Davis thought his life was going good, he had gotten the girl of his dream Kari to date him but after meeting their new teacher he and all of his friends are thrusted into an adventure they will never forget not just dealing with Digimon but Kaiju as well watch as Davis and the digidestined fight to protect both worlds and uncover the secrets of the Kaiju and their teacher's past

7. The Dark Dragon Emerges

In the woods, Yoko, who had seen the news about the mutilation and attacks in the forest and the mountain being cut in half, of course she saw this as an opportunity to make her career. Of course Rito was along for the ride however unlike Yoko who was eager to find out what was behind the mutilation and could cut a mountain in half. He wasn't and really wanted to go home and forget this.

"Y-Yoko, are you sure we should be out here?" Rito asked shakily as he looked around. "I mean, you saw the news about that bear right?"

"Don't be afraid Rito, think of what this could do for me," Yoko said with a hand on her chest. "If it is a real-life Kaiju then I need to capture it on film so that I could be the youngest to get an Emmy."

Rito just shook his head as he looked around the forest in fear. "Yoko," he said all flabbergasted

"Now keep the camera ready, we'll need to get all we can." Yoko said before walking away.

"Do we have to?" Rito asked, he looked around before hearing a hoo from an owl. "Ahh! Wait for me!" Rito shouted running after his friend.

Meanwhile back at the Lab Sango was rubbing her scalp, annoyed at her son's stupidity.

"I swear that boy needs to learn to make compromises." Sango frowned.

"Kids, sometimes you wish they came with a manual." Alice sighed, understanding Sango's feelings, she did go through 2 sets of twins. "They always disobey you and never listen to anyone and always feel like they know exactly what they are doing until it blows up in their faces."

"Hmm, hmmm." Holo Catona nodded in agreement.

"What are you muttering about?" Jaden asked with a glare

"Just talking about how kids end up doing something stupid until it blows in their face like a certain man-child at times." Holo Catona said with a sly remark.

"You're one to talk, you woman-child." Jaden countered

"He kinda has you there, considering you and your father do watch cartoons more than anyone." Holo Namine said.

Holo Catona frowned slightly but didn't counter, seeing as they were right about that. "Why don't you go and drag that kid to where Sakura is?" Holo Catona suggested.

Jaden just leaned back in his chair "Possibly, but I'm just worried what Sakura's superiors would do."

"Are you sure you can trust them?" Holo Xion asked. "Given the fact that you can barely use resources on your own, like when you secretly used the metal to repair my Father's counterpart's guns?"

"Wait, you did that without telling the Government?" Sango asked

"Yes, to be honest I don't trust them like I don't trust the government of my own world. Political problems only cause more discord to me and the others who are trying to keep the peace. It isn't just in our world, it's also in Cray." Jaden said "Brides from what Sakura told me, they might mobilize the Crack Team or the D-Brigade."

"Crack Team or D-Brigade?" Yolei asked.

"What are those?" Izzy asked curiously.

"In kaiju terms, they're top secret code names for kaiju units. The Crack Team is an undercover unit that deals with the Underworld, and their team is mostly comprised of Hackers and other individuals. I assume it's the same for their Digimon Counterparts." Jaden explained before turning to the original Digidestined. "In fact you met two members of the Crack Team before."

"Huh?" Tai uttered as he looked at the other original DigiDestined.

"We did?" Sora asked.

"Yeah." Jaden said as he pulled up files for the two members "Combat specialist Machindramon and Underwater interceptor MetalSeadramon."

"Wait?! The Dark Masters?!" Tai exclaimed. "But they were evil."

"Not technically they were part of two different teams the two you fought were part of the Dark Masters." Jaden informed

"Hmmm, so the government has a secret team to deal with threats." Matt said rubbing his chin

"No, most members of the Crack Team are autonomous." Jaden said.

"Then where were these guys when Myotismon was terrorizing Odaiba before?" Tai asked, if this team was so good why didn't they help them.

"Who knows you'll have to ask Sakura, now we'll go to the D-Brigade." Jaden said "The D-Brigade is a mechanized brigade consisting of Dragon-type Cyborg Kaiju, and is a special force that is dispatched on missions that are never made public and I assume that their Digimon counterparts are the same."

"This is a lot to take in." Joe said.

"Hmm, if that's the case all of these things could have been avoided." Holo Mana said. "But of course the government only gets involved if they feel like it."

"Standard Infantry consists of Commandermon." Jaden explained as he pulled out its profile which was a lizard Digimon in military uniform with a rifle, in fact it almost looked like Agumon if he had camouflage-colored skin, was dressed up for the military, and had a rifle

"Woah, looks like Agumon if he went to military school." Tai said in surprise

"So cool." Xia said.

"So he's in charge?" Sango asked.

"They also undergo Selection-D, a special selection test that screens through 100 Commandramon to select one to evolve into Sealsdramon." Jaden further explained as he pulled up Sealsdramon

"So they just choose who can digivolve?" Gatomon asked

"Sealsdramon is an assination specialist. Only the best could digivolve into him in this world." Jaden explained "For the others who failed Selection-D they become Hi-Commandramon!" Jaden said as he pulled up his profile

"Looks like Metalgreymon geared for war." Matt commented.

"No, I'll say it's more like Greymon geared for war, as Hi-Commnadermon is still just champion level." Jaden said.

"Hmm, now this world is really interesting and a crack team of powerful digimon used under a secret government project that is all over the world, like one of those secret society movies." Holo Mana commented.

"Then their Riot Suppressor and Extermination Specialist[." Jaden announced as he pulled up Tankdramon's profile

"Tankdramon, a very nasty Digimon if you are the wrong side of his attacks." Patamon said.

"Indeed, even as a Kaiju, escape is nearly impossible, because thanks to their radar, they're able to lock onto 30 targets at once, and not only that they're able to data-link with another Tankdramon to supplement the locked-on targets." Jaden said

"Man, you could win with those things at the helm." Holo Maya commented.

"Indeed, thor mission survival rate is very high for them with a 99.9% chance of survival. In fact only one has ever been shot down during a mission." Jaden said

"Wow, I didn't know there were Digimon like that." Tai said he could only imagine what it was to fight Digimon 4 years ago.

"Troop transport is Cargodramon." Jaden announced as he pulled up the profile

"Ok, that isn't a Digimon you see every day. I've only ever heard of Digimon and never saw one before," Gatomon said.

"As their designation suggests they transport troops on and off the battlefield having enough room for half a dozen troops, plus One Tankdramon, but don't mistake that for them being not able to fight cause they're perfectly able to use their propeller blades as weapons and they're equipped with a Gatling gun as well," Jaden explained.

"We'll take your world for it." Yolei said.

"I have a question," Sango asked. "You know my husband was an archaeologist, and he would theorize that these Digimon were here long before the creation of technology and taught humanity to farm, build and hunt. From time to time he found relics of the past however at times they were either stolen or confiscated by 'government officials' and even one time someone tried to take his life well… which isn't surprising as he had many people trying to kill him."

"What are you asking?" Jaden questioned.

"Could the organization Sakura works for have something to do with what my husband was trying to figure out?" Sango asked.

"It's highly possible." Jaden admitted "Did the government ever say they used anything strange out of the ordinary?"

"From what he told me that a group of people claiming to be federal agents claiming that he was trespassing on sacred ground even though he had permit to allow him to study the sight and soon they confiscated many of his finding, until he sent many of his research notes to home where I hid them, one day when I got home from work our house was ransacked nothing was taken and it looked like it was searched." Sango answered.

"That's strange indeed." Jaden said "Where did this take place?" he asked

"I think a few months before that fateful summer 4 years ago." Sango answered. "But don't worry, I hid them well in fact Xeni has been studying them himself."

"Did your husband told you the name of the location where this occurred?" Jaden asked

"Hmm, I think the Amazon, someone was off with my husband when he came home though." Sango told them.

"Off?" Kagome asked.

"He seemed distraught, almost like he did something stupid and he looked like he wanted to kill himself." Sango answered. "When I asked him about it he told me, I'm fine honey it's just a government asshole again, and I've started to think I shouldn't trust them with anything I find."

"What could he have done?" Izzy asked.

"Do you still have his research notes?" Alice asked.

"Yep, and all the books that he was lucky enough to hide, they are in Xeno's room." Sango answered.

"Kagome, mind going with her to get those notes?" Jaden asked

"Sure, I still can't go into the field after what happened yesterday." Kagome said.

"Jaden, if you have to force Xeno to go help the others, then do it." Sango told Jaden before she and Kagome left.

"I wonder what Xeno's father has to do with all of this?" Holo Kisara questioned. As far as I know, our Xeno's father was a lunatic who wanted to wipe out humanity."

"Daddy tried to wipe out humanity?" Xia asked in shock.

"Kisara!" Holo Xion frowned.

"What? It's true." Holo Kisara frowned

"You don't have to be so blunt." Holo Namine said shaking her head in disapproval

"Hey, if the three of you are going to be useful how about you do something around here now that you could interact with the environment," Jaden shouted

"I get free reign over the computer system." Holo Kisara frowned, crossing her arms.

"I want to know everything about the Digimon and Kaiju of this world." Holo Xion said.

"Jaden, I'm going to find those four and bring them to Sakura's location," Kikyo told him. "Despite how that kid acts we regrettably need him and his sister there to assist."

"Okay, and I'm going to deal with the demon alright." Jaden said "Can you handle yourself?" he asked

"I've handled myself long before you ever met me." Kikyo said with a small smile as she left.

Jaden smiled as he also left

"You know it's almost scary seeing him smile again." Holo Mana muttered.

"I know right." Holo Catona said

"That's so mean." Holo Namine said

"Is something wrong with him smiling?" Catherine asked.

"No, it's just family teasing." Holo Xion smiled

Sango and Kagome reached her home, she saw Xeno's room which she could see was pretty normal for a young boys room and it was surprisingly clear, she expected it to be a jumble of mess with trash and junk all over the room and stuff.

"Well, he's cleaner than my brother, that's for sure." Kagome giggled

"Yep, Xeni's a good kid, he just has bad problems opening up to people." Sango said in a sad tone. "Ever since his dad was killed he wasn't the same, and now known of these Dark Spores it makes sense why he has been getting worse."

"He almost reminds me of a love of mine." Kagome said with a smile

"Ahh, love is a very complicated thing, you know when I was young I ran an all-female gang that would terrorize Tokyo." Sango said with a smile.

Kagome giggled. "You know that's what Jaden told me when he first met you. Wait till you actually tell him he was actually right." Kagome giggled

"Well my father is a crime lord so I had to be tough you know." Sango casually said as she walked over to the bookshelf with Kagome just looking at the older woman.

'Did she just be a crime lord? Like the Yakuza?' Kagome thought her eyes widened slightly.

"Back in my day, I was one of the toughest girls you could ever meet. Many people were afraid except Sakura, who was my second in command at the time." Sango smiled as she looked at a book. "It was good until the day I met Xeno's father, oh and he wasn't afraid of me, he was like a nerd but once we started fighting ahhh, it was wonderful."

"Wait, Sakura was part of a gang that terrorized Tokyo? Does her children even know that?" Kagome asked,

"Eh, maybe, maybe not, judging by your expression you didn't know either." Sango said amused.

"No." Kagome stuttered

Sango just laughed, all amused. "How about you tell me about what you went through and why suddenly there's Demons involved. I'm sure it's an interesting story." Sango said

"Which version do you want? The abbreviated version or the long version?" Kagome smiled

"Give me the abbreviated version for now, you can have Jaden show us the long version later." Sango smile.

Kagome then explained how it all happened on her 15th birthday and was dragged through the well into the Feudal Era where she met the Half Demon Inuyasha and learned that she was the reincarnation of the Miko Kikyo. After accidentally shattering the Shikon Jewel into who knows how many shards they went on a quest to gather them all. During their travels, they met Shippo a young fox demon, a lecherous monk named Miroku and a Female Demon Slayer named Sango who had a faithful companion named Kirara. During their Travels, they ran into Inuyasha's older half-brother Sesshomaru who despises humans and during the battle at their father's grave for their father's sword got his arm cut off and also Kikyo was resurrected from the grave by an evil witch. When they met Miroku they learned that another Evil half-demon was responsible for killing Kikyo in the first place and for framing Inuyasha and that he slew the entire Demon Slayer Village

"Sheesh, all of this happened when you were just a kid? This Naraku sounds like the worst scum of humanity." Sango frowned.

"I know, but tell me what's your opinion on my friend?" Kagome asked

"They all sound like good people just tied together by tragedies done by one selfish and evil individual, and this Sesshomaru used his own kid brother's deceased mother to get an heirloom, sounds like idiots to me, only fools chase after Legacys." Sango shook her head.

Kagome then explained that eventually their group ran into Jaden and Alice and two of their friends, while Jaden joined up with Kikyo, Alice and one of her friends joined up with them. Eventually the swordsmith who forged Tessaige came to them and asked Inuyasha to protect him from Sesshomaru, although he was hiding behind a foolish old man personality and egged the two brothers into battling

"And what was he to gain by having them fight? Did he want to see if Inuyasha was strong enough to handle the sword?" Sango asked curiously.

"No, Sesshomaru threatened him with death after Totosai refused to forge him a sword to which he said that he would forge him a new sword after he battles it out with Inuyasha." kagome sighed

"Wow, that is just stupid of this old man." Sango shook her head.

Kagome then explained how Inuyasha was swinging his sword wildly and despite having one arm Sesshomaru was still the superior comment despite her having belief in him, but that might be because she was still young back then. When Seshomaru asked if he still refused to forged him a sword, Totosai refused and breathed fire, to which he avoided and to which the flames engulfed Inuyaaha. Totosai then revealed that he already forged a sword and he already had an heirloom that his father gave him, the Tensaiga. When Totosai said that he should respect and loved it. That comment made him furious before they escaped

"Typical of a feudal warlord, if the weapon isn't useful you make another one." Sango asked. "So what was this Tensaiga's power?"

"It was a sword that couldn't cut." Kagome answered

"Hmm, why would their father forge a sword that couldn't cut? I doubt it would be useful in battle." Sango said.

"From what Totosai told us Tessaiga is a blade that could kill 100 demons with 1 swing of its blade and was forged to protect humans while Tensaiga was forged and if the bearer truly has kindness of heart for humanity it could save 100 souls with 1 swing of its blade." Kagome explained

"Not to be rude, why would a demon forge the swords to protect humanity, you did mention that Inuyasha was half demon so his mother must have been human while Seshomaru's is full demon, sounds like something out of one of my Son's anime books." Sango said.

"I don't know but from what I recall when I met the spirit of their father, he was kind and gentle and while he was a powerful demon, he truly did like humanity despite its flaws." kagome said

"Hmm, Humanity's flaws are one of the problems with this world, but from what I can tell Inuyasha had inherited most of those good traits but also Sesshomaru if he learned to show compassion," Sango said.

Kagome giggled "Surprisingly he did."

"But all this trouble over a sword sounds too stupid to me, this happens all the time when people inherit something and one of the parties isn't satisfied with what they got." Sango said.

