Chapter 10: The Revenge of the Nogitsune

"Come, let us go to the bar.." Said Mesprit, looking visibly upset.

Latias was taken aback by such a request from Mesprit. But the tone that Mesprit had employed had left her with very little choice in the matter.

"Mes are you okay?" She asked as she left the main camera room behind the embodiment of emotions, who had already left the room and was going straight to the lounge, growing more and more upset with each passing moment. Every time she thought about those smiles, those warm emotions, that adoration... It left such a bitter, profound burning sensation in her chest. She knew she needed to talk about it or she would explode. As such, the small fairy did not reply to Latias as they made their way toward the bar Lounge , where Primaria was casually handling chitchat with some interns. She was pretty, that bewitching selkie. Her bar Lounge had enjoyed quite a bit of success, with Patrons enjoying the laid back, dim atmosphere that reigned and that pre ordained for conversation.

As the two Pokemon kind of barged into the Lounge, Most of the patrons had left, leaving only a few interns, surprisingly and in an adjacent table, the fox and the Muay Thai frog. They fairly hidden with the bar's light being fairly low.

"Remind me why we are here again?" Asked Croagunk, not disliking the attention but still fairly certain that it was still odd for the Fox to invite him to the bar instead of her perceived boyfriend.

Alolan Ninetales purred. "Because I want to make use of my promise. Remember when I told you that I wouldn't mind hitting it If you behaved?" She said in a sultry manner, activating captivate by a mere blink of her eyes.

Croagunk blinked, his mind not fully understanding how she could go from being quite hot and pretty to look like an actual Goddess in mere seconds... it was as if everything that was hot about the fox was suddenly raised to impossible to fathom levels of perfection.
His throat felt dry, his heart rate rose to "busy" levels and he couldn't even focus on anything else, but the Fox and her voice.

"Shit...woman. What are you doing to me? " He muttered as the Ice/Fairy smiled devilishly.
She loved the fact that she held that much power. And she would push her advantage. She gently scooted over to him and without any hesitation, shame or restraint, kissed him deeply and sensually, intent on making him forget his own name and keeping him nice and bothered for her.

Croagunk's mind quickly registered that something was wrong. The fox was kissing with such passion that it could not have been the truth. Didn't she have a boyfriend? Wasn't he weary of her seductive wile? But as quickly as these question came, Alolan Ninetales's sheer kissing skills made those questions evaporate like dew. It was too good, too wrong, and far to addictive. Unable to fight his own lust, Croagunk gradually lost all will to fight a feeling he had been pocketing since he had first laid his eyes on her. As he started reciprocating the kiss, growing more passionate about it with each passing seconds, Alolan Ninetales interiorly cackled with glee. She had won. And it gave her even more confidence. She shamelessly pushed him into the cushioned seat of the lounge to kiss him some more, siting on his lap like a horny Kitsune, which wasn't really far from the truth in actuality, as their tongues met.
This kept on for a while, until The fox felt that Croagunk's defenses and inhibition were completely gone.

"You actually kiss quite well for a frog... I knew I wouldn't miss by letting you come onto the syndicate." She said as she licked her lips in appreciation.

Croagunk was panting, his mind in a haze and his body filled with raging lust.
"Girl...Wha..what was that.. I...i can't think straight..." he admitted, panting but unwilling to clear his head in actuality.

Alolan Ninetales smiled alluringly. "That's kind of the point, big boy..." She said as she nuzzled a sensible point of his neck, making him hiss.

"Now shut up. I want to hear what's going on. Be a good boy for me and I will show you pleasures that not even Wartortle have experienced..." she whispered in his ear.
This prospect shattered any remaining inhibitions the frog could have kept from his make out session with Ninetales.

"Sure...anything for the sexiest woman on the island." He said without really thinking.
Ninetales gratified him with appreciative lick on the side of his face.

"Damn right I am..."

As this was taking place, Mesprit and Latias had installed themselves at Primarina's counter, with Mesprit still feeling down and upset. The emotion Pokemon face was unlike Latias had never seen before. The normally dutiful Legendary had never looked this upset in all of the time she had been her friend, and it was starting to be quite a while since she was. It was a privilege, but it came with heavy responsibilities to be the crutch of a being this ancient.

"Good evening girls, it's been a while since you came to visit. I've been kind of lonely lately to be honest." Said Primarina with a large smile on her cute face.

Mesprit shot her a sour look at her pronouncing the word lonely. But receded. It wasn't her fault, and she shouldn't lash out at another friend in Primarina. So she just sighed.

Sympathetic, Latias put a comforting Paw on Mesprit's back and answered in her Stead.
"Indeed it has, Prima. You know, with the Games and everything things can be a bit hectic. We are holding on though...somewhat." she replied as she kept making soothing circles on Mesprit's back.

The selkie saw this, and understood that the issue might be much more deep rooted than it looked. She wasn't blind. She could tell at a glance that Mesprit wasn't having her greatest day. It was a bit startling as well, as she, just like Latias, had never seen Mesprit upset, ever. It wasn't that she couldn't be upset or sad, it would be an antithesis to what she represented. Indeed, Mesprit was the embodiment of all emotions, not just the positive ones. However, it had never happened, so they couldn't know how their friend would react.

However, they wouldn't and couldn't leave Mesprit in that state. Mesprit had requested her to come to the bar and had sat at the counter where Primarina worked. Those actions expresses clearly what she wanted. What she needed. It was a privilege for them to be the emotion being's confident. A great honor and a great responsibility.

Latias interiorly hardened her resolve and turned a sympathetic face toward the Psychic type. "Its now or never." She thought.

"So Mes, what is up?" She asked gently. They had all night and morning if needed, so she wouldn't shove Mesprit too hard. She wanted to make sure that Mesprit remained comfortable, as opening up to anyone beside her brothers might have been something that she never did before.

Mesprit lifted her gaze toward Latias and the Eon Pokemon almost chocked up. It was a look that was very foreign for the Mesprit she knew. Her eyes were full of bittersweet sadness and displayed a lack of fulfillment that was soul crushing.

Primarina however, being more experienced, knew that Look well.
She was about to interject when Mesprit, for the first time since they had made it into the Lounge, spoke in these terms.

"Girls, tell me. Did you ever see a couple's first born happen?" She asked with a soft, confidential voice.

Latias was surprised by the question. "Wait..what does that have to..." she started before Primarina gently deposited a flipper on Latias's claw, prompting her to stop and look at her. Confused, Latias did and shivered at how sternly the selkie was staring at her. The message, while unspoken, was clear.

Primarina, satisfied, replied to the Legendary, saying: " I did, long ago. It was my friend Milotic first born with her Gyarados Husband. A match made in heaven, those two." She added, reminiscing fondly at the scene. Just being allowed to be there was an immense honor that she believed would never be able to be repaid. She was still the Godmother of that child however.

Not wanting to be left out, Latias also shared her own experience.
"Me too me too. I witnessed my eldest sister hatch a shiny Latios as well. They were so happy and moved as well, the Latias and Latios." She recalled fondly.

Mesprit looked down. In their reminiscing, she could sense their emotions so much it hurt. They were all positive , all warmth, all loving. What wonderful mothers they would be, both of them.
But that was the problem! If that was how they were feeling...then why...

"Why...did I feel that...?" she muttered sadly, tears pooling in the corner of her eyes...

Latias and Primarina snapped out of their reverie, afraid that their reminiscing made the psychic Legendary feel even worse than she was already.

"Mes...i'm so.." Latias started before the small legendary put a gentle paw on her mouth, muffling her.

"It's okay Latias, i am not upset at you. I am just confused by my own emotions, I suppose" She said as she eyed a bottle behind the Selkie. She then made a request that surprised the both of them.

"Prima, give me a shot of this bottle." She asked...or rather demanded.

The selkie turned toward the bottle she was pointing at and her eyes widened.

Latias, who was still sort of chastising herself for triggering Mesprit like this also followed Mesprit's and Primarina's gaze before her mouth widened.

She then turned toward Mesprit. ''Are you sure about that?''

Primarina also seemed to have some reticence. ''I have to agree with Latias. Are you sure you want that?''

Mesprit frowned. She knew they meant well, of course they did. But right now... she didnt feel like being coddled. She wanted to talk, and she wanted to feel better.

"Mes...? Mesprit?" Called Latias after realizing that Mesprit had gone quiet with a frown on her face.

Mesprit simply extended the shot glass at Primarina. Ignoring Latias. "I am not a child. Pour it, or i'll go get it myself." She said sharply.

Primarina was very reticent, but ultimately, Mesprit was also a customer. Customers were kings. In that case, Queens.

With shaking hands ,the selkie took the bottle of absinthe and poured the light colored beverage in the small glass. Mesprit muttered a short thank you before grabbing the glass and gulping it down.

Mesprit felt the burning liquid make it down her troat and into her belly. Very quickly, she started to feel lightheaded and warm. A light blush appeared on her cute little face. Her eyes drooped ever so slightly and her sorrow was very much diminished.

As her she slightly lost track of her train of thoughts , her mind slightly quelled by the alcohol, she smiled for the first time.

Latias was slightly relieved but still wanted to be sure that her friend was alright, so she took Mesprit's hands in her claws with a worried expression.

"Mes...Are you sure that you are okay? We can go back the estate if..."

She proposed before Mesprit gave her a disarming smile.

"You are adorable when you worry like that you know that?" Mesprit said warmly, which made both womon...and The Fox blink.

Latias blushed horribly. "W..ait...what?"

Mesprit laughed lightly before looking at both womon's empty glasses.

"I am not going to be drinking all by myself. That would be rude. Don't worry about me. I'll be fine. " she said, as she perceptively guessed why neither Latias and Primarina were touching even a drop of alcohol.

Primarina and Latias both felt suddenly far more at ease, with Latias even loosing her worried expression. It was like a light and warm blanket had been laid on their worries. A gentle warm was now permeating the entire atmosphere. Even The fox, who was observing Mesprit from a far felt as if she was tucked in and told that everything was cool. But she bit her lip until she bled to remain focused on the task at hand.

"I asked you girls that question earlier because I was making a parallel between what i felt and what one is expected to feel when they see this. I didn't need to ask you how you felt because your emotions were so plain obvious to see that it made me feel weird, almost inadequate. Because i didnt feel much of those feelings when I saw Triton and the two parents. They looked so happy, so fulfilled, so eager to start that new chapter of their lives...and between each other...
I have been around for Eons, girls, and very rarely I have seen love this pure. Sometimes, you can just find it in the most unlikely of circumstances." She said softly, looking slightly wistful again.

