Las time, Machinedramon attacked the castle of the Gekomon and ShogunGekomon. ShogunGekomon bravely fought against Machinedramon, but he was sadly no match for him. Meanwhile, the children made their way to an abandoned fortress, where the next stone possibly lies. As Mason and Benson went searching for the next stone, the others made tried to fend off Machinedramon. As they searched around, Mason might have found what they all have been looking for.

The Sincere Prince
"Boys! I hope you're hungry! I made Tyson's favorite!" Mrs. Kamiya called.
"Thank you." Malcolm said. It's not easy having your parents being held captive by evil digimon, but both Malcolm and Tyson lost their parents when they recently admitted they were together. Their two families might have been coming together, but now they've been forced apart. "I just want to say thanks again for letting me stay here."
"Why wouldn't I? You are my first grandson, and now we finally get to spend some time together." Mrs. Kamiya said as she has a chance to make up for all that lost time.
"It is really nice of you to let both Tyson and Malcolm stay with you." Agumon said.
"Of course. They are both Tai's kids." Mrs. Kamiya said. "I've talked to Mimi's parents and Michael, and they're all fine letting Malcolm stay here. Plus it makes things a little lively around here. Still, I'm really worried about Tai and Kari. I know they're both grown adults, but a parent can't help but worry."
"I think Kari knows exactly how you feel. Ever since Musuko and the kids were pulled into this, Kari hasn't been able to stop worrying." Agumon said.
"Yeah, but if Mason and the others were able to beat that Daemon guy, they can beat these Dark Masters." Malcolm claimed.
"Agumon, aren't these awful digimon the same ones you beat before. Isn't there anything the kids can do?" Mrs. Kamiya asked.
"As long as they stick together, they'll be fine. They'll just keep getting stronger and stronger." Agumon said. "Of course, defeating the Dark Masters won't be easy. They're even stronger than before."
"But they'll be fine, and they'll all be back." Malcolm said.
"Let's hope you're right, especially for Tyson's sake." Agumon said. They all looked at poor Tyson while the other digimon tried to cheer him up, but he wouldn't even crack a smile. "Poor Tyson has already lost his mother. He can't lose Tai."
"He won't." Malcolm said. "I really meant it. My little brother, Mason, is special. He and the others will prevail." 'Come on, Mason. Don't make me a liar. Come back with Mom and the others.' He thought as he is trying to believe in his brother.

The Digital World
Mason and Palmon searched the fortress for the next stone, but they might have found something else instead. They stood before a statue of a digimon they've never seen before.
"Wow. That's one impressive statue." Mason said.
"This must be the digimon that turned this place from a wasteland to a forest." Palmon said.
"What about that green light? What is that?" Mason questioned.
"Mason, look right at the eye." Palmon said. Mason took a closer look at the eye and could see a glowing green rock in there.
"The stone! We found it!" Mason said. "The stone is in the statue!"
"It's great that we found it, but how do we get it out of the statue?" Palmon questioned. "Should we break the statue to get it?"
"I don't feel comfortable doing that." Mason claimed. He needs to figure out how he's going to get it out of there. As he was thinking, the two of them felt the whole place shake. "What's going on out there?!" Needing to know, he jumped up to a window and looked to see what was happening with the others. It wasn't looking good as Machinedramon was trying to tear through the others.

The Fight
"Giga Cannon!" Machinedramon opened fire with his cannons and tried to blast his enemies. The problem was that if UlforceVeddramon moves, he'll blast the fortress with the others still inside. That's why he pulled out a shield and tried to block the attacks.
"Do you really think you can keep me out of there?" Machinedramon said. They were surely going to try. Angewomon flew around and got behind Machinedramon to try and attack from back there. She had an arrow ready to go, but Machinedramon's sensors detected her. That's why he had an energy whip form out of his tail and smashed it against her.
"Man. That machine is fully loaded." Musuko said.
"We don't have to beat him. We just need to hold him off long enough for the others to get back, with or without the stone." Natalie said. "Maybe there's a chance we were wrong and it's not here."
"Don't try to fool me. The stone is here, and it's mine." Machinedramon claimed as he tried getting closer to it.
"You will not!" Phoenixmon called as she got in the way and tried to push him back.
"Get off!" Machinedramon called as he managed to knock her off.
"Ray of Victory!" UlforceVeedramon attempted to stop him as he unleashed a powerful blast and tried to knock Machinedramon back, but Machinedramon fired his cannons and blasted him. It's unclear how much longer they can last.
"First, I destroyed that oversized frog. Now, I'm going to destroy all of you." Machinedramon claimed.
...
Mason
Mason was able to hear what Machinedramon said and couldn't believe it. He dropped down from the rock and was in shock.
"No... ShogunGekomon... All those poor Gekomon and Otamamon lost their beloved leader..." Mason said.
"Mason we need to figure out how to get this stone out of the statue, or else Machinedramon is going to blow this whole place to pieces." Palmon said. She was right. Mason has to think of something because the others might not be able to hold Machinedramon off much longer.

