Chapter 1
Lila a girl who is a demon/human hybrid was just waking up yawned and looked at her clock, "Shit, it's 9:30 am i'm late for cram school on my first day too." she said. She still felt drowsy even after sleeping from 6:00 pm till now. She had know idea what happened accept for her fall in the mud she had the night before. She quickly got dressed she didn't have time to shower so she used some dry shampoo.
Lila entered her class room and saw Rin who had a tail just hanging there. She quickly checked behind her and took a deep breath realizing she for once remembered to hide her tail. "These people must know this boy is a hybrid." Lila thought. The teacher Yukio appeared to be just her age too. "He's our teacher. He's so young." Lila thought. Yukio walked to the center of the room. "Everyone this is our new student Lila Kishin. Even though she was late treat her with respect." Yukio said frowning at her. "It won't happen again sir." Lila said. She didn't know at the time that Yukio was frowning at her swollen stomach.
"My name is Yukio I will be your teacher and this is Rin my twin brother who is sleeping at the moment. " Yukio said shaking Rin awake. All the other students introduced themselves too. "We are going to The Temple of Despair today. Does anyone know where it's located?" Yukio asked. "It's on Kyros Mountain located not too far from here." Rin answered. Everyone looked surprised that Rin actually knew something important. "Correct." Yukio said. "Were not going to climb the mountain are we?" Moriyama asked. Yukio shook his head and said "No we have a key for that but we will explore the top of the mountain without keys."
As they arrived at the top of Kyros Mountain Lila felt her stomach move and without anyone seeing her she threw up in the snow. As she caught up with the others she then realized her stomach was indeed swollen. As they had just arrived at The Temple of Despair a huge snow storm started. "Such fun now we probably will have to stay here overnight." Rin thought. "Are you okay Lila you don't look so good?" Moriyama asked. "Yeah i'm just a little nauseated." Lila answered. "Here this is an herb you mix it in water and it should settle you're stomach. Let me get you some water." Moriyama said. Lila nodded the truth was she was more than a little nauseated the pain was horrible and the feel of her stomach moving did not stop.
Moriyama put the herb in water and stirred it. and said "Here Lila drink this hope you feel better soon." "Thanks." Lila said. She drank the herb tea but it didn't help she still felt horrible. Rin walked over to her. "Hey you okay you look like shit." Rin asked. "I think so." Lila stated. Rin wasn't convinced so he sat next to her and started small talk. Lila told Rin she was a half demon. Rin was about to say something when his demonic hearing heard slithering he panicked untill he found the source of the noise. It sounded really close so he and Lila moved else where.
Chapter 2
Lila was trying to sleep but couldn't it wasn't just because of her severe stomach ache but also because she was not in a bed she was laying on the temple floor with just a blanket. Rin walked towards Lila "Let me guss you can't sleep either?" Rin asked. Lila shook her head. "No one can." Rin said. Lila was about to sit up but the pain intensified so much she couldn't even move. "I'll be right back. I'm going to get Yukio." Rin said. "What can he do? I need a doctor." Lila asked. "I know.
He is a doctor and a fine surgeon." Rin stated.
"Yukio, we need you're help." Rin said. Yukio stood up. "What's wrong?" Yukio asked. "If I knew that would I be asking for you're help? Just come with me " Rin said. Yukio grabbed some medical supplies and followed Rin. When they reached Lila. Yukio was surprised at how pale she was. Yukio and Rin kneeled next to Lila. "What's going on?" Yukio asked Lila. "My stomach it hurts. I took a herb tea that Moriyama made it didn't do any good" Lils said. Yukio nodded. "Did you take any falls or got any injuries recently?" Yukio asked.
"I fell in the mud 2 days ago. I felt fine I didn't get any injuries when it happened at least I didn't think I did." Lila anwsered. Yukio lifted her shirt to examine her and saw a small lump in the middle of her abdomen. "What's this?" Yukio asked. "I don't know." Lila anwsered. "Hey I heard that sound earlier." Rin said. Yukio didn't hear him because he had his stethoscope on listening to the lump on Lila. Rin tapped on Yukio's shoulder. "What is it Rin i'm busy." Yukio stated. "Does the lump sound like it's slithering?" Rin asked. "Yes.? Yukio said. "I heard it earlier when I was next to her." Rin said.
"Then it must be a snake type parasite found in mud. That's right it's a Crona Serpent." Yukio said snapping his fingers. "Can you remove it?" Lila asked. "Yes I can." Yukio anwsered. "Rin get my surgical kit out of back pack please." stated Yukio. Rin nodded and returned with it seconds later. Yukio reached into his kit and pulled out a small anesthetic and a syringe. He feels the syringe and injects Lila with it.
Chapter 3
Yukio reached into his kit again and pulled out a Scalpel, forceps, cloths, and needle and thread. "Rin hold her still since she is half demon she's not fully unconscious." Yukio said. Rin nods. As Yukio makes an incision Rin is holding her down but looking away from the blood. "Rin, you pick fights with everyone at the school but you can't handle a little blood." Yukio stated grabbing some forceps. "No Yukio I can't not when there is other stuff mixed in with the blood." Rin stated. Yukio shook his head and pulled out the parasite and tying off the vein it was attached too. He put it into the jar he had next to him and chuckled as he watched his brother throwing up in the trash can by the door. "Well I guss he does have a week stomach. That's my brother for you." Yukio thought. Yukio grabbed the cloths he brought and wiped the blood away.
Rin came back and saw Yukio had already finished stitching the wound and bandaging it. Lila woke up a few minutes later. She tried to sit up but Yukio stopped her saying her healing factor had not fully kicked in yet. All in All Lila has decided to be careful around mud from now on.