Latias nodded sympathetically. "Then what is that they found? What did you feel seeing them?" Latias asked, intrigued by Mesprit's angle of thoughts...

The embodiment of emotion frowned slightly as she replied "Jealousy. It feels wrong to say such things, but i need not to lie to you girls. I should feel hapiness for them, for it isn't given to everyone to find soul mates and be blessed with parenthood. Yet, despite me genuinely being happy for them. I cannot help but feel unfulfilled. To put it simply. I long for something they have and I don't." She explained calmly enough, but the dejected look on her face and the fact that she took another shot made it clear that it bothered her.

Both womon looked at each other, nodding at each other. They understood what she was talking about.

Primarina smiled understandingly, placing a flipper on her shoulders. "I understand your predicament Mes. But, you shouldn't fret too much about it. I can't fully understand your longing, as i dont have your experience. But I can tell you this. Do not give into despair, as when it happens, when you find that group that will qwell your loneliness, you'll appreciate the wait even more. That's what I think." She said kindly

Latias also joined in. "Yeah Mes! I totally believe that you should just stay the way you are. I dunno if we can help with that. But you've got us. You will find it, your own. I am sure of it. I mean who wouldn't want you?" She said cheerily.

Mesprit took another shot, smiling and grateful. "You two are good friends, you know that?"

Both Primarina and Latias smiled, happy to see Mesprit in better spirits. "We try." Said Latias with the bubbly cheering smile that was her main characteristic.

Mesprit and the girls continued their evening, now gossiping a bit about the challengers and the games. The psychic type counted her blessings. It felt good to have Pokemon that were willing to be close to her.

Unfortunately for the sweet legendary... a fox was listening in and while her emotional struggles was tugging at her heartstring a little, her burning hatred prevented her to feel anymore pity for the embodiment of emotions. She would pay a grim price for her transgressions...and she would show her a bit of hope...and then a world of despair.

Croagunk in front of her was feeling weird.
He had only drank a single glass of pretty tame Bluk berry whisky, sitting at a paltry 15%. It tasted very good...but it was nothing he couldn't handle normally. However now, his head felt fuzzy, his skin warm and the blood in his body was pooling where the sun never shined. He let out an unconscious groan that made the Fox smile so evilly Darkrai next to it looked like the cutest stufful.

The fox flicked a under table tail somewhere very specific and upon confirmation, growled in appreciation.

"Well, Croagunk? Are you okay? You seem a bit...feverish..." She purred sensually, enjoying every bit of this.

"I...i think that we should go...i feeling...to well..." He barely was able to mutter. And for cause. An odd longing had taken his body over and was getting stronger by the second.

"His voice is gradually being overridden with Lust...perfect..." she though evilly as she got up.

"If that's the case...let's head toward the shacks...it'd be no good if you got sick now..." she said as both left the Lounge with the three girls never seeing them leave nor if they were even there.

The following morning, both teams made it to the hall rather quickly, having been called early by a loud Tapu Koko. This was relatively unusual, but not unwarranted. indeed, it was a certain time of the year after all now. The electric type Tapu was sporting a nice, stylish red outfit with a green mantle around his shoulders. He also had a white piece of paper in his claw. Mesprit however, looked absolutely bewitching. She had a red tiara on her head, which people had come to really find lovely on her. It really befitted the regal appearance she liked to take on from time too times. She also wore a beautiful red dress with a pure white scarf around her neck. He shimmering golden eyes stealing the breath of the onlookers. Many contestant stared at the two hosts. They looked very much well coordinated today, so the reason must had been pretty special.

Croagunk, ever fearless, was the one who actually broke the ice among the murmur provoked by their appearance.

''Well aren't you two looking fine, you swine. What's the big occasion, a cataclysmic reunion?'' He asked, bobbing his head on an unknown beat.

Bidoof had to get on the fun. ''I mean it actually look good on the hostess, but really Koko, what's with that ugly ass mantle of yours?'' He taunted the co-host bluntly.

Tapu Koko looked at him, bored by his antics. ''Considering the day it is today, I won't even entertain the thought of killing you. But don't push it you trash can beaver!''

This got most contestant confused. It was indeed easy to lose track of the passing days and nights on the Island.

Sneasel, brooding and in no mood for small talk took matters in his own hands. ''Well, how long are you guys going to waste our time? What's with those outfits, what's with those tensionless moods I can see from you two?'' He asked roughly

Monferno jumped and hanged from a grappling spot on the ceiling of the hall. ''Man, what kind of Beedrill have stung you today. Can't you smell the air around you? This festive mood? This happiness?'' He asked while most contestant gained a smile, understanding what he was makin allusion to.

Mesprit flashed a smile that turned Monferno's knees into jelly instantly. This had to be unfair. And he had a girlfriend too...yet, one smile from the emotion being and he was a goner. What a smile that was.

''Monferno here is indeed right. We are at the holidays season on Sosei. So we figured out that it would be nice to have a challenge encompassing the spirit of this period of the year.'' Mesprit said as she nodded at Koko

The lightning guardian lifted a claw and a bright light overtook everyone, disorienting them for a while.

When the light receded, they were not on the Island anymore.

The City of Castelia town, in Unova, might still have the same name as when the humans still walked this plane. However, the place, unlike Erukteak who had remained mostly the same, was very different than the one humans knew.

It was far larger than any city in Unova. Easily one of the largest of the Pokeearth. It was large, covered with Buildings that were as variant in size that it was extended. The long standing Castelia bridge, that had linked Pinwheel forest to the giant megapolis, who could have been all ruins, with the obvious lack of maintenance, had been revitalized with crystals and rocks to make a strong , straight platform of connection that linked the two regions. There was even a small commute of river houses along the bridges, home to many beaver like species like Bibarels, who ensured that the bridge received constant maintenance and surveillance.

It was on this bridge that the contestants finally found themselves. A lovely particularity was that it was currently snowing, so as you can imagine, some Pokemon were less than appreciative of this matter of fact.

''Are you looking to fucking kill me? Why is it so cold?'' Growled a grumpy Fraxure who was hugging her sides, shivering.

''What do you mean cold? I'm perfectly fine. This is cool!'' Said Monferno as he started dancing in the Snow, which melted around him, virtue of his fire typing.

''I would say that it's a bit cold yeah...'' Quietly complained Roserade

''I...i'm kind of fine...'' barely audibly said a shy Dunsparce, heating up with her necklace.

Mesprit sympathetically looked at them and with her powers, granted those not equipped for the cold with accessories to keep them warm.

Tapu Koko looked at Mesprit in awe. ''You could do that?''

The embodiment of emotion chuckled. ''Why of course. The show's stash of clothes is immense. We have things for everyone and I am more than happy to share some with them'' She revealed, smiling broadly.

The lighting guardian chuckled. ''Should have figured.'' he said before turning toward the contestants once more, producing a table, papers and pens from hammerspace and bringing it down on to the bridge floor.

Bidoof remarked that, now sporting an adorable clown themed winter hat and a scarf. ''So what's with the shebazz?''

Tapu Koko smiled, barely holding back his laughter. ''Well, clown, this is for the challenge.'' He said as some other contestants started laughing at his expense.

Sneasel, still relatively brooding but with a very small smirk appearing on the very edge of his mouth, relayed. ''Which is?''

Mesprit interjected immediately. ''Gift exchange.'' She replied simply.

Most contestant stared straight at her for several seconds, not exactly getting it. Mesprit saw that and rolled her eyes, motioning Koko to elaborate.

Koko happily obliged. ''So, maggots, today's challenge celebrate the tradition of the holidays, the couples and the spirit of Christmas. The latter is a vestige from when human walked this plane still, but its deeper meaning is still valid for us Pokemon, and that's why we still call it Christmas and still view it as an important thanksgiving day. So the challenge will involve, you , writing down a gift you'd like and the name of a significant other. Those who have a couple, you exchange to each other. As for the others, who don't have a significant other in the game. Wing it! You have all day for this and the entire Megapolis of Castelia is your Christmas market. The team who has the most right answer will win the challenge and the losing team will send someone down to hell. Pretty simple right? So go!'' He said quickly as another flash light scattered the contestants before they had the time to protest or ask too many questions.

000

Tapu Koko was smiling in the confessional, looking at his own paper with a blush on his face.

''What should i get Her...to convince her to go out with me?''

000

Mesprit smiled at the beautiful sight in front of her. Of course, she had to turn invisible, as to not completely paralyze the city with her mere presence. however, with the thick snow and wind, it wouldn't have been a problem even with her being visible.

''MES!'' A cheery, peppy voice called her.

The embodiment of emotion smiled and turned around. Latias had just arrived. Being as fast as a fabled human jet had its advantages it seemed.

''Glad you could make it Latias. So you told me that this is the paradise for ''shopping?'' I am in your hands then. She said as the younger dragon enthusiastically dragged the other legend toward the city.

000

When the light had receded around her, Lopunny? was alone in a busy street of the megapolis's downtown center. How she had made it here was a complete mystery. But it wasn't relevant right now. She had a mission to get a gift for the Monkey of her dreams and she honestly had no idea on what that could be. Ignoring the appreciative look her Lopunny morph attracted from the passerby, the ghost type walked around the area, crossing streets and even stopping to admire the city.

Despite the fine white sheet of snow covering most buildings, It was lovely how the different shapes and building were forming a beautiful scenery. The various Christmas themed decorations on the street really made the ghost bunny nostalgic of the times where she was still alive. She was blessed that she could live those emotions once again.

By sheer chance...the ghost type bunny spotted a billboard announcement for a luxuriant gym that had a once in a lifetime opportunity for a lifetime deal. She smiled carnivorously.

''It seems that Arceus is smiling upon me today...'' She said as she walked toward it with clear intent in her eyes.

000

Monferno was wandering around the busy chic streets of Castelia. All around him were expensive shops with glittering outfits. It really seemed that he had made it in some sort of fashionable clothing district. The fire type Monkey was looking around in wonder, as it was the first time he was in such a big city. His outdoor acclimated self was an ill fit for the snow covered city, but he managed to keep it together for a little bit.

This could have been a quiet search for an affordable gift for his beloved ghost bunny. However, it wasn't to be, would be too easy.

''HEY, GET BACK HERE!'' He heard as some Pokemon burst through the door of a wealthy looking shop and ran past the playful Pokemon.

Monferno didn't even think. Using Mach punch, he easily was able to catch the burglar, a pretty Liepard.

A lot of the passerbys walked around without even looking at what was happening, however, some were impressed at the speed the Monkey had displayed in catching the thief.

Soon after, the owner of the shop, a very flamboyant looking Ludicolo arrived, huffing after the effort.

