It has been a busy morning for the Whitebeard pirates with some rookies attacking their territories, and some others attacking the main ship which her opinion was stupid. The sea knew that their pirate crew was at the top, but people might underestimate how much stronger they were.

"We know you're up there, Whitebeard! I'm here to take your head!" a man with a brown captain's jacket yelled, "I'll take care of them" Oriana volunteered and jumped to their ship. When they saw her, they started laughing, "Sending a girl, Whitebeard? You must be joking!"

"I'm more than enough to beat small fries!" Oriana cracked her fingers and started beating them all at once. After she knocked them out, she used some time to search for some food, but instead, she found a big bag of treasure.

Oriana was carrying it outside when someone must have woken up.

"Oi, you can't take our treasure!" someone yelled as she was about to leave their ship, "And who's going to stop me, you?" She laughed and jumped back over to the Moby Dick. Oriana could feel his frustration, but it was his own fault for attacking them.

The crew was happy with her findings. Oriana went over to her father and Thatch who was talking about something with someone she wasn't supposed to see on this ship, "Oh, Oriana have you met Jinbei?" the commander asked, "You, what are you doing here?" his eyes widened.

"I live here. What about you, Shichibukai?" she grinned at him, "Wait, you two know each other?" Thatch looked between the two. "Not officially but what is a marine doing here?" the Fishman had a hard time understanding. Whitebeard and Thatch looked confused, "What? Why do you think she's a marine?"

Oriana started laughing as all eyes were on her, "I met Jinbei in Marineford when I was on my way here. I'm Oriana, the daughter of Whitebeard by the way. So, what are you doing here?" she still hasn't gotten an answer.

"You the one I've heard rumors about. I come here from time to time because I'm grateful to Mr. Pops" he managed to explain after he got off his shock. Whitebeard changed the topic when he asked about a certain rookie. "I don't know him that well, but he got a logia fire fruit," he said before leaving soon after.

"Who are you talking about?" Oriana finally asked Thatch, and he handed her the newspaper about Ace, "I have seen you looking at him," he grinned, "What can I say I'm a fan" she smirked, "And you like that pretty face of his" Thatch teased.

"I love him actually!" that caught the cook off guard. "I- you can't love him. You don't even know him, Oria" the commander said in disbelief, "I do know him, Thatchie" she was looking at the picture, "You can't know anybody just by reading about them."

She had planned on telling them about him, but a surprise would work better. When the time came to reunite with Ace or rather fire fist as his new emphasis was now. A great name actually, they would be totally shocked. Oriana just hummed as the older pirate walked away.

But at some point, after he entered the New World, she lost knowledge of his whereabouts. Where was he and what was he doing? Oriana sighed, 'Well, news about him will soon come. He doesn't live life boringly'.

The Moby Dick was approaching an island, but once they docked a crowd was there to welcome them. Oriana found it awkward that it only happened when they were on their turf, but it was still hard to get used to it.

When they disembark the ship people cheered on them and some even got flowers. Oriana just walked past them, and a group of girls stood behind them waiting for someone. She was more interested in exploring the island.

The small town looked empty or so she thought.

Oriana heard a voice yelling something not that far from her. She ended up at a small shed and when she opened the door, she came face to face with a girl her age, "Are you okay?" she asked the stranger, "Yeah, thank you!" she hugged her before quickly leaving.

Winter Blaze just shrugged, then continued walking through the city and have even done some shopping for clothes. Oriana found a place to eat where her crewmates were drinking and gambling their money away, "Oria, come and join us!" Rakuyo yelled, "I'm hungry, I'll come later!" she said back.

The commander gave her a thumbs up and got back to the game.

The bags were placed on the floor close to her legs.

While she was waiting for the food, she pulled her drawing book up and started drawing her crewmates from a distance when someone came and stood next to her, "Hi, can I sit here?" the girl from before asked. "Yeah, sure" Oriana answered.

"Thanks for helping me back then," she said a little shy, "You already thanked me," Winter Blaze said still focusing on her work. "Yeah, I know" she looked uneasy. "Are you okay?" Oriana asked, "You already asked me that," she used her own line against her.

