Chapter 16: From Bat to Worse

Hey everyone I'm back with a new chapter. I'm glad all you enjoyed my switch and I'm happy to say this story has over 150 favorites! Thank you all for your support. I hope you like what I have planned. Please Review and Enjoy.

We find ourselves at the Miraculous Hero's base at Sweet Justice, but as we looked around, we saw none of them were there, in fact the only thing in the room was Zee's top hat.

Looking inside it we see Mister Bug, Lady Claw, Wonder Woman, Batgirl, Green Lantern, Bumblebee, Supergirl and Asteria looking around at the magical training area in awe.

"Well what do you guys think?" Zatanna asks gesturing to the magical world. "Think this is good enough for hero training?"

"Incredible, all this space in such a small hat." Asteria said looking around.

"Truly amazing sorcery." Wonder Woman admits.

"I gotta say Zatanna you never fail to amaze me." Mister Bug said making her giggle.

"Oh thank you." Zatanna smiles loving the praise.

"This place will be great hero training while my dojo can train you heroes the old-fashioned way. By the way what size gis do you all wear?" Asteria asks.

"Uh what?" Zatanna asks.

"You train at my dojo you will dress like all my other students." Asteria said.

"Come on Zee, it's not that big of a deal." Lady Claw said.

"Alright enough talk, I want to see you all training." Asteria instructs.

For their training Asteria had paired them up for team matches.

On one side was Mister Bug, Supergirl, Zatanna and Green Lantern. On the other side was Wonder Woman, Lady Claw, Bumblebee and Batgirl.

Charging in, Supergirl was on the attack as Wonder Woman was struggling to keep up her defense.

"Keep up your guard Diana try and counter. Kara get creative don't just punch. Try and throw her off her game." Asteria said.

Dropping to the ground, Wonder Woman ducks under Supergirl's kick and nails her in the chest making Supergirl skid back.

Up in the air, Bumblebee was flying around Green Lantern firing at her.

Creating a wall, Green Lantern deflects the attacks but Bumblebee shrunk down and flew over her.

"Jessica don't be afraid to hit back and Karen don't be afraid period." Asteria said.

Below them, Zatanna held out her wand and fired magical blasts at Lady Claw who swings her sword deflecting them.

Moving in, Lady Claw attacks forcing Zatanna to block with a magic barrier.

"Good work Marinette you're using the Wolf Miraculous better. Zee be creative, your magic is fueled by your words." Asteria said.

Lady Claw swings the sword but Zatanna made a portal under her allowing Zatanna to dodge the attack and appear behind Lady Claw.

Spinning his yoyo, Mister Bug was deflecting Batgirl's batarrangs as she ran around him.

"You can't spin that yoyo forever!" Batgirl said moving in.

Using this chance, Mister Bug throws it wrapping around Batgirl's leg as he slams her to the ground.

"I didn't need to, I just needed to spin it long enough to catch you." Mister Bug chuckles.

"Very good Sam, you could make a decent Ladybug someday." Asteria jokes.

"Uh thanks but I think I'll stick with what I'm best at." Mister Bug said.

Eventually training came to an end because Asteria and Wayzz had to go home.

An hour later at Barbara's house, Jessica, Zee, Sam and Marinette were helping Babs unpack some boxes that got delivered.

"Where do you want this lamp?" Jess asks taking out a Batman styled lamp.

"Ooh over there." Babs points.

"How does this look?" Sam asks as he was hanging curtains up.

"Mmm little to the left." Marinette said as Tikki and Faang helped him adjust it.

"dnoura sith evolver." Zee chants as items flew out of the boxes and lined themselves up all over the room. "What do you think?"

"I LOVE IT!" Babs cheers making Sam and Marinette cover their ears.

"Good to know." Both winced.

"Hey we missed one." Tikki points to a stray box.

Walking to it Sam hands it to Barbara.

Putting it down she opens it to reveal a small Batman plushie causing her to instantly frown.

"Hey Babs, what's wrong?" Jessica asks.