''Mamma mia. You managed to catch este cabròn pronto! Muchas gracias!'' He said, mid huffing, shaking both Monferno's paws vigorously.

Monferno looked off putted, not having understood a word from at least half of that the newcomer had said.

Seeing his visible confused interlocutor with that look, he busy shop owner rubbed his head sheepishly.

''I am sorry. I always seems to forget that I am not in Paldea anymore. I am Allessandro Del Grêmio. You are?'' He asked politely, extending a hand for the monkey to take and lift himself off the ground.

''I am Monferno! Nice to meetcha.'' He said with a bright smile as two Magneton Officers came in, spoke quickly in Unovian to Allessandro who nodded quickly.
The Liepard was glowering at the Monkey but there was nothing to be done. She was quickly put in the police officer's ''car'' and driven away to custody.

''Tell me, what can I do to repay you? This Liepard was notorious for having stolen at least 15 times in my establishment. With your help, she was finally put out of commission.'' He explained.

Monferno smiled at such words.

000

Monferno was smirking in the confessional. ''My mother always said that it paid to do the right thing. I can definitely see that she was right, like she always is. Folk, listen to your mothers when they speak.

000

BANG!

With a powerful Aqua tail attack, the Turtle Pokemon quickly knocked the window of a rich jeweller store and grabbed an immaculate diamond necklace with no regard for the store's well being and quickly made his getaway. He had done something like this so often during his time here, before the show even started that it wasn't some stupid angry jewellewer that would stop him. Alolan Ninetales was a fancy fox, so he would get her something fancy.

In the matter of minutes, he had lost the angry Pokemon after him, walking toward the Piers of Castelia. His surprise was total when he saw an immaculate pelt almost melding with the SnowWartortle stared at the lovely fox for a good minute, taking in the image that if drawn or taken a picture of, could easily being award worthy.

The Turtle often couldn't believe the sheer chance that he had to be with such a creature. As he walked toward the fox, he chuckled. This was definitely a once in a lifetime experience. And he would make the most of it.

"Hey babe. I didn't expect to be close to the Castelia piers and sewers.

Alolan Ninetales got up and had a long, lavish and languid stretch in front of the turtle before walikg to him.

"I found myself here after the bright light. I lucked out by getting a New necklace for you from a blastoise fan. You've been such a good boy that I can give that to you..." she purred as she gave the turtle an appreciating lick on his face.

Wartortle's cheeks warmed up.
Ninetales was rarely this "cute". She was more into breaking his hips with almost mind warping pleasure. This was an occasion to cherish

"Its fine. You've more than deserved this. Happy holidays, Ninetales." He said warmly as he presented the fine diamond Necklace.

Alolan Ninetales chocked up. She recognized the value of the necklace immediately. It kind of angered her, deep down. In what way her boytoy had the right to be that cute and reckless? She was just using him to feel better. Didn't he see this. Wartortle was a ruffian. He was a bandit. He must had his own doubts, or using her too, as bragging rights for later. She know that she was on verge of superstardom. She could so easily attein the highest spheres, a place where she knew she couldn't take him. To stand at the top, one had to be twisted enough to remain. To use everything and anyone. She knew of his true nature. She felt a tinge of regret because she could tell, while the blue skinned Pokemon was rough and seemed to have seen stuff, he was not like her.
She deep down viewed him as a tool, but he saw her as worthy enough for such a necklace...even if it meany stealing it.
She didn't want to look too vulnerable so she took the necklace before giving it back and looking up expectantly.

Wartortle chuckled. This was his fox all right. Too proud to get all vulnerable and thankful. She wanted him to put that necklace on her neck. He gladly obliged, even gratifying the fox's neck with a kiss after the fact. The fox purred. She wrapped her tails around the turtle and kissed him deeply. Just for this time, her heart longued for genuine love and the turtle was willing.

Both Pokemon stayed like this for a while before they separated. The turtle then showed the entrance to the sewers.

"Castelia city is my turf, and the sewers were where I lived. They are clean now, compared to how they were before. I feel that you should know where I am from." He said softly, a warm smile on his face.

Alolan Ninetales was intrigued, as she had never seen her boytoy this happy and relaxed before. She didn't feel too pleased about entering a sewer system, but considering that her boy just got her such a priceless necklace, she could make a little exception.

So with Alolan Ninetales wrapping a tail around his waist, both Pokemon entered the castelia sewers.

"Madam. I am sorry. But you need to pay for this lifetime gym licence. There are no other alternatives..." tried to explain a slightly suffering hitmonlee.

Why was he suffering?

In front of him was the most alluring Lopunny that the world, trying everything in her power to get him to grant her beloved monkey boyfriend a lifetime membership to that luxuriant gym series.

The hitmonlee had been close to grant everything that odd purple skinned Lopunny wanted. But he would have lost his job and position if he had yield.

Lopunny? was peeved. How dare this mere torso with limbs dared resist her requests. She wanted to make her Monkey happy, and nothing would stop her from achieving her goal.

"I see. Well, I didn't want to do this, but you are too stubborn for me. She said before her deep red eyes locked with the hitmon. Before the latter could respond, his entire body seized up before relaxing.

A few minutes later, Lopunny? Was exiting the lobby with a satisfied look on her face as other clerks from the gym rushed to a now unscouncious Hitmonlee.

As she exited the gym, the Lopunny? Flashed briefly. She suddenly started panting but it didn't last. She nodded before heading toward the square in the middle of the city.

On a nearby alley, Scyther was panting. He saw everything that had just transpired. He has seen the Lopunny morph psychically attack the hitmonlee clerk to get thay black chrome card, synonymous with lifetime membership to that gym. He always had been weary of that transforming ghost. Now he had a real reason why.

"That wraith. I must report that to the gym and the police. Evil shall not prevail!" He said as he turned, resolute to write the wrong he has seen.

"...too bad you shall never reach any of them..." said a terrifying voice behind him.

Scyther turned around and didn't even bet to scream as Haunter? Pinned him to the wall violently.

The last thing Scyther saw was three terrifying claws plunging on his head.
After this, everything went black.

000

Monferno was now walking toward the square at the middle of the city. In his hands rested a bag containing a beautiful black outfit and a scarf, given for free by the owner of the rich clothing store. The small fire monkey, ever helpful, had worked a little for the sir and had even stopped 4 other thiefs from stealing from the store. When the small monkey told the Ludicolo he has to leave. The paldean native was almost heartbroken. He gave him the choice of one outfit and offered him a position whenever he would want it.
Monferno smiled and promised he would think about it.

"It really pays to do the right thing..." he said happily as he thought of how sweet and beautiful Haunter would be in that outfit.

000

Alolan Ninetales looked in awe at the little spot Wartortle showed her. It was above ground, and it looked like a beautiful garden. Around them, a few eevees were running around. In the middle of the garden, a beautiful Pine Tree was towering, immaculate with Snow.

"This is where I lived Ninetales. The unity square..." he presented as they entered his small shack on the corner of the garden.

Alolan Ninetales had to admit that the shack wasn't that bad looking either. The place had been relatively untouched since the Turtle Pokemon had taken the Lapras to Sosei island.

''That's a nice place actually. Although I am also impressed with the sewers. they are much cleaner than what I expected them to be.'' She noted as she took place on a cushion.

Wartortle nodded. ''Yeah. The Grimer and Muk, as well as trubbish and Garbodor makes pretty good cleaners. That's why it's so clean down there. And that's also why I can pass through them in order to come to this square and my house.'' He explained as he took out some coffee and started brewing it.

The Alolan kitsune was almost taken aback with how sweet Wartortle was being. It started to weight on her mind more and more, the way she knew she was only using him. She forced those thoughts down as she focused back to what what the blue water was explaining. Something about being born in Vermillion.

''I see. But if you were born in Vermilion, how come you have lived all the way here, in Castelia?'' She asked, curious now,

Wartortle's face turned a bit grave at that question.

''It's a long story. But in short... I was betrayed by comrades from the Turtle squad I was supposed to rule once I turned 15 years old. I was drugged then put into a ship that ended up arriving here In Castelia town. When I woke up I was floating in the sewers. I had no idea where I was, why I was there and for what purpose was I betrayed? but quickly I realized that I would not change my circumstances that easily and whining didn't serve any purpose as far as I was concerned. The only thing I could do was continue living. So that's what I did. I managed to make my place here, beat, affirm and intimidate in order to gain some peace, and I lived here in the square until i saw that announcement about the games back on the billboards, and with that, here I am. I don't exactly have much dreams, but I suppose that those new experiences and Meeting you...you could call this fullfillment of a dream. I suppose thart gaining a squirtle gang would be nice too, but I don't think that 'l find this many squirtle to lead here anyway hahaha.'' He explained as they both just indulged in each other's presence for a while, filing the square with the sound of pleasent laughter, something that it had been a while since the small encloded space had.

000

Alolan Ninetales was looking at the camera in the confessional with a troubled look on her face.

''W..why are you even like this? There's no way you are not fully aware of what I am doing to you if you have this kind of background. Why are you allowing this to happen?'' She murmured painfully before a violent coughing fit took her and made blood seep from her maw.

000

Wartortle was shrugging in the confessional. ''She has a troubled look on her face now. I am not sure why. I know she likes to blow my mind away and I cannot shake the feeling sometimes that I am just a toy being used for her pleasure. But there is something...something about her that tells me that this chick isn't truly what she say she is. It's like a fog in my head. But I can tell that she's the way she is for a reason. For that, I will stand by her until i know what it is...

*Montage time*

- Tapu Koko went to a famous Aggron shop and bought a very specific Item for a very specific Pokemon. The Aggron was baffled that he was able to pay cash the extremely expensive price tag. But he was a guardian, so that might explain it.

- Lapras wandered off sadly thinking of Makuhita and Triton but manages to see a shooting star, lifting her spirit. She then decided to enter a Store for water types and purchased a Mystic water, famed for their good fortune granting powers, as well as the strenghtening of water Pokemon moves. It would make a wonderful gift for their new foster son.

- Dunsparce managed to sneak in a casino and won the jackpot. With that, thinking of Magikarp, she bought him a Gyaradosite that she would send to him later.

- Yamask got trapped by Sandile but was finally discovered by Hattrem, who had a reaper cloth for Yamask so she could feel less bare and more strong. They wiped the floor with him after.

- Croagunk just tried to find a good club to check out how it is, hardly concerned by the challenge. He didn't consider having any significant other to speak off.

- Bidoof got the TM for psychic, stating that any significant other would have to have the tools to destroy the ferret who humiliated him.