Oriana just smiled a little, "Okay, let me ask you something else. Who locked you in there?"

The girl sighed, "The mayor's daughter and her minions. I wanted to meet someone on Whitebeard's ship, but they ruined that for me!" she said a bit angrily. "Uh, do you have a crush on the commanders?" that got her much more interested.

"Not a crush on a commander, but a great admiration for someone else" she smiled, "Yeah, I know what you mean. I have a high view of Whitebeard too" Oriana eyes soften. "I'm grateful to Whitebeard for protecting this island, but the one I admire is-"

But before she answered a group of girls came over to them, "Hahaha, I see you finally managed to get out" the blond girl laughed, "You!" the one she saved got up to glare at her. Oriana raised her eyebrow while looking amused at them.

They started arguing and Oriana watched them until her food came, "Oi, go fight over there, I want to eat this in peace" she waved her hand to get them away. "And who are you?" the same blond girl asked, "Who are you?" Oriana fired back.

"I'm the mayor's daughter-"

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean it. I actually don't care," Oriana said between bites. The blond girl said something, but she didn't care to listen. "Hello, there. I see you made some friends" Izo grinned. "We are not friends," the blond said at the same time as Oriana.

"You're the 16th division commander Izo!" the girl she found in the shed said. "Yeah, that's me" he smiled a little. "I've always wanted to meet Winter Blaze. Do you know where I can find her?" she desperately asked.

Oriana and Izo's eyes met, "The one you were talking about was Winter Blaze?" she found herself getting interested. "Yes! She is so cool and so beautiful!" the girl took a piece of paper out of her jacket with a picture of Oriana's face or her other form's face.

"I want to meet her more! Is she on the ship or something because we didn't see her leaving the ship" the mayor's daughter stood in front of the first girl? Both Oriana and Izo tried so hard not to laugh but these girls made that really impossible and the two burst out laughing.

Their crewmates heard them from a distance, "What's wrong, you two?" Vista asked as he approached them, "They are looking for Winter Blaze" Oriana said in between laughter. "But you're Winter Blaze, Oriana" the commander sounded confused.

Oriana made sure to look at their reaction to the small reveal.

The girls' jaws dropped, and their eyes almost popped. The shed girl was the first to overcome her shock as she stood in front of her, "Are you really Winter Blaze?" she looked skeptical, "You look so different from your bounty poster"

The teenage pirate, "Actually, he was just joking. I'm no one special" she was about to leave when Izo held on to her arm, "Where are you going?" he raised an eyebrow. "I'm-" she pointed to the side and was about to leave but he held her back.

"Come on, little one. They are your fans. That's no way to treat people" the samurai reasoned.

Oriana was struggling but, in the end, gave in. She turned to the girls and started transforming, "Do I look like her now?" she asked. They just stared at her with their eyes popping out, "It really is her, Cami!" one of the minions said.

"Yeah. Now, may I go?" she asked her samurai crewmate. "Yes," Izo simply answered. Oriana went past them in order to find a place to draw this island. She walked around but ended up sitting on top of some building.

After about 15 minutes she felt someone approaching, "I'm in the middle of something here" Oriana said to one of her fans, "I'm sorry, but I can't believe I meeting one of my idols." she was so excited, but Winter Blaze cut her off.

"I'm a pirate and I love being a pirate. I get to do whatever I want rather its plunder, cheating or killing. Normal people always distance themselves from that not idolizing it" Oriana tried to explain her discomfort in having fans, "It's so strange to go from being hunted to whatever you feel"

"I get that. This island used to be affiliated with the government until one day we couldn't pay the heavenly tribute anymore. They just let us fetch for ourselves and open for attacks from all sides. Then one day came a strong pirate that made them afraid of his very presence" she smiled and looked at Oriana only to find out she was too busy drawing.

"Hmm, what?" Oriana asked when she noticed the girl staring at her. "No nothing" she answered.

