Weeks have passed since the whole fiasco with the Slip-skin hag and things have turned back to normal for Kagome. Her wounds had healed but her doctor told her that she was lucky. If the hag had aimed a little lower to the right she would have hit an organ. So for the last few days she had been able to keep herself busy with work and an event that was coming up.
Kagome looked at herself in the mirror. She had bought a new dress for the hospital's charity event and she wanted to make sure it was appropriate for it. It was a floor length black dress, with a slit on the side. She had decided to have her hair down with a white rose pinned to the side. To match the flower color she wore her pearl earrings and matching necklace. Liking what she saw she put the last touch of lipstick on before grabbing her coat and headed out.
This years' charity event was a Gala. There was food, dancing, entertainment and a silent auction that always had good prizes. She also heard that there was a surprise auction but no one would tell her what it was. It didn't bother her as she was having a great time playing poker with some of her colleagues and other guests. She learned how to play from her college roommate and she has gotten good at it. She always cleaned out Richard and his friends whenever they had their poker nights. Everything was fun till Doctor Tanner wanted to up the stakes and get a date out of her. Oh she wanted to slap that smirk off his face. The man was married and he wanted to try and get a date from her. She knew that she had a good hand but before she could say anything someone started clearing the mic to catch everyone's attention.
"I guess it's time for the auction." One of the female doctors said
"What kind of auction is it?" Kagome asked
"It's a dating auction." Another doctor said
'Oh, Kami, no.' Kagome thought
She remembered that they always auction off those that are single and attractive. Carl saved her last time when this happened.
'I wonder if there's a way I could sneak out without anyone noticing.' She thought.
They had started off with the men first and it was a big hit. No matter how many times she sees it she is always surprised how these rich folks would spend. When they were done with the last man auction it was time for the women auction. Kagome happened to be one of the few seven women that were chosen. Luckily she was the last one.
'This is for charity. This is for charity.' She was mentally telling herself.
Sadly, timing wasn't on her side today it seems as it was going faster than she thought. The first six girls were already auctioned off and now it was her turn.
"The bidding starts at $20,000."
"$30,000!"
Kagome did her best not to glare when she saw that it was Tanner that had bidded first. Thankfully, other people started to bid on her. After a few minutes her bid got up to $70,000.
"$80,000!" Tanner yelled
'Someone please save me.' She mentally thought.
"$100,000!"
'Wait, I know that voice.' She thought. 'Why is he here?'
Everyone gasped at the amount.
"$100,000 going once, going twice." The announcer called. "Sold! To the man on the right side of the hall. Come on up and receive your prize."
When the man came up, Kagome was right about who it was.
"The highest bidder is Hannibal Lecter, congratulations." The announcer said
Hannibal took Kagomes' hand into his and kissed it while keeping eye contact with her.
"I wasn't expecting to see you here." She said as they walked off the stage.
"I've always been a strong believer in benefiting the medical field." He said
"Well…thank you for saving me up there." She said "There was a certain someone that I wanted to avoid."
Hannibal looked where Doctor Tanner was. The said man was at the bar and was now trying to hit on one of the nurses that was there.

Kagome thought he was gonna skin the man alive.
"Yes, I saw that." He said "The man has no shame."
"No he does not." She agreed. "Or has any respect for his marriage."
One of the waiters walked by them with a tray of champagne. Hannibal took two and handed one to her.
"Would you like to get some fresh air?" Hannibal asked
"Yes, please." She nodded
The two headed outside where there was a beautiful water fountain that was surrounded by bushes of roses.
"So beautiful isn't it." She whispered
When he said nothing she looked at him and saw that he was just looking at her. She didn't know what to make of it but his gaze made her want to blush.
"So…Hannibal…what do you have in mind for the date you won?" She asked
He smirked before taking a sip of his champagne.
"It's a surprise."
"I'm not very fond of surprises, Hannibal." She teased
"Believe me when I say that you'll love it." He smiled
Slow music started to play and he asked her to dance. Unable to say no he took her hand into his and led her to the dance floor. He twirled her around before placing a hand around her waist. Feeling her body close to him was what he always wanted. He wanted more. Oh how he wanted so much more from her. But he knew it would come soon. For now he was just gonna enjoy the time he has with her. He was glad that she was no longer tense around him. She was finally feeling comfortable with him.
They danced for at least two more songs till Kagome needed a break. She sat at a table as he went to get them another drink. Without anyone noticing, Hannibal placed some pills into Kagome's drink. He didn't want her to leave him just now. He has been watching her all night and he knew that she already had a few drinks. So she wouldn't be suspicious. Tonight she was gonna stay with him. Once the pills had dissolved into her drink Hannibal walked back to the table and handed her the drink. His eyes gleamed in delight once she took a sip.
After a while Kagome started to feel a bit drowsy. She kept leaning against Hannibal's shoulder and had to cover her yawns.
"I think it's time for me to go home." She said
She tried to get up but her legs were getting wobbly.
"Let me take you home." Hannibal said
"I was gonna take a cab but I think that would be for the best. I…must've had too much to drink." She said
He helped her up and kept her studying as they walked towards the valet parking. When the valet guy arrived with his Bentley Hannibal gently secured Kagome in the passenger side. By the time he got on the road Kagome passed out.
When he arrived at his house he carried her, bridal style, to the room that was next to his. He would have preferred her in his room but he knew that looked bad. Once she was settled in the bed he carefully took off her jewelry and her heels. As he took off her heels he gently started caressing her legs to her thighs. Her skin was so soft that he wanted to love marks on her to show everyone that she was his. Then he leaned in close to her hair as he took out the pinned rose and inhaled her scent. He moaned in delight. Her scent was so intoxicating to him.

