He could see Constance, she was filling the bathtub with water. She grabbed her kids and placed them in the tub. She removed her Wedding ring and dropped it in the tub as well.
"Your dad doesn't love us anymore. I'm sorry, but he's made his decision and we should leave him before he leaves us," She stated. She wiped the tears from her eyes and then she pushed the kids heads down in the water. They struggled, but she didn't remove her hand until after they grew still.
When they were gone she got in her car and drove to the bridge. She stood on the edge and then she jumped.
"Sam, are you listening to me?" Dean asked.
He no longer saw Constance. What was that even? Sam didn't know, but his head was pounding. He cried out as he collapsed to the bed in pain.
"Sammy, are you okay? Talk to me man, what's going on?" Dean asked with concern.
"My head," Sam cried out as he grabbed his head.
"Breathe Sammy, the pain will pass. Breathe in…breathe out," Lucifer coached.
Sam didn't know why but he matched his breathing to Lucifer's commands. It seemed to be helping.
"Sammy, are you okay? You're bleeding man," Dean stated.
Sam wiped his nose, streaking red crimson across his hand.
"Don't worry about that Sammy, keep breathing with me," Lucifer pleaded.
Sam matched his breaths to Lucifer's as Dean went to his side and sat by his brother.
In a few minutes, the pain had subsided. It had been the most severe headache he had ever felt.
"What was that? Are you okay?" Dean asked.
"I'm better now. It was a migraine, I've been getting them lately," Sam explained.
"Maybe we should go to the hospital," Dean suggested.
"No, that's the last thing you need unless you want to be a science experiment," Lucifer commented.
"I'm fine Dean. They come and they go, but I am always fine afterward. Just sit with me for a few minutes longer," Sam pleaded.
Sam thought about his vision and he wondered if it was true.
"Yep, Constance murdered her children and then killed herself. The guilt lingered into the next life creating the Woman in White," Lucifer confirmed Sam's thought.
"Great, I can't even think without you eavesdropping," Sam thought.
"Don't you get it, Sam? You are me, I am you, and we are two halves that will one day be whole," Lucifer stated.
"Great," Sam thought sarcastically.
"Sammy…" Lucifer stated in a pleading tone.
"Just give me a few minutes of silence Luci,"
"I like that. Gabriel is the only one that I've ever let call me Luci, but the nickname sounds perfect coming from you. The two entities that I love unconditionally. I'll be silent for you Sammy," Lucifer stated and then was quiet.
Dean wrapped his arms around Sam protectively as they sat together.
"I'm okay Dean, thank you for being here it helped. I think that the Woman in White killed her kids and then herself. We can probably use that against her," Sam stated.
About that….maybe we shouldn't go hunting tonight," Dean suggested.
"Why?"
"What if you have another migraine there? They could use your weakness against you. It could get you killed."
"I'm fine Dean. I won't let it interfere. I need to see this hunt through," Sam pleaded.
"Ok, but first sign of a headache, we'll get out of there. Your safety has to come first," Dean stated.
"Our safety," Sam corrected.
XOXOXO
"Where were you?" Sam asked Castiel as he appeared in his room. Dean had taken a nap before the hunt. Sam had been sitting in Castiel's room researching all he could find about Constance, but Castiel had been gone for most of the day.
"I needed to check in with Heaven and then I wanted to check up on Jess for you.
Sam's chest tightened at the mention of Jessica. He missed her and instinctively knew that she was his last chance at being normal. "How is she?" Sam asked.
"She's heartbroken, but she's alive thanks to you," Cas stated. "How are you?"
"Better now. I had a really big migraine and visions of Constance. I think that I was able to see into her past," Sam explained. "Do you have visions?" Sam asked.
"No, it's not an Angel thing, but rather…"
"What Cas?" Sam asked.
"It's a Demon thing. They are Psychic, and Telekinetic," Cas explained.
"Oh," Sam said as he looked away, shame written all over his face.
