I don't own Disney's The Owl House. I do, however own the OC known as Danielle Hopkins. Hope you all enjoy my story on this lovely show.
Chapter Twenty-Nine
It has been a few days and Willow hasn't been seen since. Turns out Willow's Papa, Harvey, had meant what he said. Harvey had taken Willow out of Hexside and enrolled her into Glandus. Harvey had even taken it a step further by having an abomination of his make sure Willow was getting there and back, preventing Luz and Danielle from seeing her at all. Eda having her suspicions had tailed Willow's biological Dad, Gilbert while the girls headed towards Glandus.
Walking through the hallways after getting a visitor pass from the principal, Danielle and Luz search around for Willow. Unfortunately, the girls had to do a lot of dodging as a lot of the student body and teachers were pretty bias against them. Though Danielle also had to ignore quite a few cat calls thrown her way. Taking a break after a certain time, the girls eat the homemade lunches they brought with them.
"This place is a jungle gym," said Danielle, biting into her sandwich.
"I wonder where Willow is in this place," said Luz, worrying about Willow. "I've heard enough stories from Mattholomule about this place and I'm not very keen on it."
"I agree," said Aster, looking at the girls. "I also don't like everyone here attacking you two especially Danielle. I promised her mom I'd make sure she stayed safe."
"That explains why you don't want to leave my side most of the time," said Danielle, before hearing Willow nearby. "Was that…"
"Papa, stop!" shouted Willow, nearby down a hall. "What's wrong with you?"
"That's Willow," said Luz, grabbing Danielle's hand. "Let's go."
Running down the hall, the girls don't notice Eda and Gilbert following close behind. The scene the girls came upon was one not expected. Harvey was trying to brand Willow with a coven sigil.
"Willow!" shouted Danielle and Luz, furious at what they were seeing.
"Luz! Danielle!" shouted Willow, before Harvey pulled her in and leveled a small abomination knife against her. "Papa?"
"Back off humans!" said Harvey, glaring at the girls. "Or so help me, I'll do it. I'll end Sage's daughter."
"Okay, we're backing off," said Luz, backing away slightly with Danielle.
"What is the meaning of this?" asked Danielle, glaring at Harvey.
"I'd watch how you look at me witch hunter," said Harvey, glaring at Danielle. "My life was perfect till you two showed up. Now all of a sudden Willow is in the plant track and getting stronger."
"What's wrong with that?" asked Luz, staring at Harvey.
"Everything!" replied Harvey, pulling the abomi-knife closer to Willow's neck. "You are too much like your mother. And that unnerved me to no end."
"My mom died not long after my birth," said Willow, looking at her papa. "What do you have against…"
"She took Gilbert away from me," said Harvey, glaring at Willow. "Everything was fine between me and Gilbert before she showed up from the mainland. We could have kept up playing flyer derby and me keeping him in line. But no, she was showing him things I didn't want him seeing about me."
"So…" said Luz, only to be glared at by Harvey.
"Shut up human!" shouted Harvey, glaring at Luz. "" What's mine is mine and what's yours is mine." Gilbert belonged with me. And I made sure of it. When I found out that Sage was with child, I made sure to come up with a poison that would have ended her and the child than Gilbert would have come back to me. But no, he had to go to the mainland and have her parents cure Willow. I spent two years trying to come up with a way to get Gilbert back under my thumb and I did."
"You brainwashed Gilbert some way, didn't you," said Danielle, seeing the truth was hurting Willow.
"Turns out mixing abomination goo with a certain potion gave me the results I needed," said Harvey, not knowing he was being heard the whole time by Eda and Gilbert nearby.
"Sage," thought Gilbert, crying. "My lovely wife."
"Gilbert is now my husband and any talk of Sage in the house or at any time was forbidden," said Harvey, still glaring.
"So that's why whenever I asked…" said Willow, before noticing her dad. "Dad!"
"Willow…" said Gilbert, his eyes shaded by his hair as he walked over.
"Gilbert," said Harvey, finally noticing Gilbert. "The throes of wild magic have finally grabbed hold of our precious Wil…"
"Let go of my daughter!" shouted Gilbert, his eyes glowing green.
"Hehe," said Eda, wiggling a potion bottle around.
"You…" said Harvey, glaring at Eda.
"You just could never accept that I fell in love with Sage and moved on," said Gilbert, as vines started appearing all over the place.
Vines galore encased the wide hallway. But not before grabbing Willow, Eda and the girls and tossing them outside the battlefield. Sounds of battle could be heard inside as Willow banged up against the vine shouting out for her dad.
"Willow… I'm sorry," said Danielle, confusing Willow. "None of this would have happened if we came here."
"Don't say that," said Willow, looking at Danielle. "You and Luz helped me out so much since you came here."