Benson
Benson and Patamon could feel the tremors of the battle coursing through the place.
"Benson, it doesn't sound good out there." Patamon said.
"Yeah, and I don't think we're close to finding the stone." Benson said.
"Benson!" The two of them looked down the hall and saw Gekomon and Otamamon joining them. "It does not sound good out there! I'm a little worried what might happen if we stay in here much longer! I think it's best that we leave!"
"Yeah, I think you're right. Patamon, let's go." Benson said as he grabbed the digivice.
"Patamon warp digivolve to...Seraphimon!"
Once Patamon became Seraphimon, he grabbed a hold of all three of them and busted right through the wall. When that happened, the others noticed it.
"Benson got out!" Koji said.
"Yeah, but it doesn't look like they found the stone." Natalie said.
"There's one sure way to find it." Machinedramon claimed as he just got a chance.
"Giga Cannon!" Machinedramon opened fired with his cannons and blasted the whole fortress. The others were horrified because Mason could still be in there.
"It would take more than to destroy the stone." Machinedramon claimed.
"Mason!" Musuko called as they were all scared he got caught in the blast.
"You're going to pay for that!" UlforceVeedramon claimed.
"I think not because I think I see it." Machinedramon claimed. He was able to spot the statue in all the rubble, and could see that the stone was in it. "The stone is mine!"
"Stop him!" Musuko called. All of the digimon attempted to stop a Machinedramon, but he just blasted right through them and forced his way through like a tyrannosaurus. It seemed like nothing could stop him now from taking the stone.
"I found it! It's mine!" Machinedramon claimed.
"Stop!" That was when Mason and Palmon came out from behind the statue. "Don't take another step or else!"
"Or else what?" Machinedramon taunted.
"I...haven't thought that part out yet." Mason admitted.
"Don't tell him that!" Palmon said.
"Mason, get out of there!" Natalie called as this standoff wasn't shaping to be anything good.
"Listen to your friend and get out of my way." Machinedramon ordered.
"No, I won't!" Mason said.
"You asked for it." Machinedramon said as he marched closer to them. Palmon knew she had to try and do something to stop him.
"Palmon digivolve to...Togemon!"
"Togemon digivolve to...Lillymon!"
"Flower Cannon!" Lillymon attacked to stop him, but the attack just bounced off him.
"You really think you can defeat me with flowers?" Machinedramon said.
"Why not? Flowers are beautiful and can bring love and peace." Mason said. "You're just a walking machine that brings destruction. What better way to fight someone like you?"
"You've got to be joking." Machinedramon mocked.
"For once, I'm serious." Mason said as he took a firm stance against Machinedramon. "I don't need to be a prince to do that. We're the ones who are going to save the world from you, and save our parents!" He believed that with all his heart, and that caused the stone to react. The stone shined brightly and was able to remove itself from the statue and into Mason's hands. "I knew it. This is the stone for sincerity on it. If Natalie can do it, so can we. Let's go, Lillymon!"
"Right!" Lillymon said as she let the power enveloped her, and she prospered like a flower.
"Lillymon digivolve to..." Lillymon digivolved to a brand new digimon. She digivolved into a humanoid wearing a hot pink outfit with black stilettos that reached her thighs. She also wore two giant leaves like a cape. She also gained long pink hair with vines in it, and kept her glossy eyes. She also gained a vine with a rose on the end to be used like a whip. "Gardeniamon!"
"Wow! I've never seen that digimon before!" Musuko said.
"She's beautiful!" Phoenixmon said.
"And she is the same digimon that resembles the statue." Angewomon said.
"No matter. The stone is still mine." Machinedramon claimed as he still charged.
"I don't think so!" Gardeniamon said as she used her whip. She lashed it around and was leaving some scratches in his armor. Then, she lassoed it around his giant mouth and tried to hold it closed. Machinedramon thrashed around to try and break himself free, but Gardeniamon was holding on. "There!" Gardeniamon pulled herself in and landed right between his cannons. When she was there, she took her whip and severed the cords to his cannons.
"My cannons! They're offline! What have you done?!" Machinedramon said.
"Ending this." Gardeniamon said as she jumped away.
"Rose Energy Whip!" She lashed around and unleashed a series and of energy attacks from her whip. Each attack smashed against Machinedramon.
"Hurry! This is our chance to escape!" Gardeniamon claimed. All of them agreed to that. They all took the kids and hurried out of there before Machinedramon could stop them. He's starting to think he lost this one.
"You might have escaped this time, but you won't be so lucky next time!" Machinedramon called.

The Castle
After what happened, they returned to the castle and put together a memorial for ShogunGekomon.
"As we pay our respects to Lord ShogunGekomon, we'll remember his bravery for all that he did to us." Gekomon said as they all prayed for the day he returns as digimon do.
"Mason, I know this might be the best time, but I just want to say that you acted like a real prince when you faced Machinedramon." Palmon said. "You acted real brave, stayed firm against evil, and you fought for others. In my eyes, those are what makes a prince a great person. I'm sure ShogunGekomon would be glad to know you fought for him and others."
"Thanks, Palmon." Mason said. She was right Mason acted like a real prince because he fought for his people.
"I just wish we could have saved ShogunGekomon." Koji said. "It's so sad on what happened to him."
"That's why we need to defeat the Dark Masters soon." Musuko said. Now they have another reason to fight. With only two stones left to find, that time to defeat the Dark Masters might be coming soon.
...
In the next adventure, the children find themselves at another castle, but on top of mountains, as well as a digimon. What's more is that they must prove they can save both worlds.