"Well eventually he stopped coming after the sword cause we all found out its purpose." kagome said

"Purpose?" Sango asked curiously.

"It's to keep Inuyasha's demon blood sealed away." kagome said

"Sealed away?" Sango asked.

"It happened during a battle, a demon called Goshinki broke Tessiga and Inuyasha Changed, he ruthlessly killed Goshinki to the point that he was unrecognizable. Myoga then told us that Tessaiga was meant to keep his demon blood in check and if the sword was ever away from him he'll undergo transformation." Kagome said

"Ahh, that must have been a scary sight for you." Sango nodded understanding.

"It was, eventually Inuyasha learned what happened and slaughtered bandits who were begging for their lives." kagome said "It was only thanks to Sesshomaru that things didn't escalate that far."

"Kinda ironic that the brother who hates him so much stopped his rampage." Sango said seeing the irony there.

"Miroku questioned him on why he showed mercy when he cleary hated him, his response was that there's no honor in killing him when he's not aware and that he'll kill him later." kagome said "But Inuyasha didn't let go of Tessaiga after that day."

"Hmm, honor at least that redeeming quality I see, but in my opinion Inuyasha shouldn't be afraid of the demon side of himself, after all they are both sides of the one person if you learn accept both sides human or demon then you'll become a complete person, after all Inuyasha's father full demon right and he was able to accept humanity as a demon." Sango said. "Ahahah, sorry, I'm quoting something for my Son's game Devil May Cry."

Kagome giggled. "Further into our quest, from what Fabia told me, Sesshomaru ran into a demon named Shishinki who their father defeated, at the time his blade Tokijin was destroyed and Sesshomaru has since been training on a new technique and we learned some shocking secrets."

"And what were they?" Sango asked.

"That Tessiga and Tensaiga were originally one blade in the first place." Kagome said

"They were one?" Sango said surprised. "But how did they come to separate?"

"From what we were told, Totosai reforge Tessaiga. After all Tessiga was originally a fang in the first place. And besides after the battle, Sesshomaru was quite angry as well as Fabia said to their rivals that they'll be enemies for as long as they live." Kagome said "Fabia later told me that she learned what the next step was."

"Wow, talk about a slap in the face, daddy didn't leave him anything," Sango remarked. "But what was the next step?"

"From what Fabia told me, because Tesaiga has the ability to absorbs new powers and Tensiga didn't, their father always had the plan for Sesshomaru to master Medio Zangetsuha but only so that Tessiga to absorb the technique back." Kagome said

"Ahhh, that's just awful, their father left nothing for Sesshomaru." Sango said feeling bad for the demon not to get anything while his little brother inherited the sword and the technique that he worked so hard to master.

"Fabia told me, that Totosai told them why did their father have their blades like this in the first place, and if he gave Sesshomaru the short end of the stick and if he really did favor Inuyasha and that as long as he kept his mind on the heirloom Tessiga he could never see his fathers goal." Kagome said

"And what was their father's goal?" Sango asked.

"I was unconscious for this part, this enemy drained my spiritual energy and knocked me unconscious." Kagome said "But from what Alice told me, Sesshomaru created a sword from his own power and grew back the arm that Inuyasha cut off."

"Oh, of course that's it." Sango said, understanding. "He was able to surpass his father only when he let go of his obsession with the sword, just like I said only fools chase legacies, and only the great forge their own."

"That's what Alice told me. He lost his arm chasing after Tessaiga but gained a new arm plus his own sword, as that sword had been within him all along." Kagome said, "And I treat him as a friend of mine and an ally, despite how he says it or how he thinks of us."

"Wow, you had quite an adventure and you were only 15 when you started?" Sango laughed.

"Well it was quite an adventure watching my friends, you should've seen Sango slapping Miroku for what he does." Kagome laughed "I mean would you?" she asked

"I would have shot him in the head or stabbed him in the heart if he wasn't useful." Sango scowled.

"Well then we're lucky he was useful." Kagome laughed

"So you and this Inuyasha sound very close, any chance you two are planning on having little demon human babies in the future." Sango teased.

Kagome blushed. "I'm not sure anymore…that was in the past when i was younger." she stuttered

"I can tell from your face that you want to though." Sango laughed, she had that look on her face when she was young. "So Demon Slayer huh, how was I?" She teased

"Oh she was definitely someone not to take lightly." Kagome said, hoping to keep the subject off of her and Inuyasha, as she began to wonder how he was doing with her gone. "So where are those notes?" she asked

Sango finished gathering the books off the shelf placing them on the bed. "In my room, but I want to keep where they are a secret, I trust you Kagome but you never know."

"Right, can't be sure who's watching. I know the feeling." Kagome noddedd

"I'll be right back." Sango said before leaving the room.

Kagome looked down at the black book and picked it up, looking at the front. To her surprise, the front had the same symbol as the Crests that Kari brought back from the Digital World.

'What is this symbol? And what does it mean?' Kagome thought to herself.

Jaden in his dragon form was searching the forest for signs of the demon. But so far he hadn't seen any signs.

"Hmmm." Jaden hummed as he continued searching

Jaden then tapped the communicator on his ear (Hey, do you read me?) he asked. Jaden didn't get a response (Hello?).

Still no response from the lab

(Hey bitches, what are you doing?) Jaden shouted

(it… hard… too… hear… you… hang…. on…) Alice said through the static, a few seconds later. (can you hear me clearly?)

(Yeah, I could hear you now. Interference in the area. Which is strange as these communicators are state of the art and the only things we brought from our world) Jaden said

(Yeah, it is strange could it be Chaos Breaker? He could know about the Demon and cutting off communications to spread chaos sounds like something he would do.) Alice surmised.

(Most likely but keep your guard up. How's Kikyo? Did you get in contact with her?) Jaden asked

(She was having trouble on her end with the communicator but it's fine now, she says that she had tracked the four of them into the forest where you are searching.) Alice answered.

(Wait, this forest? Triangulate Dimetroblades's position right now and his current route and destination) Jaden said as he began to run

(Calm down Jaden, Kikyo can handle herself, she's not a little girl, and if those four are in the forest with you two, maybe your original plan can still be used.) Alice said.

(No it's not that, it's just too much of a coincidence for a demon and Dimetroblade to be here at once. Is there a major city near his route or something?) Jaden asked

(hang on… not a major city but definitely a decent size town about half the size of Odaiba, population 10000.) Alice answered.

(Tell me, has there been anything unusual lately?) Jaden asked, hoping that Dimetroblade wasn't nearby, cause out of all the kaiju created Dimetroblade was designed purely for combat purposes

(Hmmm, I don't think Dimetroblade is there yet, but there has been a stream of bizarre murders in the town, and can you guess how they died?) Alice asked.

(Mutilation.) Jaden guessed

(ding ding ding, our Demon is in the town hiding.) Alice told him.

(Damn it.) Jaden sealed as he spread his wings and took flight to the town

(You're flying there?) Alice asked

(No time for running, the more time I run the more time i waste the sooner i kill it the sooner I could help handle Dimetroblade) Jaden said

(Alright, I think I have the location on Xeno and the others, they aren't far from the town they are walking through a dense part of the woods.) Alice told Jaden. (I'll contact Kikyo and tell her so they can make their way to where Dimetroblade is.)

(Grr, I just hope those brats don't cause too much trouble and hopefully that the Demon isn't in the woods with them.) Jaden frowned.

At that time Xeno who was followed by Davis, Xion and Sai along with Demiveemon and Yaamon made their way through the forest.

"Do you even know where you are going?" Xion snorted

"I know where I'm going Xion." Xeno said not to turn to his twin.

"Sure you do." Sai said

"Shut up, if my calculations are right, Dimetroblade will be approaching the mountain town in about an hour from now." Xeno said annoyed.

"Alright, but what are we supposed to do for any hour?" Davis said

"Can we get food?" Demiveemon suggested.

"Yeah, I'm staving." Yaamon spoke up.

"The two idiots are speaking my language." Sai said "We did pass a nice restaurant."

"Xeni, why couldn't we just go along with Jaden's plan? What if people get killed because of your stupidity and lone wolf attitude." Xion questioned with an annoyed look on her face

"I don't have to listen to him." Xeno said with his arms crossed

"Jameser, I know you hate the government but come on you've known Sakura all your life you should trust her and remember Jaden did get your guns fixed." Davis told him.

Xeno just growled. "Tch, let's just go to town and… contact Sakura…" Xeno said with disgust.

"Finally you're using that empty skull of yours." Xion mocked.

"Can we get some food?" Demiveemon complained, looking like he was dying.

"The towns not that far, about another mile there's a tram station that can take us over a ravine and get us into the town." Xeno told them.

Yaamon hummed as he glared into the words.

"What's wrong?" Sai asked.

"I think we're being watched." Yaamon growled.

The four became alert as they observed their surroundings, all they could see were trees and bushes. Davis looked around in every direction not really sure what to expect.

From a vantage point, their unknown stalker hissed as it got into position before it lunged at whom it thought was the weakest in its eyes, the girl.

"RRragh." a snarl was heard from above Xion taking her by surprise

At that point Xion's Bakugan Trap Orcanoid opened up and assumed its true form of a blue Killer Whale Bakugan appeared and slapped the demon away from Xion with its tail

"Ahh!" Xion gasped in surprise, as she sighed. "Thank you."

"Forget that for now." Sai said as he, Xeno, and Davis along with Yaamon and Demiveemon glared at the demon.

The demon was revealed to be a snake-like demon only it had arms and legs and looked like a humanoid serpent

"That doesn't look like a Kaiju to me." Davis said, wiping away some sweat from his face.

"S-s-s-s-s-s-snake." Xeno stuttered as he was too terrified to move.

The snake demon hissed as it slithered up a tree before jumping and gliding across the forest

"Woah, that's too close." Xion sighed, holding her hand to her chest.

Orcanoid hummed a beautiful melody like Dolphins do.

"Aww, thank you, I feel a little better." Xion smiled and the melody helped her calm down a bit.

"That thing must be the demon Jaden told us about." Sai remarked.

"You know on second thought, he would gladly get rid of it." Xeno said still terrified that it was a snake

"Of all things it had to be, it to be a snake, now Jameser is useless to us." Sai commented.

"I know." Xion said, shaking her head. "My brother could be difficult to understand sometimes."

"We should contact Jaden, we aren't used to fighting things like this." Davis said

They suddenly heard twigs snapping behind them which caused Xeno to move behind his sister afraid that the snake was back they found out it was just Kikyo

"Oh thank god it's just you." Xeno said with relief.

"And why is that? Did something happen?" Kikyo asked

"Besides me being almost eaten by a snake, I've been better." Xion said

"Him too." Davis said, jabbing his thumb at Xeno.

"S-shut up!" Xeno shouted.

"Where did it go?" Kikyo demanded.

"It flew off to the west." Sai answered pointing due west.

"Alright, Jaden is also heading there as well." Kikyo said

"Ahhhh!" they heard screams coming from the west.

"Those voices! It's Yoko and Rito!" Xion gasped.

"Can't we just let it devour them?" Sai questioned to which Xeno agreed as well.

"No, we can't just let it eat them." Davis said, Yoko may have been annoying but he couldn't let them get eaten.

"Besides depending on the species of the snake demon, they could reproduce asexual just by eating." Kikyo explained

"Wait?! Are you saying that there could be more of those things slithering in this forest?!" Xeno exclaimed,

"It depends on the species really, what kind of snake did it look like?" Kikyo asked Xion

Xion began to explain what the snake demon looked like. "So is it able to reproduce?" XIon asked.

"Lucky for us, no flying snake demons, at least the one you describe doesn't have that ability. If it was a ground one, then we could have an epidemic on our hands." Kikyo explained with a smile

"Well, you guys can take care of the snake. I'm going to stay here." Xeno said, leaning against a tree.

"I can't believe this human being that much of a coward?" Yaamon mocked Xeno.

"Pfft, it's a perfectly rational fear." Xeno said

Kikyo smiled "Snake demons also have a tendency to come after those who are alone. Once it learns you are alone, it'll come after you." Kikyo smiled

Xeno's eyes widened fear clearly in them.

"Well, goodbye, Xeni. I'll buy some flowers on your tombstone," Davis said with a cheeky grin as he began to walk away with Xion, Sai, Kikyo, and Demiveemon left.

"On second thought, I'm coming with you. After all, safety in numbers after all." Xeno smiled as he and Yaamon caught up with the group

"Nice." Xion whispered "Was that true?" she asked

Kikyo glanced and smirked "Depends on the species."

"And is this one?" XIon asked.

"No one ever finds out." Kikyo said with a dark look

"I like you." Xion smirked.

"Hey, wait up." Xeno said as he ran after them.

Jaden was still in the air when all of a sudden, he was just informed that the demon was a flying serpent demon and was heading to where it was now when all of a sudden he heard a scream that sounded like Yoko.

(Kagome, what's Yoko doing here?) Jaden asked

(How should I know?) Kagome said from her end.

(She must have heard about the mutilations and wanted to get a scoop about it for school.) Izzy said from his head.

(Well we can't depend on Xeno for any help.) Jaden said

(Why?) Sango asked

(cause I was just informed that the demon was a flying snake demon) Jaden stated

(Oh yeah, my son would utterly be useless in that situation.) Sango said in a flat tone.

(Why is he scared of snakes anyway?) Kagome asked

(A stupid game Davis, Sai and Xeno played as kids when Sai watched the snake handler show, and he dared Xeno to tried and picked up a big grass snake only, he missed and the snake wrapped around his arm and bit him on the shoulder before bitting him on the face and a few more times until I came and removed the snake from him.) Sakura explained.

(Sakura, you're back. So what's the decision on how to deal with Dimetroblade?) Jaden asked

(We're evacuating the town. And they're deploying Machinedramon for battle) Sakura said. (we're going to try to redirect him away from the town and into the ravine where we can isolate him)

(I see isolate and capture him) Jaden said (Any members of the D-Brigade helping?) he asked

(Three Tankdramon along with Cargodramon with Darkdramon as a last resort.) Sakura said.

(ok, I really wish that kid heard there's a river in that ravine right? Could have used both him and Xion's abilities to further slow him down.) Jaden frowned.

(our chances of success is about 60-40.) Sakura told him.

(And that includes the data from Dimetroblade doesn't it since he was designed purely for combat. By the way what does the government intend to do with him if they decided they wished to keep him?) Jaden asked

(Sorry Jaden, that's above my pay grade, but if I had to guess a possible weapon for the future. You know there are times I regret the research we did.) Sakura grumbled.

(So did I, so did I. however DimetroBlade won't be easy to tame that's why they're living beings regardless of their origins) Jaden said with a smile

(That's right, anyway, if we play our cards right we can stop him.) Sakura said. (anyway the demon? Kikyo and the kids are there, too?)

(Yes, but one of them will just drag them down, I hate that kid so much why does he never listen to me or you?) Jaden growled.

(He's a punk who thinks he's tough, but show him a small snake and he'll run for the hills.) Sakura remarked.

(hmph, I'll take care of this as fast as I can and make my way to where you are.) Jaden told Sakura.

