Ace: - Almost there. Suicune should be right above us, right?
Splat: - That's correct
Ace: - Woohoohooohooo! Runs off down a hallway, trying to find the stairs quickly
Clara: - Ace, wait up!
Ace: - Death stares at Clara
Clara: - Woah, calm down
Ace: - I am going to see that Suicune
Zoe: - We know, but you don't need to rush
Ace: - Try all you want, but you ain't gonna stop me
Kenny: - Who said we're trying to stop you from meeting Frostbite? We're all going there
Kai: - Do you even know where you're going?
Ace: - Dashes and stops in Kai's face Shut up! Dashes back down the hallway
Ben: - Wow, you got shown up, Kai
Kai: - You're not helping, Ben. I know that he's still mad when I was inside his body. Given everything that's happened to him up to this point, I'm surprised he hasn't snapped entirely
Ace: - From down the hall Keep it up and I just might!
Splat: - Let's just continue on with this floor. We're almost there
They continue to the stairs leading to the top floor
They reach the stairs
Splat: - Here we are. Frostbite is right up there
Ace: - Move Rushes up the stairs
Splat: - Ace, hold up! Runs after him
Rest follow after
Mt Magma: Floor 10
Ace: - Yo, Frostbite!
Frostbite: - Sees Ace, then uses Ice Beam at him
Splat: - Reaches the top Ace? Sees the Ice Beam about to hit Ace MOVE! Uses Tackle to move Ace out of the way, but gets hit himself
Ace: - Ow! What was that?
Splat: - Struggling to stay standing upright. Left arm is frozen in place at the elbow.
Zoe: - Climbs up to see Splat hurt Dad! Shoots a Moonblast at Frostbite
Frostbite: - Gets launched back
Splat: - Frostbite?
Clara and Kai: - See that Splat is hurt Dad! Change to Mews. Clara uses Energy Ball. Kai uses Electro Ball. Both throw their attacks at Frostbite
Splat: - Kids, don't attack him!
Zoe: - He attacked you first
Splat: - He attacked ACE first, not me. I just got hit because I shoved Ace out of the way, but didn't get out off the way in time
Clara: - Can you still mo- Gets slapped into a wall from Frostbite swiping her away
Ace: - Sees Clara not moving and severely injured Clara! Runs to Clara
Kai: - Clara! Starts crying a bit when he sees how injured she is
Devil Ace: - Appears on Ace's head, behind his right ear Why are you even trying to help this pokemon? You barely know her
Ace: - Grabs the devil off of his head I just saw her get thrown into a wall. Why wouldn't I help her? Throws the devil at Frostbite
Nick: - Was Ace talking to somemon just then?
Ben: - He finally cracked. He's talking to imaginary beings now
Ace: - Oh shut it, Ben! I still haven't forgotten what you did to me yesterday!
Ben: - I never said you did!
Ace: - Reaches Clara (Wait. What am I suppose to do? I'm not a healer. I don't have any healing moves) Instinctively puts his paws on Clara Please Clara, please be ok!
A green aura pulses from Ace's paws
Ace: - (huh? Is that heal pulse? But i thought boltund can't learn that move)
The injury that clara got slowly disappeared
After it was gone the green aura stopped
Clara open her eye
Clara: - Ace? Did you heal me? Thank you
Clara hugs Ace
Clara sees frostbite about to attack Ace with ice beam
Clara: - ACE! Watch out!
But it was too late and the ice beam hit's Ace's tail
Ace: - IIYYEEEEEEEE!
Splat, Clara, and Kai look at Ace
Clara: - I-I am sorry Ace. I should have seen that coming a bit sooner, but I didn't foresee it.
Ace: - What is that Suicune's problem? That's so cold. Angrily stares at Frostbite
Clara: - Ace, why are you looking at frostbite? Are you mad at him for hurting me?
Ace: - No? What gave you that idea?
Clara: - Ace, we just met a few minutes ago, and you're family to me. I can tell you care about the people close to you, and protect them if someone's hurting them. Also, I can tell you fight with your brother a lot.
Ace: - (How does she know all this? Please don't tell me Nathan told her. Nah, it could be her dad who told her)
Clara: - Ace, I can read your mind. That's how I can tell. Since I got these Mew powers I am still trying to understand them all.
Ace: - I see and yup you are right.
