"How high up is that?" Sanji asked before Robin explained that there were three that only held that title and above him was the fleet admiral Sengoku. The crew got intimidated but Oriana began to smirk, "I've always wanted to fight the navy's powerhouse!"

Aokiji wasn't listening and turned to Nami, "Oh my, here is another curvy hottie. Are you free tonight?" he asked. Sanji yelled at him, but the admiral explained that he wasn't there to capture them.

Oriana watched him closely; she wasn't sure what to think about Aokiji. He didn't look that strong, but she knew looks were very deceiving. "My motto is lazy justice!" he said before calmly lying down on the ground.

The admiral started debating with himself whether to report them to the headquarters about the addition of people with a bounty on the crew.

Luffy decided to react by wanting to fight him, "I said I wasn't going to do anything!" Aokiji tried. "You're taking a walk. Yeah, right? Why don't you walk around again and just go away!" Luffy shushed him away.

"Give me a break, man!" Aokiji replied and switched his attention to the old man to offer him to reunite with the rest of his village. Luffy protested and told him not to listen to him since he was a marine, but the old man looked confused as to why that was a bad thing, "That's right, normally marines are the good guys and we're bad!"

The crew didn't understand how the admiral could help him, but Robin reassured them that he could do it. When old man Toto packed his things Aokiji went over to the sea and put his hand into the water. Out of nowhere a sea king emerged from the water, "Ice age!" in seconds the entire sea was frozen.

"It's a logia-type devil fruit. He ate the Hie-hie no mi!" Robin said nervously. Aokiji stood up and went back to the island. The small crew saw the old man off before going back to land and saw Aokiji looking at Luffy, "What?" he asked.

"How can I describe it… You're just like you're gramps, Monkey D. Luffy. You're wild and have no self-control." He finally explained. Luffy's face suddenly changed, "Grandpa?" he looked scared, "I agree!" she put her hand on his shoulder.

Meanwhile, the pirates were trying to figure out why their fearless captain looked so scared. The admiral turned to Oriana, "You look familiar… Do I know you?" he stared at her, "I don't think so…" she looked away suspiciously.

"Oh well, I came here to get a glimpse of Nico Robin and you," he looked at Luffy when his face suddenly changed, "But I've changed my mind maybe you guys better die now!" he looked ready to attack them.

Robin crossed her arms and sprouted arms all over the admiral's body ready to crack his back, "If you want to kill me then do it already," she yelled before snapping his back in two before turning himself into ice in the meantime.

The pirates panicked as they looked at their crewmate, "Robin!" everyone except Oriana yelled. She had been a pirate for a long time and knew how the powers of logia worked, "It's not over yet, guys!" she said as they watched the admiral regather himself.

"That wasn't very nice," Aokiji grabbed a handful of grass and threw it into the air blowing into an ice spike. He was about to strike Robin, but Zoro clashed his sword with it while Sanji kicked the ice out of his hands.

With Luffy coming behind them, the admiral however grabbed Zoro's arm and Sanji's leg as the captain punched him in the stomach. The three of them yelled in pain because the part of their body that was touching him turned to ice.

They fell to the ground, "You have met some fine comrades however you're still the same old Nico Robin," Aokiji laughed, "No, I'm…." she tried but he leaned over her and pulled her into a hug. Oriana shot a ball of fire at him, "It's too late," he said as he dodged.

He had already frozen Robin.

Oriana went over to her and laid a hand in front of her face. She slowly tried to unfreeze her, "Why you!" Luffy yelled, "Don't whine… she'll still be alive when she thaws. Be careful if she breaks, she'll die," Aokiji informed.

He came up next to Oriana, "For example, if you were to hit her like this…" he swung his arm down, but she held him back, "Oria!" they screamed happily, "Someone take Robin while I fight him!" she ordered.

Chopper and Usopp took her back to the ship. Oriana kicked him away with Sanji and Zoro running towards him, "Hold it both of you!" Luffy yelled. The two looked at their captain, "Luffy…" Sanji complained, "Don't butt in, Oria got this! Go back to the ship!" the young captain ordered.