- Sneasel got a Razor claw from finding the local black Market. He brutally put an end to some ruffian beating on a kid who likes to read, as it remind him of his past. He then instructed the kid to grow stronger, as the world only favors the winners.

- Roserade was seen entering a bookstore and getting out with an encyclopedia of the world.

- The possessed Scyther created quite the commotion at the grand three opening and is confronted by Metang, Dunsparce , Falinks , then joined by Monferno, Wartortle and Ninetales. He was threatening to cut of the beautiful Oracìon Christmas tree that was being prepared for the lighting that was to happen soon. he gave quite the struggle, being strangely powered by ghost like energy. However, with the combined effort of all of the Pokemon present, he was quickly subdued before the police could arrest him for erratic behavior.

*End of the montage*

With the Scyther incident under control, as the rest of the Pokemon arrived to the center of the city, the day was well advanced. With the various carolls as background noise, the many Pokemon from both teams among a lot of others were expectantly looking a the giant tree that was about to be lit off of what seemed to be countless amounts of lights and decorations. A countdown started, raising the tension a little.

5,4,3,2,1...

The Tree lit up beautifully. The light show was nothing short of spectacular. It was like a fire work of all time had been prepared here. The light was captivating, as the carols of the bells performed by an invisible Pokemon band created a fairy like atmosphere. Everyone spontaneously wished each other Merry Christmas, either fistbumping, hugging, kissing, whatever they felt like doing with each other. Monferno and Lopunny? Now sporting a beautiful and luxuriant looking black scarf held hand with the taller bunny gently and protectively holding Monferno against herself, Alolan Ninetales and Wartortle kissed, Lapras looked fondly to the skies, thinking of her soon to be fiancé and her foster son, Dunsparce had a thought for Magicarp before looking down at her necklace. Yamask, now donning the reaper cloth, and Hattrem were hugging. Fraxure, sporting now a red and yellow focus band and holding another in her paw, thinking about how much she wanted to fight a certain blue and black jackal pup.

Mesprit was looking at this and smiled. The amount of positive emotion that she felt watching the contestants and the other passerby's who had stopped to witness the lighting was almost addictive. But it had this same longing. She wanted something like that as well. She wanted to be held like Lopunny was holding Monferno. she wanted to be thought about like Lapras was thinking of Makuhita or that Dunsparce was thinking about Magikarp. It was so unfair in a sense. Why could they get to feel something like that when her, the one who introduced the concept, couldn't...

For certain of the people present at the lighting, the light grew stronger and they knew what it meant. It was time to go. Wartortle, who was holding Ninetales against his chest, looked one last time toward the Castelia piers and smiled, happy that he had the opportunity to make Ninetales visit his home and hear about his past.

As the light receded, they were back on the bridge. Tapu Koko didn't waste any time however. He had a gift to give to a certain someone, so he didn't even fancy make the suspense last.

''You are back here at last, maggots, and I can see from the look on your faces that you enjoyed the challenge a lot. Happy Holidays to all of you. However, Zamazentas, you guys lose today. Don't question me. You had a few of your teams not even picking up any gifts and we had to stop Scyther from creating a national incident. You guys lose. Go vote someone off. He said as another big flash of light saw them back on the Island.

As the Zacians barely cheered and dispersed away, the Zamazenta huddled together to discuss who they would eliminate.

Surprisingly, they were not really given a choice in the matter.

''Eliminate me!'' A loud voice said.

Everyone turned and saw scyther with his things ready.

Monferno looked at him sadly. ''We were about to draw lots...I don't want to vote for you...it's not because you messed up once that you must go...'' He tried to reason the knight.

Scyther however, wouldn't have it. ''Just do it..please...'' he almost begged.

Lopunny interjected. ''I don't like this either, but, if he wants to go...let him go.'' She said softly.

Monferno sighed sadly and looked at the others of his team. ''Any of you have any objections?'' He asked

Nobody piped about it.

Monferno sighed. ''Well...nice knowing you buddy...'' He said, not really happy about losing a team member.

After this, all of the Zamazentas went to vote.

At the ceremony, Koko, who had seen the vote and was dismissive as he was too nervous about giving his gift to someone special simply used his fairy powers to give everyone an oran berry but Scyther.

The bug type put on his visor and bowed farewell to the entire group.

''We'll miss you...'' Said Monferno, not happy with that at all.

''We will one day fight again, you can count on that!'' Said falinks as he and his hoplite saluted in fromation.

With a grave nod, the praying mantis got to the end of the deck, where reality warped right in front of him and black, shadowy tentacles wrapped around him and yanked him into the hole.

Lopunny? Gently hugged Monferno in support, and gently, gratefully, Monferno wrapped his arms around the ghost type morph. Because of him being face full in her chest, he never realized that only now, Lopunny's shadow had returned to her, harboring a sinister smile.

''Let's go love...'' She said softly.

Monferno nodded and they both headed toward the shack.

Tapu Koko and Mesprit looked at each other. ''Well, that was a nice day over there. But now I finally can give ''Her'' her gift...'' Said Koko as he turned to leave.

''To Who?'' Said a soft, playful voice that made Tapu Koko shiver.

''Don't tell me...'' he thought before turning around.

And to his grand damn, it was Latias, looking at him cutely...almost expectantly.

Mesprit couldn't even chuckle. The way koko's shell had almost turned pink was too precious. It was so cute.

''W...wh...wha-t ar...e you even doing here Latias?'' He stammered, desesperately trying to get a hold of his heart.

''Well I went to shop for the gift exchange. And I had to bring this one shopping too...'' She said as she playfully ''caught'' Mesprit in a hug that made the embodiment of emotion blush bashfully.

''I..I see...'' Koko said, looking down, not even daring looking at Latias's beautiful golden eyes...

The Eon pokemon saw the bag and remembered what the electric guardian had said. ''You said that you needed to give ''her'' a gift. Who's the lucky girl hmmm?'' She said as she got close to Koko.

Really close to him, in fact.

Koko almost fainted. How was she doing this? It was as if she knew somehow that she was the subject of his gift.

He wanted so desesperately to calm himself and be confident instead of looking like a schoolboy that was caught for doing something naughty, but he couldn't Instead, he simply looked away and lifted the gift for Latias to see, as even if it wasn't for her, she would get the answer she wants if she really wanted to.

Latias gasped as she opened the wrappings and saw a Latiasite. ''Woah...that's for me? How did you even find this Koko?'' She asked, her eyes shimmering with wonder and care as the Mega Stone shimmered in the birthing moonlight.

Koko looked away again, unable to bear her gaze. ''I have good contacts...'' He said cryptically, wanting to sound cool and mysterious and utterly failing.

Latias laughed lightly, slapping Koko across the head. ''You dork...''

Koko actually reacted to it. ''Hey! Watch the claws'' He hissed.

Latias laughed as she then lifted her neck expectantly. After Koko didn't move, too busy staring, Latias shuffled impatiently. ''Well? you went through the trouble of getting me a Latiasite. That Necklace you want to put it on won't put itself right? '' She said slightly condescendingly.

Mesprit shook her head. She knew full well what Latias was doing and while she was enjoying the spectacle, she couldn't help but feel a bit...envious.

Tapu Koko wanted to dissapear. He was happy that Latias was obviously pleased with his gift, but now she wanted him to up the necklace around her neck? And he had the growing suspicion that she was preparing a prank or something. Howerver, there was no making her wait any longer, so the Electric type guardian slowly put the Necklace around her neck and while he arrived at the base, Latias used her long neck to nuzzle Koko's cheek, planting a big kiss on it.

''Thank you Koko. That's sweet of you. Here's a Tapunium Z for your troubles.'' She said as she gave him a watch with the tapunium Z crystal put in it.

Tapu Koko froze, looked up at Latias, who gave him her sweetest smile, making him melt.

This was it. This was the moment where he ask her out. But sadly, the kiss had drained his last remaining willpower to not vanish. After some infructuous attempts at asking the Eon Pokemon out to the lounge...the Tapu disappeared in a flash of light.

Latias laughed softly before turning to Mesprit. ''He is so cute...and so funny to mess with...'' She commented.

Mesprit nodded. ''Are you sure about this though?'' She asked relatively seriously.

Latias nodded. '' About what we discussed during the shopping? Yes I am. I will mess with him some more, then I'll ask him out if he doesn't do it before.'' She said while floating away.

Mesprit looked down toward the sunset. A lightly painful, linguering ache took hold of her heart. As the emotion bringer, she always had been able to feel emotions much more acutely, wether she wanted it or not. Normally, this emotion sensing virtuosy she possessed was very useful. However, right now, the emotion she was feeling the most...she wished she could just lock it away. Loneliness. As she gazed upon the countless couples, families, close friends and otherwise who littered the plaza as they watched the beautiful Oracion lighting, she thought of her brothers, with whom she would have loved sharing this moment...and then she thought about her personal situation. It was odd. It wasn't the first christmas that she had spent relatively alone. But somehow, this one, was different. She had a longing for her own that she had never felt so strongly before. She was now acutely aware of that void in her heart, a void that not even her brothers, the show nor her duty could fill. The primal longing to progenite kits of her own.

With a deep frown, the Emotion Pokemon elevated herself, her eyes full of water.

''It seems that even I cannot escape the one feeling that made the world go round. Oh, I so long kinship of my own...'' She whispered sadly, as the wind blew and caught scintillating tears freezing instantly on its trail

The sun had long set on the Island. The atmosphere was charged, eerie, as if something big was in the works. Alone in the bushy forest around the lounge area, Alolan Ninetales looked at her small vial of liquid. Completely crystal clear, as if it was made of the purest mystic water. Completely tasteless as well, as she had verified it on Croagunk and herself after her test night a few days prior. The absolutely mind blowing night of passion that had followed proved that the concoction was immaculate. Her knowledge as well as the council of that poor soul that had helped her back in Erukteak had been precious. Her plan was top notch, ready to fire. Tonight, the first big part of it would be enacted. Then, all she needed to do was to sagely wait until the inevitable happened. Confident, purred to herself, this would be a good night. As she walked toward the exit of the shack, a certain blue skinned shellfish stopped her.

''Where you going, Ninetales?'' He asked suspiciously.

The Ice fox smiled at him. ''Aren't you a nosy one, Wartortle? I am feeling kind of jolly tonight, so i will indulge you. You were also pretty good today during the challenge today.'' She said as she nuzzled him, deliberately rubbing her tail where the sun never shined on for him to rile him up before laying her maw next to his ear.

''I will show to the world that even a Goddess, can bleed...'' She murmured in his ears before kissing him deeply.

