Neb: Last Chapter Rogue lost control and used all the powers of the X Men and Brotherhood Mutants to destroy her friends. Despite how strong she was with her powers, she was stronger with her heart and chose to fight the voices in her head. Ricky, on the other hand, has demons of his own he must face. The fate that Seer told him he had and the fact that his hand is vibrating again. I do not own X Men Evolution.
The X Men all gathered around outside to play baseball. Ricky was watching on the sidelines with Tabatha and Magma while Bobby was batting and Jean was pitching. "I wonder if there are going to play regular baseball this time," he grinned.
"Hope not," Tabatha laughed. "That'd be boring." Just like that Bobby froze his baseball bat and hit the ball in the air. Beast was upset after that, wishing for once the kids would play the game fair. Ricky laughed as the ball flew to Multiple and he split himself and caught it.
When Bobby shouted Mutant ball everyone else joined in. Kurt was teleporting to catch any balls that would be a home run if they were normal, Kitty was running from base to base through the players, and Ricky would vibrate the ball through the enemy teams bats making them strikeout. "No fair," Bobby yelled.
"You called it," Ricky grinned. He felt his hand vibrating again and hid it behind his bat. Magma took Ricky's lesson to heart and through the baseball burning a hole into the enemies bat. Scott even joined in and tore up the field with his heat vision making it harder for people to run from base to base. That was before a shadow came over all of them and they looked up to find Angel flying above them. "I haven't seen him since New York."
"Angel," Scott spoke up. "What's going on?"
"I must see Professor Xavier immediately," he responded.

"Are you sure this is the man you saw," Professor Xavier asked.
"It's not a face you forget Professor," Angel responded. Vibrant tilted his head looking at a picture on the screen of a man with face tattoos.
"Not a person who walks around in public often by the looks of it," Ricky joked.
"You were right to come here Warren," Professor explained. "We've had dealings with Mesmero before."
"But why use someone else to break in," Angel wonder.
"Because that's what he does," Xavier replied. "He manipulates others, just as he did with Jean in order to steal those rings." Ricky looked at three rings on the screen.
"Sounds like I missed something big," Ricky spoke up.
"Be thankful you did," Cyclops responded.
"We've now been able to determine that the rings work together as some kind of key," Xavier explained.
"The other half of Warren's stollen spider stone is in a London museum. When putting together they complete the spider," Beast pointed out.
"And that spider might well do the same," Xavier concluded.
"A key to what," Angel asked.
"I don't know," Xavier responded. "But with Magneto now involved, I feel as though it's imperative that we secure the other half before he does."
"Absolutely," Bobby grinned and the group turned around wondering how long he's been there. "Let's gear up and take care of business X Men style."
"Sorry hotshot," Beast responded. "There is no room on the team for members who don't follow the rules."
"Yea," Jean grinned. "Like Icing a bat, during a no power softball game."
"Wait," Ricky responded. "Cyclops, am I on the team?"
"Yes," Scott replied confused.
"Awesome," Ricky grinned.
"But I was just goofing off," Bobby insisted. "I'd totally keep it in check for a full on the mission, really. Oh come on, just give me one chance. Come on Ricky help me out."
"Bobby does put somewhat restraint during missions," Ricky pointed out before walking out.
"See," Bobby grinned. "Let me go, Scott." Scott just grinned at him and walked out after Ricky."

The X Chopper made it's way to the Museum and landed. Ricky stretched before getting up.
"Should I inform Bobby we're here," Ricky asked.
"He stowed away," Scott responded. He opened up a cabinet revealing Bobby eating chips. Ricky tried hard not to laugh after that. "Have anything to say for yourself?"
"Oh yea," Bobby grunted. "That's the last time I fly no frills."
"Uh huh," Scott grumbled. "Come on, let's go." The group exited the X Chopper and headed towards the Museum.

