Season 3: Episode 4

Violet yawned as she exited the bathroom, wrapped in a towel as she'd just had a shower.

'Well, that wasn't as bad as I feared.' She reflected.

She had just had her first day at her new job, working at the diner with her mom, it had gone rather well she felt. She had spent time hanging out with her friends after she'd finished and from there she had had a good time, apart from the usual concerning feelings she felt as always around Clementine these days. Having got home at last she was exhausted and after a shower was going to get ready for bed for the night. She was alone at home since her mother was out working her second job. Violet just hoped that with her working now, her mother would not need to work so much to make ends meet anymore. With a shrug she pushed her thoughts aside and removed her towel before pulling on her typical sleepwear, in this case a pair of lavender panties and a grey tank-top. She yawned and stretched, considering, but then shook her head and decided to do what she should do regardless, like her mother had always drilled into her. So she left her bedroom and went around the apartment, checking and double-checking the locks on the windows and also the front door. Finally she smiled, relieved that things were finally locked up and safe. With that she made her way back to her bedroom and finally settled into bed, looking to sleep after her first hard day at work.

Unbeknownst to Violet, she had been followed home that night, by a shadowy figure clad all in black. The figure was right now sitting in their car outside the apartment building. They had already established which apartment which Violet stayed in, the very one they had wanted to find.

'This girl...I need to get her, but of course, it's been difficult getting her alone.' The figure reflected. 'Now at last I know she's alone, a stupid girl like that, this will be easy.'

With that they smiled and got out of the car, ready to begin. They crossed the street and entered the apartment building, smirking to themselves, this would be too easy, they reflected but that just made them all the more eager to get their hands on the girl they had been stalking.

'Here we are.' The girl thought with a dark smile as they approached the door to the Adlon apartment.

Believing they already had a measure of the girl who was inside and assuming she'd be stupid enough or arrogant enough to not take precautions, a view they took upon themselves after observing the girl for quite some time. Hence the mysterious figure was given an unpleasant surprise when they tried the door, fully expecting it to open, only to find it locked.

"What the-?" They growled.

This was not how things were to go, they tried the door again and again, but it wouldn't budge.

"What is this?" They snarled. 'How could this stupid bitch lock the door, she's not the kind to...urgh, fuck.'

Now things were becoming even more complicated, much to their frustration.

Violet jolted awake when she heard the sound of the door.

"What the hell?" She gasped as she was instantly out of bed.

She listened carefully, hearing the door again, and again.

'Holy shit.' Violet thought to herself. 'Someone's here, trying to open the door...what the hell…?'

Violet carefully left her bedroom, phone in her hand as she crept closer to check through the peephole. Through it she saw a dark clad figure, trying to door yet again, growling to themselves, as if frustrated and angry about something. It soon told Violet all she needed to know.

'Fuck, he's trying to break in and, and...he's after me...oh shit.' Her mind raced.

Reacted the only way she could she hurried away from the door, which began echo with heavy thumps, as if the figure was trying to force the door open. She hurried quickly back to her bedroom, closed and locked the door and took cover in a corner of the room, out of sight of the door as she called the police and waited, anxiously and praying that the police would arrive soon, before it was too late. She wasn't sure how long she had been hiding, it couldn't have been that long, but sure felt a lot longer. Finally however she heard more official sounding knocks and calls of police from the door. Warily Violet made her way to the door and looking through the peephole, seeing it was indeed the police she opened the door and soon saw, to her dismay, the figure was nowhere in sight. She explained everything she could but it was clear the police couldn't find anything, leaving Violet shaken. She would not be getting to sleep that night, not even when her mother came home and was informed of everything. Amy did her best to comfort her daughter, but it was certainly not going to be easy as this incident left Violet shaken and fearing a possible return of that strange figure.
