50. Breaking Point
After the digital world, Neo is busy with class. Medical school is no joke and even before his mental breakdown in another world Neo's grades had been tanking. So he'd had no choice but to study hard, digimon tournaments be damned. He'd begged his sister (her words, not his, he never begged) to take care of his V-pet.
She had, of course.
So he goes to cram school less. Because he has to catch up, he should do more but rebellious, he doesn't.
He studies at home and pushes himself. And Hideto drags him outside and he thinks and he wonders and sits outside.
Neo goes on walks. He meets friends. He collapses into bed.
He … life turns on.
Neo doesn't know how to feel about that. No one knows the horrible person he was before, only bits and pieces. He just gets to live through it, warts and all. Who's to say he won't do it again?
Well, maybe if he does, he'll listen to his sister.
