly pissed him off but Ren still couldn't figure out why he was so upset.
"How the hell!?" the white-haired boy said, raising his hand.
"Wait! Misaka Misaka says as she tries her best to stop you!" the mini Misaka said.
The albino boy looked at the girl and ultimately calmed down. She seemed to be his compass, his rock, someone he could look at to remind himself that he was still a human. Ren could sense the malice of the boy, but it didn't truly feel like evil intent which made Ren believe the boy had been through some sort of trauma.
"I apologize for the inconvenience," Ren said.
Just then the little girl's stomach began to growl and her face lit up in the same way Mikoto's did when she got embarrassed.
Ren looked to the girl while the albino boy rolled his eyes at the sight of the girl.
"I was planning to get groceries and make something really good to eat," Ren said. "You're welcome to come if you'd like."
"No thanks," the white-haired boy said. "We don't have-"
"Really!? Misaka Misaka shouts as she doesn't even try to hide her enthusiasm!"
"Tch, damn brat!" the albino boy grumbled.
"Come on Misaka Misaka says as she uses her cuteness to appeal to you! It'll be fun and we get food!"
The white-haired boy looked like he didn't really want anything to do with Ren, but the little girl's words just seemed to override any decisions the boy made. It seemed like he wanted to do whatever she wanted, but would never actually admit to it.
"Tch," the white-haired boy said. "Do you at least have any coffee?"
Ren gave a small chuckle to the boy.
"Only the best."
After exchanging names with themselves the groceries from the supermarket, Ren and the newly introduced Accelerator and Last Order found themselves walking to the frizzy-haired boy's dorm. Last Order had taken such a huge liking to Ren as she mentioned he looked like 'a super cool, superhero, older brother,' which made Accelerator grit his teeth when she said that.
Entering Ren's dorm, Last Order instantly ran towards the kitchen and opened the fridge.
"Brat!" Accelerator shouted. "Don't be so damn annoying."
"It's ok," Ren said. "I hope curry is fine for you guys."
"That sounds great says Misaka Misaka with great excitement!"
"If you serve me shitty coffee I will seriously consider killing you," Accelerator said.
"And if it's the greatest coffee you've ever had?" Ren asked, a grin growing on his face.
"Then I won't kill you," Accelerator said with a scoff.
Ren gave a small laugh at that remark as he was beginning to understand Accelerator a bit more and he began to get started on cooking and making coffee.
"Feel free to turn on the TV and make yourselves at home," Ren said.
Ren put on his apron and began to cut away at the ingredients needed to make the curry. Last Order seemed really excited to try his food, but maybe she was just excited to be with another person that wasn't Accelerator. Ren hoped it was the former for the sake of the girl, but he couldn't really read her. His Third Eye showed Ren that Last Order definitely wasn't human, but she was damn near close to one.
As the curry began to cool, Ren went to work on the coffee. He learned from Sojiro the best way to make it and as a result, he found that anything that didn't come from Sojiro or his own hands was practically like drinking liquid dirt.
Ren then served the plates for both the guests and himself while pouring a cup of coffee for himself and Accelerator. Accelerator went straight for the cup of coffee and blew on it before taking a sip. Ren stared at him waiting for the inevitable positive reaction. Accelerator's eyes widened and he looked straight at Ren and opened his mouth.
"Damn! If this is how you make coffee all the time then it looks like I'll be keeping you around!" He shouted.
Both guests at Ren's dorm went to dig in on their curry and were shocked at the depth of flavor. Any curry they've had before was practically dog crap compared to what they were eating now and honestly, it made Ren really happy at how much they were enjoying it.
"Do you guys like it? I hope it's good." Ren said.
"It's the best curry ever Misaka Misaka says as she tells the wholehearted truth!"
"I do have to admit you are quite the cook, third-string," Accelerator said. "If it was anything less than this I really would have considered killing you."
"Good to know that you think my cooking is good," Ren said. "I bet you're glad Last Order decided to change your mind about coming here."
"Maybe so, but just remember that I'm only here just because of her."
"I get that, she's important to you isn't she?"
"Tch," Accelerator didn't respond to that.
Ren wanted to ask how Accelerator developed brain damage, but considering his mannerisms, he would probably attack him before he could finish the sentence. Ren decided he could ask another question that may not provoke Accelerator to do anything rash.
"That electrode on your neck," Ren started. "What would you do if somehow you were healed from your brain damage?"
Accelerator's eyes widened and he grit his teeth, but Last Order gave him a smile as if to tell him to answer the question. Accelerator was ultimately beginning to grow comfortable in the dorm and there was something about the coffee boy that felt like he was brainwashing him into actually considering him as an ally.
"I would prefer if I stayed like this actually," Accelerator suddenly said. "It happened to me for a reason and now I have to live with it."
To be honest, Ren was surprised at the answer. He thought that anyone would be willing to be healed from an injury they believed to be irreversible. Ren knew he had the power to fix even paralysis in a person, so brain damage would probably be fixed as long as he focused his healing. Although it would maybe be the right thing to do, Ren refrained from healing Accelerator due to his stance on his injury.