A few minutes earlier, Yoko and Rito were still wandering the forest, the girl still wanting her story while the boy was still nervous and scared as he continued to observe the surroundings. Suddenly Yoko stopped while Rito, whose back was turned, bumped into her.

"Ahh!" Rito shouted in fear, almost dropping the camera.

"Rito! Stop being clumsy." Yoko glared at her friend. "If you drop that camera we won't be able to get footage of the monsters."

"S…sorry." Rito whimpered. "Y…Yoko, it isn't too late for us to leave, there's a restaurant back near the bus stop we got off of."

Yoko just shook her head in disappointment at how cowardly her friend was acting. "Show some guts Rito, this could make our career, and maybe it can also tie into Jaden." Yoko said, clenching her fists.

"You're still on that?" Rito asked.

"Think about it, Rito, all of this started not long after Jaden became a teacher, and I have a feeling that some of the students in the school might also be connected." Yoko surmised, her journalist intuition was never wrong.

Rito slumped forward, once Yoko had her mind set on something then there was nothing that could stop her. Then he got a weird feeling. "Yoko… don't you get the feeling of being watched?" Rito muttered looking around.

"Rito, man up there's nothing out here besides us and some birds and squirrels." Yoko remarked with a hand on her hip.

"Sssss."

"What was that?!" RIto gasped in fear.

"Just a snake you coward." Yoko sighed.

Rito's face then turned pale as he began to babble. "Ahh… Y…Yokoo…." Rito pointed behind Yoko.

"What is it?" Yoko frowned.

"B…behind you…." Rito whimpered.

Yoko slowly turned around and her face lost all of it's color, as she saw a giant snake in the trees. "Ahhh!" Yoko screamed which echoed through the wood.

The snake jumped at Yoko. Luckily Rito is brave enough to grab his friend's arm and pull her away as they run for their lives.

"What is that thing?!" Rito questioned.

"I don't know, a mutated snake created by the government or a toxic waste field." Yoko shouted

The two continued to run at the snake demon in pursuit of them at a fast speed. The two kids vaulted over a log as the demon smashed through it with its head.

Yoko grabbed the camera from Rito "This is Yoko of the Odaiba School Newspaper, and currently me and my cameraman are being changed by some giant mutated snake that might be responsible for the mutilations in this part of the area."

"Are you really doing this?" Rito said in shock as he ran for dear life.

"This will make for a great story." Yoko remarked.

"Yeah? If we make it out alive." Rito countered

Suddenly unknown to both Rito and Yoko who were unaware at the time Jaden who was in his Dragon form tackled the serpent demon aside and took the snake into a different part of the forest far away from the children

"Did you just see that?" Yoko asked in awe.

"Yeah…." Rito nodded quickly. "Can we go now?"

"No! We have to go after them. This is a story that can end all stories. Fierce Clash: Dragon Vs. Snake." Yoko said with stars in her eyes.

"Oh, man. Why did I have to come here?" Rito groaned "Can we at least do it from a safe distance?" he asked

"If you can get some good shots." Yoko said giving the camera to Rito. "Come on!" Yoko shouted as she grabbed Rito's hand and dragged him into the direction where Jaden and the Snake Demon went.

While flying, Jaden while still having the snake demon in his grasp eventually found a rock formation and slammed it into it with as much force as he had

(Yuki-Muto House: Lab).

The DigiDestined and their partner Digimon who were still at the lab were shocked at the brutality that Jaden just displayed

"Didn't think he would show that kind of brutality." Yolei said disturbed.

"All when he's with us, he just fits with the group." Keith said "However when he's in battle or alone he displays a much colder disposition to the point that unless his friends or family members are with him. Cause he's merciless in battle and will show no hesitation in striking down who he deems an enemy."

"Hmm." Cody muttered.

"Is something wrong, shorty?" Holo Kisara asked, seeing something was wrong with Cody.

"I… is killing really necessary?" Cody asked.

"Pfft, what would a kid like you know.." Holo Kisara scoffed

"His dad was a cop." Haruka answered.

"I should care why?" Holo Kisara said

"It's just I don't think killing to just kill archives anything, I just don't think it adds up to anything." Cody said. "Everyone, even enemies, should have a fair chance at being countable."

"Hmm, I can tell you have a good moral compass, in some cases you would be right." Holo Xion said her arms crossed. "In our world, there were enemies that did become allies."

"However we have our limits, surely you have seen Jaden's video Diary for sure?" Holo Catona said, "And that was during his journey during Duel Academy. We're not heroes of justice." she said with narrowed eyes. "This is reality."

"I…" Cody didn't know what to say.

"You're still young, there's so much of the dark side of the world you kids haven't seen, especially from humanity, Humanity can be just as evil as the monsters you fight." Holo Catona told them.

"Indeed, after all, Kagome witnessed that when she was just 15 years old when she was still in middle school," Alice said, surprising the DigiDestined as most of the 1st generation had just entered high school while the others were still in middle school with the exception of Nobu.

"To be honest, I would give my soul whether virtual or real to not have you kids experience this so early in your lives. However, here we are, a continued struggle of good vs evil with no real winners only pain." Holo Catona said in a sad tone.

"It's the way of the universe, where there is good, there has to be evil and it's a never-ending cycle." Alice said her hair covering her eyes.

"Is there really no end?" Xia asked.

"So is that what we're good for? Being soldiers in a never-ending cycle of pain?" Tai questioned.

"Who knows." Holo Kisara said with no guilt whatsoever much to Holo Mana's glare "What?" she said

"If there's one thing I learned, is that regardless of the pain the world will always need people to protect it, and that you kids and your Digimon are proof that maybe there is a way to end it. We just have to keep going to find it." Holo Mana said with a small smile.

At that point, Kagome and Sango returned. "We got it all." Sango said as she read the atmosphere. "What's wrong? Did something happen?"

"Not much, besides them watching Jaden brutally slamming a snake demon into a rock formation." Alice commented,

"Oh good, for you it's just another day in the office." Sango remarked

Jaden was surprisingly having trouble with the snake demon and that could be because it had devoured some humans to increase its power But he did manage to tear off its wings and give it a concussion when he slammed it into that rock formation. Unfortunately, it shed its skin and most of the damage was healed

Yoko and Rito arrived just in time to see the action, Rito was on one knee as he tried to keep up with them.

"Are you getting this?" Yoko asked.

"Yes, actually," Rito said

Jaden then smelled that Yoko and Rito were in the area and just snarled inward. 'Why are those two troubles?' he thought

The serpent demon then lunged at Jaden and attempted to wrap around him and squeeze him to death. Jaden however managed to escape before he wrapped around him but the serpent still lashed its tail at Jaden, knocking him to the ground

"As you all see here it's the battle of the reptiles, the mysterious Dragon and the monster snake who might be responsible for the mutilations are now in mortal combat at it seems that the Dragon is now on back foot. Who will win this epic battle?" Yoko questioned.

"20 bucks on the snake." Rito said.

The serpent then lunged at Jaden while he was still down in an attempt to bite him but Jaden grabbed both ends of his jaw and kept him away from him before tossing him behind him

Jaden attempted to communicate with the serpent through telepathy (How did you get here? And why are you doing this?) Jaden demanded

Just then Kikyo and the others arrived on the other side of the trees watching this, while Xeno stayed behind the tree.

"Got 20 bucks on the snake." Sai commented.

Kikyo glared at Sai. "You do realize that if Jaden dies that snake will come after us next right?" Xion commented,

"Hey I can at least make some money on it." Sai shrugged, which Xion delivered a kick to the side of his head, knocking him to the ground. "Ahh bitch…"

"Thank you." Kikyo nodded

"Well, not just sit, let's go." Davis said, turning around. "Come on Jameser."

"No, let's just let Jaden do this. Besides, he got this handled." Xeno said.

"Hey look." Demiveemon pointed across the area, they looked to see Yoko and Rito who were recording this.

"Oh great, why couldn't Yoko just take the message and run away?" Davis muttered.

"Do you really have to ask?" Xion muttered, looking at her brother, Davis, and Sai "And besides as if you three are one to talk."

"You too since you nearly got eaten." Sai frowned as he stood back up.

"Only because all three of you disobey Jaden." Xion muttered, "Well I can't really blame you for this one Davis as you asked him for permission to make sure he's fine this time but still."

"You didn't have to follow us." Sai pointed out.

"True, but then you three would be lost and dead without me." Xion countered

"She has a point." Kikyo commented,

"By the way, what's Jaden doing?" Xion asked,

"He must be communicating through telepathy." Kikyo explained,

"So he's talking to it?" Davis asked.

"Yes, he probably wants to know how it ended up here." Kikyo explained

(Answer me, how'd you end up here? Why are you doing this?) Jaden once again asked the serpent demon

(Simple, I need fuel in the tank.) the serpent said.

(So you caused those mutilations because you were hungry huh? Then how did you end up here?) Jaden asked

(Don't act so innocent. I've seen many dragons devour humans, for how I got here? Not sure, I was hunting for my next meal when a portal opened up before me the next thing I knew I was in this forest and what do you know, a town full of meals for me to eat.) the serpent said

Jaden sighed (Then you brought this to yourself) Jaden sighed as he flexed his claws before he suddenly vanished and in the blink of an eye he reappeared with the serpent demon's head in his hand

The serpent demon's body was spouting blood as it fell to the ground as it continued to twitch before it stopped moving and became lifeless

Jaden then tossed the serpent's head to its headless corpse.

'A dimensional Portal huh? How ominous.' Jaden thought

Yoko and Rito looked down with their mouths wide open, Rito had to hold back his lunch from what he saw.

"Did you get that?" Yoko whispered.

"Yeah. although I wished that I didn't." Rito said

"That was brutal." Demiveemon said.

"Ha, never bet against the big guy." Davis reached into Sai's pocket and pulled out 20 bucks.

Jaden than smelled that Kikyo and the others were here (Kikyo, we'll meet in town alright.) Jaden said

(what about those kids, they caught you and the demon on film?) Kikyo asked.

(Only my dragon form as long as they don't catch me reverting to my human form I should be fine.) Jaden said as he flew into town

"I'm glad that things are gone." Xeno said, finally stepping out.

"That stupid thing made me lose 20 bucks." Sai growled.

"Is that you care about?" Xion remarked.

"Maybe, I'll ask Kari out later." Davis grinned, pocketing his winnings.

"Let's just get to town." Kikyo said as the group moved for the engagement with Dimetroblade, however she quickly launched an arrow at Rito's camera embedding it into the tree.

"Ahh! Rito!" Yoko screamed in fear as she and Rito rushed over and to the tree hoping that they could salvage the footage.

'Sorry kid, but we can't have people seeing that.' Kikyo thought

Sakura stood on the outskirts of the town along with Nobu and Kari as she was making sure the final preparations were ready.

"Alright, he should be arriving in 10 minutes." Sakura said, turning to her son and Kari. "our goal is to isolate him and give him minimal breathing room to fight."

"And we have reinforcements coming in from the D-Brigade to give us additional support." Nobu added.

Kari felt a little out of place, yes she had dealt with Digimon and threats but she felt like she was in the middle of a literal military mission that you would only see in giant monster movies.

Sakura nodded before her bracelet began to ring. "(hello?) Sakura asked.

(Sakura, the Demon is taken care of and it seems like it got here by a Dimensional Portal.) Jaden told her.

(A dimensional portal?) Sakura questioned

(Yeah, don't you think it's strange first Gururumon then this serpent demon?) Jaden said

(is it possible the dimensional wall between your world and ours is breaking down?) Sakura asked.

(That's true another theory is someone is purposely creating portals and sending beings from our world to yours) Jaden said

(Could it be Chaos Breaker?) Sakura asked.

(I don't think so, if that were the case he would have brought more powerful Kaiju and demons. We might have another player testing the waters.) Jaden said

(if that's true, then it could be disastrous.) Sakura could only think of the horrors that could come.

(this is why we need to contact my world, my family and friends back home can investigate.) Jaden said.

"Ma'am." a man dressed in a swat outfit came forward. "He's almost here."

"I see, thank you." Sakura said

(Whose almost here?) Jaden asked, hearing the conversation.

(Machinedramon, he's almost here how far you are out) Sakura asked.

(Just 5 km. I'm almost near the town. Kikyo and the Brats are on their way too.) Jaden said as he continued to fly to the edge of the forest to where the town was

(good, I'll see you when you get here.) Sakura smiled, ending the transmission. "Good news, the Demon is taken care of, and Jaden and the others are on their way."

"Good, I swear Jameser never changes." Kari frowned, crossing her arms.

"Well, at least this means that Xeni can help us." Nobu smiled.

"Don't get too relaxed, it's not just this Kaiju we have to worry about, Chaos Breaker must know this Kaiju is here so he could see the chance to get it to his side." Sakura frowned slightly.

"If Chaos Breaker gets his hands on…" Kari muttered, knowing that it would be disastrous.

"So it's imperative that we don't allow it." Nobu said as he held up VastatoDrill's amulet which glowed before the armored tyrannosaurus appeared

"Ahh, VastatoDrill." Sakura said with a loving gaze as if she were looking at a child she just reunited with "Now you were definitely hard work but worth those 4 years of research."

"Humans create Digimon or Kaiju…" Gatomon frowned, as she and the others already knew that this was something no human should do. "The last time a human created a Digimon Odaiba almost got hit with a missile."

"True. However, did you know 4 years ago Jaden was also there at that time along with Choas Breaker?" Sakura said

"Really?" Kari asked.

"He did say in his video diary that he arrived 4 years ago before the Diaboromon incident." Nobu said

"Regardless, a human trying to create a Digimon to some of us is considered what you humans would refer to as Blasphemy." Gatomon said, wasn't one of those Digimon but she did feel uncomfortable with the thought of humans making Digimon.

"Hmm, maybe but I do wonder if it was a confidence that a virus infected that Digimon." Sakura said, "I once asked Jaden if Chaos Breaker was behind the infection."

"And what did he answer?" Kari asked.

"Most likely." Nobu said, as he once asked the same question as well

"We all thought it was just a random virus." Kari admitted, she wasn't really a part of it, she was at her friends birthday unaware she and many of them could have died on that day and it was scary when she found out.

"Hmmm." Gatomon hummed.

"I agree with you on one thing, no human should play god." Nobu said, looking at his mother.

Sakura just rolled her eyes. "Well, I could just ask Jaden to take away your Bakugan Traps and your Kaiju, and we'll talk to see what we should do with them."

'I think I'm starting to see why Xeno doesn't trust the government.' Kari thought she could tell that Sakura fell into the moral gray character if you watch TV shows.

"Hmph." Gatomon frowned, seeing that this woman was someone not to trust.

VastatoDrill, however, snarled at the group, telling them to get ready for battle. In his language, it could be translated that they could settle this stupid debate another time

"It's time." Sakura frowned.

"But Jaden and the others aren't here yet," Kari said.

"Just have to hold out until they get here," Gatomon said.

"Yeah, we have to hold the line," Nobu said as his and Kari's Bakugan Traps both opened up revealing Golryu and Leofang respectively

The golden armored dragon Golryu stood next to VasatoDrill with pride

Meanwhile, the white armored Lion Leofang was roaring ready for battle as well

The group heard the sound of a buzzsaw revving as foot stomps came closer

Crashing through a dense part of the forest was Dimetroblade who roared

"Ok, remember we need to divert him to the ravine to isolate him," Sakura told them.