"It's nothing. It's just I'll never forget that beautiful summer's day in Gotham." Babs declares.

Flashback:

We find ourselves in the crime-ridden city of Gotham as the Bat Signal was high in the air.

Popping her head out her window a young Barbara looked up at it in awe.

"This is it Bat Knight, old buddy old pal." She said looking down at the plushie. "Tonight we show Batman what we got. Tonight, we cannot be denied. Tonight, we finally join Team Bat." She declares.

Getting on her bike, Babs put Bat Knight in the basket as she pedaled into the city with a police radio tied to her tricycle.

"Batman, this is Commissioner Gordon. We're on our way, but you may have to stop the robbery on your own." Commissioner Gordon said on the radio.

"Not if I can help it." Babs said as she struggled to pedal up a hill and down alleys.

Arriving at the crime scene, Babs looks in awe to see Batman standing above a building with a tied up criminal hanging from a light post.

Smiling widely, Babs thought her big dream was about to come true when Batman swung away into the night.

"Wait! Come back!" Babs yells getting off her trike. "You forgot your new teammate." She frowns.

"He's already got a teammate, twerp." Emerging from the shadows was a young boy with brown hair, a red, green and yellow costume and yellow cape. This was Robin.

"Oh what's that? Is that your little dolly?" Robin points.

"Bat Knight's no dolly, he's my side-kick. My back up. He's the bomb!" Barbara snaps.

"Da Bomb? Face it, bat shrimp. Batman don't want no little baby girls crampin' his style." Robin mocks.

"Robin that's enough." A voice said as two new figures jumped in.

Gasping Babs saw a young boy dressed like Batman and boy around the same age as her dressed almost like Robin but had a black hood over his head that doubled as his cape and his suit was only red and black. These were Batkid and Red Robin.

"Oh hey guys, just dealing with this civilian." Robin said.

"Yeah we saw." Red Robin glares.

"We'll take from here, you go catch up with Batman." Batkid said.

"Fine, I was about to leave anyway. Later shrimp." Robin said firing a grappling hook and swinging away.

Once he left both boys heard Babs sniffle.

"Hey that's a pretty cool Bat doll." Batkid said trying to cheer her up.

"Kinda looks like the real thing." Red Robin said nudging her. "Don't let what Robin say get to you. We've been putting up with him for a long time."

"Why is that guy Batman's sidekick and I'm not?" Babs asks.

"Look as annoying as he is, Robin has a point. You're not ready to be a sidekick." Red Robin said making her gasps.

"Yes I am! I'm totally ready!" Babs said.

"Oh yeah? Can you fight off evil villains with henchman that are twice your size?" Red Robin asks.

"Uh well 3/4ths." Babs said.

"Can you hack a mainframe while being shot at?" Batkid asks.

"Can I what?" Babs said surprised.

"Can you run, flip and leap through the air with the skills of a pro acrobat?" Red Robin asks.

"Uh no." Babs admits feeling worse.

"Can you keep your cool under horrible conditions where it looks like you might lose?" Batkid asks.

"Can you be tough?" Red Robin asks.

"Ruthless?" Batkid asks.

"Disciplined?" Red Robin asks.

"Fearless?" Batkid asks.

"I don't know maybe." Babs said getting scared.

"But above all else, when you get knocked down can you get up?" Red Robin asks.

"I-I." Babs stutters hearing these guys lecture her but each word was true. She wasn't a sidekick. She was just a fan. "No." She hangs her head in defeat.

"No you can't. Not yet anyway." Red Robin said.

"Huh?" Babs said not expecting that.

"Hope you paid attention. We just listed everything that's required to be a hero like Batman." Red Robin said.

"You did? Why?" Babs asks as police lights shined on them.

"The world needs more heroes, if you wanna be Batman's sidekick you gotta be more than just a fan." Batkid said as Commissioner Gordon ran out.

"Barbara, what are you doing here?" He gasps.

"She's all yours officer." Red Robin said as they took out grappling guns and fired them.

"Good luck." Batkid calls out.

"You're gonna need it." Red Robin said as they swung away.