"But now your dads…" said Danielle, looking at Willow.
"I agree with Danielle here," said Luz, looking to the side. "They're fighting in there. And who knows what will happen because of it."
"Something like this was bound to happen eventually," said Eda, looking at the girls. "Someone else would have noticed and helped Gilbert get back to normal. And I can guess a certain someone."
"So, my mom…" said Willow, leaning against the vines. "Was from the mainland?"
"And one heck of a witch," said Eda, looking at Willow. "Sure, she was called a heretic by many but she was darn good at plant magic, healing magic, and potion magic. She would always sneak into the secret room of shortcuts to see what Hexside was about and learn new things. Heck, the girl was the second-best prankster after me."
"Mom... a prankster?" said Willow, stifling a giggle.
"Yeah, she was," said Eda, looking at Willow. "When I heard she passed, I was at a loss. Her palisman flew back towards the mainland and back towards the village she was born. But I think she'd be glad how you turned out."
"Thanks Eda," said Willow, before seeing the vines go away. "Dad!"
"Willow!" shouted Gilbert, as his daughter ran over and embraced him tightly in a hug. "Thank the Titan."
"Now what?" asked Willow, looking at her dad.
"We move," replied Gilbert, looking at Willow. "The house is under Harvey's name. So, we're packing up everything we own."
"But to where?" asked Willow, looking at her dad.
"I don't know yet," replied Gilbert, deeply sighing. "But you'll be attending Hexside again, I know that for sure."
"There is a house nearby where we live," said Danielle, looking at Willow and Gilbert. "You could probably stay there."
"Oh, yeah," said Luz, remembering the house. "Me and King checked out the place a few times. There may be parts to patch but it's still livable. Plus, there's a little garden already growing in the back. We can be neighbors."
"Let's just hope it doesn't turn into Fear thy Neighbor," thought Danielle, thinking about a certain show. "I've seen too many of those episodes but I think we'll be all right with Willow and her dad."
"Thanks," said Gilbert, looking at the girls. "We'll check it out."
"We can use the Teleportation Glyph to get all your stuff out of the house," said Aster, looking at Gilbert. "It can be done in one go if we all work together."
"Well, let's get going then," said Eda, as the girls set up a Teleportation Glyph.
Activating the Teleportation Glyph, everyone appears inside the house that Willow and Gilbert were about to leave. After Danielle made sure that Aster was all sparkly, Gilbert guided everyone on what to grab and place within the new Teleportation Glyph that was set up. It had only taken a few hours before hearing the front door being banged by Harvey trying to get in. Seeing nothing else that was theirs, Gilbert gestured everyone in the Teleportation Glyph before Danielle and Luz activated it in time when Harvey finally had gotten in. Rubbing their eyes, Gilbert and Willow see the house the girls mentioned.
"This place could work," said Gilbert, looking at the house. "Just like you two said besides fixing a few areas, it's livable. Thanks."
"You're welcome," said Danielle and Luz, looking at Gilbert and Willow with a smile.
"New neighbors!" shouted Hooty, shooting over and coiling around Gilbert and Willow. "We're gonna be good friends."

After having put a barrier around their stuff, Gilbert and Willow had started to clean up the inside of the house. The bedrooms were basically upstairs, and Willow had chosen the room overlooking the little garden. Some things were already being placed inside and Danielle and Luz at one point had come over with some food to help them on their first day in.
"Is this…" said Willow, picking up a photo that fell out of a box.
"Your mom, Sage," said Gilbert, lovely looking at the photo. "You look so much like her."
"Do you miss her?" asked Willow, getting a little teary eyed.
"Every day," replied Gilbert, looking at Willow. "But I have someone else to love and protect. You."
"Oh dad," said Willow, hugging her dad. "I miss her."
"I miss her too Willow," said Gilbert, hugging his daughter back. "I miss her too."

"Hey, guys," said Danielle, nervously fidgeting in the room. "I wanted to say sorry for startling all of you earlier. With the gun that is."
"As long as you don't go looking for where I placed it, then it's fine," said Eda, looking at Danielle. "I've heard plenty of those things back in your ream to skedaddle back here whenever I heard them."
"The sound it made was scary," said Aster and King, looking at Danielle.
"Yeah, it was," said Danielle, pulling the two into a hug. "Humans have made amazing things over the centuries but also terrifying things as well."
"So, you gonna think of doing something different with those magic bullets of yours?" asked Luz, looking at Danielle.
"Yup, instead of an actual gun I'll just have it placed at the end of my index finger," said Danielle, forming a little sphere of magic at the end of her index finger. "It will work just…"
"Concentration! Concentration and…" said Aster, seeing the little magic sphere getting wonky before exploding. "Danielle."
"I need to work on it," said Danielle, before coughing and giggling at bit.
