Oriana got down from the duck and it ran off somewhere. She had hoped the extra trip would be more exciting like maybe discovering a national secret. The female pirate was walking around the old city and there was clearly a long history.

Suddenly people started ridding into the city, "Oi, girl, get out of the way!" a guy yelled from the distance, but Oriana's thoughts were on Vivi's failure to speak and prevent them from entering the city as she planned.

Then again, Oriana knew it wasn't going to be that easy to stop the war.

When civil war broke out people would charge toward the royal castle to stop the king in whatever the people were unhappy with. Oriana gazed around to find the highest building which was usually where the royal family lived.

Overlooking the people.

Once she reached the castle, she found a lot of guards outside the port. Oriana just intended to walk past them, but someone stood in her way, "Oi, stand back!" a man was holding a weapon, "Can't. I have to get up there" she simply answered, but before he could respond another man came running, "Crocodile is holding Cobra-sama captive inside".

Oriana took this chance to run past them and up the stairs. There were four warriors already inside the gates, but a few seconds later they fell to the ground along with a black dog-ish creature. "Oriana-san?" she turned to see Vivi.

"Vivi?" a man with dirty blond hair came in disbelief, "Do my eyes deceive me? I came here to demand the royal army to surrender, but Chaka and the king are dying at the hands of our country's hero. I just can't believe it!"

Crocodile and his partner started laughing at the man's reaction and the whole situation. It was the reaction of a man that just realized he made a huge mistake, "Vivi... who took away the country's rain?" the man asked before Vivi could explain the situation.

The shichibukai gladly told him that it was him along with whatever he thought the king did. Oriana thought it was obvious considering what kind of devil fruit he had.

The man, she assumed, was the king and the black dog started telling him that it wasn't too late to make things right. There was a bomb somewhere in the city and it would explode in less than thirty minutes if they don't stop it.

Oriana flew up to Crocodile and kicked him in the face, "I really didn't want to get involved in this, but I guess I have to fight you until Luffy comes back. What did you do to him anyway?" she sighed as if this whole war were just another inconvenience for her.

"Don't worry you'll suffer the same fate-" but before he finished his sentence she kicked him in the stomach, "That sounded like a threat" She punched him in the face this time. Crocodile glared at her but suddenly disappeared into the sand.

He reappeared and came behind Vivi who had tackled the blond man to the ground after telling him not to make the people panic and instead end the war, "You the only one that can do this!"

Mr. 0 was about to strike the princess, but the black dog blocked his attack, "I am the guardian spirit of Alabasta. The Jackal. The one who destroys the enemies of the royal family. As long as there's life in me, I'll fight!"

"And those kinds of people are called idiots," Crocodile said calmly. Oriana jumped over to him ready to give him another kick, but he jumped back, "Straw-hat is dead!" he might have hoped for a reaction but didn't expect the one he got.

"That's another thing you're wrong about!" Oriana's gaze was on the ground a moment ago but was now looking at him with the eyes that they described as Blaze.

"One; Luffy is too stubborn to die by the likes of you! Two; You said that there was no way I was the daughter of Whitebeard. Let me show you the strength I got from my father!" she took a step closer with every sentence.

The battle had stopped, and she got ready to show him the other side of her, but stopped at the sound of a gunshot, "I should have known you had people on both sides!" The chaotic battle started once more with Vivi looking even more desperate than before and pathetic to look at.

Crocodile went over to Vivi and grabbed her by the throat. Oriana might not like her, but she knew she had to at least get him away from her. She charged at him but was held back by arms that suddenly sprouted out of her body.

Oriana saw the black-haired woman standing with her arms crossed. She swung her leg back and surprised her with a shot of fire. The arms that were previously holding her disappeared. She hurried over to Crocodile, but he had already dropped the princess.

Oriana was about to jump down after her, but felt the presence of someone very familiar, "Luffy" she whispered with a smile. Her sunshine was riding on the back of a big bird and flew down in order to save Vivi.

She looked down and saw Luffy reunite with his crew, "I'm sorry guys. I lost to him once, but it won't happen again" he apologized, "Luffy if you don't get up here soon, I'll just have to beat this gator bastard".

Luffy turned to her panicky, "Wait, Oria, I'm going to do this!" she smiled at his reaction. It wasn't long till he rocket himself up to where she was and punched Crocodile in the face as he continue with some of his silly attacks.

"When you get wet, you can't turn into sand. You're afraid of water, that's why you took away the rain" Luffy splashed some on his hand. Oriana was watching those two fights and she couldn't help but admire the man Luffy has become.

He was no longer the little kid that was afraid of being alone and she almost laughed when he drank the barrel of water and spit it out at Crocodile, before sending him flying into a building.