Taking off her helmet, Babs wiped the tears from her eyes as her dad ran to her.

"Dad?" Barbara said turning to him.

"It's okay honey, you're safe. Oh, this is all my fault. I never should have agreed to work in such a horrible, crime-ridden place." Commissioner Gordon said.

"But dad—"

"Someday, I'm gonna get you outta here, Barbara. Gotham City is no place for a family." He declares.

Flashback End:

"I can't believe that Robin kid is Batman's sidekick. I mean Red Robin and Batkid kinda resemble the mood but he's not even on theme." Babs said.

"Wow so you've been a fan of Batman forever." Tikki said.

"More like stalker." Faang mumbles before Tikki elbows him

"So after that I studied every piece of advice Red Robin and Batkid told me improving my skills to get Batman to notice me. But then, we moved away before it could happen. And now…" Babs finishes.

"And now you have us." Jessica said.

"You're a great hero Babs." Marinette said.

"Yeah not to mention you helped our team form." Sam said.

"Hey how about we have a night out at Sweet Justice?" Zee offers.

"Aw man. I can't. Mom's working late so that means it's daddy-daughter date night." Babs frowns. "Me and my dad spend the night eating popcorn and watching Princess Pumpkin Pants movies. It's the worst."

"Come on Babs it doesn't sound that bad." Sam said.

"Yeah it actually sounds nice." Marinette agrees.

"Maybe when I was a little kid." Babs said.

"So it's the last night you two will be Lady Claw and Mister Bug, any big plans?" Jessica asks.

"Nah, Tikki and I are just gonna hang out for our last night together." Sam said.

"Shame, those earrings are starting to work for you." Zee giggles.

"Uh I don't know about that." Sam blushes.

That night, Babs was in her PJs as her dad put on the movie and a catchy jingle turned on.

"Princess Pumpkin Pants. Heiress to the crown. She's got a grin that's saccharin. And sweetest in her town." Gordon and Babs sang one singing happier than the other. I bet you can guess who.

"Oops, forgot the popcorn. Can't have daddy-daughter date night without popcorn." Gordon smiles getting up.

"No, it's okay, Dad." Babs said but it was too late.

Putting on an apron Gordon started popping the popcorn.

Sighing Babs wished she could be anywhere but here when she heard a phone ring from her dad's office.

"O-M-Jeepers, is that the Batphone?" Babs squeals. "Dad! Dad!"

However the loud popping noises canceled out his daughter's calls so he didn't hear her.

Sneaking into his office, Babs cleared her throat, adjusted her hair and put a comb over her mouth to mimic a mustache.

"Commissioner Gordon here. What's shaking, Batman?" Babs asks mimicking her father's voice.

On the other line she heard a small mumbling noise.

"Uh, could you repeat that, Batman? I'm all old and stuff and my hearing's not so good." Babs asks.

"Give the phone to Robin." Batkid's voice echoed on the other line.

"Yeah look. Batman says there's a big-time villain headed your way. A Gotham villain, capisce? At the Metropolis pesticide plant. You gonna give us back-up or what?" Robin asks talking for them now.

Hearing this Babs couldn't help but squeal.

"You want butter on your popcorn, Pumpkin Pants?" Gordon calls out.

"No thanks!" Babs calls out briefly breaking character.

"What was that?" Robin asks.

"Uh. That was me, I call myself Pumpkin Pants sometimes. Anyhoo, gotta go." Babs said using her dad voice before hanging up.

Running up to her room, Babs grabs her Bat Knight doll.

"This is it, Bat Knight, old buddy, old pal. Tonight we're gonna show Batman what we got. Tonight we cannot be denied. Tonight we join—"

"Popcorn time!" Gordon calls out.

Quickly running back down to the couch, Babs beat her dad there as he walked in with a big bowl of popcorn.

Letting out a yawn, Babs stretched her arms. "Gosh, I'm pooped all of a sudden. I might turn in early." Babs said.

"But what about daddy-daughter date night?" He asks.

"It was a good one. Good night!" Babs said running to her room much to her father's disappointment.

