"Sam, I thought that we were seeing each other tomorrow night," Jessica stated as she opened the door to Sam and some guy she didn't know.

"I know Jess, but you deserve the truth. You deserve so much better than me," Sam whispered. His vision clouded with tears.

"What truth? What's going on Sam?" Jessica asked after they had come into her apartment.

"I love you, Jess, I do…but I'm not in love with you. I've been living a lie. Lying to you and myself, but I can't do that anymore. I'm gay Jess…"

"You can't be…I would have known," Jessica whispered.

"It's true, Sam is my boyfriend," Cas explained.

"I hate this lie, Sam. Couldn't you have come up with anything else to dump this needy human," Lucifer stated.

"I've never seen you before, not with Sam, not in any of my classes, not anywhere," Jessica argued.

"Cas is from my hometown of Lawrence, he drove up with my brother to come and get me. I'm leaving school Jess, going back home with Cas. I'm sorry Jess, I never meant to hurt you."

"I don't believe you," Jess said as she started to cry.

"I need you to believe me because it's true. I know that you've always felt like I was hiding a part of myself from you because I was. I'm gay Jessica. I'm in love with Castiel Novak," Sam said. He turned towards Cas and kissed him passionately.

Sam felt a spark as his lips pressed against Cas's, it was supposed to be a lie, but the passion and feelings the kiss evoked were real.

"None of that Sammy. It's just a well-crafted lie of the Angel, but that's all it can be. You belong to me. I don't need to see or feel this. I hate that Angel," Lucifer complained.

"I believe you, Sam. I wish you well, but I need you to leave," Jess stated.

"I'm sorry Jess."

"I know," Jess said. She walked them out and then she ran to her room. Sam winced from the sound of the door slamming.

XOXOXO

"Now that we have some time to ourselves, what other symptoms are you experiencing," Cas asked when they were on their way back to Sam's apartment.

"I hear voices."

"Lucifer's."

"Yes, he's the loudest and most annoying of the voices, but there are others too."

"That's hurtful Sammy," Lucifer pouted.

"What are the other voices saying?"

"Lots of things, but mostly, I know this sounds crazy, but I think they're prayers."

"It sounds like Angel Radio," Cas stated.

"Is there a way to turn off the radio?" Sam asked.

"Yes, I'll teach you the Enochian phrases to turn on and off the radio."

"I wanted to be the one to teach you."

"The only thing I want from you is for you to leave me alone Lucifer."

"I can't do that Sammy, you're my missing half."

"Have you had any other symptoms?" Cas asked as they pulled up to the apartment.

"No, not yet. What do you think is happening to me?" Sam asked.

"I'm not sure, but I think that you might be turning into an Angel," Cas explained.

"An Archangel like me," Lucifer stated.

"I think that you're right. Is their any way to keep me from turning into an Angel?" Sam asked.

"I can do some research, but I don't think this has happened before."

"Yeah, I was afraid of that," Sam said as he climbed out of the car.

"Sammy, are you…"

"I'm fine Dean. I'm going to go pack and then we can be on our way," Sam said as they headed to his room,