The next morning Kagome woke up groggy but was feeling a little confused. Besides the fact that she was sleeping on soft silk sheets, Bear hasn't come in to wake her up. Opening her eyes she saw that she wasn't in her room. Or the fact that she was in her own apartment. She tried to remember what happened last night but all she got was a headache. As she sat up, she looked at the nightstand next to her and there was a glass of water and some aspirin. She didn't question it as she wanted the pounding in her head to stop and took the pills.
After waiting a few moments for the headache to go away she decided to get up. She took everything in and after seeing how lavish everything was she believed that she was in Hannibals' house.
"Why am I here?" She muttered
She tried to find the bedroom door but there were two in the room and she wasn't sure which it was. After choosing one she quickly closed it with wide eyes and her face turning red. The door she chose led to a bathroom suit and in the room was Hannibal. He was just coming out of the shower and he was still naked when she opened the door.
He lightly chuckled when he heard her squeak in embarrassment and placed a towel around his waist. The master bathroom was connected to both his bedroom and hers. He didn't think she would be awake by now but was glad that he didn't lock the door. Once he put some clothes on he knocked on the door.
"May I come in?" He asked
"Yes." She said
When he opened the door he saw her fixing the bed. He mentally smirked as she still had a little blush across her cheek.
"I'm sorry about that. This room hasn't been used in a while so I forgot to lock that side of the door." He said
"It's…alright. Um…why am I here by the way?" She asked
"I'm sorry. You passed out by the time we got to your apartment. I couldn't wake you to get the passcode, so I thought it would be best that I brought you here." He explained.
"Oh…" She said
'Was I really that drunk last night?' She thought
"Thank you for the aspirin." She said
"I thought you might need them." He said "Do you think you can stomach some food?"
"I'm actually starving." She said
He smiled at those words.
"I'll make us some breakfast while you take a shower." He said
He gave her some products that he had for guests, for her to use in the shower. After looking at them she raised a brow as they were stuff that she liked to use. Believing that she was just over thinking she just shook it off and went to the bathroom. Once her feet met the heated sensor floor, she nearly moaned. I felt so nice.
She placed the product in the walk-in shower and turned on the water. As she was waiting for the water to get warm she looked through her phone and saw she still had fifty percent of power left. She used it to call Jill, hoping that she could take Bear out so he could do his business.
"Ah, yeah girl, no problem but where are you?" Jill asked "Did you get a hot date last night?"
"I…got a bit drunk last night. And…ended up staying at Hannibals' place." Kagome said
"What? Really? How did that happen?" Jill asked
"He was at the charity event…and he….won a date with me at the auction." Kagome said
"Oh, wow." Jill said
Once the water was at the perfect temp Kagome thanked Jill once again before ending the call. After making sure both doors were locked she undressed herself and headed inside the nice warm water.

After breakfast Hannibal had taken Kagome back to her apartment but it was only for her to change for their date. He told her that he was taking her and Bear on a hike. This made her smile as she liked doing outdoor activities but she was also confused. She didn't take Hannibal as an outdoor kind of guy. So she got into her winter hiking gear as snow was starting to show and headed back to Hannibals' car with a happy leashed Bear.
As much as Kagome hates to admit it, she actually had a great time with Hannibal. Not only did he keep up with her and Bear on the trail but he always surprised her. When they were half way on the trail Hannibal had spotted a beautiful spot with some wildflowers still showing. Next he took out a thick blanket and placed it next to the wildflowers. It turned out he had packed a picnic for them. He packed and made them a thermos of hot French Onion soup, along with roast beef and cheese sandwiches and homemade salt and vinegar chips, with some sliced vegetables as side dishes. To drink he had another thermos of lapsang souchong tea, which was perfect for the winter weather. Everything was homemade. Kagome felt a little guilty as he must have worked on this all last night. After their picnic they made it to the top of the mountain. It was a beautiful sight to see. And that's when it happened.
When she was looking at the beautiful forest she felt his gaze on her again. She turned to him and he was standing very close to her. He placed a piece of hair behind her ear and leaned down to kiss her. When she felt his lips on her she felt herself melt into him. He mentally smirked as she was giving into him and pulled her closer to him.