The black-haired woman got tired of watching and pulled out the nails that were holding the king, "Now you are going to take me to where the poneglyph is" she said, "What will seeing it accomplish for you" he asked.

Oriana turned to them for a moment, 'The forbidden language the world government banned?' she thought with a smirk on her face. This country got so much more interesting. "Hurry out of here, Nico Robin, unless you want to be sucked dry" the shichibukai warned. "I have lost my patience."

A hand appeared on the king's back and she took him away. Oriana looked at Luffy before she followed the two. She walked casually a bit behind them and soon a group of marines appeared in front of them.

The female marine tried to help the king, but he wanted them to take care of the bomb that would explode at four thirty instead.

"Sergeant Major, that woman is Nico Robin. I'm positive. Captain Smoker ordered me to dig up her wanted poster. Twenty years ago, she had a bounty placed on her worldwide. The incident where 6 battleships were sunk by an 8-year-old girl. The government proclaims her as a first-class threat" some marine explained.

The woman became wanted during the time Oriana went missing, but knowing the government she knew there was more to the story than just sinking ships. The female soldier told her men to stop the bombing and that she would take care of this.

That was until Nico Robin used her own weapon against her and she was forced to let them go.

They arrived at a graveyard and the king opened up a secret stairwell, "I don't blame you. You probably didn't expect anyone still out there to be able to read them" Nico Robin said as they walked downstairs.

'That must be the reason the Government was after her', Oriana smirked.

"If you're going to read it, I think you should take a few steps back to get the full picture" the Yonko daughter suggested. The king looked shocked to see her, but Nico Robin didn't, "I knew you would appear soon". "Well, I wasn't trying to hide or anything," she said and leaned against the wall.

Crocodile soon came and told her to read it for him. His partner started reciting different dates in the country's history. "Oi, oi, what does it say about Pluton, the ancient weapon?" he asked angrily, "There isn't anything about Pluton," she calmly said.

"I see, that's unfortunate. You have been a formidable partner, but I've decided to kill you here" He glared at her. The woman took a step back shocked while he explained his reason before he struck her with his hook.

Oriana decided to interfere here and kicked him for the third or fourth time that day. "Why are you protecting her-" he didn't finish the sentence instead his eyes almost popped out of his head, "What's wrong, Croco? You look like you've seen a ghost.

Crocodile gridded his teeth unable to speak cause in front of him was a young woman with straight white hair, dark skin, and fiery red eyes, "As I recall you didn't believe I was Winter Blaze. I just thought it was time you finally met her" she said with a given bigger grin.

The man took a step back, "What is the daughter of Whitebeard doing at this side of the Grand Line?" shocking the king of the country. While Mr. 0 was focused on her, his partner sprouted an arm on his shoulder before throwing a small, closed container of water to it.

She pulled out a knife ready to stab him, but he dodged her and stroke her again. Oriana managed to stop his hook, but the sharp end slid her. The older woman fell onto the ground breathing heavily. Oriana was about to attack him but stepped aside for Luffy to punch him instead.

"Sorry, I'm late, Oria. Oh, it's been a while since I've seen that form!" Luffy smiled, "Yeah, but what have you been doing? Were you sleeping, or something?" she raised an eyebrow. "I was tired so a took a quick nap." His eyes never left his target.

"Luffy, don't lose again," she said in a menacing voice, "I won't!" he said confidently before he charged at the Shichibukai.

Oriana transformed back and watched the intense battle from the side. She was proud to see how much Luffy had grown since she last saw him. He was no longer the kid that she left on the island six years ago. He still had his cheerfulness along with that smile.

Even after all those years – Luffy was still her sunshine.

Luffy ended the fight by punching Crocodile through the ceiling and out under the sun. Ironic considering, he had this whole plan in the shadow and now it was out in the light for everyone to see.

"You have my thanks," the king said gratefully, "Don't mention it" Luffy smiled before passing out.

The king went over to him concerned and Nico Robin rolled a bottle toward them. She told him that it was the cure for Crocodile's poisonous hook. The king started asking why she lied to the shichibukai, that everything about Pluton should have been written there.

Oriana went over to the stone and rubbed her hand over it. Nico Robin was the second person she'd met to be able to read that.

The older woman explained that she never intended to give Crocodile that information and that she had no interest in it either. She was looking for Rio Poneglyph which contained the true history the world government was trying to hide.

Robin had been looking for it for twenty years, and she was finally ready to give up on it and die, but Luffy suddenly stood up and carried the king and Robin out of the collapsing place. Robin protested, but Luffy refused to listen, "Let's go, Oria!"

Once they were out of danger Luffy laid the two people down on the ground before passing out again. Oriana smiled lovingly and was about to carry him, but the king insisted on doing it since he was the country's hero. Oriana accepted and the two walked into the city in silence.