"Right." Both Nobu and Kari replied

Both dinosaur kaiju roared at each other as they ran toward each other before clashing in a fierce display of power. Both Dinosaurs were headbutting each other and tackling each other trying to assert their dominance over the other

"They're both strong," Gatomon said.

"Alright, Leofang you're up." Kari told her Bakugan Trap.

Leofang roared as he moved in and he attacked DimtroBlade from the side, and while he was distracted VasatoDrill tackled DimetroBlade while Golryu fired a laser at Dimetroblade.

The three continued their coordinated assault for a while with Dimetroblade being helpless and starting to get worn out

(Yuki-Muto House: lab)

"Wow, they're doing great, maybe they could do this after all without Xeno and Xion and the Government help after all." Tai said

Alice only huffed. "Don't count your digieggs yet, this is only the first round." Alice frowned.

"Indeed, Dimetroblade will get his flow moving soon," Dharak said

(I'm almost there, and Kikyo told me that she and the kids are on their way.) Jaden told them. (Alice, what are Dimetroblade's readings like?) Jaden asked

"Well now that you mention it, it's strange it seems like his power is rising somehow" Alice explained

"How can his power be rising?" Jun questioned.

(scan Dimetroblade for any abnormalities alright) Jaden requested (I know he's meant for combat but there has to be a reason for his awakening cause me and Sakura hid him in a location where no humans lived and where he could live in peace until he was called for aid)

Izzy was already on it as he typed on his computer. "I think I got something." Izzy told them.

"What is it Izzy?" Joe asked.

"Some kind of power is giving him more power than he's supposed to put out, almost like a corrupted power surge." Izzy said, showing everyone the energy output from Dimetroblade. "He must have come in contact with something not only to wake him but also supercharge him and he's only going to get stronger, I'm afraid even if Xeno and Xion were there they wouldn't make much of a difference."

(Sakura did you get this?) Jaden said

(unfortunately yes,) Sakura grumbled.

Jaden sighed (Dharak, tell me can you assume your true form?) he asked, remembering what happened that day when Jaden went to the Digital World and Dharak witnessed Nikko assuming her true form, let's just say that Dharak and Helios were furious while Hydranoid was indifferent

"Are you serious!" Dharak roared. "That bitch can assume her true form while I can't!"

"She could do it the whole time while we are stuck in our ball form?!" Helios growled.

"Hmm." was all Hydranoid muttered. "It would seem she held out on us."

"Held out?! That damn bitch." Dharak roared "How dare she hold out on me."

"Maybe because she didn't want to tell ya." Alice said flatly.

Flashback end

"And I don't regret not telling you." Nikko said with amusement.

"Besides, she could only maintain her form for a limited amount of time." Kagome added in.

"Well, right now, we might need it." Dharak retorted

"It's not exactly an easy thing to do. To be honest I did it by accident." Nikko admitted. "I can try to help you all, but I don't think we have the time."

"She's right, we don't have time for a lesson," Kagome said.

"Hmm, there is one kaiju out there that could stop Dimetroblade," Keith said

"Who?" kagome asked

Keith just stared at both Kagome and Alice.

"No!, No you can't be serious," Alice said, her voice raising

"Keith, you have to be crazy." Kagome said feeling her headache coming back.

"Who is he talking about?" Catherine asked.

"Kagome, as much as we don't like this. He's right, there's not that many options left." Nikko said

"Hello, anyone wants to fill us in?" Yolei asked, waving her hand.

Keith, Kagome and Alice looked at the DigiDestined with the females sighing

(Kikyo, you got this?) Keith asked

(Right.) Kikyo said from her end as she understood what needed to be done.

"I can't believe we're really resorting to that bastard." Kagome said with spite

"I just hope this doesn't backfire on us, cause Keith I'm going to fry you." Alice warned, pointing at her friend.

"You got a better idea? I love to hear it?" Keith asked

"With limited options, you have no choice." Holo Kisara said, knowing who they were talking about.

"Can anyone please tell us what you all are referring to?" Sora asked, as she and the others were still in the dark.

"Let's just say you're about to see a side of Jaden you wish you never saw." Holo Catona frowned.

Jaden finally saw Kikyo and landed in front of her.

"I assume you got the message like me?" Jaden asked

"Yeah…" Kikyo frowned slightly. "With this escalation, we might not have a choice…"

"What were you all referring to?" Davis asked.

"You're about to see." Jaden said before turning to Kikyo and nodding to her

"If you go out of control, I won't hesitate to end you." Kikyo said, pointing an arrow at Jaden's head, shocking the four kids and the in-training digimon.

"Gotcha." Jaden smiled

"You four should leave, things are about to get out of control." Kikyo told the kids.

"Finally going to release the evil within?" Yaamon questioned.

Jaden glared down at the insignificant Digimon "Kikyo, talk with him and bring him out." Jaden said, that he usually enters the form through great times of stress or danger but he can also enter the form when he or someone communicates within the deepest reaches inside his head

Kikyo closed her eyes as she began to focus on the pink aura. (can you hear me?) Kikyo asked through telepathy.

(hahaha. How amusing. What do you want?) a voice asked

Kikyo didn't rise to the bait as she spoke. (There's something we need you to do.) Kikyo said getting to the point.

(I see and so you want me to help you is that right?) the voice asked

(Yes, there's a problem that cannot be handled and you regrettably are our only solution.) Kikyo said with no emotions.

(Very well. I'll do it) the voice said, surprising Kikyo

(Just like that? However I should warn you, you go rogue I kill you, understood?) Kikyo frowned.

(Very well, but I have some conditions in exchange for my help.) the voice said

Kikyo frowned as she knew there would be a catch to his service. (And what are they?) Kikyo questioned.

(Nothing much, just for me to be loose outside and roam around. If you want to, when we get back we'll talk more after the battle) the voice said

Kikyo only scowled, letting him loose was similar to someone opening Pandora's box however they were desperate. (very well, however, you are to wear beads similar to what I craft to keep Inuyasha in line.) if they were going to let him roam they needed to keep him in line.

(Very well then, let's get moving) the voice said satisfied

Kikyo opened her eyes as her aura dissipated. "Hmm, like I say you all should leave." Kikyo to the kids.

"I'm not leaving, Kari is that town and I'm not leaving without her." Davis said with a stubborn attitude

"Hehehe, you really are an idiot fool." a colder tone emitted from Jaden as dark energy envelop his dragon form

"The fuck…" Xeno muttered.

"Grr…" Demiveemon and Yaamon growled as they both felt an evil presence emerge.

When the dark energy vanished, Jaden's dragon form was entirely different. His scale color was still the same, being blackish scales with silver accents, but he lost the wings and instead gained a blue cape tied around his neck. His tail now ends in a golden harpoon-like tip. His mane of spikey white hair vanished and in its place he gained two thunderbolt-shaped upper horns on tops of his head, and a yellow drill-like horn on his snout.

"Hmm, it's been awhile since I was out." Jaden said as he flexed his claws

"What the heck happened to him?" Xion said as she began to shiver.

"What you have here is the dark side of his dragon personality," Kikyo explained before turning to the kids "And when I say get away from the area I mean it." she said with authority

"I'm not leaving, even if he has a dark personality," Davis said.

Jaden frowned as he suddenly appeared before Davis grasped his neck and held him high in the air "You should listen to her. I don't play well with others." the dark Jaden said as he put more pressure on Davis's throat

"Jaden, stop…I'll get them to leave so just let him go." Kikyo said

Jaden dropped Davis who grabbed his neck. "Hhhmmm." Davis shuttered.

"Just go, before I put an arrow in your head." Kikyo said in a stern tone.

Jaden turned her before he flew away. "What a freak…" Xeno commented.

"Yeah, a big freak." Sai agreed.

Davis stood up and growled. "... Kari…" Davis growled.

Kikyo glanced at Davis. "Now you know why I told you to go?" Kikyo said "We didn't want to resort to this side."

"Why haven't you killed him yet?" Xeno asked.

"He's a wildcard, comes and goes whenever Jaden is in danger. But lately, we could communicate with him in his mind." Kikyo said "And I'll be honest despite his unsavory behavior and how much I despise him, he did save me a few times in the past."

"...a wildcard isn't always a good thing, I have a bad feeling he'll flush us." Xion muttered.

"We're aware of that. Which is why Jaden gave me permission to kill him." Kikyo coldly stated

"Should have killed him a long time ago." Xeno frowned as he turned to leave. "I'm going home."

"Not going to watch." Xion asked

"If evil man is going to win there's no point in me staying." Xeno remarked.

"Aw leaving so soon." a voice came from the woods.

"Whose there?" Kikyo shouted as she aimed an arrow in the voices direction

Coming out of the darkness was Savage Beast and besides him was Vile

"Savage Beast." Davis frowned.

"Ah, I see you're acquainted. Allow me to introduce myself My name is Vile and I'm Chaos Breakers General." Vile said as he introduced himself

"What do you fuck jobs want?" Xeno questioned pulling out his guns.

"Originally, we wanted Dimetroblade, but with the energy readings and the dark side of Jaden's Dragon from there, the mission was deemed impossible to succeed in." Vile explained, "However, we could still take your Bakugan Traps, so if you would please hand them over."

"You really think we're going to give you our Bakugan Traps, forget it." Davis frowned.

"Well to be honest. I was hoping you'll refuse." Vile said. If he had a mouth, he would be smirking as his shoulder-mounted cannon lowered

"Separate!" Kikyo called.

The cannon fired just as the group split up while Savage Beast went after Xion

"Bitch, I'm going to maul you for what your brother did to me." Savage Beast roared as he swiped his claws at Xion

"Why not just maul him?!" Xion gasped as she backflipped away from the slash.

Orcanoid resumed his true form and stared down Savage Beast

Suddenly Tyannodrones appeared as everyone began to fight.

"Hey Beastman, you and I have a score to settle," Xeno said walking forward as he shot behind him blowing a Tyrannodrone's head off.

"Yes, we do. It took a week for my arm to fix." Savage Beast snarled "And for the damage to be repaired."

"Oh let me take that arm off this time." Xeno grinned.

"Let me handle this." Yaamon bounced in front of Xeno.

"You're really letting a pathetic second-rate Kemonogami like that fight for you?" Savage Beast asked with a snarl

"Kemonogami?" Xeno arched an eyebrow feeling like he knew that name from somewhere.

"Hmph, then why don't I show you who you're messing with." Yaamon smirked as Xeno's digivice began to glow.

"Yaamon Digivolve too… Impmon!"

Impmon landed on the ground and crossed his arms.

Xion ducked under a Tyannodrone's attack, before kicking it in the gut Knocking it back, before kicking backwards hitting another Tyannodrone that was about to attack her from behind. She rolled to the side breaking into a hand standing spinning on her hands spreading her legs as she spun so fast she kicked several away before leaping onto to her feet.

Meanwhile Kikyo was skillfully sniping down Tyrannodrones with her archery skills and when Tyrannodrones that did namaned to get close to engaged in melee combat with her. She punched one in the head, before kick another to the reaching into her quiver, she pulled out an arrow enchanting it with her power before slamming it into a Tyrannodrone's chest creating a large gap as it fell over. She and with a fierce swings she slit the throat of another before throwing the arrow across the field hitting a Tyrannodrone in the head as the Sacred Power caused it to explode.

The Miko brushed her hair back, as if mocking her fallen enemies.

Impmon jumped up and backflips into a tree before bounce off the surface at a Tyrannodrone and delivered a punch to it's face knocking to the ground. Two more Tyannodones attack, to which the devil child digimon conjured a ball of dark red fire in one hand and a ball of ice in the other.

"Night of fire! And Night of Ice!" Impmon called throwing them at the two however when they made contact the attacks just seemingly vanished but his enemies began to twitch holding there chests. Impmon grinned as he clench his fists.

The Tyrannodrones roared in pain as the first one exploded in a ball of flames scattering his parts and the other had ice cicles protruding from his body before it fell over.

"Tch, such weaklings." Impmon mocked.

"Strike Thunder!" Xeno shouted unleashing a blast of purple electricity from his hands.

Savage Beast just leaped into the air avoiding the lightning before leaping against a tree and rushing at Xeno "Die." Savage Beast yelled as he aimed his claws at the boy

"Grr." Xeno growled as flipped the safeties on his guns and using the new blade mode that Jaden installed parry Savage Beast's claws before pushing him away.

Savage Beast landed on his feet "I see that your toys have some new tricks." Savage Beast said

"Yeah, and I'm looking forward to dissecting you." Xeno said slashing the blades before crossing them into an X.

"Try it human scum." Savage Beast snarled as he had his claws ready

"Hehe." Xeno chuckled.

At that point Savage Beast rushed at Xeno before Xion's Bakugan Trap Orcanoid took him by surprise. Ramming him in the side knocking him down just as Xion came to her brothers aid

"Hey." Xion called out as she ran to him

"What took you so long?" Xeno quipped.

"Excuse me for being preoccupied." Xion said in a sarcastic voice

"Bitch." Savage Beast snarled getting the siblings attention as he stood back up

"I don't like being called bitch, you circus freak." Xion glared.

Savage Beast snarled "Wild Rush!" he shouted

"Oh boy…" Xion muttered, not liking this while Xeno stood firm.

Savage Beast's head and both his claws detach as they were shot at them and Orcanoid at High speeds. The limbs and head hit the siblings as well as the Bakugan Trap knocking them down despite Xeno using his blades to brace for the impact.

While Orcanoid reverted back to Trap form The head and limbs than returned to Savage Beast.

"Yeah. i knew that i didn't like this." Xion groaned as she felt the pain

"You ok?" Xeno asked his sister.

"I felt that pain, and it's like having an organ yanked out of you." Xion said as she flinched as she held her side.

Savage Beast roared

"Guess now we know why he's called Savage Beast." Xion commented

Xeno just nodded. "Take a break, leave this to me." Xeno told her.

"No, i'm staying with you." Xion said

At the moment Vile was battling both Sai and Davis and firing off his wrist-mounted Vulcans and his shoulder cannon and the two were hiding in a dense thick forest with the tree serving as cover

"You know, I used to want to meet a real-life robot, but I never thought it would be trying to kill me." Davis said.

"Same," Sai said

Davis looked down at Demiveemon. "Feel like you can take him?" Davis asked.

"I'm always ready Davis." Demiveemon smirked.

Davis nodded as his digivoice began to glow.

"Demiveemon Digivolve to… Veemon."

Vile saw and analyzed that the same Kemonogami had just evolved "fascinating." as he stopped firing

The three were confused.

"You think that he ran out of ammo?" Davis asked

Suddenly the trees were pelted with bullets.

"That answers your question?" Sai scowled.

Vile then retracted his left hand and shot out a stream of flames at where the three were.

"Oh shit." Sai shouted

"He has a flamethrower!" Davis gasped.

At that moment Sai's Bakugan Trap opened up, revealing a blue armored alligator-like Bakugan

"Huh?" Sai gasped looking at the bakugan trap. "Can you put out these damn flames?"

