Robert decided that any other work he could do from home. He wanted to stick close to Holly and their family.
Annie and Ethan both had work they were doing, and Tiff was spending time with Lucas, so Holly was watching Seana. Robert loved the thought of spending the rest of the day with them. He loved every moment they got with their granddaughter and each other.
He did a little work on his laptop then looked over at the two of them. Seana was sitting on Holly's lap and they were coloring a picture. Robert would never grow tired of this sight. He walked over to see what they were coloring. "That's a nice looking puppy. Does it have a name?" He asked.
"Spot!" Seana exclaimed as she colored all over, not getting the concept of staying in the lines quite yet.
Holly smiled up at Robert. "I tried to talk her into Ringo but it was a no go."
Robert kissed her head. "Not everyone is as big of a fan as you my dear." He gave her a wink as he sat down. "Mind if I join you?" Robert asked as he opened up a coloring book.
"Of course we don't, right Seana?" Holly looked at Seana.
Seana grinned. "Pease!"
Robert opened up the page. "I think I'm going to use this masterpiece to woo your grandmum."
"Woo!" Seana giggled, not having a clue what he was saying but just finding the word fun.
Holly laughed as she looked at Robert. "When aren't you trying to do that darling? Successfully I might add."
Robert started to color a picture of a wallaby for Holly.
Seana looked over his work. "Good!" She tried to encourage him like the adults did in her life.
Robert chuckled. "Thank you babe. How about after this we have some cookies?"
Seana sat her crayon down. "Cookie."
"Oh Robert." Holly laughed, knowing they had lost Seana from coloring.
Robert sat his crayon down and smiled, "I'll be right back." Robert went into the kitchen and got two cookies for Seana and a cup of milk. He brought it back out to her.
"What do you tell grandpa?" Holly asked Seana who had already picked up a cookie.
"Thanks!" Seana started to eat the cookie fast but Holly corrected her so she didn't choke on it. Once they finished it up the three of them decided to watch a movie.
"Do you want to watch a cartoon movie? I heard The Rescuers Down Under was really good." Robert held her as they joined Holly on the couch.
Seana nodded and laid her head on Robert.
Holly turned the movie on. "You know what I love about this?"
"What?" Robert asked her quietly.
"One of the characters sounds just like you." Holly's eyes lit up.
Robert laughed quietly. "Let's see if we can get her to nap." Robert wrapped his arm around Holly as the three of them all dozed off.