"But...You love Princess Pumpkin Pants." Gordon frowns sadly.

Leaping out of her room, Batgirl pulls out her motor scooter and puts Bat Knight in the basket before driving off.

Inside the house, the Batphone rang again and this time Gordon answered it.

"Batman? Wait. What are you talking about?" He asks before sighing. "All right, but hurry up. I've got dishes to do."

Walking out Commissioner Gordon got in his car and drove away.

On the streets of Metropolis, Batgirl was racing through the streets eager to meet up with Batman.

"If we pull this off, Bat Knight, I see big opportunities in our future. I see glory, I see…Dad?" Gasping Batgirl saw her dad driving in the lane across from her.

As they stopped at a red light Batgirl quickly ducked down so her dad didn't see her face.

When the light turned green Gordon drove ahead not noticing Batgirl behind him.

"Ugh I need help to lose him." Batgirl said taking out her phone.

Above the bakery, Sam was walking out the bathroom in his pajamas drying his hair from his shower.

"Man nothing like a hot shower after a long day of training." Sam sighs sitting down.

At his desk, Tikki was sitting by him as he typed on a laptop.

Going onto it, Sam started typing Ladyblog but no results came up.

"Well it was worth a shot." Sam sighs.

"Wondering if Alya's in this world too?" Tikki asks.

"Sorta I mean, if Chloe's here odds are more of our friends are. It would be nice to have some more friendly faces here." Sam admits.

"Sam, did you like Alya?" Tikki asks.

"Well sorta I mean she was nice but well…I never got to find out if we could be more than friends like Marinette and Adrien." Sam said.

"Really did Alya make you go uh hi oop blech." Tikki said mimicking a stuttering Marinette making him laugh.

"No she didn't but I forgot how funny stuttering Marinette is." Sam smiles.

"Maybe Alya is here, but for all we know she could be different from the one we know." Tikki said.

"So what do you think I should do?" Sam asks.

"I say, we keep our eyes open for new and old friends but in the meantime we enjoy the friends we know we have." Tikki said.

"You're a wise little kwami Tikki." Sam said taking out a sugar cookie.

"Aw I try." Tikki smiles taking the cookie.

In her room, Marinette was laying in her bed, looking at her phone. On it she and Faang saw pics of her with her mom, dad and even her grandma.

"That's a nice family you got there." Faang said.

"Thanks Faang, I wonder if there's a version of them here." Marinette said.

"Maybe your father is a celebtrity baker with his own show." Faang said making her laugh.

"My papa on TV? Now that would be a funny show." Marinette said.

"And what do you think your mom would be doing?" Faang asks.

"She'd probably be his manager." Marinette smiles.

"They sound fun." Faang said.

"They are. Hey Faang what was Sam's family like?" Marinette asks.

"Well I only knew them from the time Sam moved to Paris but they were nice. They were trying to get their little tech business up and running but they often had Sam join in and help them and they always loved talking ideas with him. They were a nice family." Faang said.

"Sounds like they were great." Marinette said when her phone rang showing it was Barbara calling. "Hey Babs what's up?"

"I need your help, trouble in the city and my dad is literally in eye distance. I need you to help get me there before he sees me." Batgirl whispers.

"We'll be right there." Marinette said getting up.

Going to his room, Marinette knocks on the door.

"We got trouble." Marinette said.

"Well looks we get to transform one more time." Tikki said.

Peeking outside they saw Miranda and Victor had gone to bed already.

"Let's make it count. Tikki, Spots on!" Sam said as his earrings glowed and he transformed into Mister Bug.

"Faang, Teeth out!" Marinette said as her bracelet glowed and she transformed into Lady Claw.

On the streets of Metropolis, Batgirl was struggling to make it to the Pesticide Plant but almost everywhere she turned she there was her dad.

Stopping at a red light, Gordon looked over but Batgirl hid behind a truck.

"Come on guys." Batgirl whimpers as the truck turned away.

But just as she was about to be in his line of sight a yoyo wrapped around her arm and yanks her away.