"I find that very respectable," Ren said. "I don't know what you've done, but it seems as if you're trying to be better. You kind of remind me of someone I used to know."
"Oh really? I bet they aren't even as half as bad as me," Accelerator said.
"They might be worse than you honestly," Ren said. "He did one last thing before dying though, I won't ever forget it."
Ren remembered Akechi and how he was willing to sacrifice his life to stop Maruki control the entire planet. Some part of Ren hoped that Akechi was still alive, that he would show up and laugh at him saying how it would take more than a shadow, god, or a world-altering counselor to kill him.
"You know what third-string?" Accelerator said. "You're not that bad."
Ren was no longer surprised at how quickly he formed relationships now. It would take one meal and one conversation to go from complete strangers to someone he could see himself talking to for years to come. The fact that someone such as Accelerator could come to at least see him as 'not that bad' was tremendous considering the white-haired boy's attitude.
Ren and Accelerator's conversation was cut after there was a sudden knocking on the door. Ren wasn't expecting anyone and thought that it was probably Touma who needed something. He got up from the table and began to walk towards the door. The person who was waiting there was not at all who he expected.
The chestnut-haired Electromaster was looking at the ground twiddling her fingers.
"Hello, Misaka," Ren said, holding the door open.
"After a lot of thinking, I've decided that we need to have a rematch!"
"Biri-Biri?" Touma said. "What are you doing here?"
Touma had walked out of his dorm when Misaka just finished her declaration of war towards Ren. Misaka looked completely shocked and had frozen up at the sight of Touma. Ren wanted so badly to tease her but decided that it was best if she and Touma developed their relationship on their own.
"What are you doing here!?" Misaka said.
"I live right here," Touma responded. "I think it's a better question for me to ask what you are doing here though."
"I came here to challenge him to a rematch," Misaka said.
"You really want to fight Ren?" Touma questioned. "He's a Level 0 like me and you want to fight both of us?"
Ren was sort of cringing at the conversation they were having so decided to invite both of them inside the house. That thought was cut short after Ren's Heightened Sensation completely spiked and alarmed him of the oncoming danger that was heading their way.
"Misaka!" Ren shouted. "Did you feel like you were being followed?"
Misaka looked dumbfounded at Ren's question and gave him a blank stare.
"No, not at all, why?"
"We have to go now!"
Ren ran inside and immediately went to grab the FORMULA files and went to grab Accelerator and Last Order.
"We have to go!" Ren told them. "There are a shit ton of people heading our way and they're here for you!"
Ren had heard multiple soldiers talking about capturing Mikoto and Accelerator with his enhanced hearing and estimated that they were outnumbered twenty to one. The scale of their small army angered Ren as he realized just how big of a threat FORMULA really was.
"What the hell are you talking about?!" Accelerator said.
"I don't have time to explain! We have to get out of here now!"
Heading outside the dorm, Touma, Misaka, Ren, Accelerator, and Last Order all looked at each other and shared confused looks.
Ren didn't know the connection between all of them, but he would surely lead them out of the situation that they found themselves in.
"All of you listen to me!" Ren said. "A bunch of people from a dark organization is here for Misaka and Accelerator. Considering all of our abilities I'm sure we can get out of this, but having Last Order around is too risky. We need to prioritize her safety above all else and head out to a hiding spot where we can collect ourselves and stop this."
"Those pieces of shit are here for me!?" Accelerator said, anger etching itself on his face. "I'll make sure to send them back to where they came from!"
"You may be strong, but we have to get her out of here!" Ren shouted, pointing to Last Order.
Accelerator looked like he wanted to say something but ultimately decided to stay quiet and focus on the task at hand.
"I really don't want them to see my face, but promise me you guys will keep your mouths shut about this," Ren said.
"Our mouth shut at what?" Misaka and Touma said at the same time.
Ren looked at them and blue flames flared around him and his phantom thief suit suddenly appeared on him. His knife was in his hand while his gun was holstered on his waist. Ren looked at them and gave them a sharp look as to get them to say if they were going to keep their mouth shut or not.
"You're that urban legend Saten has been going on about!" Misaka said. "The guy dressed in some sort of costume and mask who goes around beating up and healing people who have been bullied. Saten herself said that she was saved by him and has been dying to see him again ever since."
"I haven't heard anything like that," Touma deadpanned.
"It sucks that I can't tell her, but if you're trusting us to keep your secret then I'll take it to the grave," Misaka said, smiling.
"Same here!" Touma responded.
"Tch, you look stupid," Accelerator said.
Ren took that as Accelerator agreeing to his statement and gave all of them a smile.
Ren stuck his arm out towards Last Order and suddenly there were two spheres that lit up around her and disappeared. Tetrakarn and Makarakarn were two vital spells that Ren didn't get a lot of use out of, but in the case of protecting people, they were a Godsend.
