Charri snuck up on the entrance of Capsule Corp, observing things. This was one of the Time Rifts that had appeared in Conton City recently, and it was the job of junior Time Patrollers to observe these.
She was clad in the basic Saiyan armor for Time Patrollers and the Time Patroller standard scouter, even though she could sense ki and wasn't a pureblood Saiyan; her pink hair and blue eyes could attest to that. But as the granddaughter of Son Goten, she could claim Saiyan ancestry, and could access true Saiyan power one day.
She looked around the familiar landscape, having been there many times before. Capsule Corp was a meeting ground for all members of her family and friends, and her grandfather had even played there as a child with Trunks. So being sent to observe such a familiar location was right up Charri's alley.
She watched from her hidden location as Vegeta came out of the building to train when Bulma came out after him, telling him that she'd made some new training armor. But Vegeta brushed things off, and Bulma got mad.
Eventually, the AI in her scouter had compiled its report, and was just about to tell her to return when her ear was nearly blasted off by the Elder Kaioshin; he'd recently joined the Time Patrol after the Kaioshin of Time allowed him to stay after the Kaioshin of Universe 7's attendant, Kibito, had been separated from Shin's body.
The Elder Kaioshin had selected Charri for the new, special mission, and Charri jumped with joy; she'd finally get the chance to do some real Time Patrolling! She darted off to the access point of this Time Rift and flew all the way down to the stairwell that led to the Time Nest.
She was met by the Kaioshin of Time, who congratulated her on being selected.
"Thank you," Charri said, nervously looking around.
"Come on! The Kaoishin of Time has graciously appeared to give you her best wishes. I mean, really!" The Kaioshin of Time said, playfully pouting.
"I'm sorry, ma'am," Charri said. "I'm grateful, I really am. But the old man was supposed to be here to give me my briefing."
"Oh! Right!" the Kaioshin of Time said, smiling. "I haven't seen him in a bit, but some of the other Patrollers might have."
Charri nodded and was just about to dart off when the Kaioshin of Time grabbed her arm. "By the way, I know you were excited, but you still don't have your flying license yet. So, I don't want to see you doing that again in the city limits until you're ready, understand?"
Charri nervously rubbed her neck. "You're right, I'm sorry. I won't do it again."
"Good," the Kaioshin of Time said, smiling. "Now run along! You've got a job to do!"
Charri nodded and popped open the capsule of her hoverboard, so she could get around the city faster. She rode it around the shopping area into the time stations, and finally back to the stairwell, since the Elder Kaioshin had been seen heading up the stairs.
Upon reach the Time Nest, the Elder Kaioshin was irritated at her. "You're late! Where have you been wandering around all this time?!"
"I wouldn't be late if you'd had been where you'd said you'd be!" Charri snapped, though she immediately covered her mouth. It wasn't her place to question one of the gods who oversaw her. At least, not until she was an Elite Patroller.
The old man just glared at Charri and continued with his briefing. She was only the second Patroller to be allowed access to the Time Vault, a fact she knew very well; Peparia, the Ancient Saiyan and Savior of Time was an idol of Charri's. That woman was the most powerful warrior in the Time Patrol without having access to god ki, and the only Saiyan who had access to Super Saiyan 4. Charri couldn't even access Super Saiyan 1, so this was an accomplishment and a half to her.
Eventually, the old man had finished his briefing and took Charri into the Time Vault and showed her the scroll with the time shift; it was when Raditz came to Earth. Charri took the scroll and warped in after Raditz's power up allowed him to blast Piccolo as he was charging his Makankosappo.
Charri appeared in the timeline in the air, something she hadn't been expected, so she wasn't using the bukujutsu to keep her in the air, so she fell hard on her rear. She shook it off, rubbing her throbbing head as she stood, but then immediately returned to full measure, as if nothing happened. She walked over to her great grandfather Goku and dropped into a fighting stance.
Raditz was stronger than he should have been, like everyone the Time Breakers had an interest in, so Charri had to go all out. She rushed in with a hard left to the cheek, followed by a hard right, then a left again, and finally a kick to the abdomen to push him away. She then charged up a Kamehameha, which was practically an heirloom technique for her family by this point due to how many generations it had been passed down and blasted him into the rocks behind him.
Goku was right there to meet his brother as he stood up, launching into his own combo to wear the elder Saiyan down before launching him over to Charri, who kicked him into the air, which allowed Goku to sledgehammer him into the dirt.
But Raditz wasn't defeated yet. He threw out a Vacation Delete, a ki blast that had the ability to stun foes, at both Charri and Goku, stunning them both long enough to charge up a Double Sunday and hit them both with it.
This sent them both into the dirt, but Charri had more tricks up her sleeve. "Cover your eyes!" she shouted, and both Goku and Piccolo understood what she was about to do. She raised her hands to her face and shouted "Taiyoken!", flashing Raditz with bright white light, which blinded him.
Thankfully for them, enough time had passed for Piccolo to finish charging his attack, and Goku followed the proper flow of time and grabbed Raditz in a full nelson. Then, Piccolo fired off his attack, drilling through both Goku and Raditz, ending them both. This meant that Charri was done and pulled the scroll from her belt. She concentrated on it and returned to the Time Nest.
Congratulations were given by both Kaioshins, though the old man chastised her "less than graceful entrance." But that was over quickly, and they headed out into the shopping area, with the huge holostatue of Peparia. The Kaioshin of Time sung her praises as the one who defeated Demigra and saved time and space, calling her the "Hero of Toki Toki City", the previous city that existed before it was destroyed and rebuilt as Conton City. Charri just stood in awe of Peparia, and hoped she'd be as strong as her one day.
Author's Note: Charri is left-handed, so most of her openings and power blows will come from that side.