Clara: - Well Ace, I would ask you to stand back and let me, Kai, and dad handle this. I'm just saying this cause you are still new to fighting a legendary mon.
Ace just put a paw in front of Clara.
Clara: - Ace? Why are you stopping me?
Ace: - Doesn't say anything and goes into Rage mode and dash to Frostbite
Clara: - NO ACE!
Kai: - dad?
Splat: - Ya Kai?
Kai:- Should we go stop Ace?
Splat: - Not at the moment. Let's let him get some rage out before we stop him. But then again he is facing frostbite who is a legendary mon so we should stop him.
Just as they went to stop Ace, the rest of the team got to the top and saw what was going on
Kenny: - Sees the Suicune Is that Frostbite?! That's so cool. Wait, why is he fighting?
Ben: - Wait, is that Ace fighting him?
Nick: - It does look like him, but will Ace be ok? He is fighting a legendary
Ben: - Oh he will, Nick. Don't you worry. I saw him beat them in the game a bunch of times.
Kenny: - Ah, Ben? Did you already forget this is not a game? Who's to say Ace will win here? I mean sure, he has the advantage since he's an electric type, but then again, he's facing a legendary pokemon, a Suicune in this case, which is a water type, but still.
Max: - You have a point, Kenny, but I'm sure there must be a reason why Frostbite is acting this way. Like Splat said, he and Frostbite are good friends, and Clover knows him as well.
Rocky: - I hope you're right about that bro.
Max: - Kenny, I think you should put up a Light Screen so we don't get damaged by the fight.
Kenny: - Right
Kenny used Light Screen
Just then, Frostbite smacked Ace so hard that he got knocked out of Rage Mode, and landed near Kenny and the others and was knocked out
Ben: - ACE NO!
Nick: - Let's check if he's ok, now!
Both Nick and Ben went over to Ace and pulled him behind Kenny's Light Screen
Ace got up, weakly
Ace: - Ow, that hurt. Ben, Nick, and everyone else? When did you guys get up here?
Ben: - Just a while ago, when we saw you fight Frostbite in your Rage Mode.
Nick: - Ya, and you weren't hearing uncle Splat and the others asking you to stop
Max: - I think after this dungeon, you need to learn how to control that rage of yours.
Ace: - I guess so. Wait hold on just a sec.
Ace briefly sees something sticking out of Frostbite's back
Ace: - (What's that thing?) Shoots a Thunderbolt at the thing sticking out of Frostbite's back
The stalactite in Frostbite's back shatters and falls out
Splat: - Was standing in the trajectory of the debris. Ace, why would you just shoot at Frostbite out of the blu- Gets hit in the head by a piece of the stalactite
Ace: - With a sly smile staring at Splat Yeeaaaah, sorry, not sorry
Kai: - Tries his hardest not to laugh at the absurdity of his dad's situation
Splat: - In pain I guess I deserve that. Ow.
Frostbite: - Roars in pain, but then slowly stops as he feels the pain lessening. Falls over in Splat's direction
Splat: - Looks up WOAH! Jumps back before he gets crushed
Kai: - You ok, dad?
Splat: - Peers out from behind Frostbite's head, with a giant lump on his own head. Considering that I only got Skull Bashed by a stone the size of you, I feel great.
Kai: - Oh "ha ha", very funny
Splat: - You can thank your little stunt from 2 days ago for the inspiration
Kai: - Right. Sorry about that
Splat: - I'm not the one you should be saying that to. Points to Ace
Kai: - Looks at Ace. About to speak
Ace: - You really think it'll be that simple?
Kai: - Blinks in confusion
Ace: - You possessed my body against my will, and forced me into a race. You really think a simple "sorry" will cut it?
Kai: - But we're family. Says while using Baby-Doll Eyes
Zoe: - Sees that Kai is using Baby-Doll Eyes, chuckles a bit You still have that in your moveset?
Kai: - Gets ticked off Hey, it's still useful
Ace: - You're not helping your case
Kai: - most of the time.
Zoe: - More like "useless most of the time"
Kai: - Feels like he just got stabbed in the heart
Clara: - Wait what? You still use that? Isn't that a baby pokemon move?
Kai: - Feels another stab to the heart
Ace: - Well it does have "Baby" in the name of the move. How old is Kai again?