Landing in an alley, Batgirl saw Lady Claw and Mister Bug standing in front of her.

"You called?" Mister Bug asks retracting his yoyo.

"Oh man am I glad to see you guys." Batgirl said.

"What happened to father-daughter date night?" Mister Bug asks.

"Oh you know, police work. Crime doesn't take a day off you know what I mean?" Batgirl asks as Lady Claw popped her head out to see Gordon pull out a cd titled Communicating with Your Teenage Daughter with a sad expression on his face.

"It doesn't look like your dad wants to be out here." Lady Claw turns around. "And I think you might know why."

"What? Why would I know?" Batgirl asks nervously.

"Batgirl what's going on?" Mister Bug asks.

"Alright well you see my dad was driving me nuts with all the smothering, singing along to theme song making popcorn but then the night was saved when the Batphone called. Can you believe? Batman is coming to Metropolis and he wanted help dealing with a Gotham villain at the Pesticide Plant. I finally get my shot after all these years. So when I heard I pretended to be tired so I could sneak out and come catch the villain by myself and impress Batman. Pretty awesome right?" Batgirl explains.

However instead of being amazed Lady Claw and Mister Bug had their jaws dropped in shock.

"Yep so amazed you don't even know what to say." Batgirl assumes.

"What the heck is wrong with you?!" They both snapped startling her.

"Huh?" Batgirl said confused.

"I haven't seen my parents in forever and yours was willing to do all that just for you!" Mister Bug said.

"I'd kill to be able to spend time with my parents again and you ditched him for Batman without a second thought?!" Lady Claw asks.

"I had to he's Batman!" Batgirl said.

"And he's more important than your family?" Lady Claw asks.

"Guys don't get me wrong I love my dad, but come on it was a movie night. It's not that big of a deal." Batgirl said.

"Maybe to you, but did you ever think maybe your dad likes it? Having a whole a night with his own daughter no work, no interruptions, no crime just you." Mister Bug said.

"I…I never thought of it like that before." Batgirl realized.

She was so focused on what she wanted she never considered her dad's feelings.

"Maybe Red Robin and Batkid we're right. Be a hero, not a fan." Lady Claw said as they leaped onto the roof.

"If you want to come help us stop the villain you better hurry." Mister Bug said as they ran across the rooftops.

As Batgirl followed after she couldn't help but think about how true that was.

Her dad was so excited to spend the night with her but the second Batman called she ditched him without even a second thought.

At the Metropolis Pesticide Plant, the three heroes arrive.

"Alright the villain is in there." Mister Bug said taking out his yoyo while Lady Claw drew her sword.

"And neither is Batman." Batgirl said grabbing her Bat Knight doll.

As they ran inside none of them noticed large vines coming out the back to surround the place.

"All right villain show yourself." Batgirl said as they walked deeper inside.

Suddenly as if on cue the ceiling started to crack and large vines shot down the hall at them.

"Whoa!" Moving forward Lady Claw slashes the vines in half but they kept coming.

Throwing her bataraangs Batgirl slices them but the vines wouldn't stop.

"This way!" Mister Bug said grabbing them both and running down the hall.

Running into a lab for cover the three heroes see a teenage girl with bright red hair, green skin and a costume that looked like it was made entirely of plants.

"Poison Ivy." Batgirl gasps.

"You know her?" Mister Bug asks.

"Oh yeah, and she's trouble." Batgirl gulps.

"How curious. For a moment there I could have sworn you were Batman." Poison Ivy said.

"Really? Was it the costume specifically, or the ninja skills, or—" Batgirl smiles.

"Batgirl!" Mister Bug and Lady Claw snap telling her to stop talking.

"You two are new, no matter. Put them in the ground my lovelies." Poison Ivy orders as some large Venus Fly Traps attacked them.

Swinging her sword, Lady Claw slashes at them to keep them away.

"These vines won't stop growing." Lady Claw said.

"If only we had a hedge cutter to cut through all those vines." Mister Bug said.

"The Lucky Charm doesn't just give you what you want." Lady Claw said.