They soon found the rest of the crew along with Vivi, the king put Luffy down and reunited with his daughter. The two left to speak with their people. When they were far enough away the pirates except Oriana passed out next to the young captain.

Oriana sat on the ground as she watched over the small crew. Everything was peaceful until the Marines came and wanted to arrest them. She was ready for a fight even if it was against these weaklings, but the female marine stopped them.

Winter Blaze transported them to the castle where Vivi gave them a big room to rest. Most of the crew recovered the next day except for Luffy. Oriana used the time to climb the wall surrounding Alubarna to draw the beautiful city with its old culture.

On her way back to the castle she bought a snail phone because she wrote her father's number in her drawing book a few years ago in order to contact him wherever she was.

Luffy woke up after three days and he was hungry. He had a fun time challenging the king's head chef, saying that he would eat three days' worth of food, "I'll eat four days' worth of food!" Oriana smirked at him, and he gladly accepted the contest.

The pirates made the normally quiet dining hall very chaotic, but the most important thing was that they were enjoying themselves. The two siblings were stuffing their faces without letting the other steal food from their plates.

The party's laughter could be heard through the halls and the guards even joined the fun.

Oriana pulled up a good battle but, in the end, Luffy won by one dish, he was at the brink of puking, "If you throw up, I win!" she said barely holding it back herself. He laid down on the floor with his fat belly.

It took a little time to digest the meal, then they were offered to get themselves cleaned up in the bathroom. Men and women were separated by a wall, but they would still hear each other's voices. Vivi was washing Nami's back with a smile on her face as she was talking about the adventures they saw.

"Don't you want to take off your bracelet and neckless, Oria?" Nami suddenly asked, "I… they are both important to me." even after all those years they still connected her to the people that gave them to her, "I don't want to risk losing them"

"We understand," both of them smiled at her.

Oriana was wearing a towel like the princess, and she let her hair fall down her back. The steam was making it look really good. She sat by the other girls enjoying the heat, but that was soon ruined when the guys climbed over the wall to look at them.

Surprisingly the only one that wasn't looking at them was Zoro. Oriana was about to give them a piece of her mind, "It'll be a hundred thousand berries for each person" the navigator said, confusing them, but she stood up and showed the guys her naked body and they fell into a nosebleed.

"Nami-san!" Vivi yelled embarrassed and Oriana just laughed.

The three females went over to the pool, "We'll probably leave Alabasta tonight," Nami started, "Yes, finally!" Oriana leaned back more comfortably. "Yeah, we don't have a reason to be here anymore," Nami said and Vivi looked distressed.

Oriana could guess the reason for her sudden mood change – Now, that her country was saved what was she going to do? Would she officially join the crew, or would she stay?

After the bath, they started talking about leaving when someone named Bon-chan called them. Sanji answered, but when he discovered who it was, he hung up. The stranger called once more and told them that he stole their ship.

The pirates quickly packed their things and were ready to jump out the window, "Guys, I don't know what to do," Vivi suddenly spoke up, "Listen, Vivi, we'll get the ship and sail to the eastern harbor. We'll be there around noon, twelve o'clock, if you want to officially join us there's your chance and we will welcome you onboard," Nami explained.

"Vivi, come at any cost!" Luffy encouraged as everyone was leaving through the window. The ducks from a few days ago were waiting to take everyone back to the ship. Nami looked sad, "What's wrong, Nami?" Chopper asked.

"Do you want some meat, only a bite though," Luffy tried to cheer her up, "I know you and Vivi-chan were very close," Sanji said concerned. "I… I'll give it up, for Vivi's sake… the billion berries," the navigator said almost regretfully.

"Of course!" her crewmates yelled, and Oriana laughed, "What a fun crew!"

When they arrived at the ship a swan ballerina with horrible taste in clothes was waiting for them, "Oh, and who is this beauty?" the man asked with his eyes on Oriana. She just ignored him and walked up to the ship.

He was about to touch her face, but she got this weird feeling coming from his hand and quickly dodged, "I don't know what kind of powers you have but don't try to touch me," she said while glaring at him.

The man took a step back in fear while the other loaded the ship with supplies. For some reason, Oriana didn't understand why Bon Clay fellow was onboard the ship with them while his own was sailing next to them.

The fun trio, Luffy, Usopp, and Chopper asked why he would protect their ship from the marines. "Because we're friends," the okama said with tears in his eyes and they were all dancing together.

Until Zoro discovered his real intention and since he couldn't pass the blockade of battleships on his own, he decided to use them.

'Cowardly, but not dumb' Oriana thought.

The marines sailed towards them, but the crew managed to gain a bit of distance between them. The sun rose and everything was going great until the okama panicked about some female soldier named Hina.