Oriana's eyes softened, she knew that Luffy wanted to fight the admiral himself, but he wasn't at a point where he could, yet he trusted her enough to do it while he sat away and watched her from a distance without interfering.

The female pirate took her stance in front of the admiral, "I won't hold back," he said, "Of course, that would be stupid!" she smirked. She ran towards him with fiery hands. He crossed his arms and four ice spears appeared in front of her.

Oriana dodged each one of them when he was suddenly in front of her and grabbed her arms, "It's over now!" he blew ice in her face, "Stop doing that, it's disgusting!" he looked confused like he was expecting something to happen.

"Why aren't you frozen?" Aokiji managed to ask, "It's your powers, I don't know why you can't!" She had a big smug smile on her face as she said that. Oriana took a deep breath before blowing fire out her mouth.

The admiral let go of her, "Ah, I'm tired!" he suddenly said, "What?" she asked confused, "I didn't intend to fight you. I have no reason to fight you. See you!" he said while taking his jacket, "Oi, you can't let it end like that!" she yelled after him.

Aokiji went into the forest and Oriana ran after him refusing to let it end like that.

Oriana could no longer see him, "Oi, Oria? What happened?" Luffy asked. She didn't answer him and tried to feel the admiral's presence, but it suddenly disappeared, "Where did he go?" she muttered, "He's gone?" he asked a little pissed off.

She sighed before taking Luffy's arm, "Let's go back to the ship," Luffy nodded, and the siblings walked side by side, "Thanks for letting me fight him. I know you think it's your duty as a captain to do it, but it meant a lot to me,"

"Don't mention it!" he chuckled she smiled at him and suddenly remembered, "Didn't you get hit by the admiral?" she asked while looking at the arm she was holding on to, "Oh right I forgot!" he lifted up his right arm, "You should have told me sooner!"

Oriana turned his frozen into water, "You have to be more careful!" she scolded, "Thank you!" he smiled. When they went back to the ship Nami, Zoro and Sanji were sitting outside, "I'm glad you alright, Oria-sama!" the cook said happily.

"Robin needs your help, Oria!" Nami said panicky. Oriana nodded and went inside to help the others. As soon as Chopper saw her tears came into his eyes, "Oria… I-" she patted his head, "I know, you need me to help Robin?" he nodded, "Leave it to me!"

Robin lay in the bathtub with water over her and some part was even back to normal. Oriana sat at the side of the tub and moved her hands in order to get the water to cover the older woman's body. She stood up before slowly crunching her hands into a fist making the water heat up.

"Oi, what are you doing?" Usopp screamed but she didn't bother facing him, "Saving her," she answered and soon the room got steamy. Oriana didn't stop till Robin's body turned back to normal.

She drained the tub and Chopper turned big to pick up his friend, "Thank you!" he had tears in his eyes. "Don't mention it," she said and went out to the others, "What happened?" some of them asked her desperately.

"She's going to be fine," she answered before sitting on the rail making them sigh in relief.

-x-

It's been three days since the fight with the admiral. Sanji served Nami and Oriana a light snack along with delicious drinks. Luffy, Usopp, and Chopper were playing with flour.

They were relaxing and even Robin had fully recovered. The sea was very calm and quiet but there was suddenly a huge frog swimming next to them. Luffy wanted the crew to follow the creature to a lighthouse.

A loud bell sound was getting closer to them when the frog suddenly stopped and turned towards them. The pirates were confused about what was going on, but a big green thing rushed in their direction.

Oriana reacted fast and pushed the ship away from the smoking metal ship. They barely managed to dodge however the frog took the thing head-on. The thing was getting fast at pushed the frog into the air after getting hit.

A light voice came from the lighthouse, "It's terrible, granny, granny – pirates!" a small girl with green pigtails came out. An old lady was there too, and it appeared that she was drunk. The little girl told them that the green machine was the sea train that 'sailed' between islands nearby.