"Lucky Charm!" Mister Bug threw the yoyo into the air and a hedge cutter appeared. "Hey a hedge cutter."

"What? I mean Beginner's Luck." Lady Claw scoffs looking away.

"Mmm maybe I should be giving you Ladybug tips." Mister Bug smirks reving it up.

Gasping Poison Ivy screamed in horror as Mister Bug chopped her plants in half with his saw.

"You monster!" Poison Ivy snaps hurling all her vines at Mister Bug sending him tumbling down the hall.

Grabbing his Hedge cutter, Lady Claw and Batgirl cut him free much to Poison Ivy's rage.

"Sorry but we gotta make like a tree and leave!" Batgirl said helping him up.

Running away from the plants they leaped down to the bottom floor where a giant vat of pestilence was bubbling.

"You won't get away that easily!" Poison Ivy said having her plants chase after them.

Turning around Lady Claw took a deep breath. "Moon Call!" As her bracelet glowed Lady Claw released a sonic howl that not only blasted Poison Ivy back but sliced all her plants in half.

"Whoa mine's never been that strong." Mister Bug said.

"A little anger makes the howl stronger; did you not know that?" Lady Claw smirks making him the jealous one this time. "Maybe I should keep Faang full time."

"Beginner's luck." Mister Bug scoffs.

"Uh guys! Can we save this argument for later?" Batgirl said.

Following her into a room, they looked to see it was full of small plants.

"Uh oh wrong turn." Mister Bug gulps as Poison Ivy recovers.

As Mister Bug and Lady Claw tried to barricade the door Batgirl took out a flashlight with the bat signal on it and shined outside.

"What are you doing?" Lady Claw asks.

"I'm trying to call Batman for help, but I don't see the Bat Signal." Batgirl said.

"Seriously?!" Mister Bug and Lady Claw said so sick of her Batman obsession.

Breaking through the glass, the vines whacked Mister Bug and Lady Claw to the ground allowing Poison Ivy to enter.

"That silly little thing only shines in the polluted skies over Gotham." Poison Ivy said entering the room.

"So why did you come here? Sounds like Gotham needs plants more than Metropolis." Lady Claw asks.

"I tried to save that toxic cesspool, but Gotham is lost. Nothing green will ever grow there again. I can still save Metropolis, though. Return it to the glorious forest it once was. Would you like to know how?" Poison Ivy asks.

"Uh recycling?" Mister Bug asks.

"Community gardens?" Lady Claw guesses.

"Ooh I know about some great energy efficient lightbulbs." Batgirl suggests.

"By destroying all the pests!" Poison Ivy roars as all the plants around them erupted into giant vines trapping Batgirl. "Humans are vermin in the garden of life. Locusts, termites, cockroaches! I'll exterminate them all."

Mister Bug and Lady Claw tried to counter but Ivy's vines blocked their path.

"Nothing can stop me, not even a silly girl in a bat costume." Ivy said when Bat Knight fell out of Batgirl's pocket. "What's this? You bought your dumb little dolly to fight me? You're even sillier than I thought." Poison Ivy laughs holding it up.

'Come on there's gotta be a way to stop her.' Mister Bug thought.

Looking around for a way to win this Mister Bug looked at his Hedge cutter and saw what he had to do.

"Batgirl remember what you told us about Bat Knight?!" Mister Bug calls out.
Smiling Batgirl remembered. "He's not a dolly!" Throwing her batarrangs up she cut herself free allowing her to take Bat Knight back. "He's the bomb!" Puling the string, Bat Knight's eyes began to glow red.

"Wait that thing is an actual bomb?" Lady Claw said not expecting that.

Tying Bat Knight's pull string to the hedge cutter, Mister Bug pulls with all his might making it rev loudly.

Throwing it, the hedge cutter sliced through all the vines allowing Bat Knight to land right in the vat of pesticide.

"NO!" Poison Ivy screams in horror as the bomb explodes sending pestilence throughout the plant and killing all the plants inside.