Armorgator just nodded as he fired a stream of water at the flames, dousing it out.

"I'm sick of this." Davis frowned, done hiding.

"Yeah." Sai said as his arms were engulfed in scale-like armor ending in claws "Still love it." he grinned

Davis's hand was enveloped in a golden aura. "Still don't know what this power is…" Davis said.

"So, rush him on 3?" Sai asked

Davis nodded and began to count down. "1, 2, 3!" Davis shouted

Davis, Sai, and Veemon rushed out the treeline at Vile, who began to unleash a stream of fire at Davis with Armorgator blocking the attack with his armored scales, the flames not even hurting the gator.

Veemon jumped at Vile. "V-Headbutt!" Veemon called out, but Vile backhanded the little Digimon sending him smashing into tree.

Sai and Davis rushed at the robot, who unleashed a barrage of bullets at the two forcing them to scatte as Vile turned the barrage at Davis who was using the trees as cover as he ran from the bullets as he took shelter behind a boulder, his enemies attack bouncing off of it.

"Hey!" Sai called out, Vile turned and tried to deliver a side punch however Sai bent down avoiding the attack, he then spung up his claws open delivering and upper claw to the robot.

"Ack!" Vile gacked, as he rose a few inches off the ground, Sai grabbed his leg and slammed him face first into the ground making and impact.

"Not so tough now are you?" Sai remarked.

"Little brat…" Vile shot to his feet punched Sai in the face knocking him off the ground then grabbing the young boy's leg slamming him on the ground a few time causing Sai to cough up blood.

However before he could do more, Sai's Bakugan Partner Armorgator used his tail to knock Vile away from the robot dropping Sai in the process. The Robot landed on the ground with a hard thud.

"Ugh, thanks…" Sai thanked his Trap Bakugan.

Armorgator nodded appreciating the thanks.

Vile slowly got to his feet, and groaned in frustration. "Damn it, these little brats are annoying." Vile grumbled.

The robot looked to see Davis glaring at him. "My turn…" Davis said taking off his goggles before tossing them to the side.

Vile wasted no time and unleashed a barrage of bullets at Davis who used his powers to create a gold barrier around himself, the gogglehead frowned as he began to move forward pushing against the attack.

"Little pest!" Vile shouted unleashing his flamethrowers which forced Davis to stop in place now feeling abit of the heat against his golden shield.

"V-Headbutt!" Veemon shouted he tackled Vile from behind, forcing him to hold off his attack on Davis.

Seeing the opportunity, Davis rushed forward concentrating the golden energy into his fists. Before Vile could recover, the gogglehead unleashed a punch to his face sending the robot skidding back but was still standing barely keeping his balance.

Vile then used his Gatling gun firing bullets at Davis, who was able to barely jump and dodge them as he rushed forward at the robot, once Davis was within reach Vile threw a punch Davis grinned, performing a soccer move dropping to the ground and slid barley evading the attack sliding between Vile's legs however the menacing Robot grabbed him by the neck

"I have enough of these games boy." Vile said, his visor glowing

"You know what?" Davis choked slightly. "Us too…"

Sai slashed Viles back creating a slash mark. "Ahh!" Vile shouted in pain dropping Davis who moved back with Sai, Veemon and Armorgator joining him.

"Damn you." Vile cursed as he clenched his fist

Meanwhile Dragon Jaden has arrived at Dimetroblade's location Dimetroblade was still battling LeoFang, VastatoDrill, and Golryu but now the tables have turned with Dimetroblade overpowering them despite the numbers advantage

"Hmm, interesting." Dragon Jaden hummed, there he looked down and saw Sakura with Kari and her son Nobu

"If this keeps up we won't make it." Sakura gritted her teeth.

"Hmm, I could see why they have to resort to me." Dragon Jaden grinned as he gathered dark flames in his hands and dive-bombed Dimetroblade from above

"What the?" Kari uttered, sensing an evil energy.

Dimetroblade roared in pain as Dragon Jaden flew up into the air and he gave a slasher smile

All the other Kaiju and Bakugan Traps roared at him in fear and anger as they could sense him as a threat.

"Who is that?" Gatomon asked as her fur was now standing on end.

"So, they have to resort to that. The government would really love this report." Sakura groaned

"What do you mean?" Nobu questioned his mom.

Dragon Jaden stuck up a finger and once again began gathering dark flames before firing a team at Dimetroblade who roared in agony while the Dragon just gave a slasher smile.

"We need him alive, asshole!" Sakura shouted up at him.

Dragon Jaden heard Sakura and clicked his tongue "Tch." As he remembered as he reduced the power while still firing his flames at Dimetroblade who eventually reverted to an amulet.

"Is it over?" Gatomon asked.

"Yeah, and more headaches for me from my bosses later." Sakura messaged her scalp.

(Yuki-Muto House: Lab)

"Fuck, we are going be in deep shit." Alice leaned back in the chair. "Why couldn't I have been killed back then? Why?"

"Alice, it needed to be done," Keith said.

"You have a point, but you all have lot of explaining to do for your organization," Sango said.

"I never thought I would see Jaden like that." Tai said.

"I know. He always seems so laid back and easy to get along with." Catherine said

"Well guess what, this is a side that no one should get to know and one of the reasons why it's hard for us to be around him." Kagome frowned.

"Well, we still have to deal with this shitstorm," Alice said, knowing a headache would come soon

"Well on the bright side, we stopped the Kaiju, killed a demon and prevented a major disaster, I doubt you'll be punished as much, the only downside is that the government knows about Jaden's dark side which means they might have to put you all on a short leash." Holo Catona said

Meanwhile Kikyo and the children were still fighting with Kikyo using a combination of martial arts and her Miko abilities to dispatch a large number of Tyrannodrone

While battling Davis and Sai, Vile got an incoming message from Zeltrax which eventually caused him to stand down,however he didn't want leave until he ended these annoying kids however he didn't want to deal with his master or Zeltrax

"You two are lucky, next time I'll end you both along with you partner" Vile said before he vanished along with the Tyrannodrones

"That's right run." Sai said.

"Tch, they'll be back." Davis muttered.

Meanwhile Savage Beast was still fighting both Xeno and Xion when he got the message which caused him to stand down as well which caused him to snarl.

"What's wrong beastie?" Xeno mocked.

"Master wants us to leave. But keep your eyes open because I'll be back and we'll settle our score." Savage Beast growled as he vanished.

"I'll be waiting to mount you on my wall." Xeno frowned, putting his guns away.

"Xeni, don't antagonize the monster with long claws, I've had a long day." Xion sighed, as she didn't want to be caught up in that battle.

"I'm hungry." Impmon said. "I could go for a chocolate bar right now."

"I'm starving too." Veemon said, holding his stomach.

"Let's go to that restaurant in town." Kikyo said as she appeared, "Me and Sakura will treat."

"Good, all that fight can make a boy hungry." Davis said, stretching his arms.

At that point, Dragon Jaden arrived at the Yuki Muto residence. He didn't even relinquish control back to Jaden as was part of the agreement

Eventually he made it down to the lab surprising everyone

"Get out of here." Alice frowned standing up.

"When you say 'Get Out'." Dragon Jaden commented, "Do you mean for me to relinquish control back to Jaden or get out of the room or house?" he asked

"You know what she means, give Jaden back." Keith frowned, stepping in front of Alice.

"Oh that, yeah afraid that's impossible." Dragon Jaden smirked

"Why is that?" Kagome asked

"See now why should I help you all For free ?" Dragon Jaden asked,

"You fucking made a deal with Kikyo." Alice growled. "What did she agree to?"

"Nothing much, just for me to roam around for awhile but in exchange you could watch over me, you could all talk about it when she comes back from that restaurant in town." Dragon Jaden smiled "I hear it has delicious steak."

"Kagome go grab an arrow and shoot him in the head." Alice said with no hesitation.

Dragon Jaden frowned "Now that's impolite?" he stated

"You're just going to kill him, want about your husband?" Sora asked in shock.

"This isn't my husband, just a freak that is too dangerous to be left roaming around." Alice frowned.

"In fairness. I didn't even try anything…yet to deserve so much distrust from you." Dragon Jaden said

"They have every reason not to trust you, like when you tried to mind rape Kagome the only reason you're even around is that you're useful alive and Jaden is family." Holo Catona frowned.

Dragon Jaden just rolled his eyes as he began leaving for the lab but not before Kagome shot an arrow at Dragon Jaden who caught it, "Still as quick as ever..my dear." Dragon Jaden smiled before he left the lab

"Fuck, Kikyo has really done it now, I can't believe we got that desperate!" Kagome shouted, snapping her bow in half.

"Hate to break it to you, regardless of what you say, he's a necessary evil and sometimes having those around is better than not." Holo Kisara frowned.

"I hate to say this but she's right, despite not trusting him we are better off having him with us instead of against us." Holo Xion remarked.

(I'm sorry.) Kikyo said on her end. (I had to agree that his terms were the only way he could help us.)

"You know he can't be trusted." Alice frowned.

"Why would you even agree to that monster's terms?" Matt demanded.

(Would you want that town or your friends to be killed? Sometimes you have to make necessary decisions in order to achieve victory, if I didn't agree then Sakura, Kari and Nobu would have been killed.)

"What was your deal with him?" Keith questioned.

(I would allow him to roam around, and we all keep an eye on him. However I add that I put a restraint on him similar to Inuyasha, so if Kagome and I make new beads we should be able to keep him in check.) Kikyo explained.

"How long until we get to see Jaden again, did you even ask for that?" Alice asked.

(Alice, you of all people had the bigger picture as Jaden did. He was willing to allow his darker side to take over so he could prevent this, and he did save my life a few times so there's that.) Kikyo said.

"Grr…" Alice just growled, as she knew Kikyo was right and there was nothing she could even do. "Fine, when you're done, I want you back here immediately and I want you and Kagome to work on those restraints ASAP."

(understood.) Kikyo said before the connection ended.

"Things just keep going bad to worse doesn't it?" Sango frowned.

"You know, I think deep down, I hate Bakugan, Kaiju, and Demons for all the headaches they bring." Alice frowned, her husband was gone for as long as his darker half was out and now she and Sakura had to explain everything to the government while Kikyo and Kagome worked on the beads.

Hydranoid was startled just for a moment as he glanced at Alice, luckily Alice didn't see his reaction and even if she did hate all kaiju, Bakugan and demons: Hydranoid would still side with her no matter what hoping to bring back the innocent girl that he partnered up with so long ago.

"You can mean that can you?" Keith asked.

"Keith, ever since I've met Jaden he's always dragged me and everyone else into his stupid adventures, I can't even enjoy bakugan without thinking of a possible death match or war on the horizon even duel monsters are starting to bring fear back home." Alice frowned.

Alice just sighed. "Sorry… it's just… I don't know what to do in my life…" Alice said as she left the lab to get some air.

"Poor lady." Yolei said feeling sorry for Alice.

"This kind of life takes its toll on people, and I'm afraid Alice is almost near her limit." Hydranoid said. "She wasn't always like this, the more and more she get involved the more miserable she'll become and the same goes for a lot of you down the line which I'm hoping won't happen."

(Restaurant)

Meanwhile in a nice restaurant, Kikyo, Sakura, Davis, Kari, Nobu, Xeno and Xion were eating a nice meal

"Man this is good." Davis grinned, enjoying the steak.

"Do you have to eat with your mouth open?" Xion asked with disgust

"Who are you? My mother?" Davis asked while Kari smacked him in the head. "Ow!"

"Chew your food." Kari frowned at her boyfriend's table manners.

"Hey we just fought Savage Beast, Vile, and Tyannodrones and got to know Dragon Freaks evil half we deserve to be sloppy." Sai said he scarfed down a burger.

"As much as I hate to agree with him. He's right." Kikyo said "They deserve a great job. "Also you should watch your mouth when he's within earshot." she warned

"You made a deal with him?" Sakura asked with a straight face. "Tell me you have precautions in place for him."

"Sadly no. but when I get back I'll prepare them ASAP." Kikyo said "Which I'll do right now." as she stood up and went to the counter to pay for their food

"Oh she better, cause my bosses are breathing down my neck wanting information and wanting to know if they are all dangerous." Sakura frowned, not long after the mission she had gotten calls from her bosses demanding an explanation from both her and Jaden about this, however since Jaden would be out for who knows how long she and Alice would need to explain.

"Hmmm, when I felt him it was like… I felt like I was going to die." Kari said, looking into her glass of juice.

"Almost choked me to death, but I'll get him back." Davis frowned, he was afraid but wouldn't show up.

"You know the more we spend with these freaks, the more I think that we are way over our heads." Xeno frowned as he took a sip of his soda.

"Getting scared Xeni?" Nobu mocked.

Xeno just scowled from the nickname. "Hardly… what about you Nobi? What did you think of Dragon Man's darker side?" Xeno questioned.

Nobu just sighed. "I'm not afraid to admit that I was scared, however if it wasn't for that dark side we wouldn't be here, the pros outweigh the cons, having a wildcard like that is necessary." he said with logic.

"More like a double-edged sword." Xion frowned. "Still I won't deny that you and Kikyo are right. He's a necessary evil that we need when things get to much"

"Why don't we just stop talking about this and enjoy our lunch." Davis suggested.

At that time, out in the back of the restaurant Veemon, Impmon and Gatomon were eating food that Kikyo had bought them. And while they hate Impmon is trying to flirt with Gatomon who was not even impressed.

"You should've seen me, that beast didn't even see me coming." Impmon boasted.

"Oh really?" Gatomon asked sarcastically.

"Leave her alone, Impmon." Veemon frowned.

"Come on kitty, I know you are impressed with me." Impmon flirt.

"If you don't stop, I'll claw out your eyes!" Gatomon threatened holding her claws up.

"Ohh, a feisty kitten, is this how you acted when you went for Myotismon?" Impmon grinned.

"Don't bring him up!" Gatomon hissed as Veemon got between them.

"That's enough, Gatomon, he's not worth it." Veemon said getting the feline to back down.

"Phh not worth it, like you are worth anything dragon boy." Impmon mocked Veemon.

"Shut up Impmon, I can take you." Veemon warned.

"Oh really?" Impmon said.

However soon they both were scratched across the face "Ahhh!" both shouted holding their faces in pain.

"Hmph, male Digimon always trouble." Gatomon frowned, crossing her arms.

"You bitch." Impmon whimpered, holding face.

"Why me?" Veemon asked,

"Because you're annoying like your partner." Gatomon scoffed.

"Haa, you should treat me with more respect!" Impmon shouted as he created a small fireball.

Gatomon raised her claws in preparation for a fight.

However, just before anything could happen. They heard chanting

"Hear that?" Veemon asked.

The three moved down the alley to see Kikyo as she was chanting. "What is she saying?" Veemon asked.

"Don't you know anything numbskull? She's chanting an incantation" Gatomon frowned.

"I don't like it." Impmon frowned.

"You don't like anything." Veemon remarked.