It was connected by the rails just a few centimeters below the surface which the frog fought every day. Its determination impressed Luffy, and he decided not to eat it. The old lady gave Nami a piece of paper and they soon set sail towards an island called Water Seven.

The Straw-Hat crew were discussing the possibility of getting a new crewmate. Sanji volunteered to search for a new shipwright so that he would get a real beauty. Luffy was strongly against it, "Are you an idiot? We're talking about a shipwright here! It's going to be a mountain of a man," he illustrated it by lifting his arm away from the side.

He had other criteria, but the real concern was pointed out by Zoro, "Anyone will do as long as they're skilled. The real question is whether we can find anyone crazy enough to join our pirate crew,"

The small reindeer got excited for someone new joining their crew while Nami dramatically threw the paper onto the deck, "Like that's going to help!" she yelled angrily. Oriana chuckled at the crew's different interactions.

"So, we're looking for a guy like this!" Luffy had drawn what a shipwright should look like. Oriana went over to him and burned the drawing, "Why did you do that, Oria?" he asked, "It's insulting to me as an artist to know that my little brother drew things so ugly!"

"What are you saying? It's fine!" Luffy defended, "It's not fine. It should never see the light of day ever again!" Oriana turned around dramatically. The others agreed with her, "She's right Luffy, If I saw a guy like that I'd run away!" Usopp said.

"Yeah, me too. And if there's a ship around, I'd jump out to sea, but it looks like it's related to an octopus and might come after us," Sanji added.

While they were talking Nami came to give them their allowance.

Usopp went over to the mast and hugged it making his friends wonder, "This patchwork of tin plates holds the memory of our battles and adventures. And the thought of she's going to get fixed up all nice and pretty. Steers up a lot of strong feelings in me" he said happily.

The crew wanted their ship as good as new while adding a cannon. Luffy wanted a bronze statue as well without thinking out the difference between values. Zoro told them about the island that appeared in the distance.

A beautiful water island with a huge water spring in the middle. Oriana went up to the crows-nest to get a better look at it. As they got into the city people told them to sail through the back because it would be safer for them since they were pirates.

Oriana went inside to change and when she came back out Sanji had a drink ready for her, "You look so beautiful, Oria-sama!" he dramatically leaned to the side with a huge smile, "Thank you!" she winked, and his eyes shaped into hearts.

The ship arrived at a small cape where they decided to dock the ship. Zoro pulled the ropes in order to take the sail up, but it broke halfway through. Oriana sighed helping support the mast better. Hopefully.

Usopp and Luffy were about to run into the island when Nami told them to go with her. The plan was to cash in the gold and then go look for the Iceberg guy the old lady told them about to get their ship fixed.

Oriana went inside to get her drawing book but then she came out again, everyone had left except Zoro. He was snoring by the rail, 'It must be nice to fall asleep so easily' she envied him. Meanwhile, she was looking for a place where she could draw the city.

She was about to leave when a group of people jumped on board the ship, "Oh, I thought you weren't paying attention," a man with goggles pointed a sword at her. "I never truly let my guard down," she rolled her eyes in annoyance.

He swung his weapon at her, but Oriana kicked and broke it in half, "Impossible!" the man was staring at her. "Having all the fun all by yourself, Oria?" Zoro got up with a sword in both hands. Another man came and attacked the swordsman, he effortlessly blocked his weapon.

"Who are you? Identify yourselves!" Zoro asked. They were bounty hunters from the Franky family and were after Zoro's bounty, "Can you take care of them?" she leaned against the rail to watch, "It won't take long," he said.

True to his word he sends them flying with his tornado attack sending them right into the water.

Zoro went back to sleep while Oriana finished her drink. She laid the glass down next to the swordsman, "Well, I'll be going no-…" She saw a squared-nosed man in the air before he landed on the deck, "Who are you?" she asked as he checked the mast.

Before he could answer, "Who the hell are you!" Zoro woke up screaming. "Oh, did I wake you?" he looked around the ship, "The mast needs to be replaced too," he said to himself. The squared-nosed man went inside to take a look.

It must have been the shipwright Luffy and the others found.