Wartortle couldn't help but melt into the kiss, while Ninetales was enjoying every single one of her domination over him. She controlled him. Nothing could stop her if she so desired. When she separated from him, she whispered again into his ear, saying.

''When I return from my escapade, we will have some fun. I'll make you forget what you saw that night...''

As she exited, Wartortle shivered. Her tone had beed too eerie...too sinister. He was genuinely scared of whoever was her target and whatever she wanted to do to that target.

000

Wartortle was staring at the camera in the confessional.

''This is like a pattern. Whenever she gets too frisky with me, she is preparing something. Judging by how good this just felt...she must be feeling very confident and pleased with herself. Also..what was that vial I saw in her fur, and why did she had that small pocked black cube with her?'' He asked confusedly as the camera turned static.

000

Alolan Ninetales entered the Lounge. As usual, it was rather busy, with many Pokemon at different spots. The counter seemed to be busy with coming and going. Strangely enough, the lights tonight were lower than usual, creating a much more intimate atmosphere. The Lounge's dance floor was relatively packed, with lofi, nightclub like music playing in the background, with just enough volume that it blended well with the ambient noise. You could still listen to someone talking directly in front of you, but listening to anything further than that would be difficult with the ambient brouhaha. Still, it was a good time for her mission. So silently, she installed herself at the table next to the bar, patiently waiting for her prey to come by. She had annoyed her a lot today, her prey. She was bound to come to Lounge to chat with Primarina and Latias. Something she had realized, via various means set up with the help of the syndicate. Those lads were quite versed in the art of information gathering and espionage, it seemed. It might have stemmed from their experience in the slums and streets of their region. The Ice/Fairy had to admit, she used to look upon street ruffians with disdain, but now, she couldn't refute the pretty clear fact that their set of expertise were pretty useful. The information they had gathered allowed her to set up that ambush. She wouldn't be caught, and she would watch her play descend into madness tonight.

Soon enough, her prey appeared, in all of her insolent glory. She looked quite peeved, and even more dejected than usual. The fox thanked Arceus for the fact that tonight was a club night at the Lounge, as it facilitated her work tremendously. It only needed one moment of total deception, maybe even some luck, and her plan would be set in motion with consequences she did not know about yet, but would torment her prey like it was hell on earth.

''And now, we wait for the perfect opportunity...'' She whispered to herself softly, keeping as low profile as possible while never leaving her prey out of her line of sight.

Quite indeed, Mesprit had made it to the Lounge, as talking with Latias and Primarina had been liberating for her. She also had started to exchange more frequently with Meloetta, otherwise known as Melody and was happy to find so much things in common with the Pop star. Being privy to Mew's past via her exchanges with the victory Pokemon, Victini, she could safely say that it was probably nothing short of an Arceus's led miracle that the pink little cat had bagged such a prestigious and influence fiancée, although her Pirouette's form was sometimes far too forward and eager for her. However, she didn't dislike that part of her, as it meshed well with her mischievous, prankish personality. It was a shame that she didn't get to truly express herself like she would like, being a Pokemon of higher standing. Feeling free and silly with them definitely had its advantages. The Problem however, was that she was growing slowly jealous and wistful of some of these things they could enjoy... Those realization, whenever they hit her, invariably brought her mood down. She was doing incredible, the show was rolling, the crime levels across the regions had even decreased ever since the show started, which was something she could only be happy for. Victini, whom she had led into therapy for so long now, had finally received a call from Uxie and had accepted his offer. It did mean that he was somewhat less present for Tapu Koko and his mentoring duties, but she could only be happy for the bunny.

Mesprit sat down at the counter near. In the relatively dim litted bar, she enjoyed the relative anonimity that stemmed from that fact, as she wished not to be looked at with reverance and treated differently all the time. She had made the request to Primarina to dim the lights a little bit more in general, after listening to a report Tapu Koko had done on different bars and lounges. (Yes, he was also doing stuff like that. The measure seemed to have worked as the lounge area had been more and more successful with contestants and interns. Primarina could only be happy about that turn of event, as she very much enjoyed a full lounge.

''Is this seat taken?'' asked a chattering voice right next to Mesprit.

Surprised, the embodiment of emotion turned around. To her surprise, it was a contestant.

''It isn't, but I am surprised that you are here and not with your team.'' Replied the psychic type, instantly putting on a mask of relaxation and affability on her face, as she did not need him to question her.

Indeed, Croagunk had taken a seat next to the legendary Pokemon. The small Muay Thai frog looked calm and relaxed, which was quite differing from the shifty way he seemed to be with the others. This intrigued Mesprit.

''I can understand that. But I ain't going to be tailing my teammates all the time. I like coming here when I want to change the scenery.'' He explained calmly.

Mesprit could certainly relate to that. ''I cannot say that I cannot get that.'' She replied, giggling slightly.

Croagunk nodded, natural as if he was a fish in the water. ''Being around other people can give someone a broader perspective. If not to simply enjoy some good alcohol.''

Mesprit nodded, a genuine smile forming on her lips. Not that Croagunk could make the difference, but she was already feeling quite at ease talking to him.

Primarina finally finished with the other customers and was able to come over to Mesprit's location.

''Good evening Mes, Croagunk.'' She greeted them with a welcoming smile on her face.

''Good evening, Prima. I am glad to see you.'' Mesprit said.

''Hey Primarina, I see life treats you well.'' Said suavely the Muay Thai frog, catching the selkie slightly off guard.

''Why thank you Croagunk. You are also doing well in the game so far.'' She said as she pulled out some drink from her shelve.

''May I be allowed to offer you a drink?'' Croagunk asked Mesprit with a confident smile.

Rapidly Mesprit was surprised at how lacking of any sort of ulterior motive Croagunk was. It contrasted so much with his normal behavior, but she couldn't help but feel that this is what Croagunk was really like. She wanted to ask about that. Why was he hiding that true nature of his. So she would use that opportunity.

''I can allow you if you reply to some of my questions. I just realized now that I haven't had the opportunity to really talk with any of you contestants, even the team leaders closely. If you talk to me about yourself, you can brag that you shared a drink with a legendary Pokemon. How is that for bragging rights?'' She said with Croagunk blinking quickly at how quickly Mesprit went from being relatively distant to casual. It could only make him feel more comfortable.

''I will gladly if you answers some of mine, Mesprit.'' The chattering frog said as he turned toward Primarina. ''Primarina, may I ask you for two shot of 50% Kahlua?''

''Coming right up!'' Said the selkie, happy to serve. With expert work and within a few seconds, she had the shots ready for both Pokemon to enjoy.

Croagunk took his glass as Mesprit took hers.

''Cheers and Health!'' Both said as they clanged their glasses together. A few seconds later and the strong liquor was down their throats, the alcohol quickly warming them up and relaxing the both of them.

''So, I wanted to know. How are you so different? You look far more shifty when you hang around certain people.'' asked the emotion Pokemon.

Croagunk chuckled. ''Ah them?'' he said before shrugging. ''In order to survive in a game like this, you need to be surrounded by people. I just act that way so I blend in. It doesn't mean that I am as they are after all.'' He replied truthfully.

''So it is a front then? Why do you need to maintain a front?'' She asked, very interested by his take.

Croagunk sighed. ''It stems from my experiences. You just cannot survive in the streets without the ability to maintain a front. Wether it's a front of toughness, a front of madness or a front of violence. It is a vital skill. It is not ideal, but it gets the job done.'' He explained

Mesprit felt for the frog. ''I see. I can't say i share the actual experience of such a life, but I am familiar with it. As long as you find fulfillment in it, or some happiness, it's still worth it.

Croagunk nodded sagely. ''Indeed. I do find happiness in my life, making it better by winning the competition would be fun though.'' He said as he laughed out loud, joined by Mesprit.

''My turn now. I was familiar with game shows like these before coming to the Island. Some old hosts like Mew and Victini were notorious for their amorous conquests. But i have seldom heard about any female legendary hosts having the same history. Are you any different?'' He asked the legendary Pokemon.

''My my, didn't your mother never tell you to avoid this kind of conversations with a lady?'' She asked to now sweating croagunk.

''O..oh. I'm sor...'' Started the frog before Mesprit, now sporting an adorable blush on her face, laughed softly.

''You should have seen your face. Oh my Arceus...'' She laughed before the frog chattered in slight annoyance. Then she calmed down a bit before responding.

''I am pretty different, Croagunk. You should know that Mew and Victini, while notorious, are not exactly Legendary Pokemon. They are very rare indeed, and very elusive species, like all mythical Pokemon like those are. But not legendary in the proper sense of the term. As for me, well in the eons I have been walking this plane, I never had anyone be interested in me romantically or otherwise?'' She revealed nonchalantly, playing with a tail in slight annoyance.

This surprised Croagunk. ''What? A Pokemon as cute as you? I cannot believe it.''

Mesprit blushed at the compliment. ''Would I have any reason to lie to you? Thanks for the compliment though.'' She asked as she downed a second shot of liquor, definitely enjoying the delicious taste and the warmth that spread throughout her body.

Croagunk couldn't fault that line of reasoning. ''I suppose you do not. But damn shawty. With the way you look when you smile and dress, I would have bet on you at least being hit on.'' He commented.

Mesprit looked at him mischievously. ''If I didn't know better, i'd almost guess that you are flirting with me right now.'' She remarked.

It was Croagunk's turn to blush. Under this dim lit counter, in the bar, Mesprit did appear like a mysterious, exotic beauty. However...

''I don't think I'd have the cohonnes to even pretend that I have any chance. But I do mean what I said. I do find it odd that you were never with nobody for so long. Is it because you don't want to?'' he asked as he put his hands under his chin pensively.

Mesprit remained quiet after that question, the gentle, warm haze of alcohol starting to gently fog her thoughts. She eventually responded however.

''I have definitely been hit on before, yet, I believe that I will gain the right one one day. I am such Pokemon that do uphold traditional viewpoints. That comes with a lot of positive things...but it does come with some inconveniences.'' She admitted.

Croagunk nodded. ''Such as?'' He asked, very intrigued at what the embodiment of emotions was implying.

Mesprit quickly pondered about revealing that part about her. But ultimately, she didn't have anything to hide, and if anything, it was only a further testament of her morality. So she didn't.

''For example, I am still pure of any sort of defilement.'' She said.

Perceptive, Croagunk understood immediately what she meant...before actually getting what she was getting at.

''Seriously? To have not found the right person to be with is one thing... but you mean that you have never...?'' He said before stopping, desiring to not air out his realization for every ears to see, which Mesprit appreciated.