"If you want to go, then go but we can't," Luffy said, "What? Why?" the former Mr. 2 asked, "Noon at the eastern harbor we have an appointment" Nami continued. "Is there some treasure that's worth your lives" He was still confused.

"We're going there to pick up a friend" Luffy elaborated and as soon as he said that Bon Clay understood, "So, this is for your pal? If we run away now it wouldn't be the Bon Clay way. How are we able to enjoy our food tomorrow if we abandon our pals who are risking their lives to pick up their pal".

Oriana frowned, "Why are you making it so complicated?"

The Okama didn't listen instead he made a plan that would help them escape while he sacrificed himself for the crew. Bon Clay used his powers to disguise himself as Luffy along with his crew to get the marines away from them. It was a tearful goodbye, "We'll never forget you!"

They soon arrived at the eastern harbor, but there was no sign of the princess. The small crew started to wonder if she really would come, "Give it up Luffy, her situation is different from ours" Sanji said, but the captain refused to listen, "I'm sure she's coming!"

"Everyone!" a familiar voice yelled, "Vivi! Quick turn the ship around," but they weren't ready for what would come next, "I came to say goodbye!" Vivi said. Oriana noticed how the crew froze for a second, "I can't go with you. Thank you for everything. I want to continue the adventure, but I love this country! I will remain here!"

"I see," Luffy quickly accepted it and the pirates looked sad. Oriana thought it would be inappropriate to be happy that she wasn't going to join, but she did smile.

"If we meet again someday, will you still call me your Nakama?" the princess asked crying, "You'll always be our-" Luffy yelled but Nami slammed her hand over his mouth, "Don't reply! The marines will notice Vivi. If we prove she's connected to us, she'll become a criminal. Let's part ways without saying anything" Nami said as they turned away from her.

Oriana knew that their silence was hurting her, that was until she saw they had their left arm up with an X mark on. The whitebeard pirate guessed that the mark meant something to them, and she decided to draw this cute little moment.

Soon Vivi and her duck had her arm up too and the friends parted ways.

After their little moment the crew left Alabasta with everybody crying over Vivi not joining, everyone except for Zoro and Oriana, "What's wrong?" the swordsman asked. They looked to the side before looking back at them, "We miss her!"

Zoro told them to stop whining and that if they really wanted her to join, they should have forced her.

Oriana could understand that they were sad that they would miss their friend, but they had to see that Vivi wasn't the pirate type. She was going to stress herself out worrying and whenever they got into a battle would she fight or try to convince Luffy that they should talk about it?

They were insulting Zoro when a door suddenly opened, and a familiar woman came out. The pirates were alerted and were ready for whatever she might do, "Don't point such dangerous things at me" she somehow pushed Zoro and Nami's weapons out of their hands.

Nico Robin had been hiding inside the ship and even borrowed some of Nami's clothes. She took a chair and sat down by the rail, "Monkey D. Luffy do you remember what you did to me?" she said. Sanji grabbed his collar for hurting a beautiful lady.

"Oi, don't lie. I didn't do anything to you!" Luffy defended, "Yes you did. What you did was unbearable. Take responsibility." She put her hands behind her head and closed her eyes.

Oriana watched from a distance in amusement.

"You don't make any sense. What do you want me to do?" Luffy asked, "Let me join your crew" she responded, which shook the crew. Each of them had a different reaction, there was: shock, joy, fear, anger, and confusion from Luffy, Sanji, Usopp, Nami, and Chopper.

In that order.

Then there was Zoro who looked like he was tired of arguing and would just accept whatever happens. After she told them that Luffy had saved her without her permission and didn't have anywhere else to go, the young captain quickly accepted.

It didn't take long for most of the crew to open up to her, which Oriana thought was hilarious. Nico Robin had fun with Luffy and Chopper using her devil fruit, she gave Nami treasure, there wasn't much hope for Sanji to begin with, Usopp laughed with his two crewmates, and Zoro just didn't trust her… yet.

Oriana was curious to know the woman and she walked over to her and sat on the chair next to her, "You won them over quicker than I thought. I think you'll be a good addition to the crew" she smiled at her; "Thanks" Robin chuckled.

"I'm Oriana" she introduced, "I know, you're Winter Blaze," the older woman said, "Oh, you know who I really am," Oriana wasn't asking, "I saw your transformation back then," she said, "Oh, right!"

"I'm Nico Robin" she smiled, "I know, you're famous for sinking warships at the age of eight, but I know too well that the government like to cover things up. So, there must be another reason they're after you – like being able to read a certain forbidden language."

The ex-agent chuckled, "You're very informed as expected of the daughter of Whitebeard" she praised, "You're the true daughter of Whitebeard that everybody is talking about?" the crew's eyes widen except Luffy, "Yeah I am" she simply answered, and the conversation ended there.