Oriana might have given her the idea that she wasn't listening to what she said but the teenage pirate heard the first part of it. When she started talking about the government was the point, she stopped listening to whatever she was saying.

The girl was watching while Oriana was drawing, "What's your name?" she suddenly asked, "I'm Lina" the girl smiled. "That's an interesting name."

The two just sat there for a little while.

The silence between them was getting uncomfortable, "Alright, let's go" Oriana closed her book and turned to her, "Where are we going?" Lina asked excitedly, "On a small adventure" she grinned.

The two went down from the building, as they went into the town. Oriana smiled brightly at the sight of the beautiful culture. The people were dancing happily around without a care in the world.

"Oi, Lea, what's going on?" Oriana asked, "Lina, but it's a party to welcome our heroes!" she answered. "And I can smell something amazing!" the pirate went over to wherever that was coming from.

She came to a small stool that was selling perfumes, "I want your most popular one!" Oriana said without hesitation. "Well, I just sold the last one, dear," the older woman said as she pointed to the mayor's daughter from before.

"Winter Blaze! If you want this I can totally give it to you!" the girl said before holding up her hand, "If you give me a tour of your ship!" she smiled innocently. "So, you're going to use the only thing I want to get something you want?" Oriana glared.

"Yeah..." she answered a bit nervously. "As a pirate, I can just take that from you," Oriana said which scared her. "Alright" Oriana shrugged after five seconds, and she walked past her, "Are you coming?" she asked without turning, "You mean right now?"

Oriana nodded, but on the way to the Moby the minions wanted to follow too, "You two can't come" she said, "Why not" the mayor's daughter asked, "I had a deal with you not them." she coldly responded.

The blond tried to protest but Oriana stopped her and explained that there was nothing she wanted from them. In the end, they accepted, as she went up with Oriana, "Was there a reason you wanted to see our ship?"

"I... I want to see the world" the girl answered more vulnerably. It was like she turn into a different person. Oriana's face showed her annoyance, "I'm going to have to stop you right there" she held up her hand.

The girl looked confused, "What's wrong?" she didn't understand, "The whole sad story thing is just an excuse for people to take pity on you" Oriana rolled her eyes, "It would have been enough to say you were a fan"

"I'm that too" she tried to play it off cool.

Oriana showed her different places around the ship as well as her father's throne.

Once she was satisfied with her small tour and they were about to leave, "What are you doing so early back? And who's your friend?" a certain commander asked, "We were just leaving, Thatchie!" she tried to push past him.

Thatch stopped them and convince them to at least get a drink with him before leaving. Oriana sighed, ready to accept anything at this point, "Alright, only a small one and only for you!"

The commander came with the drinks, "One for Oria, and one for..." "Camila" the girl quickly answered with a smile. Thatch sat next to them and started telling them funny stories. Camila was laughing at the things he was saying and also touching his arm along with batting her eyelashes, "He's too old for you" Oriana voiced.

"What? Where did that come from, Oria?" he questioned, "She obviously likes you, but maybe for the wrong intention" she looked suspiciously at her 'guest'. "What do you mean?" he had a hard time understanding.

"My little guest here wants to set sail and might use you to force herself onboard" she leaned back while watching her reaction "I know I'm a deal, but everyone knows my heart belongs to the sea!" the commander answered. "I know that, but what better story is there than following the pirate you love to sea"

The two pirates looked at the girl but her face was filled with tears, "I'm sorry, but commander Thatch is... hmm. He is..." the girl was struggling to find words to describe him. "Let me guess, you probably had a fallout with your daddy and now you're trying to worry him by 'disappearing'"

Camila's face suddenly changed to an annoyed one, "He didn't want to expel that girl from the village, so I'm going to disappear instead" she had the nerve to say. Oriana glared at her, "Your father loves you and because of such a small thing you want to break his heart?"

She nodded without shame.

"Get off my ship" she pointed to the island, "What did you say?" Oriana felt her anger rise, "Get your spoil ass off my ship before I throw you out myself!"