Kai: - Feels one more stab to the heart, then faints from the humiliation
Zoe: - Oh wow, Kai actually fainted
Ace: - Oh I'm sure he's fine
Kai: - Doesn't move
Zoe: - Uh, Kai? Walks up to Kai
Kai: - Has dizzy swirls in his eyes
Zoe: - Kai? Pokes Kai on the nose with one of her ribbons
Kai: - Doesn't respond
Zoe: - Are you gonna wake up?
Splat: - I know how to wake him up. Walks over to Kai
Zoe: - How do you know, dad?
Splat: - Brings out a claw, and licks it. Because I've done this before. When you were at the shopping plaza with your mother and Clara, and this guy was just snoozing on one of the guild hall tables when he tried to become an explorer after evolving.
Zoe: - What did you do?
Splat: - Just watch. Closes his eyes, smirks a bit, then sticks the claw he just licked in Kai's left ear
Kai: - YIPE!
Splat: - Hehe. Works every time
Kai: - DAD! You know I hate it when you do that!
Splat: - And now I'm almost over you taking over your cousin's body
Ace: - Well then, Uncle, it seems I was wrong to be mad at you. You really do know what you're doing.
Splat: - Why thank you. Comes with the responsibility of being a guild's best healer. Also comes with the responsibility of having to parent 3 teens who keep getting themselves into trouble.
Kai: - Slumps looking defeated Why does my family hate me so much?
Zoe: - That's what you get for not telling us you become a Mew, nevermind it being a negative Mew power.
Kai: - Hey, neither of us knew that Clara got a Mew power as well
Clara: - That's because I just got mine like 30 seconds before you found me in the dungeon
Sheela: - That's true. I had just finished sharing my Mew power with Clara when we heard you around coming towards us
Ace: - Oh, so Clara is a brand new Mew
Sheela: - In a way, yes
Kai: - Ok, you got me there
Ace: - Also Kai, just because your father here forgave you for taking over my body doesn't mean I'm gonna be as generous. You have a long way to go before I'd accept your apology
Kai: - I didn't think I was even close to getting you to accept it, but I'll try
Ace: - And how do you think that'll work?
Kai: - Walks up to Ace, and kneels to him. Would you allow me to join your team?
Ace: - Why do you think I'll just let that happen?
Ben: - Come on, Ace. Maybe he'll actually be helpful on your missions.
Nick: - He's trying to find some way to repay you for what he did to you, and if this is the best he can think of, I'd say let him join.
Kenny: - Yeah. I mean, don't you still have a 2 million poké bill you need to pay off? If we split into smaller parties like we have here, and he's one of the parties, he could help you reduce your bill.
Ace: - The bill is for the whole team, but I see your point. Alright. I'll let him join.
Kai: - Yes
Ace: - But, that doesn't mean I'm forgiving you for what you did. If you enter my body again without my consent, you are out
Kai: - I got it
Ace: - As for my forgiveness, I'll give it to you if you help with paying off our bill. If you can score enough mission reward money such that you've contributed to at least 20% of the cost by the time it's all paid off, consider my forgiveness earned. If you can't, then you'll just have to make up the difference afterward.
Kai: - So I need to do enough missions such that I've collected 400,000 poké, and I'm off the hook?
Splat: - 4 million, actually, since only 10% of each mission's reward goes to the bill
Ace: - Speaking of reward, how much was the reward for this mission?
Splat: - Pulls out the flier 100,000 poké
Zoe: - Uh, read that again, dad. I did not put 100,000 as the reward
Splat: - Rereads the flier. Sees a very tiny period between 2 of the zeroes. Wait, it's only 1000 poké?
Ace: - So, only 100 poké is going to the bill?
Splat: - Yes
Ace: - Then what was the point of us coming here?
Frostbite: - Grumbles, then weakly says What is all that noise?
Splat: - Frostbite?! Runs to Frostbite
Frostbite: - Splat? Is that you?
Splat: - Yes, I'm here.
Frostbite: - My back feels like it got punctured. Can you heal me like you did last time?
Splat: - No problem. Goes to Frostbite's wound, then applies some of his ointment on it
Frostbite: - Grunts from the pain Who else is here? I hear more than just you.
Splat: - Oh right. My daughters got lost in your dungeon, so I came here with my nephews and their friends to find them. And on the way here, I told my eldest nephew, Ace, about you and he wanted to meet you since you're his favorite pokémon species.
Ace: - Walks up to Frostbite such that Frostbite can see him Yup, it's such an honor to meet a legendary pokemon such as yourself.