"You say that to my face, cause I'm ready to finish what we started eons ago." Impnon said

"Shut up, you two idiots." Gatomon snapped "And he's right, you don't like anything or anyone." she frowned at Impmon

"I like your feistiness." Impmon flirted.

"Impmon leave her alone." Veemon frowned.

"Both of you shut up.' Gatomon growled, feeling like she had her own Davis and Xeno with her. All that was missing was Xion and Sai to go with them.

At that moment Kikyo finished her incantation and soon beads appeared in her hand. "Good, this will keep him in line, and it's 10x stronger than Inuyasha's."

Kikyo then called Kagome (Hey sis.) Kikyo said

(Thanks for the problems, now Alice is feeling depressed.) Kagome said in an agitated voice.

(Well, I made a new set of beads of subjugation that are 10x stronger than the ones on Inuyasha.)

(OK, but are you sure they'll work? Remember, he isn't any normal kaiju, he's an evil dragon half of Jaden.) Kagome asked.

(I'm not sure.) Kikyo said. (We'll just have to hope for the best now won't we.)

(like that's going to do any good, I'm planning on moving out if he's roaming around.) Kagome remarked.

(You're overreacting, you should have more faith, you are a Miko.) Kikyo rolled her eyes.

(Faith can only get you so far when you are dealing with Jaden. You know how much pain he caused Alice?) Kagome asked.

(Kagome, I understand that you and the others are upset, but now we have to deal with it. I plan on killing him if he gets out of control and you should be willing to kill, I don't trust him but he's a necessary asset we have no choice.) Kikyo said in a firm tone.

(Whatever, just make sure that thing stays away from me.) Kagome said as she hung up

(Yuki-Muto House)

When Kikyo and the others returned. They said that they'd discuss what happened tomorrow before everyone left for the day leaving just the house residents with Dragon Jaden.

Eventually, Fabia returned and at that moment Kagome, Kikyo, Alice, and Keith left the lab to see both Fabia and Dragon Jaden in the living room

"Hello beautiful. What's wrong?" Dragon Jaden asked with a grin towards Kagome and Alice

Kagome used her new bow and shot an arrow into the coach just missing Dragon Jaden's shoulder.

"Oh feisty…I love it when they play hard to get." Dragon Jaden purred

Kikyo grabbed an arrow and held it against Dragon Jaden's neck as she glared into his eyes. "Talk, and this goes right into your neck…" Kikyo told him.

"Talk? About what beautiful?" Dragon Jaden said

Kikyo frowned, jabbing the Arrow into his shoulder with sacred energy engulfed in it.

Dragon Jaden's eyes slightly twitched from the sacred energy but otherwise, he didn't feel anything

"This was a bad idea, as we all know." Alice frowned.

"I'll ask again. Talk about what?" Dragon Jaden asked, his eyes narrowing down as he glared at her

"The deal you made with Kikyo, in exchange for helping you, allowed you to roam free, however, that condition is… risky." Kagome frowned.

"Oh that deal…I'll just be here for a week or so." Dragon Jaden smiled

"Jaden has a job as a teacher, him taking a sudden week off is suspicious." Alice crossed her arms.

"Despite my blood knight behavior I'm still Jaden and I still have all his qualifications." Dragon Jaden smirked,

"Fuck no." Keith frowned. "You aren't Jaden, only a physical manifestation of the evil side of his heart."

Dragon Jaden rolled his eyes. "Whatever. The point being I'm able to do his job." Dragon Jaden said

"No, I'm not letting you near that school or those kids." KIkyo frowned, drawing the line. "You will be free to roam, however, you will have these on at all times." Kikyo showed him the beads.

"Fine but you figure out how to explain Jaden's sudden absence." Dragon Jaden smirked

"I'll say he was called for an expedition and will be away for a while." Keith frowned.

"Keh, way to ruin my fun." Dragon Jaden scoffed

"Shut up!" Alice gets in Dragon Jaden's face. "I'm sick of you and I'm sick of all this bullshit Dragon business, if you don't shut up or else I'll get my one weapon and cut off your tongue then you head!"

"I can't see my husband because of your existence, so I want you to shut the fuck up." Alice growled.

"Well, I'll be going to sleep." Dragon Jaden smirked "Also Kagome, it's no mistake that Rin looks like you." he said

"Fuck you, I'm going to a hotel for the week." Kagome said as she left the room to go pack.

"Well, this is something," Fabia muttered.

"Kikyo, he's your responsibility," Alice told the Miko before she left the room.

Keith sighed as he also left the room to go to bed leaving just Fabia, Kikyo, and Dragon Jaden

30 minutes later Kagome went down with a suitcase

"Are you really going to leave?" Fabia asked with a frown.

"I am." Kagome said "I can't be around that thing. Call me when Jaden returns alright." she said as she left

"The problem is that he is Jaden." Fabia said

Dragon Jaden just gave a slasher smile. "Hehehehe." he chuckled

"What's so funny?" Fabia questioned.

"It's not like my favorite Miko will be staying at a hotel. I block her cards." Dragon Jaden smirked

"Well it's a good thing Alice has a secret account which you and your better half don't know about in case." Fabia smirked.

"You sure about that?" Dragon Jaden smirked, making both Kikyo and Fabia frown

An hour later.

"I can't fucking believe it!" Kagome shouted, tossing her suitcase at a window, and breaking it.

"Wow wow, what's going on here." Keith said as both he and Alice came

"My cards were declined!" Kagome shouted. "I can't go to a hotel!"

"I can give you one hint. As to why." Alice frowned as she looked towards the living room. "Here Kagome, I'll call Sakura. She has plenty of room and I'm sure she'll be happy to have you there until all of this blows over."

Kagome instantly got the message as to who blocked her cards and was even more furious. "That fucking bastard. He even blocked that secret account you have." Kagome snarled

"I never told him or anyone but you." Alice gritted her teeth.

"I'll call a window repair man in the morning." Keith sighed.

"I'll be going to Sakura's right now." Kagome said as she left

Alice marched into the living room and glared at Dragon Jaden. "You fucking asshole!" Alice frowned.

"Whatever do you mean?" Dragon Jaden asked "Is this about blocking my dear Kagome's cards?" he asked

"You are fucked up being, declining Kagome's cards, how the fuck did you know about my secret account only me and Kagome know it and have access to it, it's separate from all of our accounts," Alice shouted.

"I have my ways. Also in case you're wondering 'no' your husband doesn't have access to your secret account." Dragon Jaden said

Alice began to huff and puff as she grabbed a butter knife from the table and before she could attack Keith grabbed her arm. "He's not worth it Alice," Keith said in a stern tone.

"Oh yeah, I'm sure you're all wondering why I always have an obsession with Kagome." Dragon Jaden asked

"Cause you're a fucked up being." Alice frowned

Dragon Jaden just gave a slasher smile "Its' because she's the reincarnation of the Supreme Queen Cadance: and the Reiki Family were instrumental in calming down the Dragon of the Darkness Flame whenever it appears. Have you ever wondered why your powers were able to calm down the Dragon whenever it appeared and it was purified?" he asked Kikyo

"Hmmm." Kikyo only hummed.

"It's the same for Kagome and since Kikyo was descended from the Reiki Family it's the same result, the Dragon from hell feels relaxed in their presence as do I." Dragon Jaden explained

"So what? I should be more than enough to deal with you." Kikyo said with a glare.

"True but Kagome just emits a relaxing aroma to me that calms even me of all dragons. It must be because she's the reincarnation of Haou's wife just as you were her incarnation and the same goes for Rin." Dragon Jaden smiled "Course it's no surprise seeing as she's the reincarnation of Haou and Cadance's daughter."

"They didn't have a daughter." Alice frowned. From her memories, only Valice and Diana had children with Haou.

"You should asked that meddlesome Dragon." Dragon Jaden smirked as he closed his eyes sleeping

"Hmm, could what he is saying is true?" Keith questioned.

"I don't trust his words, he's saying that so he can rape Kagome later," Alice said. "If Cadance had a daughter, she would have told me my past life and the others at least."

"We should at least ask Nikko." Fabia asked

"She won't tell anyone of us that easily, remember she did vow to Candance to keep certain information a secret," Dharak said, hopping on Alice's shoulder. "There are some things that she won't even tell Kagome until she reaches maturity."

"She's 19 years old." Fabia scoffed

"And to most on Cray that is still a child, you saw how she acts that is not mature." Dharak remarked.

Everyone was quiet. How are they supposed to break this to Kagome and how are they going to see if Dragon Jaden is saying is the truth or is a lie?

(Sakura's House)

"I'm sorry to intrude on ya Sakura." Kagome apologized.

"Nothing to worry about, still I can't believe he just canceled your credit cards." Sakura frowned, things must be even worse than she thought.

"He's just waiting until my guard is down to assault me." Kagome frowned.

"You can stay here as long as you like Kagome, Haruka is already making up your room." Sakura said. "To tell you the truth, when I first learned of this evil half of Jaden I was skeptical but now seeing it in full action I understand why you all consider it dangerous."

"Tch, I hate being related to him, he always makes things worse either as just regular Jaden or his Dragon half, being related to him is a fate worse than death itself." Kagome frowned.

"Damn." Sakura muttered "And what about you?" she asked Nikko

"Hmm, I believe she is taking this too far with that comment." Nikko remarked.

"Nikko, I can't go back there as long as Dragon Jaden is out, he's Kikyo's responsibility and I don't care if I'm the reincarnation of a queen. Jaden is not my responsibility, Kikyo is willing to deal with him but not me." Kagome said.

'But you are the only one to keep his dark half at bay.' Nikko thought she wanted to tell Kagome what her and Rin's purposes were but she wasn't mature enough to understand not only that she had a feeling that Dharak knew her duty as well even though she never told him. More reasons why Kagome teased her that they were perfect together much to her embarrassment. 'Cadance what am I supposed to do, the only ones to keep your husband's reincarnations dark half at bay is at odds with him, the stupid man is only driving her further from him.'

At that point, Nikko heard a clicking sound on the windows and she turned to see Dharak in chibi form tapping his claws on the window hoping to get her attention.

Dharak then gave her a signal that they should talk outside

"Here's your room, Kagome." Haruka said, opening the door.

Kagome walked in and saw it was a decent size bed room, with a nice bead, a brown dresser, with a TV on a deck away from the bed.

"Thank you, both of you." Kagome smiled.

"You're welcome, we'll leave you to unpack." Sakura said as she and Haruka left.

"I'm going to look around, might as well get to know the place we will be staying at for a week." Nikko said as she rolled out of the room.

Nikko arrived outside in the garden where Dharak was waiting in a bird bath. "What is it Dharak?" Nikko questioned.

"Master's dark side told them about cadence and the power her family has." Dharak explained

"And the others aren't sure if he's lying or not. Also other than me you're the only one who knows that Rin is his daughter reincarnated..so I'm sure you know what I'm talking about." he said glaring at Nikko

"And why should I care about your master?" Nikko asked.

"I'm not asking to do it for my master but about your master." Dharak stated

"It's mostly your master's fault he reached this point, ruining his own life, and look at where it's gotten him?" Nikko remarked.

"Watch your mouth wench." Dharak growled

"You know it's the truth." Nikko remarked.

"And I'm sure keeping this secret from your master is better. Eventually, she'll find out the truth sooner or later at the rate his dark side is going." Dharak said "And then what? What was your master's plan then?" he asked

Nikko turned and glared at Dharak. "I'm only following my master's orders, I can't tell her reincarnation only when she reaches maturity I can tell her, but now is the not time, if Haou told you to keep things from Jaden then you would have held onto the information without wavering right?" Nikko asked.

"Indeed your right…there's nothing we can do." Dharak said

"Face it Dharak, this darkness is of your own master's doing and it's his own doing that is driving Kagome off the deep end, both of them need to mature, he failed with his own hatchlings and what makes you think he can help Kagome?" Nikko frowned.

"True. but tell me how should our masters mature?" Dharak asked

"If I knew that answer we wouldn't be here." Nikko growled, before sighing. "Cadance told me that she knew her next life would be just like her, so I waited until I was on earth at one point during the feudal era and I thought I had found her. But no, I found a miko who was cold and calculating but did have a good heart, however she wasn't Cadance."

"Does Kikyo know about this? Did you appear before her when she was an adult or when she was still a child?" Dharak asked

"I saved her and her sister, this was before Haou time traveled. However when I approached her, I felt sacred energy and knew it was part of her family but it wasn't her power, yes she was Reincarnation but she didn't inherit Cadance's powers." Nikko said

"And so you left Earth. Did you ever sense Kagome's presence when she was born perhaps?" Dharak asked

"I felt it, but I couldn't go. I had four hatchings to look out for, but I knew in my heart the two of us would meet," Nikko said.

"Eventually, me and Kagome and Kikyo went to our kind's birthplace and you know the rest." Dharak said "Did you recognize her then? Including Kikyo?" he asked

"Yes, when I looked at Kikyo I knew she was the girl I saved but now dead, but Kagome, I knew she was like Cadance not just in looks but in personality and her arguments with Inuyasha really reminded me of when she and Haou would be at each other's throats." Nikko said.

"But I was surprised to see Rin," Nikko admitted.

"Really? I remember the little rascal quite fondly back in the day." Dharak said

"Think I don't? One of the purest of the Haou's children, always so innocent and yearning for an adventure. Too bad that her life ended twice or three times." Nikko frowned. "Dharak, I want to see Kagome happy. I want to tell her. However, it's the time only when she and Jaden actually try to fix things. It's not Kagome who needs to take the first step; it's Jaden. You need to fix yourself before you can help others."

"Huh, indeed and he was doing so well until this incident, wouldn't you say?" Dharak asked

"Yes, when he and Sakura played god, things started going to hell. Now we have more human corpses to add to the pile." Nikko frowned.

"Indeed but what other choice would you recommend to keep the powers away?" Dharak asked

"I wouldn't know the answer, cause my wings would be tied in all directions," Nikko answered.

Dharak then yawned as he fell asleep

"Hmph, dummy," Nikko smirked. She might as well stick around. The night was beautiful, at least.

Nikko went to sleep as well before she eventually snuggled up to Dharak

(Yuki-Muto Residence)

Alice had finished making breakfast, and Keith and Kikyo were sitting at the table. However, they all were thinking about yesterday. Was what Dragon Jaden just told them really true?

At that point, Dragon Jaden came by "Morning everyone. What's for breakfast dear?" Dragon Jaden asked with a grin

"I'm not your dear." Alice frowned. "And it's eggs, bacon and biscuits."

"So you say gorgeous." Dragon Jaden said as he sat down before eating like a gentleman

Alice just shook her head, seeing how stupid Dragon Jaden looked trying to act like a gentleman which he wasn't

"So how's Kagome doing?" Keith asked as he ate.

"She's settling in, and Sakura told me that Kagome's going to take over Jaden's classes until he's back." Alice said.

"Ahh, I would have done it." Dragon Jaden said.

"No one cares about you." Alice frowned. "Kagome isn't here, because you exist."

"Tsk, tsk. That's not proper behavior for a lady now is it." Dragon Jaden mocked. "Oh wait, you're more like my concubine."

Alice glared, feeling her anger boiling before she took a breath she sat down and began to eat.