"My darlings, what have they done to you?" Poison Ivy coughs as the three heroes emerge from the smoke with masks on their faces.

"Not bad for three silly little heroes huh?" Batgirl asks.

After tying up Poison Ivy and bringing her outside, Mister Bug took a deep breath.

"Last chance. Miraculous Mister Bug!" Throwing the Hedge cutter into the air he undid all the damages and even fixed up Bat Knight.

"Pound it." The three heroes fist bump just as a car pulls up.

"Batman?" Batgirl gasps excited.

However when the lights turned off we see it was Commissioner Gordon.

"Dad?" She said before clearing her throat.

"Commissioner Gordon good to see you." Lady Claw said getting his attention.

"Hey you're those Miraculous Heroes I heard about and is that Batgirl? What are you doing here?" Gordon asks.

"Oh, you know, just nipping some crime in the bud." Batgirl said trying to deepen her voice.

"I believe you might want this." Mister Bug said handing Ivy to him.

Putting her in the back seat of his car, Gordon closes the door when his phone rang.

"Oh hey Batman. No don't worry we got Ivy so you don't need to come." Gordon said.

Gasping Batgirl wanted to rush over there and brag that she helped when she felt a hand on her shoulder.

Looking over she saw Lady Claw looking at her with a serious face.

"Do you want to be a hero or a fan?" She asks.

Batgirl opened her mouth and paused for a few seconds before remembering what Red Robin and Batkid told her. "A hero." She said.

"Well all righty then, I'm going home. Thanks for the help." Gorodn said turning to them.

"You're welcome sir." Mister Bug smiles when their Miraculous beeped.

"Uh we gotta go." Lady Claw said as they ran away before their cover was blown.

"Hey Batgirl I gotta ask. Why aren't you Batman's sidekick? I always thought you were more capable than that Robin twerp. I mean Red Robin and Batkid I get, but that guy isn't even on theme." Gordon said making Batgirl smile widely and hug her dad. "Oh wow you really take a compliment."

"Uh sorry, just…thank you." Batgirl smiles.

However the beautiful moment was ruined when they heard a loud noise.

Turning around they saw some of Ivy's weeds had ripped the door open allowing her to escape.

"Can you do me a favor and not mention this to Batman?" Gordon asks.

Cringing Batgirl knew this wasn't the last they would see of Poison Ivy.

At Barbara's house, Babs was sewing up her Bat Knight doll as she and her dad were sitting down.

"Everything okay, Pumpkin Pants?" Gordon asks.

"Yeah I'm great." Barbara smiles putting the batman doll down.

"I was surprised to see you waiting for me when I got home. I thought you were tired." Gordon said.

"Of daddy-daughter date night? No way." Babs smiles as the two of them sang the jingle together enjoying their movie.

At their place, Sam and Marinette took off the earrings and bracelet.

"Well Tikki, it's been quite a week." Sam smiles.

"It was fun Sam." Tikki smiles.

"Hey Tikki keep an eye on this one. She's a keeper." Faang said making Marinette giggle.

"Thanks Faang, if you ever need a wielder and Sam isn't around come looking for me." Marinette smiles.

"Deal." Faang said as Sam put the bracelet back on and Marinette put her earrings back on.

"Now this is more like it." Marinette said.

"Hey Marinette, I gotta say after being Mister Bug for the last week I got a whole new respect for you." Sam said surprising her.

"Really?" Marinette asks.

"I mean it, I realized how much responsibility you have as Ladybug. Calling the shots, making sure everyone was okay and the importance of your powers. You're amazing." Sam smiles making her blush.

"Well it was pretty wild being Lady Claw. I may have had it tough as the leader, but you're like the ultimate support. Always making sure that those who needed it had the help they needed. I'm lucky you and I are a team." Marinette smiles causing Sam to blush.

Slowly both teens look away to hide their expressions.

"So uh, see you tomorrow morning?" Sam asks.

"Yeah uh night." Marinette said as they both headed to their rooms.

'She/ he totally likes him/her.' Tikki and Faang thought happy to be back with their respective partners.