The next day Kagome was woken up by the sound of knocking at her door. She groaned as she just wanted to sleep. But she got up when Bear started barking. With a huff she got out of bed and placed her robe on before shushing Bear. She looked through the peep-hole and saw that it was Carl, Roger and Jill.
"You guys know this is my day to sleep-in right." She sighed
"Baby girl, we heard you had a date with Hannibal Lecter." Carl said
"So?" Kagome said
"And we want to hear about it." Roger pleaded, "Come on, honey, spill the tea with us."
Kagome groaned again and leaned her head against the door. They're never gonna let this go.
"Please, sweetie. We even brought breakfast and your favorite coffee." Jill pleaded.
"And fresh bear claws from that pastry shop you love so much." Roger sang.
Oh, he knew her weakness.
Unable to say no to that she let them in. They set up their breakfast trays on her dining table while she gave Bear his meal.
"Okay, how did this happen?" Jill asked as she handed Kagome her coffee.
"Yeah, I thought you didn't like the guy." Carl said as he put hot sauce on his spinach and feta cheese omelet.
"He was at the hospital charity event and he…won at the surprise date auction they had." Kagome said before taking a bite of her waffle.
"How much did he bid?" Roger and Jill asked
"$100.000.00." She muttered
"Girlllll…" Jill said, placing a hand on her chest in shock.
"I don't know if I should feel jealous of you or be mad for you." Roger said
Carl slapped his arm.
"I'm just saying. It's everyones' dream to have a sugar daddy." Roger shrugged
"Is that what I am to you?" Carl asked
"Oh, don't you start. That's not what I mean…" Roger sighed
"Ladies! This is about Kagome, remember." Jill glared
"Right, sorry Honey." Roger said
"I just see this as a red flag. I think he could have asked you without bidding on you for a date." Carl said "We've all known he had a thing for you."
"Better him than adulter Dr. tanner." Kagome said
"That sleaze ball is still trying?" Jill scoffed "How hasn't he got sued for sextual harassment yet?"
Kagome chuckled after taking another bite of her meal.
"Okay, so we know how he got a date with you. What happened next?" Roger asked
"Yeah, Jill said that you spend the night at his house." Carl said
"Did you two…" Roger asked
"No." Kagome glared and threw a piece of egg at him.
"Roger." Carl glared and slapped his fiance's arm again.
"What?" Roger asked
"No, I had too much to drink and he just let me sleep in his spare room." She said
She started to blush as she remembered what happened that morning.
"You're blushing. Why are you blushing? What happened?" Roger smirked
"The spare room happened to be connected to his master bathroom as well and…I…accidently walked in on him…coming out of the shower." She blushed.
All three of them went quiet. Their eyes wide with an oh face and lean in closer to her.
"And? How much did you see?" Roger asked
"Half waist with a towel or full view of everything?" Carl asked
"I saw…everything." Kagome blushed
"Oh you lucky bitch." Roger said, as he was fanning his face.
"So was he…packing, packing?" Jill asked
All Kagome could do was nod.
"Now I'm wishing that I was you." Carl said
"I'm not even mad at that statement, baby, cause we're all wishing that we were her at that moment." Roger sighed
"Are you three done fantasizing right now or do you want me to continue what happened on our date?" Kagome asked dryly.
"Sorry, baby girl, continued." Carl said
"He took me on a hike and he made a picnic for me." She said "And when we got to the top of the mountain he kissed me. Then we went back to his place and he made me dinner."
"Aw, that's so romantic." Jill smiled
"So…is there gonna be another date?" Roger asked
Before she could tell them her doorbell rang again. There was no one there but she saw something in front of the door. It was a small box. She brought it inside thinking it was from Hannibal. But when she opened it she had to stop herself from screaming.
The gift was from the Chesapeake Ripper. Inside the box were a pair of green eyes.

In the secret underground basement of Hannibals' home, Dr. Tanner was chained up on a metal table with his eyes socket empty and his tongue missing. His face was beaten up a bit as Hannibal couldn't hold back his anger when he captured the man. Hannibal couldn't forgive how the man lusted after his Kagome. The thought of this man still working with her and might try taking advantage of her made his blood boil.
"Don't worry, my love." He said "This man will never hurt you again."
He picked up a special blade and started skinning the man alive.
A loving smile formed on his face at the thought of his next date with Kagome. He'll make a special dish with this man as a main ingredient. If things keep going well he might not have to kidnap her. She'll love him and be all his.