''Indeed. I am waiting for the right moment to come along. I cannot say that the idea has never crossed my mind, making me very interested about it, but so far, I have never dated, let alone have been taken.'' She said before continuing. ''Judging by your reaction, it seems that you are rather comfortable and knowledgeable about it. Does it feel as good as it is chanted?''

Croagunk, still reeling from the revelation, regained his composure rather quickly. He was even quite fine with it, something that again, Mesprit quite appreciated.

''I cannot speak for everyone. But yes. It does. It isn't farfetched to say that it's one of the best things that can happen to you. But, to tell you the truth, even though I am from the streets, I frankly dislike the notion of going at it like Scorbunnies. It should have meaning, the action and the one you do that with.'' He said sagely as he sipped once again on his cocktail.

Mesprit smiled appreciatively at Croagunk. '' You are surprisingly wise for a frog from the street, no offense.''

Croagunk chattered happily. ''None taken.''

The two of them continued to talk a little while, having a good time. Eventually, the frog hopped of his chair and bid Mesprit adieu, walking as if the 4 shots he had drank had absolutely no effect on him. Croagunks sure were resistant to Alcohol. She then stared at the crowd, losing herself in her thoughts as the warmth she had felt earlier slowly started to go north, the blush on her face being even more pronounced. That familiar thingling sensation at the pit of her stomach came back. That was one piece of information she hadn't disclosed to him, and now the torment was just beginning.

The chattering frog left the Lounge Area and got into the path back to Sosei square, where the shacks were located. Pulling out a small black devise from his Muay Thay bandages, he looked for a long time at it.

''I honestly feel bad about recording now...But business is business. She is quite fun to talk with, but I am just not worthy.'' He said gravely before hopping away to report to his leader, whom he was sure had already taken tons of pictures form his hiding spot.

Back at the lounge, the fox jubilated. After seeing that conversation between Mesprit and Croagunk and Mesprit now feeling much more takable with her slight tispy disposition, the time was almost upon her to set the things in motions. Such a time did in fact, arrive.

Mesprit had commanded a cocktail after her three shots, deciding that it would be her last drink for the night. A Brandy, Oran liquor drink with ice. Fancy, but quite tasty, as Croagunk had suggested.

Primarina had given that to Mesprit happily, enjoying the fact that she was enjoying herself here, which contrasted well with the way she had felt a few days prior.

Eventually, Mesprit got up and went to talk to Primarina about the composition of the drink, as she was interested by it. At that moment, the Ice type knew it was time to act. Using her inherent ability to refract light, she quietly and silently approached the counter, and versed the content of her vial into it. Then, as she had practiced serveral times before, as she thought of that mission, casted a quick illusion to make it as if the content of her glass hadn't been touched. Then, just as quickly, made it back to her place. The whole operation had taken around 30 seconds tops. But it was now done. It had been so easy that she had to hold herself back from cackling maniacally. Soon enough, Mesprit came back to her place and simply drank her glass of cocktail as she discussed with Primarina about the challenge that had transpired today.

The cathartic pleasure the fox felt when her prey was caught onto her trap was not describable by words alone. It was done. Interiorly, she had to thank Croagunk for this. His questionning had woken up a seed of desire in Mesprit. She could reconize that look with her eyes blinded by a fold. If she remembered correctly, in around 20 minutes, she would feel a growing need that would quickly unbearable. She was bound to ''deal'' with it in any way necessary. And she would be there, lurking in the shadows like the predator she was, to see it happen.

Mesprit felt...good? That cocktail Croagunk had recommended her to try out was delicious for something so simple. And that Ice was majestuous. Primarina really was the queen of liquors. She felt very pleasent, as if her body could feel everything more strongly. Smells, touches ects. But it was getting far too warm for her. It was better if she left the premices.

''Prima?'' She called her selkie friend.

''Yes dear?'' Asked the water type barkeeper.

''I...I think I am going to go, It's getting quite warm in here. I wish to walk to my place and profit from the cooler air outside.'' She said as she got up of her chair and stretched langishly.

Primarina could see that the embodiment of emotion was quite tipsy from the cocktail. Which was strange. The legendary Pokemon had built quite a good resistance to it. But it seemed that after all of these shots, even her was bound to gain some sort of tolerance. Beside, Latias wasn't there and Koko was probably asleep. She would have to trust the psychic legendary to be able to get home to her compound alone.

''Very well Mes. It was a pleasure to have you. Be careful on your way home however please.'' She asked the female host.

''Don't be such a worrywart. I'll be fine, honest. See you around.'' She said nonchalantly as she floated away and to the exit.

Primarina looked in her direction as she disappeared out of the Lounge.

''Worrywart?'' She repeated dubiously before shaking her head and continuing her managing of the lounge.

Just like a frozen ghost, the fox waited a few minutes before slipping away, just in case to keep her bases covered. With everyone here and her innate illusion ability, she could give the slip to the best security if she so wanted. Thankfully now there was no need for it. Her nose would easily be able to trail the tipsy little faerie.

''Now dance in the palm of my paw, you insolent Goddess...'' She muttered as she started trailing her at a distance

000

Victini had been on camp watch duty, that night. He had went in between the shacks and the different facilities to make sure everything was in order. He then had managed to find some time to teach the electric Mele Mele guardian a few things that would be important for the merge. As per their schedule, it was fast approaching and from his experience, the role of a co-host was quite vital. Now that he was done, the fire type bunny was walking in the forest, signing a catchy tune as his mood was nice and light. His life was finally looking up. He was recruited in a notorious photo brand company, his relationship with Mew had been rekindled, He had been allowed to work in a TPI like environment again and his therapy had been prodigious. Mesprit had become more than just his therapist, but his friend.

As his spirit wandered, thinking about the sweet embodiment of emotions, he didn't realize that his solitary walk in the forest was about to be quite more movy.

*THUD*

Quite quickly, Victini was on his butt, rubbing his head painfully. The shock had been quite light in the grand scheme of things, but, as the hit was unexpected, it hurt quite a bit.

''Can't you look where you're going, that's dangerous...'' groaned the victory Pokemon before he opened his eyes..and his breath almost stopped right there.

Cutely rubbing her head with her small hands, Mesprit was on her back, her eyes spiralling dizzily as she had been as unexpectant of his presence at the corner of that tree trail, making a collision unavoidable. But what enthralled Victini was not the fact that he had bumped into the one Pokemon he was thinking about.

...

...

It was that she was still so beautiful even in such an undignified state.

Shaking his head clear of such thoughts, the Victory Pokemon quickly made its way next to Mesprit. ''Oh my god Mes, i'm so sorry, are you okay?'' He said as he helped her up.

The Embodiment of emotion opened her eyes and smiled. Both Pokemon, for some reason, lost themselves into each other's eyes for a moment before Mesprit blinked a few times, as if recognizing who it was. Her reaction...was peculiar to say the least.

''Victiniiiiii!'' She shouted cheerily as she jumped on him for a hug. A very tight one at that.

Said Victini blushed hard, not at all expecting his friend to be that happy to see him and hug him like that. But, as he akwardly returned the hug, he couldn't help but think that it felt nice. The contact of their skin, the slight, happy nuzzle she was giving him, how nice she smelled... The Victory Pokemon interiorly wished that this moment never ended. Something about being in Mesprit's embrace felt great...yet was foreign. It was this odd dichotomy that ultimately made him let Mesprit go.

Mesprit, in her tipsy mind, whined softly when Victini let go. Hugs were nice, weren't they? But there was something about hugging Victini that had felt really good. She didn't know what it was, and she didn't care. Just being held this carefully had resonated in her soul. She gave Victini a wide smile that turned his knees into Jelly. It was good that he didn't need to walk and could fly with his rear wings.

Victini almost caught in fire, figuratively, of course, upon seeing that smile. It was there that the rest of the information that one hug had given him. With her nuzzling he was also able to distinct something quite important. First, as lovely as Mesprit was, under the clear light of the moonlight, Mesprit's cheeks were flushed. Her eyes were also slightly reddened, but not too much. She also seemed to have some trouble with her coordination, a thing not helped by their earlier collision for sure. In addition, as Mesprit asked Victini how he was doing, he realized that her breath was pretty fruity. He knew that smell, for he had abused the substance for years as a coping mechanism. Mesprit was drunk. And it wouldn't be a bad take to say that she was out of her mind. However, judging by her relatively good behavior, she was still holding on to her sanity, so she should be fine if he brought her home and made sure that she wouldn't hurt herself in the process.

''Well, i'm waiting...'' Said impatiently Mesprit, giving Victini an annoyed look that just looked too damn adorable.

''Ahem... Sorry about that Mes, I was just thinking about something. I am doing pretty well. You know, being a busy boy like usual.'' He commented as they resumed walking.

''It's okay. I can't be mad at my dashing little patient after all...'' She said cutely as she grabbed his arm.

Victini saw in that a confirmation of what he thought earlier. She was drunk. There was no way that Mesprit would act like this toward him ever, even when she was feeling playful.

''Are you okay Mes? You seem a bit...Moody...'' Asked timidly Victini as he held on to Mesprit arm supportively, making sure that she floated straight and not into two or three trees like she had almost done.

''*Hic* Y...yeah of course. Why wouldn't I be? I am just a little warm, that's all.'' She said cheerily as they continued walking down the forest trail.

''Yeah right. I'll walk you home alright. I am not leaving you alone like that.'' He offered protectively.

''Ohh.. how gallant. I hereby accept.'' She said in a fake haughty tone that made Victini blush redder than a tomato berry. Why must his therapist look so good when she was in reality in such a vulnerable state. The bunny felt a old itch make itself know. Knowing about Mesprit's power, the embodiment took a deep breath, making everything in his inner self work to keep him to a kind, neutral state. Now wasn't the time for Mesprit to figure out that his feelings toward her had been taking a very different path than professional friendship for quite a while now.

''Now tell me what got you so warm...'' He asked Mesprit, who kindly obliged.

Mesprit was feeling warmer and hotter by the second, was touched that someone was willing to listen to her. Croagunk sure had done so earlier, but there was so many people inside, so much noise. But now, with someone who had gained her trust just as she knew that this someone trusted her, it felt like she could say everything that had been bothering her tonight and even before.

''Oh...Vivi...'' She started before pouring her heart out. For the next 30 Minutes or so, as they drew closer and closer to Mesprit's compound, Victini was suddenly made privy of everything Mesprit lamented over. He learned that she felt so lonely at times she couldn't help but cry. He learned that she was jealous of ordinary Pokemon lives sometimes, as their absence of world scale duty allowed them to live much more experiences than she ever could. That she longed for a family and for the loving arms of a husband. A pokemon that wouldn't feel intimidated by her status, and that would love her for who she was as a Pokemon, and not as a Goddess bringer of emotions. How she was afraid that the games don't end up being too successful in the long run. How she was afraid that in the end, she couldn't save him. So on and so fort.