Camila quickly got up and left the ship as Oriana watched her, "I can't believe it!" she heard Thatch say from behind, "I know, a girl like that underestimates her father but still get to stay with him, while I was separated from mine for seventeen years!" she felt herself getting emotional.

"I'm sorry, Oria, I can't believe I forgot about that!" Thatchie put a hand on her shoulder, "It's alright, wait... when you said you can't believe it what did you mean?" she raised an eyebrow. "It doesn't matter now" he leaned onto her head.

He couldn't tell her that he couldn't believe that Camila didn't actually have a crush on him as he thought.

A few months ago, they got the news that someone burned down their flag on Fishman island. Now, the same someone was fighting Jinbei on one of their islands relatively close to their current location. Someone else even had the nerve to attack their territories.

It was a really cowardly move.

Whitebeard send some of the commanders when the pirate Doma attacked. While she stayed with the captain to face the new rookie pirate. Oriana was curious enough to see what kind of pirate made her father want to go himself.

So, while they were busy Oriana took this chance to invade the kitchen before Thatch returned. When she was done stuffing herself, she went out to the deck again, but the fight had just ended a few minutes ago, "Oi, what happened to the captain"

"Pops beat him up and we took him into one of the rooms to recover" Jozu answered. Oriana stood by him, Thatch, and Marco when they saw a small group charging at them, "Give our captain back!" Oriana jumped off the ship, "I'll handle them!"

"You're Oriana," a guy with blue hair and a mask said, "How do you know my name?" she raised an eyebrow, "Our captain told us not to fight you. No matter what" he answered. "Stop that! You guys burned down our flag!" she said and punched him in the face.

She kicked the rest of the crew's butts too.

"Get them up here, little one!" Marco yelled from the rail, "What, why?" she looked at him, "We want their captain to join us, but we can't exclude his crew" the blond reasoned. Oriana sighed as she used her powers to throw them up there.

Oriana woke up the next morning and found out that the rookie attacked her father while he slept. She felt herself getting annoyed as she went over to her father, happy to see he was completely unharmed, but there was something from last night that she couldn't forget.

Who was that captain that told his crew not to fight her? Her thoughts were interrupted by a shadowy figure coming behind her father. Oriana was about to knock him out, but her father raised his hand and hit him away like a fly into the ocean.

That gave Oriana time to see the one attacking her father. It made sense that someone would tell his crew not to fight her, because that someone was her brother. "He can't swim. Somebody get him"

"I'll do it" she used her powers to throw him out of the water and used a little wind to slam him hard onto the deck. Oriana gave him a few seconds to let him get control of his breathing. When he tried to sit up, she used her foot to slam him down again.

Some of her crewmates started to worry a little but Oriana was more focused on the man with her foot on his back, "What do you think you're doing, Ace!" she almost yelled. He reacted to his name and paused for a second before turning to her, "Oria?" he asked as if he didn't expect her to be there.

The pirates started gathering around them – Did they know each other?

"What the hell are you thinking when you attack my father!" she repeated as her eyes were fiery red. "It doesn't concern you. It's a fight between pirate captains. So, stay out of it" he tried to play tough as he said that, but Oriana knew him well enough to see the façade behind it.

"Idiot, what if your father was alive and I wanted to kill him!" she smacked him over the head. "Go ahead, I'll even help you kill that bastard!" Ace got heated up too. "Oria, what's going on?" a confused Thatch asked while the two were up at each other's faces.

"This guy is trying to kill pops!" she hissed, "We get that, but if it were any other pirate you wouldn't care," Marco said this time, "I only care if he and one other person outside the crew does it," she stopped the urge to hit him again.

"He can't beat pops anyways, so, why do you care?" the commander cook asked, "Because, this moron is my brother!" she said as she held him up by his shirt, "But that will change if you don't get a grip!" Oriana gave him a death glare.

The entire crew was shocked by the news.

Oriana knew Ace wanted a spot at the top and wanted to be infamous with a name of his own. It was obvious that he targeted her father because he was the strongest. That and the fact that Whitebeard was Roger's rival.

