Sam could hear a bell ringing over and over again. He searched his room, but he couldn't find anything that was making that noise. His head was pounding and he felt nauseous, his back felt like it was being pulled apart. He didn't think that this had anything to do with Luci's torture in the cage. He didn't know how he knew it wasn't that, he just did.

"Sam, do you want…what are you doing?" Dean asked as he appeared in the doorway. The blankets were on the floor, along with the books from the book shelf. Sam was rifling through his dresser, tossing clothes out of the drawers.

"I have to find that noise. It's driving me crazy," Sam explained.

"What noise? I don't hear anything?" Dean asked.

The sound stopped, "My greatest gift to give you is ringing," Luci called out and then the bell started to ring again over and over and over again.

"I'm going to be sick," Sam stated as he ran to the bathroom. He leaned over the toilet and started to hurl.

"Sammy, it's okay, I'm here," Dean whispered as he lowered to the ground beside his brother. He held back his long hair with one hand and rubbed circles on Sam's lower back, the way that he had always done when his brother was sick.

"Sam, gnay g hear ringing?" Cas asked in Enochian as he appeared in the doorway of the bathroom.

"What?" Dean asked as he looked at Cas for answers.

"Mmm hmmm," Sam moaned before starting another round of puking.

"Who invited him here?" Luci complained.

"It's started," Cas whispered.

"What's started?" Dean asked.

Sam sat back, his hand trembled as he reached up to wipe his mouth. It had been a long time since he had felt this sick, if ever. His teeth started to chatter, he was freezing and his skin felt like it was on fire.

"Are you going to answer me?" Dean asked when Cas remained silent.

"Dean…" Sam whispered.

"I don't like seeing you this way Sammy. You hardly eat, sleep and now you're sick and this Ass is asking you questions in a weird language and making cryptic comments about it starting. What is starting? What is going on with you?" Dean asked.

"Dean…" Sam started to say when another bout of nausea hit him. He leaned back over the toilet and started to dry heave.

"Do you know what is going on with my brother?" Dean asked as he glared at Cas.

"Your brother is very sick," Cas stated the obvious. "Sam, i g zacam hurting?"

"Yes," Sam whispered.

"Darsar long has a bells noan ringing?" Cas asked. He needed to know how long the bells had been ringing.

"This morning," Sam answered.

"That is it, if you can't speak in a language that we can all understand, I don't want you talking," Dean shouted. He stood up and punched Cas in the face.

"I'm starting to like your brother more and more," Luci commented as he laughed.

"Not helping," Sam moaned.

"I'm going to go and look after the birds. Feathers can cause those little creatures lots of pain and sickness," Cas said hoping that Sam would understand his message. He wiped the blood from his nose and then walked out. He hated keeping Dean in the dark, but he had promised Sam that he wouldn't say anything.

"What? He's so weird…are you sure that he's not still possessed," Dean muttered.

"Bed," Sam whispered.

"Okay Sammy, I've got you," Dean stated as he helped his brother to his feet. They headed down the hallway past his room.

"Where?"

"You can sleep in my bed since you made a mess of yours," Dean stated.

"Thanks, Dn," Sam murmured. "Congamphlgh page," Sam pleaded in Enochian hoping that Lucifer would help him to sleep.

Dean sighed as he helped his brother under the covers. He watched with concern as his eyes shut.

XOXOXO

Lucifer smiled at Sam as he continued to ring the bell.

"Why are you ringing that thing? What is happening to me?" Sam asked.

"The bell is a hint from one of those classics that means so much to humanity," Luci explained and then rang the bell again.

"I don't get it. Will you just tell me?" Sam asked.

"I've been in a cage for most of humanity's reign and I even know what it is. Your childhood makes me sad…"

"Luci, please…"

"Say it with me. Every time a bell rings, an Angel gets their…"

"Wings," Sam finished the sentence. "I'm getting my wings?"

"Yes, I've waited for this day for Millenia. An Angel's wings are a beautiful thing and I can't wait to see what yours will look like when your feathers have finished coming in. The next few months are going to be difficult. You will experience nausea, pain, headaches, fevers, and seizures. I can help you with the pain when you are at your breaking point, but as hard as it will be, pain can be a good thing, it will make you stronger. Once your wings are fully in, you will be able to fly, heal, and smite monsters and demons alike," Lucifer explained as he smiled like a kid on Christmas morning.