Victini felt saddened as well. It was a lot to take in. This beautiful, regal therapist of his. How often had he idolized her. Who wouldn't? Not many Pokemon could say that they had been seen, followed and treated by a member of the original 7. In addition, the fact that she had shared all of these things with him, he felt much closer to her. As they arrived to her lake, with her compound on the other side, the embodiment of Victory stopped. Only then, he realized that he had been holding Mesprit's hand in comfort. He sighed and gently cupped mesprit's face after drying the small tears that had appeared in the corner of her eyes.

''Listen to me Mes. You shouldn't be afraid of that. You're kind, nice looking and funny. I am sure the right guy will come along and be all of these things for you. And even if he never comes, which I am sure won't happen, your presence in the lives of others changes people. Look at the job you've done with me. You are awesome, Mes, and as long as you have your friends...you'll never be alone. So cheer up! Also, here's a water bottle. You said you were hot earlier but plunging into your lake would likely make you sick from the thermic shock. This is safer.'' He said happily as he handed her the bottle.

''Where did you get that?'' She asked, smiling tenderly at him.

''I have my ways...'' Said the embodiment of Victory, happy that Mesprit was smiling again. Tears just didn't suit this pretty face, he thought as he sighed in relief. No incidents, a happy Mesprit. What could go wrong?

As Mesprit finished to drink the water, letting a cute and satisfied ''Ahhh'' out once she was done, Victini brought her to the front of her compound.

Mesprit was feeling warm still, but this wasn't the same kind of warmth that she had been feeling. It was something else, something more...primal. Something more...intimate. She stared at Victini, studying him, her mind quickly coming to a conclusion that could potentially change the course of their history forever... But right now, who the hell cared about the consequences? She knew Victini after all and this was a golden opportunity. Interiorly, she locked on, forgetting everything else but focusing on that pulse she felt for someone so nice, so caring, so cheerful and honestly not bad looking either. The moment he would let his guard down, she would strike.

As Victini started at Mesprit, who was bathed in beautiful moonlight, he couldn't help but feel that the air was getting charged and distinctly, his instincts told him that he had to leave. By sheer willpower, he had quelled his more primal mind, who was far from indifferent to Mesprit's captivating charms. However, as she was in front of her compound, the Victory Pokemon felt that the air around Mesprit was changing rapidly. He had to leave or he could potentially do things he'd regret later or say something that would break Mesprit's mood. Both things he did NOT want to happen. So, acting as naturally as possible, Victini turned his back to Mesprit, wishing her a good night and to be careful before he walked toward the path leading to the square.

It happened pretty quickly. Victini just felt a tap behind his shoulder. The moment he turned toward Mesprit, as logically it could only have been her that had requested his attention, two things happened in quick succession. The first was that he felt that his entire being had caught in a raging fire hotter than his internal flames, the second was that suddenly, something hard was pressing against his back.

The sensation was intense. It was so intense that Victini sort of blacked out. When he came to, with a continuous, intense, electric and pleasurable shiver continuously making a circuit in his body. He wanted to talk but realized that he couldn't. Around his neck were arms, around his waists were tails. And soft, wet pink lips where on his, kissing him passionately. For a few seconds...as the lip lock continued, Victini melted into it. How many times had something like this happened? He couldn't count them anymore. But something about this happening felt so good, so different...and so stupidly wrong. He wasn't like that anymore. This wasn't happening and as much as his body wanted to keep it going, his mind finally snapped out of it and he pushed Mesprit away onto a random direction, right in front of him. Fortunately for the psychic type, it landed onto a soft surface, being her bed.

Victini was panting hard, trying desperately to regain his composure. What was that? Had that really happened? He couldn't be sure..but deep down he knew. His body was still shaking with how good that kiss had felt. He hadn't had any intimate contact of any sort for years, so he was pretty touch deprived. Only Mesprit's lullaby a few weeks before had been him being tenderly touched. This had felt too good, too different. What was happening? It was so intense he couldn't talk.

The moment he lifted his eyes, the vision he saw paralyzed him.

Mesprit was staring at him confidently, predatorily. The moonlight, draping her like a veil of pure mysticism, seemed to enhance her beauty even more. it was like she knew exactly how Victini felt about her, about her personality, about her beauty, about her desires. And speaking of her desires, they were now burning like a wild fire in the pit of her stomach. It screamed at her to finally break the barrier she had been curious about for eons. She knew he would be willing, How could he not, after such an intense kiss. She could practically feel his barriers breaking, his lust now filling the empty vessels. It was pretty simple in reality. She wanted him. and He wanted her. If he didn't, then she would make him want her. She needed not to wait. Now was the time to take. She was a goddess after all, so why wouldn't she just take was she liked? Wasn't he a perfect candidate? Wasn't he attracted by her? Wasn't he notorious for being a womanizer? Surely, he could satisfy her desires and her curiosity.

Victini's blood was boiling. His carefully maintained neutral but kind disposition had been stripped bare by Mesprit's kiss. How could she kiss this good with her utter lack of experience? Victini might have a conscience now, which was the reason he wasn't already doing the wildest things with her, but he also had been stripped bare. He was lusting after her. The physical desire to go back there and indulge in another make out session was so strong it hurt. But this was wrong. He knew this was wrong. Mesprit wasn't herself. So he didn't move. He was trying to find the control of his voice back, but to no avail.

Mesprit smiled at this, knowing that now, he only needed a few more pushes to be hers. So she would better get to work. She had felt it the moment she had kissed him. The cute bud of tender Love and Care Victini had tried to conceal deep within his heart. Probably out of fear or respect. She also saw the proverbial seed of attraction in his heart. Love, Care and Attraction. He was the perfect candidate to finally, at long last, know what it was like. Mesprit smiled internally. He was perfect for this. She would turn his emotions into a raging lust. There was nothing he could do to stop her. She was the being of emotion after all, she was confident she could make him do whatever she wanted him to do. At least, she sure felt like she could now, and her desires were geared toward one simple request.

''Vivi, I have another request... And listen very carefully, because it's important...'' She purred as she placed herself on her bed, staring straight at him with glowing yellow eyes and tails that caught the moonlight, shining eerily.

Her voice dropped a few octave, becoming warm, dominating, decadently seductive.

''I want you Victini. I know you want me. Come here and let us have a night of passion together.'' She said seductively, smiling like she had already won.

Who could blame her? Victini looked just about to keel over in shock. Did Mesprit just straight up invite him to sleep with her? There was no way this was real. Because there was no way of this actually happening anywhere else but in his craziest fantasies, Victini refused to move. He repeated in his mind, like a mantra as he couldn't talk.

''You can't. You can't, You can't''

Mesprit purred. It seemed that she had taught him well, as he wasn't giving him. Such feat aroused her even more, as she knew full well that the old Victini would have already had lost to her the moment she had kissed him. In her drunk, feverish mind, Victini was a mean to an end, a prey. She was competitive, so she would get him. The fact that the door was opened next to him but he hadn't moved was everything she needed to know. She was living alone in her compound, so there was no risk of anyone walking in. The thrill of the entire situation was acting like the most delectable of aphrodisiac, making her want him even more. Just imagining what he could be doing to her once she finally breaks him was water inducing, to say the least.

''I didn't tell you this earlier, at least not explicitly. So I will now. For a long time now, I have been intrigued by the topic of charnal passion. I am a womon too you know, and Arceus did not make us devoid of any desire. The needs do come, but I always was more preoccupated by my duties to even think of indulging in such endeavors...but now, this is different. I can't take it anymore Vivi. I need to know how it feels..I need to qwell that burning desire. You are the one priviledged to finally quench my thirst. You should be honored. Stop asking yourself questions and come, my friend.'' She revealed as her form shimmered. It was as if she had started to shine from within.

To Victini, if she had been beautiful to him before, now, she was practically a living incarnation of the concept of beauty. His heart felt like it was about to pound out. his thoat dried faster than water in the face of Primal Groudon. Everything around him might as well had ceased to exist. He felt as if his inhibitions were forcibly lowered by some unseen force. His own lust was rising far too rapidly for his mind to keep up, and almost in a zombie like pace, made a few steps forward. Mesprit smiled at this, he was losing. In his mind, Victini kept screaming the same mantra.

''You can't. You can't, You can't, YOU CAN'T!''

It worked. Victini stopped, a painful look on his face as his body rebelled against his mind. What was he waiting for? The hottest, kindest, willingliest Pokemon was calling for him. Why on Arceus's green earth would he refuse?

''Because she isn't herself. This is not was she really wants. This is not what you really want.'' Said his willpower to himself. As such, Victini, who didn't want to do something that neither he or Mesprit really wanted, stopped and started doing some step backs. This impossibly attractive and seductive entity couldn't have really been Mesprit. Couldn't it be?

As if she was sensing is very thoughts, and surprised that he hadn't break from witnessing her combination of Attract, Charm and Captivate, the embodiment of emotion continued her assault, interiorly smiling and relishing the challenge.

''Of course I am myself. You know I want this. You know you want this, just look at you. You are sweating, I can tell your throat is dry because you can't talk. You can barely handle my voice, that sweet, singsong voice that made you feel so good before, can you Vivi?'' She said in her soft, lulling tone.

Victini's ears and subsequently entire body relaxed. How could he forget this tone. Mesprit's signing voice was so soothing that he could listen to her speak for hours with that tone and he would listen to her. It was a tone that could save the world better than Melody's. It was a tone that got him to relax and got him to believe everything that She would say. He trusted her..he needed her...her wanted her...

''NO! This isn't right. Don't you dare listen to her voice. Listen to her words. Would she really say that? Would she really push you like this?'' Asked his conscience, working overtime to keep Victini grounded and focused, but it was quickly becoming a losing battle.

The fire bunny quickly deduced that indeed, she wouldn't say that. But...what if. He had felt so good listening to that voice and falling asleep to it had been supreme bliss. Could he really not trust the one to whom that voice belonged to?''

''Of course you can trust me Vivi. You love the sound of my voice. My lullaby voice, my soft voice. You want to hear it closer don't you? Stop thinking about all of this and just come here already. Why are you prolonging your suffering? Why are you allowing me to suffer? Surely you care about me, don't you?'' She purred and sang at the same time. It would have been an odd combination, but to victini, it felt like the whispers from heaven.