"What the hell did you do to her?" Accelerator said.
"I put a reflective barrier around her," Ren said. "It will protect her from a couple of stray hits in case any hit her, but I'll do everything I can to make sure they aren't even used."
"Of course we're here to help too," Touma chimed in.
"Ok, let's go!" Ren said.
Everyone in the group began to head to the bottom floor of the complex and Ren was beginning to formulate the best plan to get all of them out of there while minimizing collateral damage. It had just occurred to him just how stupid FORMULA really was. They thought it was a good idea to go after the Number One and Three Level 5s? Maybe they were just incredibly desperate, but it didn't really excuse just how idiotic of a plan this was.
"Guys, considering our abilities I don't think it matters, but we are outnumbered twenty to one and I don't really want to stay and waste time fighting them."
"Then why don't we just run away?" Touma suggested.
"They would tear down the building just to find us," Ren said. "If they see us all and then we flee, everyone in the building will be safe."
"You're right," Misaka said. "If these people are really here for two Level 5's then they would have to bring the biggest artillery to try and stop us."
"All of you guys listen to me," Ren said. "The moment they see all of us you will all head towards an abandoned warehouse at the edge of District 18. I'll hold them off and meet up with you guys then."
"Do you really think we will let you fight alone?" Touma said.
Ren gave a look to everyone who had a worried face, minus Accelerator who just had an annoyed look on his face.
"You will," Ren replied. "All three of you are more than enough to protect each other and Last Order. I'm only going to buy time for you guys to get out of sight and into the warehouse."
Touma had a concerned look on his face, Ren knew that he didn't want to leave him alone.
"I'll be there soon, I promise. Just get to safety."
Any second now, multiple people would begin to charge at them and would try and capture Misaka and Accelerator while trying to kill anyone in the way.
"There they are!" a soldier said. "Don't let them get away!"
"GO!" Ren shouted.
The other four people in the group began to run off. They had formed a triangle with Last Order in the center to make sure nothing happened to her. Ren stood in front of them, a grin on his face. He would be sure to make all of them pay.
"You better get out of the way, clown!" the same soldier said.
"Why don't all of you try to stop me!" Joker shouted.
"Gun him down!"
The gunfire began to rain on Joker's location which would certainly kill anyone. Suddenly, the Trickster was in the air and had his hand covering his face.
"Arsene, ravage them!"
The initial Persona of Ren Amamiya. The one with him at the start and would be with him to the end. The demonic appearance of the Persona was sure to strike fear into anyone. With devilish accuracy, Ren willed forth a blast of Maeigon.
There were multiple cries among the soldiers and most of them were completely knocked out which was a great start.
Ren's hearing shot up again and in the distance, there was another group of soldiers who were on their way.
"Just try and catch us!" Joker said.
Joker had begun to run toward the direction of the warehouse and although his engagement was short, managed to wipe out a significant margin of FORMULA soldiers in one blow. The safety of everyone was of utmost importance, so while he could level the entire city with relative ease he would rather not do that and head back to heads to make sure they were ok.
'I have to make sure they're ok,' the Trickster thought.
After arriving at the warehouse, Ren saw the group sitting and they looked like they were itching to get out of there even though it had only been about five minutes.
"You made it back! Misaka Misaka says as she tries to hide her worry!"
Ren once again was engulfed in blue flames and he returned to his normal attire and pulled out the files that he had found earlier. He was angry at himself for not reading all of it as it may have had some sort of warning in it. Even after everything he'd done, he still had a lot to learn.
"What are those?" Accelerator said.
"They're files from FORMULA themselves," Ren replied.
"FORMULA?" Mikoto said. "Who are they?"
"They're psychopaths who really want to make a Level 6 Esper and I've stopped them on multiple occasions. I'm almost surprised they don't have a bounty on them or haven't all been murdered at this point."
Misaka, Touma, and Accelerator all looked incredibly pissed at that statement. Ren knew Misaka and Touma would be upset, but was surprised to find that Accelerator was also angry at it.
"Those sons of bitches!" Accelerator shouted. "Why can't anyone just give up on that shit!"
Accelerator had stood up from the seat he was on and began to walk towards the table the Ren had placed the files on.
"Look," Ren said. "I know we're all angry about this, but we need to stay focused and make sure to put an end to them once and for all. I've dealt with them for too long now and it's time to put the entire organization in the ground."
Ren said he would leave it to the authorities to take care of them, but it was getting personal now. He vowed to destroy all of them and make sure his friends were no longer put in harm's way.
Ren's Heightened Sensations spiked, power on another level than just normal thugs and something that truly was not from this world. He set up a large Makarakarn over everyone in order to ensure nothing would hit them. There were white-looking feathers that began to shoot at them and Ren managed to block and reflect all of them.
Someone had walked into the warehouse with maniacal laughter with each of the five members of the group looking up in the direction of the crazed laugh.
"Interesting," a dirty-blond boy with angel-like wings said.