"That reminds me, where's your dark half? I know she could come and go as she pleases." Dragon Jaden asked

Alice didn't reply as she just ignored him, as she just continued eating, not bothering to acknowledge Dragon Jaden.

"If I were to just stop, no one cares that you are here." Kikyo remarked.

"Now that's being rude to our guest." Alice slammed her mouth shut. "Damn it, stay out this bitch!"

"Heh, I knew she was there." Dragon Jaden chuckled.

"Stay out of this Dark Alice, I already have enough trouble with my real husband gone." Alice growled.

"Hate to break it to you, but he is your husband, just a dark personality of his dragon half due to all of the years of pain and fighting accumulated in a physical form." Dark Alice said.

"Shut up, the Jaden I love doesn't act like this lying, disgusting, and rape-thinking monster before me." Alice shouted.

"In my defense, I've never raped anyone." Dragon Jaden said,

"Shut up, you don't have a defense." Alice remarked.

Dragon Jaden smirked "Well unless you count the marital rape upon my wife." he grinned

Alice huffed as she stood up. "I'm going for a walk." Alice frowned before she left.

"What's her problem?" Dragon Jaden asked,

"Just finish your food so you can get out of our hair." Kikyo said her eyes closed as she continued to eat, not bothering.

Dragon Jaden shrugged as he continued eating

"I'm getting sick of fucking dark dragon drama, can't we just kill him Jaden be damned." Helios growled.

Keith sighed as he continued eating while thinking that there has to be a better solution: like say a wish to erase Jaden's evil dragon personality away

Meanwhile school had the team mostly Davis, Xeno, Kari, Xion, and TK walking to their first-period class when they arrived. They were waiting for their homeroom teacher

At that moment Kagome arrived "Hello class, as you all know my name is Kagome Higurashi Muto and unfortunately Jaden won't be teaching as he'll be on an expedition so until then I'll be teaching you all." she said with a frown

Davis and the others looked at each other knowing something wasn't right, they decided to wait until after class to ask, once homeroom was over the gang walked up to Kagome.

"Is everything ok Kagome?" Kari asked the older girl.

"Yeah, everything is fine." Kagome said, putting on a fake smile.

"Where's the old man?" Xeno frowned.

"Like I said he's on an exp-"

"He chased her away, so she's staying at my place until the deal is up." a voice said everyone turned to see Sai standing in the doorway.

"Wait? Does this have to do with Kikyo's deal with Jaden's evil half?" Xion asked Sai.

"Judging from my mom and her talking as they passed by my room the previous day, I guess so." Sai frowned slightly.

"Kagome, what happened?" TK asked.

Kagome turned away. "Look, it doesn't concern you kids. It's a family matter if you want to call that train wreck family." Kagome said.

"What is going on?" Davis asked with a scowl.

"Nothing! Look Davis, keep out of this and stay away from our house for a week until the deal is over like I'm doing." Kagome said, before she left the room.

"Poor Kagome, it must really hurt to have to leave your home out of fear." Xion said feeling bad.

"Anything else they said Sai?" Kari asked.

"Lunatic canceled her account." Sai answered.

"The fuck! Who does he think he is?!" Davis growled, gritting his teeth. "I… I have half a mind to go and kick his ass!"

"Well you barely have a mind to begin with." Xeno said flatly.

"Things aren't very good at that house." Nikko rolled up and popped open. "And to think they were really making progress No catch that they were making progress until yesterday."

"Nikko, what is Kagome's history with Jaden and his dark half?" Xion asked. "The way she reacts makes you think that something horrible happened."

"Hmm, I think I can trust you if it's alright with Alice." Nikko said (Alice should I tell them of the adventures in the Feudal Era?) she asked through telepathy

(I'm not sure if they are ready, but since they know about Jaden's darker half I think it's necessary.) Alice said as it sounded like she was huffing.

(you ok?) Nikko asked.

(What do you think? I'm sick of him) Alice answered.

"Ahh." Nikko huffed. "If he keeps up, he'll lose his family."

"Is Jaden's dark side really that bad?" TK asked, could tell.

"He nearly choked me to death, and I want to pay him back." Davis frowned only for Kari to elbow him in the gut.

"Trust me, he's not someone to mess with." Nikko warned seeing him in action "What he did to you was him being gentle."

"Gentle?!" Xeno grumbled.

"So where did this wackjob come from?" Sai asked.

"Please don't call him that, he's more similar to your friend there." Nikko said pointing at Xeno "But at a more insane level."

Xion looked at her brother and after seeing Jaden's dark side and his blood knight personality, agreed that Xeno was like a puppy acting tough compared to him who was more like a full-grown wolf who had scars on its body

"The story now." Xeno frowned.

"How about Nikko shows you what happened to me." Kagome said as she nodded at Nikko

Nikko released a barrier which slowed down time and showed Kagome's memories to them

There they learned that when she was 15 years old, she fell down a well and somehow ended up in the Feudal Era where she met the young half-demon named Inuyasha and learned that she was the reincarnation of the miko Kikyo. Eventually, she accidentally shattered the Shikon Jewel, a sacred jewel in which demons and even humans have sought out. Now they travel to gather the shards before any other demons or humans can find them

"Tch, looks like the start of an anime or manga." Xeno commented.

"Fuck off." Kagome growled, having to deal with Inuyasha's attitude

The memories then shifted to various times when Inuyasha annoyed, angered, agitated, or frustrated her and she said the word to trigger the Beads of Subjugation, forcing Inuyasha to fall straight to the ground

"Poor guy, I would kill Kagome if kept doing that shit to me." Sai frowned.

"I wonder if I can make something like that for Xeni." Xion said.

"Bitch!" Xeno growled.

The memories than shifted to him sometimes being sat multiple times in a row in response to what Sai just said

"Wow, it's like watching Jameser and Yolei arguing over and over." Davis remarked.

"Sorry, I was distracted." Kagome calmed down as the memories resumed

During their journey they encountered Shippo, a young fox demon who was orphaned and began traveling with them and who attached himself to Kagome and who annoys Inuyasha

"He's cute with that little fox tail." Kari smiled.

"I know, I bring Shippo snacks whenever I came back from the modern era and I always have to sit Inuyasha for hitting him." Kagome smiled

"If a brat kept annoying me like that I would hit him too." Xeno frowned.

Afterward an evil witch stole the remains of Kikyo and resurrected her using a piece of Kagome's soul. Afterwards they encounter Miroku, a lecherous Monk who was also searching for the jewel shards. After hearing his story of how his grandfather battled an evil demon named Naraku who cursed his family in which the black hole grows bigger and the winds stronger until the wielder is swallowed up with the cure being the death of the one who cast the curse.

Miroku also explained that he knew that Naraku ill attempt to take the Shikon Jewel cause he slaughtered the miko protecting it. When Inuyasha found out he swore that he ill avenge her death. Afterwards he proved to be a valuable friend as despite being a lech, his conman ways had proved useful

"I would've killed him if he wasn't useful." Xion frowned, hating how Miroku grabbed girls by their asses.

"Yeah he once asked me to bear him a son." kagome scoffed

"He said that to every girl he met." Nikko huffed.

"So a feudal player huh?" Davis muttered.

Eventually, they came across Sango, a Demon Slayer whose entire family except her brother were killed after being lured to a trap by Naraku, now all that's left is her and her faithful companion Kirara. Later Naraku revived her brother Kohaku using a shard and was used as a puppet. Eventually, she became a sister figure to Kagome as well as a target of Miroku's lechery

"All of you joined because Naraku was ruining your lives—how awful!" TK said, feeling sorry for them.

Xeno frowned as he sympathized with both Miroku and Sango as they lost their families like he had lost his own father. Of course he wouldn't admit it out loud.

Eventually after Inuyasha battld Sesshomaru, they came across a village that was decimated by man-eating wolves and they came across Koga the wolf demon who had three shards, one in his arm and two in his legs

Koga captured Kagome while Inuyasha and the others were dealing with the wolves. Koga than revealed that one of the birds had a shard and that one day he killed an entire pack of wolves and wants to restore the balance of power to which she agreed to. Eventually when Shippo and her attempted to escape which failed, Koga declared that she was his woman much to her shock who just slapped him in the face. Regardess she still helped him and the pack deal with the Birds and when the whole matter was settled Koga was too injured to fight Inuyasha so Kagome sat him down and told his clansman to get him out of her much to Inuyasha's frustration. On the mountain, they retrieved the shard that the bird had and one of the shards that Koga had and wondered if Koga and Inuyasha would kept on battling. Eventually, when Kagome asked, Inuyasha was alright. Inuyasha then asked the dumb question if she liked Koga to which she blew up and said that she had self-respect and would now go home

"Wow, he really had to ask that question?" Kari frowned slightly.

Kagome frowned before the memories continued this time further in. this time the group came across a bunch of men talking about some rumors to which keith and Miroku came down and asked what was going on and they answered that the shrine of the Band of 7 was destroyed

"The band of 7?" Davis asked.

Everyone listened as they were told that they were mercenaries. There were only 7 of them but their strength was that of 100 men. They were savage. They spared no one not even women and children. Those were burned alive and sliced apart to the point that eventually, all the warlords eventually banded together as they decided that they were too bloodthirsty to live so they were sold out and were eventually captured and beheaded.

"They must a been really dangerous for the warlords to band together and kill them." Kari said.

"I wouldn't mind taking them on," Xeno smirked.

"Before or after you got your power?" Xion scoffed

"I've been kicking but long before I ever got my power Xion, a nice shot to the head my trickshot and it would be over." Xeno frowned.

"Nuh ah, you have to use weapons in the Feudal Era or the powers or skills you have until now," Xion said before smirking. "Unless you can't beat a mere seven bandits without our fathers' guns?"

After Kagome saved Inuyasha from a fatal blow. They were told the historyof So'Unga and its history within Cray. saya said that Inuyasha and Sesshomaru must work together. However due to both brothers history it seem like a hopeless task

Eventually the two brothers were able to defeat So'unga but Jaden claimed the real prize, getting the sword itself as well as dominating the dragon sealed within

"Oh yeah, give a madman a sword that can raise the dead and kill people that's possible." Davis muttered.

Eventually after a battle with Moryamaru. Both Jaden and Kagome were trapped in a cave

There while battling the demon that lived in the cave. This would be the first time he unveil his dark half right in front of her. Despite killing the demon and technically saving as well as making a way out of the cave. This would be the first time Kagome felt fear of Jaden as she was fine with him other times

"And I still fear that fucker." Kagome frowned.

"It must have been horrible." Davis said feeling sorry for Kagome.

"It was, and I started to think maybe there was no way to save him." Kagome frowned.

Nikko than released the barrier

"Well, you should head on to your next class." Kagome said

The group left tried to process this until Davis spoke up. "That asshole, he causes his family grief because he can't tell that dark side to take a hike." Davis gritted his teeth as he clenched his fist so hard until they bled.

"I regretfully admit that it might take time, as the crest can only be located by what the texts say the chosen who inherits the will and traits of humanity and Digimon." Reiko bowed. Their world just turned into data because of technology or did humans begin to banish them to this data world and much like how they adapted to earth they adapted to the Digital World becoming Digital Monsters or Digimon." Alice thought out loud, if her grandpa and her family were here they would jump at the chance to study the digital world and its history.

"Gold Light?" Jaden questioned his hand to his chin. "The two might be referring to a Digidestined and a Digimon."

Rin was hard at work as she walked down the halls of DragonCorps, ever since Jaden and the others had vanished everyone has been worried and were working on a way to located them, however a few days ago she had gotten a signal which knew was Jaden and the others however she couldn't tell what they were saying now in a joint effort with New Dawn and KaibaCorp they were working on locating them.

However with the CEO gone or taking a vacation as most thought it left the Company in a bit of disarray, she arrived at the office and opened the door. "So how are you fitting into your new office?" Rin asked.

A young woman with long white hair said, as she wore a white business suit a black tie and white skirt, she turned to reveal herself to be Hikari the second Youngest of Jaden's children ever since their father and mother vanished someone needed to take over and law stated that the oldest of Jaden's children were left in charge however Yami refused to run the company which prompted Hikari to take over at least until her parents returned.

"Don't know, but I do know that they are probably in another dimension." Rin surmised. "The message I got was breaking up with static."

"You tried tracing it?" Hikari asked.

"Yes, but sadly it wasn't connected long enough to be traced." Rin answered.

Hikari leaned back in her seat. "I hope they are alright." Hikari sighed.

"I'm sure they are." Rin smiled hopefully. "You know how strong each of them is, they'll be just fine."

Hikari grinned at Rin, the kid knew how to brighten peoples spirits which was why her little brother loved her. Suddenly an alarm went off, startling both women.

Rin tapped on her tablet as she contacted a team. "What is going on?" Rin asked.

"Ma'am we appear to have received a DNA Message." a man's voice said from the end.

"A DNA Message?" Hikari gasped knowing that Fabia and her people did that when they called upon her father and the others. "Have them decipher it, it's my father it has to be."

Rin nodded. "Begin deciphering it immediately." Rin told them.

"Yes, ma'am." the male voice said.

"I'll contact Mana and the others and tell them we have a lead." Rin told Hikari.

"Good." Hikari smirked.

(Yuki-Muto House)

Jaden and the others were eating breakfast, although the events of the previous day were still with them and most of all Jaden who hated that he had to resort to his evil half to achieve victory and now because of him all the progress he was making with Kagome was ruined, it was like life was punishing him and no matter what he did he couldn't make anything right.

"So Kagome's going to be taking over my job?" Jaden asked Keith.

"Yes, only for a week as due the agreement with your dark side." Keith answered.

"It's best if you stay home for the week to keep up appearances." Alice said.

"I see, and what did the government say about this?" Jaden asked

"Hmm, Sakura is currently talking with them, but I think they are considering you a potential threat." Alice frowned slightly. "But considering that we were able to deal with the Kaiju and Demon, I'm hoping they'll be lenient and keep their distance."

"Things just keep going from bad to worse." Jaden growled.

"The Government should understand that having a wild card is better than anything, they would rather have your evil side, Ryuga, as an nessaraty evil then an enemy." Kikyo said with logic.

"I'm surprised it even has a name." Helios stated.

"I think that is something we all were surprised at." Hydranoid said.

"I'm still wondering if what he said was the truth, Kagome is able to calm him down but Nikko is the only one to confirm it, but I feel like we can't trust his words given what he has done in the past." Alice frowned.

"By the way, where is Kagome and for that matter, where's Kikyo and Fabia?" Jaden asked "It's Sunday."

"How should I know where Kikyo and Fabia are? I think Kagome decided to have a girl's day with Kari and the other girls." Alice answered.

"With all that is happening lately they deserve it." Keith remarked. "Things are getting more dangerous and if those two kids had saw Kikyo and the others yesterday that Yoko Girl would make the connection."

"You're right, we need to start having those kids wear disguises." Jaden said, with how more frequent the fights are getting lately they need to have the Digidestined mask their identities somehow "Or at least use the same technology to take the battles into a separate dimension. Like some kind of pseudo-space."

"With the limited technology we have, the pseudo-space idea is difficult." Keith remarked.