"Fan out," Magneto spoke up as he entered the Museum with his four elite mutants. An alarm went off and Gambit went straight to the security guard's break room.
"Someone takes care of that alarm glitch," the security guard spoke up in his walky-talky. "I'm on break." He was playing solitaire and then found a glowing card float in front of him.
"Need an ace of clubs monsieur?" The security guard flew back as the card exploded and Gambit trapped him in a closet.
"Hey, let me out!" Gambit then looked at his game of solitaire and moved a five of hearts under a six of spades.
Colossus went after another guard and picked him up while Pyro trapped another in the storage room.
"Don't fret mate," Pyro laughed. "We'll be out in five."
The X Men approached the Museum next and Vibrant felt a man floating around inside the museum. "Magneto's in there," Vibrant spoke up.
"You stick with me," Beast responded to Bobby.
"Don't worry," Bobby replied. "I got your back.
"You don't have my back," Beast explained. "You don't have a clue."

Sabertooth was walking down the hallway before Jean tied him up inside a carpet. The rest of the X Men made their entrance. Sabertooth broke free and charged at them, but Vibrant held him in stasis and Cyclops blasted him back into Colossus.
"Hello," Gambit spoke up. "We've got X Men and I think they wanna play!" Gambit was throwing cards at Angel while Ricky went to put the others in stasis. His powers seemed to work on everyone, but colossus who threw a pillar at him. Vibrant jumped to the side releasing Sabertooth and Pyro, then he dodged and explosion from gambit. Cyclops destroyed the Pillar and Pyro went after Beast. Sabertooth was about to help Pyro but got blasted back by Iceman.
"Like I said," Iceman grinned. "Iceman's got your back."
"Beast," Jean yelled. "Tuck and Roll.
"Let her fly," Beast yelled as he balled up. Jean threw him at Sabertooth knocking him back. The area shook and everyone could hear a crash from upstairs followed by a crash outside. Magneto's lackeys ran towards the front door where they met up with Magneto.
"I don't care what it takes," Magneto spoke up. "Destroy that spider."
"What," Vibrant responded. He tried sensing the area around them and picked up on a floating object surrounded by an energy field close to Jessica's powers.
"Magnus, Stop," Professor X yelled. "We don't know anything about it."
"I know enough," Magneto responded. "That's one key that will not be unlocking any doors." He then flew off after the spider.
"We have to capture it and protect it," Professor X instructed the X Men. "That spider may have answers we need."
"We're on it Professor," Scott yelled. The group chased after the Brotherhood mutants. They made their way across town until they saw something glow green in the water.
"It's in the river," Angel yelled. Jean made the spider float up in the air, but it's leg's glowed and it psychically knocked her back. Scott ran over and caught her from falling and Ricky then tried to put the spider in stasis. The spider then glowed causing Ricky to start vibrating.
"Why did I try that," Ricky yelled. "Jean just tried this!" Scott tried blasting it with laser beams. "Don't damage it," Vibrant grunted.
"Just trying to slow it down," Cyclops responded.
"Iceman bridge us over," Beast ordered and Bobby made a bridge of Ice they went across. Angel went on ahead and then they saw an explosion.
"Gambit," Ricky grunted. When they got to the explosion they could see Magneto was doing something to the spider.
"Don't do it, Magnus," Professor X yelled. "Do not destroy it."
"I must," Magneto yelled. Ricky was about to put him in stasis, but then the wind started to blow hard causing everyone to shield their faces. Magneto retrieved the artifact from the green glowing spider.
"You've done the very thing Mesmero wanted," Professor spoke up.
"No," Magneto grunted. "The key has been destroyed."
"And he knew you were the only one who had the power to do it. That wasn't just a key, it was a guardian. Designed to prevent Apocalypse's release." Ricky fell back and grunted after hearing that. He remembered Seer's prophecy of him building a new Brotherhood after the fall of Apocalypse. "With its destruction, the second door will now open. He used you, Magnus." Magneto grunted and looked down. "From the beginning."
"It was heading south-east," Angel spoke up.
"Where was it going," Beast wondered.
"I don't know," Professor responded. "But it is in our best interest to find out, because when Mesmero finds the third and final key. The world as we know it will change forever."