At that point, Victini felt like he was homerus in the odyssey, with Mesprit being the bewitching siren. Her voice sounded so good to his ear he made some more steps toward her, wanting so desperately to hear that voice up close, lay his head onto her chest and listen all night her voice singing melodies of the past and future into his ear after he had claimed her for himself. How glorious would that be, how magnificent and lovely would that be...

''How creepy and bad it would be, yes. You have seen her earlier. She could barely stand on her feet. You remember the horrible taste a similar situation had left in your mouth? Do you want to go through that again? You don't, so don't you dare give in, you horny piece of rotten Bronzong.'' shouted his conscience. As such, Victini stopped walking toward her again. But didn't take any step back this time.

Mesprit smiled, as it meant that he was weakening. She was almost there. She almost had him. The heat was getting progressively unbearable. She didn't want to defile herself in front of him like she had heard some females do near her lake. It was a race against time, but she wanted to keep her dignity intact. He would yield and take her, not the opposite.

In that spirit, Mesprit sang for a little while, her signing voice sublime. Victini's mind felt like melting into putty with how good she sounded. It was unbearable, he wanted to listen to it for the rest of his life, if needed. The Psychic type Goddess was signing about promises of happiness and pleasure the likes of which no pokemon had enjoyed. It was horribly cliché yet equally as effective, as Victini could attest which his entire body being drawn to Mesprit like a moth would be drawn to a flame.

Once her song was over, Mesprit immediately combo-ed. She was ruthless and didn't let up one bit.

''Didn't you already had this happen to you multiple times? Where a womon had drank a little alcohol and jumped on you like a little horny mightyena? Didn't you show her the seven colors of the rainbow that night? These are things you told me, yourself. Why don't you show me those colors, Victini? Why are you hesitating now? Because I am your therapist? Do you think it matters now Vivi. It doesn't. Right now, I am not your therapist. I am not your boss. I am a female Pokemon who wants attention. Your attention. Just let go of that stupid conscience i gave you and do me. Just end both of ours suffering. You will be compensated handsomely if you do a good job.'' She promised to him, augmenting the strength of he appeal by several level.

Victini was so lost in his internal battle that he didn't even register the barb Mesprit had sent him. All that mattered was the fact that his desire to shut Mesprit up and make her scream and his desire to stay true to the immense work on himself that he had done up to this point were having probably the biggest fight of the history of Pokemonkind, maybe barring the great wars of the past of the great Titanomachia involving the forces of natures themselves.

However, no matter how much his entire body ached for her touch, his feets wouldn't move. His wings wouldn't flap. She was the prettiest thing he had ever seen. But she wasn't his to touch. No! No! No!

Mesprit was growing impatient now, but still very much desiring of him doing her. She finally realized that the reason why she hadn't broken him yet was that his willpower was stronger than his lust. Just by looking at him and his emotions, she could tell that his lust for her would probably not go any higher. He wanted her so much he was physically hurting. His loins must have felt like liquid lava by now. But as long as his willpower would remain higher, she would be stuck in this stalemate, unfulfilled. So the only logical thing was that she had to lower his willpower by any means necessary. Mesprit was fascinated by how clear her mind was. It made so much sense and as a now relatively experienced therapist, she had just the thing.

Victini squinted his eyes as Mesprit's tail started glowing. Her tails then slowly started waving, forming a distinct patterns as she kept feeding him honeyed words. Very quickly, Victini realized that he had trouble hearing his conscience talking to him. It felt so much better to listen to Mesprit's sweet voice than to the harsh voice of his conscience rebuking him for not having left the room, the compound and possibly the island by now before he did something he would regret.

Mesprit purred upon seeing all of the struggle Victini was currently going through. She had to break him now. She knew the moment that she had managed to lull him to sleep that Victini was highly suggestible by people he trusted the most, especially if they were female. There was no way he could resist her hypnotic tail floating around in a pattern that captivated him. She then opened her arms to him, and Victini, as if compelled by an unseen force, gently started to float toward her slowly.

Unable to contain her joy and drunken disdain, she started washing her mouth on him. saying things every time his conscience managed to make him resist her being dragged into her arms:

"What is wrong into indulging into the best this world has to offer?"

"Don't you want to be loved, cared for? Give in, and I'll give all of that to you."

''All of those other bitches you fucked have nothing on me. And you'd have the be my first, doesn't that mean anything for you?"

"You know i am your last chance, with your history nobody wants you, nobody is willing to be with you. Nobody but me. I will be yours if you just stop being stubborn.''

Every time, Victini would rationalize it as Mesprit being right and Mesprit going best. His mind was tired of defending itself. He wanted to feel good. He wanted her. He wanted to love her. To give her everything she wanted. She needed him. This feeling in particular almost shattered his resolve completely. She had helped him out on his darkest times. How could he not repay the favor. How could he be so selfish.

When Mesprit mentioned that she would give him a family, she would gift him kids. They could be together and happy forever if he give in. Victini let go.

He stared into Mesprit's eyes and suddenly, he could see a vision. They were on a sun kissed clearing. Looking down, he saw that Mesprit was laying against his chest and he had his arms around her. She looked so happy, so peaceful and honestly, he felt it as well. Around them, a few small little bunnies and fairies were playing under his watchful eyes. It almost brought tears to Victini's eyes. One child like Mesprit climbed on his back and nuzzled his cheek. It was so idyllic. it was all that he needed, after so much suffering and anguish.

''This is what I feel...this is what I want. I don't just like...Mesprit...I...I might be in love with her...'' Victini realized with stupor and wonder.

Victini's conscience knew that now was his only chance. He was also Victini. He was the moral part of him that had finally been awoken by Mesprit herself. And now, he would save him from himself.

Victini gasped as the vision quickly changed into something out of his most sordid nightmare. The sky turned black. Quickly, rain started to fall. In less time than it took to blink an eye, The entire vision was turned on its head and instead he saw Mesprit looking at him with a look of pure loathing, Her brothers looking at him coldly, making him feel as if he was staring at the face of death itself. Mew and Meloetta were looking at him with such disappointment that it destroyed his heart. Right after this, a vision of him appeared, staring at him.

''Should you give in...this is your future. Is this what you want, Victini? Are those 15 seconds of glory worth throwing all of your progress away as well as all of your future?''

Back in the room plane of reality, Victini had stopped struggling, deeply staring In Mesprit's eyes, a soft smile on his face. The pink fairy was exultant as the heat and pulsing she felt almost brought her to the point of no return. She needed to break him soon before the raging need made her turn feral and simply jump on Victini herself. She would be satisfied, but would feel bad after it and she knew. She needed him to break. But he was so close though, he was so close to her open arms that she could almost touch him.

''You are almost there. All you have to do, is to answer Yes at this question and submit to me. It's so simple, my dear Vivi. You want me, you want to submit to me, you want to make me yours, you want to please me. Isn't this what you want, Victini?'' She asked as her outstretched hands wrapped themselves around his neck. She shivered deliciously when he felt Victini's paws brush around her waist. She closed her eyes, ready to kiss him once more, knowing that he would fall the instant they would kiss.

Victini felt an immense wave of revolt take him over. His conscience had finally gotten through to him. He had stronger, deeper more meaningful feelings for Mesprit than just wanting to do her. He couldn't give in, even if it was Mesprit herself that was saying those things. That was inviting him. She was not herself. How could he had gotten so close to throw all of his life way for this. Victini opened his eyes, and, despite how inviting she looked, his resolve now ironclad, shouted!

''NO!''

Violently, using his now unlocked infinity energy, Victini overrode his primal Instinct's hold on his body and launched himself backward, breaking Mesprit's hold on him.

His throat was aching, as if that shout had sapped all of his remaining energy. But his willpower and survival instinct quickly boosted him with much needed adrenaline, as he floated up, groaning. And when he did, what he saw didn't frighten him.

...

...

It terrified him.

Mesprit also had risen, her once brilliant, golden eyes were now red. Her fury was so great Victini could have sworn he saw the windows of her room freeze. She silently stared at him for a good minute and Terrorized by that glacial stare, Victini did not move either. However, the moment Mesprit corked her tail back. Victini's infinity energy boosted survival instincts bolted him out. In a flash he was out of the door, slamming it behind him and psychically sealing it off as well as erecting an invisible barrier around the entire compound to trap Mesprit in her room and also covered said room in said barrier to protect the furniture that was inside. He closed his eyes shut as for the next 45 Minutes, He had to endure Mesprit unleashing divine wrath on the door. Victini, holding the fort, was forced to endure 45 minutes of constant reminder of how much of a scum he had been and how much of a weak man he was for ignoring the need of someone who had waited eons for a moment like this. Victini never though he could go this low. He might had known that it was just her needs and alcohol talking. He might have known that she didn't mean what she was saying, but it still hurt him gravely that she was the one to say that.

Eventually, Her struggles grew weaker and weaker, as the cocktail's effect overtook her mind. Her brain, despite being strong, couldn't handle all of this expansion of energy and emotions without having to recover...and it was a drained Mesprit that finally passed out in front of her door, crying herself to sleep over a missed opportunity to finally know happiness.

When Victini heard light snoring from the other side of the door...He collapsed, numb and shocked. He only then realized that his therapist and friend had tried to do him and then had essentially reduced his self esteem to pure nothingness. He didn't know how he managed to say no to her but he knew two things...

One. He loved Mesprit.

Two. He needed to get away from here as fast as possible.

Mew was in his studio apartment, watching a game between the Giants and the Thunders. It was a great baseball game. He had decided to move to an apartment complex not too far from her girlfriend's next concert place. They would stay there for a while so there was no harm. His cellphone rang.

''Hello, Mew at the phone.'' He answered cheerily.

However, when he heard the voice of the one talking, every single hair of his body stood up as his blood froze. Only his cat like reflexes stopped him from dropping his phone.

Shaking, barely able to hold the phone properly, he replied.

''I'm sorry...can...can you r..repeat that?'' He asked shakily, quickly praying Arceus that he had heard wrong.

A monotone, dead inside voice devoid of all warmth replied. It was as if it was a robot, not a person who was talking.

''Victini died, come pick his body up...''

Silent like a shadow until the whole thing had concluded, a Fox was staring at the compound. Substitute was a broken move. She could never have imagined this. To be able to slip with her camera and record what she had seen incognito was a feat. But this was so, so, so much more than she would have ever dreamed getting.

''When I release that, her life will be finished. But now, I am going to go back to Wartotle, and Break. His. Hips. That was far too hot. I can't even think straight...'' She muttered with a pleased grin on her face as she returned to her shack and slipped into Wartortle room. The turtle opened his eyes, as he was sleeping and saw two purple eyes stare down at him. Before he had a chance to scream in fright, The fox had kissed him.