He came out a few minutes later, "Let me guess… the ship can't be fixed?" Oriana said which surprised the long-nose and Zoro as well, "I'm not a shipwright, but I've sailed the sea long enough to have an idea when a ship can no longer be fixed."

"You're right, it can't be fixed," the man said, "Is that the truth?" Zoro asked, "I don't lie about my work," he answered. The shipwright explained the situation along with their option before he left. Zoro went over to the figurehead with a sad frown, "Merry… will you really never sail again?"

Oriana didn't say anything, she had no attachment to this ship and didn't get that it was a nakama thing. If it was the Moby Dick in that situation she would, of course, be sad. It has been her home for a long time… the home her father gave her.

She jumped off the ship and slowly walked into the city while slowly starting to draw. Oriana wanted to go up to the fountain at the top to get a good view of the island, but it didn't feel right. Instead, she went up to the tall wall with a number on it.

Oriana had the perfect view of everything there.

After a while, Oriana's concentration broke because of an explosion in the distance. She was somehow sure that they were behind that. She has traveled with them long enough to know they were drawn to trouble. Oriana turned back to her drawing because, for now, it wasn't her problem.

When the sun was about to set, she was over halfway done and decided she would continue tomorrow. Oriana went back to the ship and found everyone in the kitchen, "What's going on?" she blinked when she saw Usopp clinging to Zoro's leg crying.

"Oria… Where have you been?" Nami asked, "I've been drawing the island… What happened here?" She pointed at the long nose. "Some bounty hunters beat Usopp to a pulp and stole two hundred million berries. We went over to their hideout and destroyed the entire place, but their leader Franky had already left with the money," Sanji explained.

"So, you didn't get the money back…? I'm sorry!" Usopp bowed in shame. "But what about the ship? Will the hundred million be enough to fix the Merry? We came to this big ship-building center to get her repaired. We need her to be strong enough to handle all the upcoming voyages!" he said.

"Well, Usopp, I've decided to switch ships. We owe a lot to Merry-go, but this is as far as she goes," Luffy smiled and started looking through a book with ships they could buy next, "Wait! So, we don't have the money to fix her…" The long-nose started blaming himself.

The captain assured him that wasn't the reason, "Then explain it to me! Don't hold back!" Usopp yelled. The two started going at each other with the rest of the crew trying to calm them down but with little luck.

"The Merry-go can't be repaired anymore! She can't be fixed. I wouldn't be telling you if there were any other way!" Luffy finally yelled. Usopp eyes widen for a moment, "But, it's our ship… the ship we're on right now?" he slapped the floor, "Yeah, this ship is going to sink!" Luffy said back, "What are you saying, Luffy?!"

The captain explained that the shipwright told them the Merry would not make it to the next island. Usopp had a problem with that because the shipwright didn't know their ship and what she was keepable of.

"Is that all this ship means to you, Luffy?!" he started yelling again. Luffy calmly asked if he was an expert because the ship didn't have someone like that. That's why they asked the shipwright for help, but that didn't stop Usopp.

He kept saying that he was going to fix the ship as he had done before and Luffy was an idiot for believing them, "I misjudged you, Luffy!" he grabbed his captain's collar. Nami tried to interfere, but Luffy told her to stay out of it.

Luffy told him that he had already made up his mind and it was his decision to make as the captain. There was nothing he could say or do to change that, "I can't turn my back to an injured comrade and go back out to sea!"

"That's enough! If you don't like my way of doing things, you can just take this opportunity to..." Luffy didn't get to finish because Sanji kicked him away for almost telling their crewmate to leave the crew.

Usopp decided to do just that, "There's no sense in traveling together when we have completely different views," he got up and walked out the door. Everyone ran after him as they watched him walk away, but he suddenly turned around, "Since you're the captain the ship belongs to you. So I challenge you to a duel for it. Monkey D. Luffy FIGHT ME!"

Oriana had been quiet during the argument and watching the crew interaction. She was enraged that he would challenge his captain over a ship even worse a doomed ship.

