Sam spent half the day learning Enochian with Cas. He had already found the time well spent as he could quiet the prayers from his mind. Lucifer had stayed true to his word and he hadn't said anything else to Sam. The other half of the day Sam taught Cas how to fight and they researched the legends revolving around the lady in white. He still couldn't sleep, and he hadn't been hungry. Cas was positive that it was an additional side effect of becoming an Angel.

"Time to go hunting," Lucifer spoke up after hours of silence just as the alarm on Sam's phone rang out.

"I'll go wake up Dean."

"Sam, I'm going to go invisible for the hunt. I need to be there just in case I'm needed, but I'll stay out of sight," Cas explained.

"Tell my brother he's not needed. I can keep you safe," Lucifer added.

"Thanks, Cas," Sam stated and then he headed to the next room.

"Dean, time to get up," Sam said as he entered the room that he shared with his brother.

"Already," Dean groaned as he opened his eyes. "Did you get any rest, Sammy?" Dean asked.

"A little, I got up a few hours ago," Sam lied. "I researched the Woman in white and legend states that this one girl got murdered out on Centennial. They say that she's still out there and she hitchhikes and whoever picks her up disappears forever. I searched, but couldn't find anything for murdered girls on Centennial," Sam explained as he pulled out his laptop. "Do you have any other ideas on what I could search?" Sam asked.

"So, Angry spirits are born out of violent death, right? Think Sammy, if it's not murder, then what other death could produce that kind of spirit?" Lucifer asked.

"Hmmm, I wonder," Sam said as he searched for suicides on Centennial and found the article.

"What?" Dean asked.

"In 1981 Constance Welch jumped from Centennial bridge, drowning herself in the river. The article said that an hour before she jumped, she called 911 because her two little kids drowned in the bathtub. Both kids died and she couldn't bear it," Sam explained.

"Let's get some food and then we'll go to the bridge," Dean stated.

XOXOXO

"Aren't you hungry?" Dean asked as he looked at Sam.

"Not really," Sam answered as he pushed around the lettuce on his plate. He had tried eating, but it was overwhelming, disgusting really.

He drank his beer while he waited for Dean to finish eating.

"Sammy, I can teach you how to vanquish the ghost with the snap of your fingers," Lucifer offered.

"No," Sam answered.

"What? I didn't say anything?" Dean asked as he looked at his brother quizzically.

"I meant to say I'm going to wait for you at the car," Sam said and then headed out.

"Great Lucifer, now my brother thinks I'm crazy," Sam complained as he sat in the Impala.

"Isn't that you're woman in white?" Lucifer asked.

"Where?" Sam asked.

"Entering the bridge," Lucifer explained.

"Dean, get in, we have to go now," Sam called out the window as he saw his brother leaving the restaurant.

"What's the hurry?" Dean asked.

"I saw the Woman in White. We need to get to her before she kills someone else," Sam stated.

"On it," Dean said as he got in the car and headed towards the bridge.

"There," Sam said as he pointed to her on the bridge. She was standing on the edge. They parked the car and got out. She looked at them and then jumped off the bridge.

They ran to the edge and looked, but she had vanished.

"Where did she go?" Dean asked as they could hear Dean's baby revving up.

"Who's driving your car?" Sam asked.

Dean pulled his car keys from his pocket. Sam and Dean ran down the bridge as the car started chasing them.

Sam felt a push and he managed to grab Dean, pulling him over the ledge, seconds before the car would have hit them. Sam felt himself falling, but then he felt someone grab his hand and pull him to the ledge. Dean wasn't so lucky…he fell into the muddy river below.

"Dean," Sam called out.

"I'm alright Sammy," Dean called out as he pulled himself out of the river. They headed to the car, it was empty. No sign of the spirit.

"Let's go back to the hotel, I need a shower," Dean stated.

"I told you that I would keep you safe Sammy," Lucifer stated. "Tell Dean, he smells like a toilet," Lucifer added and then laughed.