Frostbite: - Thank you. I take it, you're Ace?
Ace: - Yes. Ace Rogers.
Frostbite: - Rogers? I think I know that last name
Ace: - Wait what?
Splat: - Oh yeah. One of the times I came back here to visit you, I told you about my sister and her boyfriend. Well, they got married, and this is one of their kids.
Frostbite: - Right, now I remember.
Ace: - I wanted to ask something, Frostbite.
Frostbite: - Ask away.
Ace: - Is it possible for you to walk on water?
Frostbite: - Yes, I can do that easily
Ace: - I see. So the games I played in the human world are showing the truth.
Frostbite: - Human world?
Ace: - Did Splat not tell you that my parents went to the human world because of a Mew?
Frostbite: - No, he did not.
Splat: - It wasn't important at the time, so I didn't mention that to him.
Ace: - Ah, well that's what happened, but another mew brought me back. He and I slowly found out more of my past as a pokemon.
Splat: - It was the same Mew that did that, but whatever
Frostbite: - I see. Do you have any more questions for me?
Ace: - Could you show me your Icy Wind attack on that rock over there? (Points to a rock nearby)
Frostbite: - Splat's ointment evaporates away. Walks to the rock, jumps in the air, and unleashed Icy Wind on the rock
Ace: - Was so shocked with excitement that it matched from the game, Pokken Tournament, that he fainted
Frostbite: - Concerned and confused Are you ok?
Ben: - Walks up to Ace He's just in La La Land after seeing that attack.
Kenny: - Walks up to them Yup, he fainted from the excitement
Frostbite: - Ok, at least it's not bad
Kai: - So Ace can't handle one attack from a legendary pokemon?
Kenny: - It's because Suicune is his favorite pokemon. He always controls one whenever we play games together in the human world
Frostbite: - Wait, you control pokemon in the human world?
Kenny: - It's a video game. We're not controlling actual, real-life pokemon.
Kai: - How am I suppose to believe that?
Ace: - Suddenly wakes up You wanna go, Spiky?
Kai: - "Spiky"?
Ace: - Jolteons are spiky dogs, are they not?
Zoe: - It's true, you are very spiky, Kai. Your fur is, at least.
Kai: - Aw, come on.
Clara: - You chose to evolve into a Jolteon, Kai
Kai: - I know, but if I knew I was going to get this amount of flack, I would've evolved into a cooler eeveelution. Maybe an Umbreon like dad is. Could go well with my Mew form.
Ace: - Speaking of Mew Stares sternly at Nathan
Nathan: - Is kinda scared about what could happen to him next, then flies off into a portal to the Human world
Ace: - NATHAN, GET BACK HERE!
Splat: - Ace, don't push it further. You already made your point that you have something to say to Nathan. Yelling and getting angry isn't going to help you talk to him.
Ace: - Fine, I'll wait
Ben: - Wait? Realized something How long do you have until your Football game?
Kenny: - If memory serves, it's tomorrow
Nick: - Yup, it's tomorrow
Ace: - Then we can't wait for Nathan. We need to find another way back to the human world.
Nathan: - Reappears Ace, I forgot you have an important game tomorrow in the human world.
Kenny: - We were just talking about that
Nathan: - Oh, well then, I'll take you back right now. It's currently night over there.
Ace: - Oh, so the pokemon world and the human world have different daytimes. That's good to know.
Nathan: - Actually the two worlds' daytimes are equal. You've been in this dungeon for 12 hours.
Splat: - Yeah. Excluding the stories I told you, Ben, and Kenny, we've been taking about an hour to clear each floor of this dungeon.
Ace: - We've been going that slow?
Splat: - Mhm
Ace: - Well, what are we waiting for? Let's go back to the human world
Ben: - We can go home now?
Kenny: - Will be nice to see our teammates again
Kai: - Can we come too?
Ace: - Why?
Splat: - Oh yeah, they can finally meet their aunt, uncle, and grandparents. They already know Jake's parents, but they never met mine.
Ace: - Alright, fine
Nick: - Wait for me
Nathan: - Everyone ready
Ace, Ben, Kenny, Nick, Splat, Kai, Zoe, Clara: - Yep
Rocky: - The rest of us will wait for you back the guild
Ben: - Ok
Ace's group walked through the portal back to the Human world.
Rocky's group used their badges to teleport back to the guild.