"Hmm." Jaden nodded.

"How about we give them outfits of the Makai Knights?" Alice suggested.

"Easier said than done, for that requires Soul Metal and to wear Soul Metal requires training if you touch Soul Metal it could burn you." Jaden said

"Who says they have to be made out of Soul Metal alone?" Hydranoid questioned.

"He's right, we can use Materials from this world as a substitute. I'm sure there are a few." Alice said.

Jaden thought about it "It's possible, the end result won't be as strong as an untitled makai Armor or one of the Titled Armors but it could help if we used the right technology." Jaden said

"We can also reinforce them with Kagome and Kikyo's powers along with yours and Alice's." Keith added. "They still probably won't be as strong however they can take a lot of damage from some of the most powerful Kaiju and or Demon's we encounter."

"Chrome Digizoid is rare, but it's the only thing close to Soul Metal." Jaden frowned. "And given how much it takes to make one outfit and with how many kids there are, it'll take a miracle to find enough."

"Indeed." Keith sighed

At that moment Holo Mana appeared in a maid outfit with a holopad in her hand

"Hey sis, why are you wearing a maid outfit?" Jaden grinned

"Cause you programmed it you sick fuck, how exactly are you a father?" Holo Mana scowled.

"I ask him that question everyday." Alice shook her head."Anyway, why are you here?" she asked

"Yeah, we've received a message." Holo Mana said "From our world."

That comment got everyone attention

"I'm going to call Kikyo, Kagome and Fabia, they need to hear this." Jaden said he put on his communicator and called all three of them at once.

(What do you need, I'm very busy right now.) Kagome said, clearly annoyed.

(is something the matter?) Kikyo asked

(aww, I was in the middle of something) Fabia complained.

(hey! You're spying on me and the girls!) Kagome shouted.

(Enough, we just got a response from our world so get your asses over here you three.) Jaden yelled

(really? Sorry girls, I have to cut this short) Kagome said.

(I'm on my way.) Kikyo said.

(coming.) Fabia said.

"Of course that perverted princess is spying on Kagome and those kids." Alice scoffed. "It's good to know that we finally got a message from our world."

"Right, maybe we can get some backup." Keith asked.

"Let's not get our hopes up, it's never that easy." Jaden said, he's been at this long enough to know that never get your hopes up too fast.

"Let's go see what the message is first." Alice said.

"We'll see it when the others get here, knowing Rin she already told the little brat and grandma." Jaden smirked, referring to his sister and Kikyo

"Who are you calling a brat? I mean look at you and how your twisted perverted through." Holo Mana gestured to the maid outfit.

"Please Mana, when you were younger you always wanted to do or go to a maid cafe. I ready your diary." Jaden said

"You motherfucker!" Holo Mana shouted at Jaden, knocking him to the ground, knocking over the table as she tried to punch Jaden, even materializing a dagger to stab him.

Alice just pinched the bridge of her nose as she and Keith decided to leave, not bothering to break up this fight which Jaden incited. "And Ryuga says Davis and Jun have a bad relationship." Alice mocked.

At that point the doorbell rung. "That must be the others." Alice happily said as she went to the door while Jaden fended off Holo Mana

Alice opened the door and saw Kikyo, Kagome and Fabia they heard shouting and fighting.

"What did he do this time?" Kagome asked in a flat tone.

"Oh, Jaden just admitted that he read Mana's diary which admitted that she always wanted to go to a maid cafe or work at a maid cafe." Alice drone with a dull tone

"Hold still! I'm going to cut off your dick and shove it down your throat!" Holo Mana shouted.

"Fuck off bitch, Hell i bet you'll love it too." Jaden smirked

"And this is why people hate him so much." Kikyo shook her head, before returning to the subject at hand. "So we've gotten a message?"

"Yeah." Jaden said as he finally restrained Holo Mana

"And you criticize Davis and Jun's relationship when you enjoy starting fights?" Alice frowned, hand on her hip.

"Hey, we still love each other." Jaden smirked "Even if we try to kill each other." Jaden admitted

"I hate you so much, you son of bitch, you read my diary Kagome Kikyo aim for his head and end him!" Holo Mana shouted in anger.

"I might need to erase that last bit of information." Jaden smiled as he began to type on his smartphone

Holo Catona appeared with a frown on her face as she punched Jaden in the head before grabbing Holo Mana and flipping her on her back. "Enough! God you two are real pieces of work don't you know!" Holo Catona said with a glare.

"Well we should know. Cause we probably get it from your side of the family." Jaden shouted as he pointed at her

Holo Catona frowned. "Don't blame me for how stupid you and Mana turned out with this petty sibling rivalry you two have."

"Fine." Jaden said

"Pfft." Holo Mana scoffed.

"Aplogize to each other." Holo Catona said

"He read my diary!" Holo Mana complained pointing at Jaden.

"You're not a baby, apologize or I'll make you two wish I wasn't solid!" Holo Catona said with a firm glare.

"I'm sorry for reading your diary." Jaden apologized as he stuck out his hand

Holo Mana glared but sighed. "I'm sorry I tried to cut off your dick." Holo Mana said, taking his hand as they shook.

"How on earth did she or their parents deal with them?" Kagome asked, she could never understand how Jaden and Mana could survive each other, they were worse than herself, Sota, Inuyasha, Shippo and Sesshomaru combined.

"Anyway, let's go see that message." Jaden said in nonchalant tone

"I hate him…" Holo Mana muttered.

Everyone went to the lab and opened up the message that they received from their world, on it was a video of Rin and Hikari.

"Jaden we have gotten your message, we have been trying to get in contact with you but now we might be able to open a link between us and the world you are in." Rin said.

Everyone was excited by the news and Jaden tried to see if he could get a signal through to Rin this time around. The screen came to light however like before there was static.

"Rin, do you hear me?" Jaden asked.

"O…. sec… j…ing…" Rin's voice was breaking up.

"Come on…" Kagome muttered, sweating slightly.

The image slowly began to clear up and soon a fully clear image of Rin and Hikari appeared on the screen.

"Daddy, Mom can you hear us?" Hikari asked.

"Yeah, we can see you." Jaden said happily.

"Oh thank kami you all are alright, right we were all worried about you when you suddenly vanished." Rin said in relief.

"Don't worry we're all alright." Jaden said before looking at the Holo versions of his sister and grandma "While most of us."

"Daddy what did you do this time?" Hikari asked.

"Tell me is your aunt there?" Jaden asked

"Not yet, but we sent out for them they should be here in a few minutes." Hikari answered.

"What's with the Holo Versions of them? And…." Rin gestured to Holo Mana's maid outfit.

"Don't ask, just a perverted man who gets a kick out of embarrassing women." Holo Mana frowned.

Jaden snarled at her "You were all supposed to be AI Holograms meant for dueling, you weren't supposed to gain sentiance at all. And not only that they hijack my equipment…at least until i finally regain control…this is just payback." Jaden smirked

"Well daddy I think the Universe just hates you." Hikari said bluntly.

"It does sweetie, it really does." Jaden acknowledge

"We really don't know ourselves, as we also have the memories of our real selves." Holo Xion stated. "We theorize it could be because of this world's laws, since in this world there are living creatures made of data."

"You mean like the interspace?" Hikari asked curiously.

"More complex." Alice said as she smiled happy to see her little girl. "I see you're a suit baby, are you going somewhere fancy?"

"Until you all are back, someone had to take over DragonCorps and since I'm not old enough yet it was done to blood relatives, and Yami refused to take over in her words 'i don't want to take over for constant failure of a father' so Hikari stepped up." Rin explained.

Jaden sighed "So Yami still doesn't get along with me huh." Jaden sighed

"What about Eito and Valice?" Kikyo asked.

"Valice is hoping for you all, even dad to return." Hikari answered. "As for Eito…."

"Hmm, let's just say he hopes you don't come back…." Rin trails off.

"Figures." Jaden said before he brightened up "So how are you and my son doing while we were gone?"

"That's between me and Eito." Rin winked.

"Why does our family have to hate?" Alice asked, she and her family were broken 2 of her kids hate Jaden or just show indifference to him and 1 of her kids despises both her and Jaden and one loves both of them.

"It most has to do with Jaden fucking up." Holo Kisara said bluntly.

Jaden sighed as everyone was right but he was willing to repair his family little by little, piece by piece even if it took years. "Anyway, is it possible for you to send help?" Jaden asked

"Hmm, now that we got your coordinates we should be able to cross into that world." Rin surmised.

"Should?" Kagome asked

"What'll happen if it fails?" Kikyo asked

"Splat City." Hikari said with her thumb down.

"It shouldn't be a problem, DragonCorp has the same technology as my world, traveling to this world should be child's play." Fabia said.

"Remember, this world's law and physics are still foreign to us, so who knows that opening a dimensional hole could end up turning us into molecules." Keith reminded everyone.

"So what is the world like?" Hikari asked curiously.

"The creatures are called Digimon and lived in a world known a the Digital world, and they are comprised of Data but they could also be in the real world." Jaden said

"Digimon? Sounds like something out of one of Aunt Mana's mangas." Hikari giggled.

"Hey mind your aunt." Holo Mana frowned.

"But from notes that a friend of this world gathered they were originally creatures of magical origins who lived in another dimension that was turned into the Digital world as technology advanced." Alice continued

"So they are like Kaiju, only they are data much like the virtual bakugan and kaiju in the interspace." Hikari said.

"In a way, but these kaiju adapted to their environments. Original they could only be seen through magical means since they lived in their dimension." Jaden said

"That's amazing, but how did it change from magic to data?" Rin wondered out loud.

"So they were like when the Egyptians used the Millenium Items to conger monsters but over time as Magic became less used and the digital age began the monsters instinctually began to adapt to this changing world along with their own dimension." Hikari surmised.

"Indeed." Jaden said "And with that brought forth a whole new set of rules." Jaden said

"Amazing, if Aunt Xion was there she would have jumped at the chance to see it." Hikari said with excitement. "Oh sorry Holo Aunt Xion."

"Funny this is, there are counterparts to us in this world." Jaden said

"Counterparts?" Rin and Hikari asked.

"I could confirmed at least three so far. Xion, Xia and Xeno so far." Jaden said

"Really? Xeno you mean the guy you choked when you and Kikyo went to revive her?" Rin asked.

"I still don't understand why you attack him?" Alice asked her husband.

"Back off, yeah that's three counterparts, anyway what's the situation there?" Jaden asked

"We were looking for you, but there's also been Kaiju, Demons and Bakugan missing, some claim they vanished through a portal." Rin answered.

"Any witnessed reports?" Jaden asked

"A few but no one knows where the portal comes for or where they go, we've been investigating it and also there's a dark energy going around not long after you vanished." Hikari answered.

"Dark Enegy?" Kikyo asked.

"Its… the same as…. You're evil half…." Rin said nervously.

"Ryuga's?" Jaden asked

"Ryuga?" Rin asked.

"It's a long story, to summarize just a couple day ago I fought a serpent demon who told me that he arrived to the world through a portal and in order to fight a Kaiju that me and a colleague of mine created I had to resort to my evil half." Jaden said

"Oh dad…" Hikari muttered, she wasn't angry or disappointed, she knew father wouldn't do something like that unless he had no other choice.

"Anyway, Kikyo made a deal in which he could be out for a week. Apparently Kagome wasn't thrilled as she left and went to a hotel." Jaden continued

"He canceled my cards!" Kagome raised her voice.

"I just don't see why he's obsessed with you." Rin asked

"And after a duel the deal was he could be out on the weekends from now on and he left a not saying that his true name was Ryuga Dragonis." Jaden said

"But why would he have a separate name if he's you're evil side?" Hikari asked, confused.

"Who knows?" Jaden asked "I mean Haou wasn't his true name either you know just a title."

"The data we got during the battle of the Kaiju showed a dark power just like Ryuga's as well, I starting to think there might be a connection between the dark energy appearing in our world and this world." Kikyo frowned.

"It's no coincidence we arrived here, a dark energy corrupting Kaiju from our world and here and it's like Ryuga's." Alice said. "But what about the portals and who could be behind them?"

"Indeed, you're right about that." Jaden asked before turning to Rin "Rin is it possible for you and and the rest of Dharak's and Nikko's children to come here and is it possible for you to find someone you could trust to take over for you?" he asked "Cause right now I need you here."

"Don't affiliate me with that fucker." Pyros said, hoping on Rin's shoulder.

"Pyros watch your mouth." Nikko said.

"I rather die then have Dharak as my father, I mean look how Jaden failed as a father." Pyros remarked.

"You little brat, how about you come here and i show you." Dharak roared as he hopped on Jaden's shoulder

"Oh oh what are you going to do?" Pyros mocked.

"Pyros stop it." Nikko roared before turning to Dharak. "And you act your age, getting into a shouting match like a child."

Dharak snorted before muttering "Who are you to criticize me wench." before floating away

"Why do you want me to come there?" Rin asked. "Don't you think having either, one of the others come instead?"

"Again, long story." Jaden said "I need some help for Alice cause Chaos Breaker is here and we're dealing with another enemy called the Digimon Emperor." Jaden said

Jaden and the others than explained what's been going on these days to both Rin and Hikari

"So there's an evil kid taking over the entire digital world?" Hikari asked.

"As much as I want to help, but I don't know what I could help with." RIn said she wasn't afraid to go, however she wondered what was the point of her going since the group they had could handle everything on their own without her. "But we'll try to get to you."

"See that you do, just try to send help alright." Jaden said as he left

Alice frowned when she followed Jaden, once she caught up she spoke. "I need help because Chaos Breaker is here? Is this the best excuse you have?" Alice asked.

"What are you getting at?" Jaden asked

"In truth we don't need Rin here, and you know it as there are better candidates back home." Alice pointed out. "It's about what Ryuga said isn't it?"

"Maybe?" Jaden admitted

"Not maybe, definitely." Alice remarked. "Jaden, bringing her here isn't going to fix anything with him, you saw how obsessed he's with Kagome I think he's lying and only wants to torture Kagome."

"Can you even trust his words? Even if what he says is true we can't trust him." Hydranoid spoke up.

"I don't trust him either, but if what he said is true then maybe having Rin around could help." Jaden said.

"Or get her raped." Alice remarked.

"Alice, I'm your husband you should have a little more faith in my judgment." Jaden said.

"Every Time I give you a little faith, you always do something stupid to make me drop it." Alice frowned.

Jaden chuckled "Touche, but no matter how he speaks cryptically, there's always some truth in them." he smiled

Alice frowned "What makes you say that?" she said in a harsh toe

"You inherited all of Valice's memories right and sometime talk to Valice right?" Jaden asked

"Yeah…" Alice muttered, turning away. "But I don't have any memory of Cadance or this so-called Daughter of hers. I would have remembered the 4th supreme child."

"Did Haou ever told you he also devoured Humans?" Jaden admitted

"Yes, she's seen it." Alice said blandly.

"And what did she told him?" Jaden smiled

"She trusted him to make the right choice." Alice sighed. "But how can I trust you to make the right choice?" She wanted to believe in Jaden more than anything but everytime she did she was always disappointed.