"You didn't do anything wrong," Cas stated.
"Maybe not, but it doesn't change the fact that I have Demon blood under my veins and I'll never be clean or pure again," Sam stated.
Cas didn't know what to say so he just wrapped his wings around Sam, letting the peace wash over him.
XOXOXO
Dean had drawn the lot to stake out Constance's old house, while Sam was driving down Centennial.
"I'm not seeing any EMF ratings. I don't think that she's here," Dean said on the phone.
"Oh!," Sam exclaimed as he slammed on his brakes. A woman wearing a white dress was standing in the middle of the road.
"Sam," Dean shouted.
Sam disconnected the line and dropped the phone on the passenger seat.
"Constance," Sam whispered as the Impala went through her and now she was in the backseat.
"Take me home," she ordered.
"Take me home," she said louder when Sam didn't say anything to her.
"No," Sam finally said.
All the doors in the Impala locked and then the gas pedal went down on its own, causing the car to move forward at an increasing pace. Sam tried to take over the steering but the wheel was moving on its own as well. They turned a corner and then they were in the driveway of her abandoned house.
"Don't do this," Sam pleaded with Constance as the Impala's engine shut off.
"I can never go home," Constance said as her form flickered.
"She's scared to go home," Lucifer stated, speaking up for the first time in hours.
Sam looked around, Constance had moved to the front seat. She climbed on top of him, straddling him.
"Hold me, I'm so cold," she said as she rubbed her body up and down him.
"Get off of my Sam," Lucifer growled out.
"You got the devil in you," Constance said and then Sam realized that he had been the one speaking for Lucifer. "Killing Lucifer's puppet may be more fun than I thought."
Lucifer growled.
Constance laughed.
"You can't kill me, I've never been unfaithful."
"You will be. It's only a matter of time before you cheat on Lucifer with Cas, or vice versa. I see into your heart. I know that your feelings aren't faithful," she stated confidently as she kissed him.
He kissed her back as he reached for the keys. She pressed her fingers into him and he screamed in pain.
Gunshots rang through the air as Dean shot into the car with Salt pellets.
"Take that Bitch home, Sammy," Lucifer ordered.
Sam sat up, started the Impala, and then drove into the house.
"Sam, are you okay?" Dean asked as he ran into the house.
Dean helped Sam out of the car and then they saw Constance pick up a picture of her kids.
The lights in the house flickered as water started running down the stairs. Two children appeared at the top of the stairs.
"You've come home to us mommy," the children stated. They appeared behind her, hugging her. She screamed as she melted into a pile of water and then was gone.
"Guilt will kill you every time," Lucifer commented.
"Let's go home," Sam stated.
"Sam?" Dean asked.
"Yeah, Dean?"
"Why were you talking to Constance in the third person?"
Shit…Dean had overheard him speaking for Lucifer.
"Was I? I guess I'm just tired," Sam lied.
"Well, then we better get you to the hotel suite so you can get some rest," Dean stated as he climbed into the Impala.
"Come on baby, be nice to me," he pleaded as he turned the key. The Impala started and he reversed out of the wreckage.
"About Constance…Sam thought.
"What about her?" Lucifer asked.
"Do you think that she was right and that I've got feelings for you and Cas?"
"Do you?" Lucifer asked.
"No," Sam thought.
"Then don't let Constance get to you. She was a vindictive hag who is now burning in hell," Lucifer stated.
"Luci…"
"Yes, Sammy?"
"Why was I speaking for you to Constance?" Sam asked.
"Our bond is getting stronger. You're my other half Sam and I am yours, so sometimes you will speak as if I am speaking, just like there will be times that I speak for you. When our bond is at it's strongest then we will be one," Lucifer explained.
"Doesn't that scare you?"
"No, does it scare you?"
"I don't want to be evil."
"Then don't be evil. You will learn that I'm not the bad guy that you think I am," Lucifer stated as they arrived at the hotel.