For some reason, Ace didn't like his father. More accurately Ace hated Roger for whatever reason. It was heartbreaking to see how that had affected his life to the point he would doubt his whole existence.

Whitebeard wanted Ace to join their crew and she had nothing against that, but she knew that meant that he would have to accept her crew as his family and captain as his father. Oriana was sure that her father could charm his way into Ace's heart.

The question was how long was it going to take?

"You know what, I'm going to forgive you this one time. Remember next time I won't go easy on you!" Oriana warned. The one that meant most to her in the world was the captain and father, if Ace kept attacking him, it would surely ruin their bond.

Oriana hooked her arm with his and dragged him close to Whitebeard's chair, "Despite our reunion I really am happy to see you, Ace" she laid her head on his shoulder and she felt his head on top of hers, "So, tell me about your adventures so far. I heard you refused to join the shichibukais!"

Ace's smile lit up with pride as he told her about how he got his devil fruit, about meeting Shanks, and how he left Luffy as the only one remaining.

She laughed so much that she could hardly breathe, "You got trapped on an island in East Blue for over a week. When you got hungry you found a weird-looking fruit that you thought was poisonous but still ate it. Then suddenly you were on fire and ran into the ocean and almost drown." He had the nerve to call Luffy stupid.

"Shut up" he looked embarrassed. Whitebeard observed the two carefully and had a big smile on his face. He was happy to know that his daughter had made a friend even though she said that he was her brother.

"So, how did you two meet?" Haruta asked curiously as he sat next to them, "This moron's crazy grandpa was the reason." She pointed at Ace.

"Damn that old man took my little sunshine away. So, I followed them up to the mountains. That was the place this guy lived, and it was a rocky start but in the end, he became my second favorite brother" she said while clapping his back.

"I'm second?" Ace raised an eyebrow, "You were third but got promoted after what happened to my former second" she smiled at his reaction of disbelief. "Oh, speaking of grandpa. I met him a while after setting sail and he almost got me to join the Marines" the pirate girl laughed which confused the other pirates.

"Poor thing. I've managed to avoid him so far" he said smirking. "Lucky" she pouted.

All of the Whitebeard currently had the same thought, 'So, this is one of the people their little Winter Blaze spent her time away from them with'

"Was he the one who begged you to stay?" Izo whispered to her, "No, it was his little brother, but he was one of the reasons I stayed for so long," she smiled at the thought of her little sunshine.

The two talked for a while then Ace went to look for his crew but before he left, "Ace" she had something to tell him, "Do you remember when we had the dream of us being on the same crew?" she asked, "Yeah, why, are you going to join my crew?" he looked skeptical.

"No, you are going to join my crew" she gave him one of her smirks. He just rolled his eyes and walked away without saying anything.

As time passed by Ace had been trying to attack her father every day. Sometimes even multiple times a day. Oriana had to be honest, it was really getting annoying. Every time he came near her captain with bad intentions, she would kick him to the ground.

She had hoped that he would give in by now, but it almost seemed hopeless.

It had been two months since he came on board. She found him unconscious in the infirmary, "Seriously, what are you doing, Ace?" she felt her getting soft and ran her fingers through his hair. She had the urge to punch him for being that stupid but that would further injure him.

Suddenly she heard footsteps approaching, "He's going to be alright" she saw it was one of Ace's crewmates with the mask, "I know, he's annoyingly persistent," she said with a small smile. "You too seem really close," it wasn't a question.

"He is my brother. What about you, why did you decide to follow his recklessness?" she asked as she took a deep breath, "He saved me and was the first one to believe in me. I owe him my life" he clearly meant every word.

"Ace is lucky to have you…" she stopped for a second, "Masked Deuce and I'm the lucky one" he answered humbly. "Alright Masked Deuce. Take care of him for me. Be his rational voice and never betray him" Oriana said, "There's no way!"

Deuce left the two alone. Oriana put her forehead on his head before closing her eyes, "There's a thin line between strong-willed and stubborn. I hate seeing you like this. Just join my crew, please!" she said almost whispering the last part.