Luffy went into his room and Nami followed him. Oriana, Zoro, and Sanji went into the kitchen and the two started arguing. The navigator soon came in and stopped the two. Oriana leaned against the wall with closed eyes.

Chopper entered the kitchen crying because he wanted to help Usopp, but he said that they were no longer crewmates.

"Can't you do something, Oria?" Nami asked, "What do you want me to do?" she wondered, "You can talk to Luffy and make him not fight Usopp!" Nami desperately tried. Oriana stood straight and looked at her, "There's nothing I can do to stop this," she walked towards the door.

Oriana entered the guys' room and saw Luffy lying in a hammock, "I don't want to talk about this anymore," his hat covered his eyes. She decided to lay down with him but opposite, "I'm not here to talk about it," she smiled at him.

She watched him, "It's weird not seeing you smile, sunshine," she said, "I don't feel like smiling," he answered sadly. "I know I'll just have to smile for you," she smiled cutely and stretched her hand towards him, and he took it.

"Oria…"

"Yeah, sunshine?"

"Thank you. I'm happy you're here."

"Don't mention it."

The two just sat there enjoying each other's company. It soon got really dark, and Oriana tried to cheer Luffy up by showing him a small fire trick. He didn't look as enthusiastic as usual, "I learned something in Sky Island!" She was excited to show him. "What is it?" he asked.

Oriana sat up and robbed her hands together for a few seconds before separating them with lightning appearing in between. "That's so cool! Did you just learn that?" he asked amazed but not in his usual excitement. "Yes, after we left the sky!"

They talked about their journeys up until they reunited when someone knocked on the door, "It's time, Luffy," Zoro came in. Luffy nodded ready to get up, but Oriana grabbed his arm, "You got this!" she smiled. He nodded before he left.

Oriana stood with the crew by the head figure waiting for the battle to start.

Luffy jumped off the ship and walked away from the rest of them, "It's ten o'clock, Usopp will be here!" Chopper informed. "Stay onboard, you, guys. Don't get off!" the captain ordered as footsteps were getting closer. Usopp had arrived.

It wasn't clear what the two were talking about, but they did hear Usopp yelling that he had over eight thousand men. Chopper screamed in amazement because he was the only one who believed it wholeheartedly. "Go to your room," Zoro said like a caring big brother.

Luffy charged towards him, but he stopped when Usopp fell to the ground coughing 'blood', "Certain kill: Ketchup star," he said glaring at Luffy, "Are you taking pity on your enemy? Flash dial!" a bright light blinded Luffy.

Giving him the chance to shoot something very smelly into his former friend's mouth. A few seconds later, he shot something else into his mouth causing Luffy to spit off fire. The young captain fell onto his back and landed on something spiky before he yelled in pain.

The long-nose shot shurikens at him, but he managed to dodge. Luffy stopped for a moment, but there was suddenly a huge explosion. Oriana used every bit of her willpower not to run over to her brother to help him and kick Usopp into the Red Line.

Once the air cleared, they saw Luffy lying on his back all injured.

Luffy quickly got up and punched Usopp in the face. He got ready for another punch, but the attack was absorbed by the shell from Sky Island. The long nose stretched his arm right in front of Luffy's face and returned the impact to him.

Usopp screamed in pain, and he realized that he failed to defeat his opponent because Luffy towered over him with an angry expression. He stretched his arm back, "Gomu Gomu no bullet!" his fist shot into Usopp's stomach, and he fell to the ground.

The duel was over with Luffy winning.

Oriana took a deep breath and let the rest of the crew process what would happen. Nami and Chopper were crying while Zoro and Sanji were more collected. Oriana found herself getting emotional too.

Luffy fell onto his knees, "You stupid bastard! There was no way you could have won!" he yelled. He didn't get an answer. Luffy got up with his hat in his hand and went in the direction of the ship, "Do whatever you want with the Going Merry. We'll get a new ship, and we'll go onto the seas ahead," he said and put his hat on his head.

"Goodbye Usopp… It's been fun," Luffy said and left him there beaten.
